So in the Sonic underground au how does being roboticized work with them already being robots? (Side note I love this au so much, Sonic underground was my favorite show growing up)

Okay, so here’s what I got for roboticization in the Celestial Underground Au. So the factor of being roboticized is in multiple levels to it.

Roboticization in the CU Au is a bit different from the original source(Sonic Underground) due to multiple factors, such as the main cast and at least over half of the population of Superstar Kingdom (yes that’s the name of the kingdom for now)being animatronics.

Roboticization physically enhances an animatronic and ‘human’ person’s body and ability, it’s like an “upgrade” of sorts.

In depth explanation below.

Physically:

For humans it works the same as it did physically for any organic (there’s plenty of different animal species)characters from Sonic Underground, with all of their flesh being converted into metal.

Animatronics on the other hand, when getting roboticized, are “upgraded” to be superior to their former selves physically and strength wise.

Any clothes the roboticized wore when roboticized will also fully fuse with the “person’s” body(like the original from what I can tell), no need to change clothes when roboticized or something.

Mentally:

Mentally on the other hand is a different can of worms. Overall from the outside the roboticized are not their former selves, being a husk meant to fulfill either the command of the Creator or his forces, or to be ‘improvements’ of their former selves to create the Creator’s desired superior world.

For most roboticized people their former consciousness is basically in a comatose state, unaware of anything happening and basically in mental storage asleep.

Then there’s rare cases, like with the chamber that Moon was roboticized in not comatosing the former self, but them being trapped inside their own heads and forced to watch their bodies move out of their own control(the Creator made this chamber like this because Sun’s magic wouldn’t work if he was permanently comatose, he also tested it on a few people before Moon).

De-Roboticization and a bit on Sun and Moon’s powers:

First off, a character’s innate magic is separate from their magic medallions. The medallions add onto the characters magic ability but they are separate(Like hair extensions or something). Sun’s VERY powerful magic for example isn’t related to his medallion, but his magic can boost the power of his or his siblings medallions.

So for de-roboticization I need to address Sun and Moon’s medallion powers. They are the vocalists of the family and if they were to sing the theme song they couldn’t be allowed to sing together or else they’d probably explode everything(I’ll explain the siblings powers fully later and how they collaborate with each other), but alone they’re not strong enough to do more than use it as defense/offense.

BUT when their medallions(individually) are boosted with an external power they have the power to basically mentally de-roboticize someone, or at least give someone who had no control over their own body via an evil force(like possession or something) control over their body once more.

They cannot do this to each other with their own respective medallions(Sun couldn’t de-roboticize Moon with his own medallion and had to use Moon’s, same would go vice versa) so that’s why Sun needed to use MOON’S medallion to help Moon stop being trapped in his own head(they can use each other’s medallions if needed via a spell).

The magic is only the first part, as the second part of de-roboticization is allowing someone to gain full control of their body back, for example while Moon could move his body and prevent himself from actively attacking, his body was still IN attack mode and was trying its best to do as much harm as possible.

Here’s where Solar and Sun’s collaboration comes into play. Sun asked Solar for help in seeing if they could get Moon back(before Moon’s de-roboticization), and Solar agreed. So he tried his best to semi-self teach himself how to override and get rid of any influence the Creator has on a hosts body(like the coding).

Sun tried his best to help where he could and neither of them really PLANNED for Moon’s de-roboticization to happen as soon as it did(the trigger for the reunion), so Solar was working the best he could(with Nexus’ help now that Sun wasn’t hiding from the triplets and he didn’t have to keep it a secret).

They found out how to override and get rid of the Creator’s influence on a roboticized persons code and body

ALSO-

For the hypothetical question of ‘Why didn’t Sun or Moon use their powers to de-roboticize people before this point?’:

They didn’t know that they could just give others their free will back with extra magic for a boost, and they were trying to not get caught as well as they could and the Creator could’ve tracked them if they used enough magic to give someone their mental freedom back, and they’re probably aware that using their medallions together would cause everything to explode(or something). Sun had gone off of a last ditch effort from Solar’s hypothesis in order to try to de-roboticize Moon. Sun had told Solar about Moon’s old nightmares for potential futures(I will write about this one tomorrow), Solar then created a hypothesis based off of reversing the nature of the future Moon was so scared of that he got nightmares. And it worked.

Watcher Lore in the Life Series AU . . . Gimme gimme please :)

(The Watchers are seriously so interesting aaaaaaaaaaaaa-)

ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!!!!

So, the Watchers. Basically, they’re a hivemind of omnipresent beings that see EVERYTHING. They feed off negativity: pain, anger, fear, sadness, grief, death, decay, the like. They’re not quite “alive”, but they’re certainly nourished by the negative energy of the people they watch.

They watched the main Sonic cast for a long time, but overall, Sonic’s world is too positive for them to really be nourished. Sonic has a team of friends who all care about and support each other in the fights between good and evil, and in those fights, good always wins. They were able to feed off major world-shattering events like the Metal Virus and the War to Take Back the Planet quite well, but even those had happy endings. Not only was it not feeding them, they found it boring.

So they came up with an idea: pit these “friends” against each other. Force them into a situation where they have to not just hurt each other, but kill each other. So they transported them into a world created by the Watchers, where they were all weakened, threatened by the environment, and tending toward hostility. The Watchers can’t completely overwrite free will and force people into doing things, but they can set rules, and they can influence people toward what they want.

It worked amazingly. The first round wasn’t perfect, granted—everyone was too upbeat at the start; Shadow was not only there, but also the winner (a lot more on him later); and way too many people kissed—but it was still delicious, and an excellent proof of concept. They only grew more hungry in the months between 3rd Life and Last Life, and after perfecting the idea with that round, they made it into a regular event. The players would feed them with their fear during the season, be allowed to return home for a few months so they were preserved for the next one, then be brought back to do it all over again.

Now, somewhere along the way, Shadow was forced to be involved quite a bit more than the other players.

The Watchers first took notice of Shadow due to his connection to the Black Arms. They fed off him quite a bit thanks to his grief and his refusal of emotional support, but after a while, they decided that as the Ultimate Lifeform, he was worthy of becoming one of them. Not long before 3rd Life, they transformed him into a Watcher via a very painful process. He didn’t know exactly who they were or what they did to him, but he still fought back, resisting their hivemind in favor of joining the game.

Since he’s physically present in the world, he doesn’t have the all-seeing capabilities of the other Watchers, but he knows a lot more than he should, especially when it comes to the rules of the games. For example, in the most recent game, Wild Life, he knows what the wild cards are before they even begin. Anytime someone violates the rules or needs to clarify something, he’s the one keeping everything in line.

There’s more than this, but this is what I have worked out for certain so far. Apologies if this isn’t 100% consistent with Martyn’s Watcher lore, I’m admittedly not an expert on a lot of it- but hey, it’s my AU!! Let me know if y’all have any suggestions for things I should add or change :D

so why do you like Scourge the Hedgehog? What got you interested in him?

Yo my first ask!!!! Thank you so much for asking me a question, and to anybody else, I'll always be happy to respond to questions you may have about me or my oc's. Anyways, this is gonna be kinda long. ^^'

Long Explanation: So I've always liked Scourge design wise, ever since I was pretty little. Maybe about seven was when I saw him for the first time? I used to mistake him for Manic, but eventually learned the difference. When I learnt he was an Evil Counterpart of Sonic, I was hooked on him. I've always been a fan of AU's, and the concept has been something I loved to write for a very long time. Since I was young, I didn't understand his character, and wrote him in a dumb way when I was younger. Usually as a generic bad boy antagonist in Sonic High School AU's and stuff...

Later on during 2019, I was bored and decided to read more of the Archie Comics. That's when I learnt his backstory, and I became HOOKED on his universe, and the other Anti Counterparts. I began doing research, and I ended up starting a Gacha Life Shorts Show called The Misadventures Of Moebius on Tik Tok. It's still currently going, and I genuinely have fun writing it. It's mostly just me expanding on Anti Mobius, since the Archie Comics came to an end, and we never got to see many things from the universe. Many of the early episodes are inaccurate to my thoughts on most of the characters nowadays, and how they act. But to be fair, it's my first ever series, and I was only about 12 when I began making it for the first time. And at that point, I didn't even finish reading Archie like a dummy. I basically wanted to make silly shorts with some goofy characters I liked.

I appreciate his cool design, and the many writing opportunities he holds. It's easy to see Scourge as all evil, and write him as a cool villain. This is because of his cocky and rebellious demeanor. But it's also just as easy to see him as a misunderstood and not all evil character, which is how I personally see him. I think the idea of him and his father would've been cool to see more of, since obviously Scourge's home life effected the way he turned out growing up. And that if he's with the right people, he could've been just like Sonic! Kind of like an inverse on what he says to Sonic during one of their battles. In other people's AU's he's still a bad guy, but in my own I redeemed him. The nuanced way that people can see his character is a reason why I love him so much!

Plus, I like how he isn't super crazy like other Archie Sonic Villain's. Sometimes he's just kind of a dickbag, and I always enjoy someone who can be threatening, but also silly. I don't love everything about his character of course, he has some things that I try to forget about with his writing. But that's basically the case for every single character I like from anything ever. XD

I love this little shit so much. XD

TLDR:I've liked the green goober for a while now, but only since 2019 have I been more public about my love for this dummy. I love the idea of his universe, I like the many paths writers can take his character, and I just think his personality is really fun.

If you're interested, bellow is a work in progress on my Headcannon/AU Scourge that I use in my TMOM Episodes and videos! I hope to draw him, and the other cannon cast more often. And maybe interacting with my Anti Counterparts I made, or original characters from his universe I've built up for five years now. But I'm starting out by just making him a ref page. AU & fic ideas masterpost

I just thought I'd put it down for myself, but if any of those interests you, feel free to ask me questions about them! (Most of them are Tails-centric because of course they are)

General ideas & aus building off the mainline setting

I probably wouldn't actually write fics about those but but some of them hardly qualify as "aus" to me. Also most of those don't have actual names

Sunflower au – this is just my general Tails-centric au where I dump all of my worldbuilding headcanons. I base some of the other aus off it.

Roadtrip au – this one is about Tails and Sage as adults going on another soul-searching roadtrip.

The one with Tails's parents – ok I firmly believe that Tails doesn't need parents in canon and I'm glad that it's left up to interpretation, but I was like "what if he has a human name because one of his parents was a human?" And then it kinda happened.

Parents au – similar name to the other one but this one is actually about Knuckles, Amy and Sonic coparenting Tails together. Everyone is older in this au, except for Tails.

Tailswap – this one is just Tails getting bodyswapped with a version of himself from another universe where he only has one tail. They try to swap back (It's not compatible with some of the other aus because alternative universe Miles has different parents)

Bodyswap au - another bodyswap idea, but this time it's the core four getting swapped around. It's just shenanigans all the way through.

Storybook au - this one is just the classic "characters get trapped in a book and have to finish the fairytales to get out", this already kinda happened to Sonic, but this time it's with 6 more people. (Each for a chaos emerald). Each of them is the main character of their own fairytale and they only recover their memories when they get to the end of their story and get the chaos emerald (this part is inspired by the iseakai stories Sonic Channel is doing rn)

Sickfic idea - Tails gets sick for the first time after meeting Sonic. This one I kinda do want to make into a fic.

Memory loss idea - basically Sonic gets a... very specific fantasy version of memory loss (accident in Tails's lab). It's meant to explore how unconventional Sonic and Tails's sibling dynamic is to an outsider, except the "outsider" here is Sonic himself.

Hanahaki idea - I honestly don't have anything specific for it, but maybe I'll come up with something.

Anti au - basically Sonic & his closest friends (at least Tails and Amy, I'm not sure what I want to do with Knuckles here) are... well not evil necessarily, but they cause destruction with no regard for others, they just want to have fun mostly and don't care who gets in the way. Eggman is still not a good person, but he's not as open about his villainy and tries to present a good image to the public. I need a better name for this.

Alvin and the Chipmunks crossover - I just feel that the aatc cast would fit so perfectly into the world of Sonic. I don't know.

Aus that are more explicitly alternative universes

Superhero au - this also doubles as a high school au. It's the classic teenage superhero thing, but it's probably my favourite au and I have a lot of stuff for it.

Magical girl au - magical girls! and boys. Chaos emeralds help the characters transform so it's only 7 people getting the power. Each of them gets a unique power that they can use even without the transformation (for example for Sonic it would be his speed, etc.)

Tangled - au based specifically on Tangled the Series. It's mostly me putting the Sonic characters into scenes from the show and amusing myself with it.

Wizard of Oz - not actually based on the Wizard of Oz, mostly its vibe. Cream and Shadow are the main characters there.

Actual Wizard of Oz au - au where the characters take on the roles of the Oz characters from the first book. It's kind of supposed to be a comedy, all the characters know they're doing a parody.

Aus that are based on specific adaptations

Ever After High au - that's what it is. I'm having a bit of a trouble assigning the characters fairytales, especially Knuckles (he's a very important character there)

Magic School au - eah au is too complicated with assigning the characters and all, so I've decided to also make a regular magic school au

Aosth au with Amy and Metal Sonic - exactly what it says it is. Except Amy has a plot with Scratch and Grounder, while Sonic and Tails try to fight Metal Sonic. It's mostly about Scratch and Grounder leaving Robotnik and Amy becoming a freedom fighter in her own right.

Au based on the Martin Adams novels (with Amy and Metal Sonic) – Metal Sonic here is actually the character that already exists in the novels, I'm just making them into this universe's version of Metal Sonic. But this au is actually mostly about Sonic & Tails's relationship. Sonic has a quarter life crisis.

Boom au where Tails does become Eggman's lab assistant - ok so you know how in like episode 3 Tails offers to become Eggman's lab assistant for the return of his robot, but then the team gets him out before he signs the contract? But what if they were too late? This au is mostly Tails and Eggman being insufferable to each other, also it could be an interesting challenge to rewrite s1 episodes to be without Tails.

Au where Aosth Tails ends up in the Boom universe - exactly what it says it is. It's mostly shenanigans.

anon I'm sure you thought aha this would be a fun little ask to send Jester, surely they are not insane, well I have autism so you're wrong there anyway.

I'd prolly make my own cast if I had the skill set to draw sonic characters but it's a learning progress still but I can tell you what characters I would assign the tadc cast and why.

Caine - Not Dr eggman funny enough. See Caine isn't evil he's just an ai doing what he thinks is best and if anything he's gone out of his way to keep the others safe in his own very bizzare and insane way but that's part of his coding I guess. I think whoever BUILT caine would be eggman, made to fuck with sonic and his friends so I think if caine would remain the same or if I was really going to assign a chacter it would be sage, simple fact she's already an ai that's become sentiant and throughout frontiers she just fucks with sonic until experiencing acutal emotions. But I think Caine would just be caine with his own personal eggman touch.

Pomni - Silver or Blaze. Silver and Blaze are the main cast but they are not to overly involved with them, they'll help out and they are considered friends but they are also outsiders in a strange way, silver is from the future and blaze is from another dimension. Pomni is the new character, she's WITH them and she's making friends but I think they think of her like an outsider. They both have similar personailities to her to when engaging in something with the group, they'll help of course but stressful situations can make a stressful character.

Ragatha - Amy or cream. Both of these personailities fit Ragatha in there own way, Amy has a certain mothering nature to herself, she's took it upon herself to take care of everyone around her but the thing is she is still only a child herself, she shouldn't be taking on that reponsibility but she's had to grow up fast. And I think Ragatha is somewhat the same, she feels like she has to be the glue that holds everyone together but that is not her responsbility. Cream would fit her due to Ragatha taking a presumed innocence to everything, yes she wants to help and wants to treat everyone with kindness but the fact of the matter is the world is not a very kind place and sometimes you really do have to just be mean.

Gangle - Tangle (lol/happy mask) / whisper (sad mask) although we don't get to see much of Gangle's happy mask from what we have seen she seems to be ready for adventure and maybe when her mask does not break she's the one charging out in front of everyone else the same way Tangle seeks adventure and meaning for herself.

Whisper takes on the sad mask due to her quiter nature as well as emotional state, although she likes to also hide herself behind her mask she i often very vunrable and emotional and tends to keep her distance from others if she can help it.

Zooble - Tails, I wouldn't say personaility wise that Tails fits into Zooble, I think more of Zoobles body when I think of tails, they enjoy to tinker and I think being able to remove parts of themselves and replace it with other parts would be fascinating to Tails. They also seem to have the smarts to go under Caine's nose to do what they want, even going as far as to not join in on adventures. I think tails would take this to explore and gather info, there's a lot about zoobs we don't know but I think they are smarter than anyone really knows.

Kinger - Big the cat. I feel Big just fits Kinger's personaility a litte bit, he's very chill and easy going and often isn't aware of his surroundings due to putting all his focus into finding froggy. He's also somewhat forgetful but is a loving character and often acts as a comfort to others, the same way Kinger does when he has a sane state of mind. I think instead of Froggy though it would be replaced with like a big pill bug or something hjdhvjfn

Jax - Sonic. Jax is a very easy going character minus being an asshole, he tends to do things his own way and dosn't often follow the set narrative that Caine has set out for him to follow. This is the same vein as sonic, Sonic won't ever do what eggman expects him to do, and if he does it's because it's part of whatever plan sonic has up his sleeve. I think the pranks Jax pulls would be redirected towards any ai and robots Caine has set up for them. He prolly keeps his distance from the group to try and get the task done as fast as he can which results in a slow growing distance or usually the group saving sonic at the last rush second.

Other Ai would still remain the same, but the manniquins would prolly be replaced by eggbots.

So… I finally put together my thoughts for my fankids au!

(There’s still a few things I need to work out, but for the most part it’s there. I’m working on art of the fankids right now, so I’ll be posting that along with details about their personalities soon!)

Sonic and Shadow are being watched over by the forces of the universe. After saving the world countless times, the universe decides to pay them back in the form of a wish for each hedgehog, unbeknownst to them.

Shadow wishes to be able to love again, and to be able to be loved in return. The universe pushes Sonic his way, and helps bring to light what has been there all along. They pine for each other for a while, both dancing around actually making a move out of fear of losing the friendship they’ve already formed. Eventually, they get together.

After being together a while, Sonic has the absentminded thought of wishing he could somehow start a family with Shadow. The universe grants him his wish, and they soon find themselves in a predicament they never would have expected.

They have a baby girl, who they name Shade. (Still have to decide if I wanna go the mpreg route or if she should hatch from a egg due to Shadow’s alien DNA) They don’t quite know how she was able to happen, they just know that they’re blessed to have her.

Since Sonic and Shadow were each granted a wish, the universe sees it fit that their child gets a wish as well. Still unaware of the wishes, the new family lives happily. Shade quickly grows, and before they know it, she’s off to preschool. She comes home one day, upset because all of her friends have siblings they get to play with, but she doesn’t have any.

Shade asks Sonic and Shadow if she would ever get a little brother or sister, but when they say they don’t know if that would even be possible, she gets upset. She heads off to her room, angry and on the verge of crying. Sonic and Shadow decide to give her some time to calm down, so she begins to talk aloud to herself, as kids do.

She pouts and exclaims how unfair it is that everyone else gets siblings, and how she wishes she could have siblings too. In that instance, the universe presents itself in a tangible form, and tells Shade that her wish is grantable, but only if it’s truly what she wants deep down in her heart. Being a 3 year old, she’s all too eager to make what she wants happen; and what she wants more than anything right now is to be a big sister. When asked whether she wants a brother or a sister, Shade replies, “How about both!”

From across the house Sonic and Shadow hear a sudden commotion from Shade’s room, so they go to check it out. When they open the door they’re greeted with the sight of their daughter jumping up and down excitedly, thanking a bright presence floating in front of her. They immediately shield their daughter and demand to know what’s going on. The universe then explains how they were both granted a wish in return for all they’ve done for the world, and how it their daughter would be granted one as well.

Of course they’re skeptical at first, but Shadow can feel the chaos energy coming from the being in front of them. He knows that this is some divine power, and when the universe asks them how they think Shade came to be, it all becomes clear that this is no joke, no evil scheme concocted by a villain hellbent on hurting them.

When the universe asks Shade if she’s sure she wants to use her wish now, she replies enthusiastically. The universe wishes them well, and without another word, casts a beam of ethereal light. As it disappears into it, something emerges from it as well. Two small bundles float down to Sonic and Shadow, and when they open their eyes from the blinding light, they each find a baby twin in their arms.

Sonic and Shadow are of course freaked out. They stare at Shade, who is thrilled to meet her new siblings. After a minute of standing there shocked, they finally ask Shade what exactly she wished for. (Even though they already know, they still want to hear it for themselves.) Shade is so excited to have a new baby brother and sister! But upon closer examination, both babies are girls. Confused, she insisted she asked for one of each. Sonic and Shadow reason that it was no easy feat willing two new beings into existence, and that the universe probably did the best it could; they should be thankful for what they’ve been given. After a bit more freaking out, they decide to name the twins Miracle and Destiny.

More years pass as Miracle and Destiny grow. By the time they’re old enough to talk, Destiny begins to insist that she’s a boy like her dad and papa. (Sonic is a trans man, and Shadow knows how hard it can be on Sonic. He also knows what it’s like to not feel right in your own body, as he’s a hybrid creature unlike any other.) They’re super supportive, and Destiny begins going by Destin.

Some time later, a huge chaos disturbance is felt. Shadow and Sonic of course go to check it out, thinking Eggman is up to another one of his plots. Upon arriving with the rest of their team, they come across a huge crater in the middle of the forest. Among it they find a toddler with immense powers.

They of course can’t leave her there, so they bring her home while they try to figure out what she is and where she came from. After much analysis, Tails is able to determine that she’s a result of a two huge amounts of chaos energy colliding. After more tests, Tails is able to conclude that the toddler has both Sonic and Shadow’s DNA. (Maybe it’s residual energy from when they’ve both gone super in the past? I don’t really know yet)

Upon realizing she’s their child, Sonic and Shadow of course take her in. They name her Emerald, Emmie for short. Again, they’ve been granted a child unexpectedly, and this time one with crazy powers. After a while of having her, they’ve witnessed her powers go haywire a few times. Shadow becomes worried, and insists on teaching her how to control her powers, along with the rest of their kids. After a while longer they notice that Emmie seemingly doesn’t age.

A few years later, the family is out having a fun day together, when Emmie spots something unusual. She sees a strange ball of light, which she begins to follow. The rest of the family chase after her, and when they reach the light, they see that its lead them to a baby. He’s alone in an alleyway, crying as he lays in a box. Sonic and Shadow try to comfort him, and they bring him home with them.

Much like they did with Emmie, everyone tries to figure out where the new baby came from. After a lot of digging, they find out that he was a secret experiment made by the government. (G.U.N.? Maybe Eggman is involved?) They’re able to access classified files and learn about Project Ultimus. The baby was a genetic experiment made with both of their DNA, intended to be the True Ultimate Lifeform. When the baby didn’t inherit any of Sonic or Shadow’s powers, the scientists decided to scrap the project and abandon the baby.

Sonic and Shadow are furious, of course. They locate the lab and decide to confront the baby’s creators, who ultimately get what they deserve. They decide to take in Ultimus, and they welcome a new member to the family.

Eventually, each child is granted their wish. Shade, of course, already got her wish of having siblings. Mira wishes for (maybe) the strength to work through her anger issues and subsequent power bursts? Destin wishes for a full transition, and is ecstatic when he is given his dream body. Emmie wishes for her and Shadow to not have to live through eternity without the rest of their family, and she finally begins to age. Ultimus wishes for (maybe) powers like the rest of his family?

Earth-2022 for the WIP asks game?

Earth-2022, also colloquially known as the "Siv Mafia AU", revolves around an alternate universe version of my OC cast, where everyone's a bit more morally grey, or downright evil. For instance, E-2022's version of Sivonne, known as Onnie on their world, works directly for Eobard as a speedster hitman/assassin, and the Jesse Wells of that earth, a pop star known as Jessi Juno, uses her hypnotic voice and sonic powers to run an underground criminal ring, and to coerce her fake publicity boyfriend, the K-Pop idol Moon Hyun-Ki to stay with her.

Overall it's quite a bit darker than the other fics featuring my Arrowverse OCs, most of which take place on Earth-2002, and has a different tone and overall themes.

"I may not be the hero my universe needs, but then again, what "canon" even properly works here? I say go against common convention and be who you wish to be, not who people solely WANT you to be."

We all know about the tale told across time and space, of the same blue, cool and awesome hero we all know and love, and the canon events that make it happen. However, that tale is not what we're discussing today.

And before you ask, compared to Hobie, D-Sides Mighty lacks any political fronts and is pretty consistent on all sides, despite not being the actual hero of his land. Rather, it's the universe he comes from that's inconsistent with how it writes things.

For instance, the universe rewrote things so that several deaths meant to be canon were avoided; namely those of Evan Afton and Maria Robotnik (granted, she's the villain in this universe, but still), meaning here, William Afton never became a serial killer.

Whilst Mighty isn't the hero of the Sonic D-Sides world, he seems to be quite the ripe pick for entities like Zephaniah and God Z to take form from, mainly due to him being obscure compared to the rest of Team Sonic.

His universe is one that sticks a pretty high middle-finger at Lost Memory Sonic's way of thinking and everything he THINKS he knows about the SEGAVerse. As such, he's never been in the Quill Society all his life, neither has his universe's proper hero, Claws (D-Side Knuckles).

He made his first appearance in this AU from More than One Universe accompanied by the D-Sides counterparts of Ray, Honey and Nitro (the lattermost dubbed "Hefty" here), having come to help with sorting out the multiversal evils and getting them cured. And as the seventh official member of the Blur Gang, he stands out for being the only armadillo in the crew.

Oh, yeah. And if you're wondering, that same universe houses its own counterpart of Toxinfect that's the only being in existence to actually admire what he's doing, the entity being dubbed Mightaminate.

You know how horror stories have sometimes dark interpretations of fairy tales in the stories? well that could be the Maria lives / Shadow puppet Au. sorry asked a weird question for the AU but your response to the question was as wonderful as i thought. Also before i forget to ask, did sonic know about Shadow before his brainwashing or did Maria had to fill him on that? and what was sonic first meeting with shadow in this AU if there was one?

ohh i guess. Puppet Shadow au really spiraled into its own thing lmao while its def got "dark and gritty remake of sonic the hedgehog" vibes to it once you dig deeper its got its own balance of comedic and dark, similar to the actual games!

the lineup of characters, for example, is useful for both great funney and also big sad. Like, Maria flips from grieving yet determined individual to chaotic mad scientist/older sister vibes at the drop of a hat, and the rest of the cast has similar stuff to them as well

they act as one big chaotic family but each have their own sadness because of how the world has become, plus the ghibli-esque environmentalist themes of industrialism vs. nature is something thats developed the more i work on this au

AND NO Shadow was taco bell bonged at around the same time Maria died in Prime universe so Maria had to fill Sonic in on that

I have.... no ideas for Sonic's first meeting with Shadow in this au (though i imagine its a warped version of their first meeting in SA2) tbh. but in this au Sonic's relationship with Shadow is basically that one scene in Sonic Colors where he's talking to a broken robot

He's got a bit of a harsher edge to his nicknames and banter in this au tho since Shadow hasn't proved himself to be capable of doing good yet. He calls Shads a "Science Fair Project" after all

in fact most of the cast call Shadow by his full title "Project Shadow". Maria and Sonic are the only exceptions, and Sonic only because of the nicknames he gives
