Evening friends. It’s angst time B)

Marc0 and Sav: @ask-sav-and-squip​

Marc0 sat curled up on the bed in Kaedyn's room, his knees close to his chest as tears began to well in his eyes. Out in the hallway, he could hear Kaedyn and Sav fighting about him. About the shit he had done to Sav. To Garen. He hadn't meant to listen in, it had just ended up happening. 

"How do you know he's not going to stab you in the back!?"

His breath hitched in his throat as Sav spat the accusation out. It was no question he was trying to move on from what he had done in the past. He knew that Sav probably wouldn't ever forgive him. It still didn't make him regret it any less.

His tears finally fell when Sav's question was met with silence from Kaedyn.

No....No, she was wrong. He'd never hurt Kaedyn. He'd never betray that trust. She knew that. Kaedyn knew that. .....Right?

He unintentionally flinched as a door slammed shut, which was followed by a "Fuck!" from Kaedyn.

Kaedyn gently knocked on the door to her room before opening it and walking inside. A frustrated sigh left her as she shut the door behind her. She pinched the bridge of her nose before she glanced over at Marc0.

"You okay?"

Marc0 simply nodded, quickly wiping his eyes and sitting up straight. The less vulnerable Kaedyn saw him, the better. Before he could speak though, Kaedyn was over at his side, sitting down on the bed next to him and taking his hand.

She saw a stray tear roll down his cheek and gently wiped it away. "Sorry you had to hear that."

"It. .....it's fine...Really."

"No it's not." 

Marc0 sighed and let out a shaky breath as Kaedyn wrapped an arm around him. He hesitated for a moment before leaning into her. "I really am trying, Kaedyn. I'm trying to improve from my past..."

Kaedyn looked up at him before hugging him with her other arm as well, just holding the AI close. 

"I know you are. I'm sure Sav does too. ...Just give her some time. She might not forgive you but she'll still understand..."

Marc0 shuddered and buried his head into her shoulder. "Kade, I......" A quiet sob left him as he lowered his voice. "You know I would never do anything to hurt you...Right?"

He silently begged for an answer. Even a "no" would be better than complete silence again.

Kaedyn smiled just a bit and held him tighter.

"After all the shit we've been through? There's no way in Hell you would." She felt Marc0 instantly relax at that and let go for a moment. 

She brushed away a few more tears, cupped his cheek gently, and kissed him to prove her point.

Marc0 held her in his arms as he kissed her right back. He couldn't be more grateful at that moment. A small smile appeared on his lips once they parted.

"I'm really glad....I can't imagine what I'd do without you."

Kaedyn smiled in return and kissed his forehead.

"Well, lucky for you, I'm not going anywhere."

Marc0's smiled faded just a bit at that.  "What about everything with Sav?"

"I'm giving her some time to calm down before she and I properly talk about this." Kaedyn kissed him again, softer this time. "But I made a promise to you. And I'm going to keep it." Another soft kiss before she hugged him tight.

"I am never going to abandon you. And I don't want you to ever forget that."

Happy New Year's everyone!! 🎆🎆🎆

It's been a crazy decade but we made it!! Its had its up and certainly it's downs, but what matters the most is that we all made it! Were all still here. For everyone that has showed this blog support thank you guys so much, I know it's been all over the place lately but for those who have still stuck around thank you, thank you so so much your support has meant the world to me, to be honest it's been really hard to get motivated to draw this year. But I'm going to try and get that motivation back! So what that means is bringing back the bois! I wanna open the blog back up to asks for them and I wanna try and draw them again, although I dunno if they'll still be squips or more dbh androids or possibly a hybrid of the two but I suppose we'll figure it out as we go along! But for now I hope 2020 will be a good decade for everyone and that everyone as a great new year!

With what physical strength she could muster, Violet summoned her shield and launched forward at them, aiming to go for the legs and take them to the ground while they were distracted by themselves.

Once on the ground she pinned the arms and looked Sango in the eyes.

Vi: Fight him Sango! He doesn’t belong here and you don’t belong to him! Force him out! I’ve done everything I can, you need to do the rest!

As the signature of Lothar’s influence disappeared, Violet was first confused, then disappointed, then relieved. Her rage drained, along with her energy. The litany of screens vanished with a heavy sigh. Violet looked down at Sango, suddenly exhausted.

She simply closed her eyes as twin streaks of tears fell, still sat on the floor.

"So, mind telling me what you were doing out there?"

Kaedyn handed Sav a glass of water and sat down next to her on the sofa. The younger girl sighed as she drank a bit.

"How'd you even find me?" She looked over at her sister, clearly dodging the question.

"Edrin caught a blip of someone in our sector."

Kaedyn had offered to investigate. One could only imagine her shock and surprise when she saw Sav trying to hide from her, the girl out of breath and on the verge of fainting. It took some time for Kaedyn to convince Sav to come back to the house with her.

"Now then. Are you gonna tell me what's going on?" Kaedyn looked over to her sister, a stern, yet concerned look on her face.

Sav looked away for a second as she set down her glass. She didn't want to worry Kaedyn more than she had already. The less she got her friends, and now her sister, roped up into her shit, the better it was for them all.

Still, telling her a little bit wouldn't hurt. Right?

She took a shaky breath before explaining. "I was running from someone. I mean, I still am technically but..."

Kaedyn carefully moved closer to her, wrapping an arm around her in a one-armed hug. "Do they have to do with Garen and Sango disappearing?"

"Yeah...." She looked up at Kaedyn. "Do you know anything about the reverse world?"

"I mean, Felix and Edrin are from there, so they'll know more than me. Now then." 

Kaedyn's expression grew serious.

"Who are you running from so I know whose ass I'm kicking?"

Sav immediately shook her head. Shit, she'd already said too much. "Please, Kaedyn I don't wanna worry you-"

"Savannah."

Sav stopped for a moment, her body beginning to shake as tears formed in her eyes.

Kaedyn gently wiped away a tear as it escaped and hugged her sister full on. "You're my baby sister. I'm allowed to worry about you." She held the girl close as Sav clung to Kaedyn, a small sob escaping her. "Why don't you stay here? At least for a little while?"

Sav shook her head again as she started to protest. "Kaedyn, I can't. I can't put you all in danger like that..."

Kaedyn sighed and gently kissed the top of her head. "Look, I might not entirely know what's going on, but I promise everyone here would be more than willing to protect you. And I will do everything I can to make sure you are safe."

Sav looked up at Kaedyn and hesitated for a moment. "Okay...I just don't want everyone getting wrapped up in all this..."

Man, was Kaedyn about to sound like the biggest hypocrite in the world. She reached down and gently wiped another tear from her sister's face.

"We're getting wrapped up in it because we care about you. I care about you. And I'm not gonna treat you like a child about this. But you still need someone to help look after you and keep you safe. ...And if whoever you're running from is from the reverse world, then you can't do this by yourself. At least let me be here for you."

Sav rubbed her eye as Kaedyn finished speaking. She knew Kaedyn had a point. She finally nodded and hugged her tighter.

"Okay....I will."

Kaedyn smiled and kissed Sav's head again. "That's all I ask."

The siblings sat on the sofa for, honestly Kaedyn forgot how long, before the older one spoke again.

"Why don't we get you in the blanket fort, I'll make you my signature hot chocolate, and we'll just rest." A smirk appeared on her face. "I didn't wanna say it earlier, but dude. ...You look like shit."

Sav finally let out a small chuckle at that. "Shut up."

She let up her grip on Kaedyn and sat back upright. "Thanks, for everything, really."

Kaedyn smiled and gave Sav one more squeeze before letting go. "It's no problem at all, Sav. I love ya, kid." The duo stood, Kaedyn keeping an arm around Sav. "Come on, let's get you into the fort and under a shit ton of blankets."

Sav smiled back as they walked downstairs. "Honestly, that sounds amazing right now."

For the first time in a while, if just for right now, Sav finally felt safe.
