I'm very confused on everything. I have done a little research on trying to figure out all of this mess. I'm with Palestine, but I find myself not agreeing with other people with Palestine often. Mainly because of the word "Zionism" and "Zionist"

I want to know if being a zionist is bad. I am not Jewish, nor have the people telling me it's bad been Jewish, either. I thought it would be best to ask someone who is actually Jewish, so I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable. Is being a zionist bad? Or good? Or just neutral? TLDR- Zionism is simply the notion that Jews have the right to self-determination, a state in Israel AKA Zion. That's it. It's not inherently evil, and it has been around ever since we Jews were first exiled from the land. It's engraved in our culture and religion: prayers, wedding ceremonies, holidays, etc. Also, Most Jews are Zionists, approximately 95%, which is why we feel that by saying you're "antizionist" you're actually being anti-Semitic.

Unfortunately, in recent years, the pro-Palestine movement has been using this phrase synonymously with "evil", Referring to Zionists while using slurs coined by literal neo-nazis & leaders of terrorist organizations... In general, these terror organizations have been using words like "Zionist'\ and "The Zionist entity" and Jews interchangeably, and now so do pro-Palestine people.

There possibly would have been an arranged marriage for both, but since our earl wasn't expected to inherit, there wouldn't be as much expectation for him to marry. If they'd had a daughter, there would have been more pressure to marry her off. They might have arranged a marriage between their daughter and Edward.

If Madam Red had borne a daughter, as she'd hoped, that daughter could have ended up betrothed to our earl, even though there would be a nearly ten year age gap. But I'm sure they could find someone much closer to our earl's age to match him with, if they wanted to arrange a marriage for him. The only thing is, the way Madam Red obsesses over Vincent, she might plead for them to have our earl wait until her own daughter was old enough to marry him.

Lizzie was meant to marry real Ciel, since he's the older twin, the original heir intended to become earl and watchdog.

She treated (and treats, technically) real Ciel as her betrothed. Our earl, she treats more like a brother or friend. Of course, right now she's angry with our earl and also angry with herself for not being able to tell them apart when our earl was pretending to be real Ciel.

This weird arrangement of marriages between cousins reminds me of the comparison I did between Black Butler and the Egyptian myth about Thoth helping the goddess Nut bear her five children: Osiris, Set/Seth, Horus (the elder), Isis, and Nepthys -- the siblings intermarry and have affairs, leading to Set/Seth killing Osiris, Isis getting Osiris resurrected, etc. Except here, we have Rachel giving us real Ciel (Osiris) and our earl (Set/Seth), Francis/Frances giving us Edward (Horus the elder) and Lizzie (Isis), and Madam Red was trying to have a daughter (Nephthys). A meaningless point. I didn't deny civilian deaths; I asked how many of the dead were terrorists. Anyone capable of critical thinking would ask for figures to be verified first before parroting them.

romantic candidate - Ishizu/Isis Ishtar?

[ yes yes YES! Thank you for the suggestion! I have only just begun to explore this dynamic, because as stated in a previous post I just never really gave the Ishtar family unit much attention. Struggled too much growing up and Only Wanted Seto. I went through a bit of Trustshipping content this morning and I have to say, the more I read into it the more I'm a fan. It really makes SO much sense for Isis/Ishizu, given Seto's significance in her own life, and I feel even without her Millennium necklace she makes a good, headstrong foil to Seto. She most definitely does not need future vision to go tit-for-tat with him, although if I am to make a small headcanon of my own here, I'd say that necklace left her with quite the sense of intuition. I see her being proud of Seto and his accomplishments and finding it easy to empathize with his trauma, and vice versa honestly. I don't remember exactly how Seto interacted with Marik or how he reacted to the story of how Marik's markings were painfully carved into his flesh (Fenris, anyone? No? Just me? Kay.) because it's been so long since I've watched that part of the anime. Admittedly I missed a lot of it after Battle City because we switched cable providers when I was a kid and I lost the channel I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! on, and I haven't found a lot of content here on Tumblr yet BUT I would love to learn!

ANYWAY! I digress. I think Ishizu would be a fantastic partner for Seto, although I do think both of them would struggle in the beginning with emotional intimacy and how Marik specifically is treated by Seto. Something tells me they would not get along, but again, I lack proof so I may retcon that little tidbit. He needs to be able to get along with Marik in some fashion, and Rishid as well. He'd get the ick about letting so many new figures into his life, I think, but he'll be fine after some time. I would genuinely love to discuss this topic with anyone more familiar with the ship and their dynamic, but I am thoroughly convinced as it is! I think they would get along quite well in all aspects. It would just take work, and time - but all the best relationships do. ]

Hi, I’m not saying criticising the Israeli government is antisemitic, I literally posted that I hate them earlier today. Here’s a summary of I what I wrote in previous posts about this:
