Virginia is nothing like New York City. It buzzes with a different kind of life: a thick, sweltering heat that lingers even after the sun goes down, the ever present droning of a million insects. It's a cicada summer, something common enough for the area, but this year is special. Two of the periodical cycles have coincided so that millions of them will appear all at once.

Lucky them.

"You get used to it," her cousin Rachel had said. Easy for her to say. It's been three weeks, and Lizzie is still very much not used to it. It's not the noise that bothers her, though. It's the fact she can't go three or more steps without nearly stepping on one, and the humidity is so bad her skin always feels perpetually wet. A Southern cicada summer, indeed.

She wishes she could sleep. Everything is just a little bit off—room too warm, blankets too rough, pillow too soft. She tosses and turns and tosses some more before finally giving up. All of the books their family owns are in the living room. Maybe that will help.

She tiptoes past the other bed, where Boots lies fast asleep, and eases the door open, then gingerly makes her way down the stairs, just in time to see someone else slip out the front door.

It's Gregor.

Lizzie makes her way to the window to peek through the slats just in time for her brother to disappear behind the barn. What is he doing at this hour? Other than the obvious; there's only one person taking the move worse than she is, and it's him. Either he sleeps a lot or not at all.

Should she go after him? Where would he have gone? What would she even say? She—

The sound of something scrapes across the gravel. Gregor's retrieved the ladder they keep leaned against the backside. Then, making sure the legs are firmly planted on the ground, he begins to climb, slowly, carefully, up to the roof of the barn.

Lizzie tries to tug the slats a little wider, but the wood won't give, so she pushes the blinds a little higher, eyes fixed on the small figure on the roof.

What is he doing. Gregor's fully on the roof now; he eases himself down to lie on his back. Folds his arms over his chest. Lizzie can't tell if his eyes or closed or not, but he doesn't move save the slight rise and fall of his chest.

The heat doesn't seem to bother him, nor the bugs, and, strangest of all, he's traded his customary long sleeved shirt and pants for a t-shirt and shorts. When's the last time she saw him wearing those? Uncovered, his scars almost glow, wrapping around his arms and continue further up underneath the sleeves.

Every mark tells a story of its own. Every mark is another thing that separates her from her brother: all the things that she will never experience, all the things he will never forget.

Gregor's never felt so far away.

Hi Professor! That's a great question, actually. Previously I was using a google spreadsheet that hasn't been updated in months. But after asking around, I found this excellent website: https://neuralen.modoo.at/?link=4fqd7c06

It's a little janky, but it’s a very thorough list that looks like it's actively maintained. It's updated to the most current releases on CN, and it even includes the gifs of each projection in action.

That said, explore it at your own risk. There are certain upcoming characters who are tightly connected to future events. Thanks to this site listing not just outfit previews, but also limited characters, they're nigh unavoidable, and they don't come with spoiler warnings. Do with that what you will.

I'm afraid not. I am not much of a baker. My partner bakes, and I asked him for his bread recipe. He sent me this (some edits for clarity):

Choose how many grams of water you want to start with, then multiply by 1.515151 (add as many 51s as you want). This number is how many grams of flour to use. If you use milk, you want a hair less than if it was water, so multiply by 1.51 only. Then take the grams of flour and multiply by .02 for grams of salt. Multiply the grams of salt by .5 for grams of yeast and malt. Grams of water * 1.51515151 = Grams Flour [gFl] gFl * .02 = Grams Salt [gS] gS * .5 = Grams Yeast & Grams malt Put it together and it makes bread.

If you're using yeast and malt, their combined weight should be [gS * .5], but if you're just using yeast, then the entire amount of course will be yeast. He did not send mixing, kneading, oven temperature, or bake time suggestions. Presumably this is innate knowledge for bakers.

I feel like WHB getting delayed due to what I assume would be issues relating to explicit content for KR audiences is really just expected atp I'm ngl. It's a very explicit game for sure based on the teasers alone and they've been pushing the limits as to what can or cannot be accepted by the GP.

The sudden announcements are frustrating though, I agree. Especially since it has been delayed multiple times at this point - add to that the added wrinkle of the refunds for KR players this time due to being unable to release in the region.

Because like, here's the thing. Other games have received censorship for being not as explicit as WHB to release in other regions. You know Girls' Frontline? Yeah, that game was censored for release in CN and KR because some of the injured T-Doll art is quite suggestive. Prettybusy (PB) putting WHB for release in KR when the game isn't even rated 18+ in the Google Play Store is bound for it to be placed under scrutiny, imo.

Like. Think of it this way. I'm a Limbus Company enjoyer and that game discusses very heavy and dark topics. Limbus Company is rated 18+, for fuck's sake.

It was delayed from a December 2022 release to a February 2023 release because the devs, Project Moon (PM) wanted to refine it for a better experience. PM has a very small team the size of a high school class, which includes their merch team. It's a bloody, gory fest, with violence and an entire list of trigger warnings at the start. And while the game isn't perfect on launch by all means (in fact, mobile players got shafted hard because of optimization issues, and people joked playing on mobile is the true difficulty spike), people were satisfied enough with the game and plot to stick by it.

I get wanting to reach a wide audience by placing WHB's age rating at 16+ but at some point you'll have to realize some of your content just isn't fit for younger audiences. AFAIK there wasn't any sort of censorship controversy related to the release of LCB - or if there was it's not quite as significant - and it was safely released in KR as well. Gregor (CV: Choi Han) my beloved.

The main issue here with the delays for WHB is the fact that the explicit content is the game's main marketing point. Like, if a game that minors have access to where the focal point of it isn't the explicit content had to be censored (GFL), what about an explicitly sexual game that allows minors to access it? They were already pushing the limits with Love Unholyc from what I gather reading up on the situation, and that game isn't as explicit as what WHB is shaping up to be.

This just feels like an inevitability at this point.

Regardless, I hope PB works out the issues relatively smoothly, and keep being transparent with the issues they encounter while developing the game. All I'd ask for them is to communicate these developments as reasonably sooner as they can. I understand being scared this game won't release but with the amount of love and care they put into this game, I'd still have cautious optimism that there will no longer be delays.

--"Aesthetically it's GREAT" because they are polar opposites of each other personality wise, but they still manage to be phenomenal together!! To further give you a more illustrative idea of what exactly I mean, in the gfl Discord, we like to compare Josh to a golden retriever and Stef to a black cat. 🖤💛🐈‍⬛🐶

Also in terms of aesthetics, I love seeing Stef be super into clothes/fashion and then Josh is usually out there in hella casual team apparel most of the time 😅

So even though their aesthetics don't match, they don't have to, as they perfectly complement each other as they are!!!

In fact, them not matching while also perfectly complimenting each other is the aesthetic!!!!!!

--"I want to kiss them" simply because they are both cuties ☺️💓 Just a little peck is all I want!! They very much deserve to be majorly loved on, but they can hopefully do that for each other 🤩😉💞

--"They make me unwell", "relationship goals"...I always think about how they talk about each other to the press, especially when the other one isn't there!! They are always hyping each other up and aren't afraid to defend the other while also being so positive in general when speaking about each another!!

Both of these things are big reasons why these two squares apply to how I feel about them. 💙🩵

Meanwhile, here is what red ones mean:

1). "I really need this to be canon"--as "canon" as RPF can get, which to me means that they would actually come out together (and maybe even kiss!!), but of course I know that they don't owe us anything and that their own, private business is just that!!

At the same time, I do think that it would be cool and valid if they did ever decide to formally/officially announce their romantic partnership 🥰

2). "I like it in theory", "I'm open to it"--A lot of RPF is simply ✨theories✨ and ✨vibes✨ so even though Josh and Stef are super obvious all of the time with what they say about each other and also in regards to how they act when around one another, they are still just a theoretical ship overall.

That being said, most ships are theoretical, even the fictional ones that end up being canon fr FR, so yeah--I am (super!!) open to them and am definitely willing to continue to watch their relationship play out!!!

3). "I'd die for them"--because of the things that they say to one another and how they always act!!!!!!! They are so in love with each other that I'm like YEAH, but at the same time, my trifecta of Tom, Rob, and Julian will always be the ultimate "I will go DOWN with this ship" to me.
