Dune would not have killed Glory. He may have been willing to sit by and let Kestrel do it for “the greater good” but if Webs had been any firmer in his reluctance I think Dune would have gone with him and tried to protect Glory. And he was definitely proud of the dod for escaping and relieved that Glory had made it.
