Aya gently held the young Yveltal, gently stroking her. "You're so soft! And...starry?" After doing this for a few more minutes, Aya carefully gave Twilight back to her dad. "Does she like to play any games???" The Ogerpon asked.

(@asktheoger) Aya @ Dusk and Twilight “AWWWWWW!! Hi hi!!” The young Ogerpon runs up to the Suicune and the little Yveltal. “You’re so cute and small!! I’m Aya! What’s your name???”

Dusk chuckled at the child's enthusiasm, lowering his head to allow Aya and Twilight to better see one another, "She's too young to talk, but this here is Twilight, my daughter. My name is Dusk. It's a pleasure to meet you Aya!"

Twilight blinked at the young ogerpon for a moment before shuffling forward slightly, more on her fathers head and exiting his soft fur. She stretched her neck forward and inspected Aya, snuffing softly as she did. Twilight picked up on the scent of sand and salt, along with a lot of earthy scents. Letting out a soft, pleased chirp, Twilight gently bonked her head against Aya's hand in greeting.

"It would be foolish to lie to the Herald of Truth... so I will admit, sometimes, I am both jealous and lonely. I am aware many, nay, most of my kind have the moon at their side. That is not what destiny had written for me, so, I have learned to take it mostly in my stride like the others before me in this world. We are outliers. Perhaps you may speak of the past now to me, as I am willing to listen? It need not be things which are negative either, should you wish to speak of passed loved one's, such things could also do you well. Only if you wish, of course. I mean not to pry."

Let's see...well, there was my mother, Yohualcoatl. She was made of stars I'm sure of it. Long long ago ancient humans would call her "The Great Sky Dragon", and saw her as the origin of all dragons. When she allowed meteors to fall, it became the first Draco Meteor.

Of course she was more than a myth to me, she was my mom! She doted on me and would take me flying into lower space, and I would fly slower on purpose because I liked watching her tail create small meteors. It functioned like a brush, in a way.

My father, Tonalcoatl, is probably the more well known of them. He appeared to the Draconids of Hoenn and stopped the rampage between Groudon and Kyogre-the first documented Mega Evolution for human history. He was called The Great Sun, doing away with the cataclysmic weather the two brought with ease. Of course he answered to Tano as well, being the first sun of the island and ensuring a day and night cycle with my mother.

I remember him being so kind, never losing his temper. He always seemed to know what to do and could think on the fly. He was very worldly and knowledgeable, and easy to approach too. I remember every once in a while seeing a human or two approach him, and he was very careful with them and eased their fears of being in his presence.

All of them-my parents, my siblings who weren't even named yet, Karaya. They all represented some part of the day in some manner, and as long as the sun keeps rising and setting, they're all with me.

That's one thing I learned from humanity-grief comes in different forms and in waves. If they can handle pain like that, and choose to keep going everyday despite it, who's to say that I can't as well?

(@ask-dawnanddusk) "WOW MISS, YOU LOOK REALLY PRETTY!!" Loraifon shouted enthusiastically, excited to see the giant bird. "You're feathers also look super soft! I mean, not as soft as moms, but still really soft! But I'm confused, aren't Ho-oh not supposed to live here? I mean, I think mom told me that there are already three big strong pokemon who live in… Kanto? No, Kalos! Right, Kalos. An I thought they kinda watched over it, right? So what are you doing here?"

Harumi watched the young one excitedly blurt their thoughts at her. She quite enjoyed spending time with children and this little joy was no exception.

"You are very knowledgeable on such a topic. I applaud your insight!" She ruffles Loraifon's fluff with a wing. "To answer your question, yes. There are three big gods that rule over this land. I am here because one of them is sleeping and needs my help so she can get a good rest."

This, obviously, was a very simple way of putting the situation but Harumi did not wish to trouble the child with the dark details.

"What about you? Why are you here?"

I have a question! Why wont you go outside? I know it can be scary going to new places full of people, but me and my ma went to a festival recently and it was really fun! If you want you can ask her about places to go."

“That’s uh…besides the point however! I do hope you and your mother have fun at the festival! Thank you for lending your divine ear my way.”

(@ask-dawnanddusk) Voxgatum@Ryuki "Ah, another Lugia! It has been quite some time since I last saw one of our kind. Out of curiosity, what is the current state of your Johto, and what role do you play within it? With our vastly different forms, I assume that our duties also vary quite a bit."

“Ah hello there! It is a privilege to meet another of my kind, especially one that is a pokémon! Now I can gain an idea of how stunning I might have been in your world!” He chuckles a bit before continuing.

“I’m pleased to state that the current state of Johto is peaceful. I was just monitoring the waters before I noticed everyone here, in fact! It seems like everything is right as rain.” The silver haired man pauses and contemplates the next question presented carefully, before he continues. “As for my duties, well…thats a bit more complex to explain.”

“Both my friend and I protect Johto and Kanto’s skies and seas. This involves providing aid where needed, making sure no threats are present in both regions, and patrolling both areas we guard well. Often tomes we take turns aiding Kanto since we primarily protect Johto. The region has no official guardian so we do our best to provide the care it needs.”

“I also look out for my assistants, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. They can cause more havoc than good often times, but they serve me and provide me information about Kanto as I need.”

(@ask-dawnanddusk) Teeny-tiny hooves clacked on the ground as Loraifon approached the goomy, enthusiastic and unapologetically loud. “Hello mister!!! Your glasses are really shiny and nice! I saw them when you were talking with my mom. Oh, wait, I have a question! I wanna know, how do you make yourself all sparkly? Like, extra-extra sparkly, not like me. I’m starry, not sparkly! But you're so sparkly and it kinda goes ‘poof!’ around you like a cloud. It’s very pretty!”

*When Slime Boi first saw the little Arceus trot along to him, his breath caught in his throat. The excitement. The child-like wonder. It was rather surprising really. It was so familiar. He tried to keep his cool.*

Slime Boi: Oh hey. I, erm, am a shiny Pokémon. Or, I suppose that's what others would consider me as. The sparkles are just a natural part of being shiny. That's the vibe. Gotta have that twinkly feeling, you know? Happens when I appear. It's, erm...well...

*He just couldn't keep that chill vibe that he had. It wasn't possible. As his smile turned to that of a sadder variety, he couldn't help but look away.*

Slime Boi: Someone who used to be so full of joy when he was young. You really do act similar to who he was. Sorry. Could I just shoot a little advice your way?

*It was true. This young Arceus was exactly like how his brother was like as a child. So young and excitable. Wanting to find out everything. Wanting to know all about him. It was overwhelming. He thought he'd be over his brother. It had been billions of years at this point since he was a child. But there was always that tiny piece of him that wanted things to go back to how they were before he allowed Aladar to have his own world. Before disaster struck that drove a rift between the both of them. No, he wasn't his brother anymore. He made that choice when the younger Arceus destroyed everything he loved. His eyes made contact with the green Arceus in front of him.*

Slime Boi: Please, don't ever lose your sense of child-like wonder and excitement. Please. And if you need help with anything, please just ask someone. Don't just feel that you can do everything yourself, ok kid? You've got some wonderful caretakers. Just let them help you if you need it...

*Damn, what was he doing? Giving unsolicited advice to a child? Really bums out the mood. Ruins the vibes. Slime Boi shook his head. He had to get this conversation back on track.*

Slime Boi: Sorry bud. Sometimes someone reminds you of someone and it just makes you feel different vibes. You said about your stars. They're absolutely radical. Like, were you born with them? Hmm, actually a lot of Arceus just pop into existence. Did you come from an egg?

As the Night Goes On...

[A trio of lights emerge from the horizon, their speed blinding as they zip and weave through the glowing waves and through palm trees to shore.]

[They playfully make passes between guests, close calls as their joy becomes a tangible force. At a point they round out together and oversee the festivities, swirling between each other gleefully.]

I myself can give quite a few suggestions, and my dear friends have traveled quite a bit as well. It is always lovely to see the wonders of the world. "Kyu and I were born at the same time, but we didn't really interact until the first time I slept. Then... we met. The connection was established, and we could switch between one another at will. We are very close, so, naturally, when our connection was severed, it was devastating for him."

"Hello Ms!" Loraifon chirped excitedly, tiny hoofs stamping on the ground as he hopped around, taking in the sights of the island again.

"I do a lot of things for fun! I like drawing a lot, and collecting shiny rocks, and hanging out my family and friends! We a play a lot of fun games together back home, and I've also been learning to cook a bunch of tasty stuff!"

"Now that we're here, I'm also excited to see the beach and go swimming! Back home the water is really cold, so swimming is a little hard, but here it's super warm and nice!"

"What about you? Are there any games you like to play?"

(@ask-dawnanddusk) Voxgatum approached the recently-wed couple, a smile on his face, “Hey there, hope you’re enjoying the event! Outa curiosity, was there any specific reason you had for visiting the island? Like, maybe you wanted some advice from our lovely glowing trio, or you just wanted to relax. Personally, I’m here to spend time with my own family, and it’s my first time attending this event. It’s been a real blast!”

Wo tried to stay awake as he answered.

Wo: "We were here last year..."

Oki continued after he saw that Wo was finding it difficult to keep awake.

Oki: "Events like this one let us see so many of our friends again, as well as make new ones! We also wanted to see the Magi again too! So far, we have had lots of well-wishes from everyone after they found out about our marriage, which has been nice~!"

He looked towards where he had last seen Ogerpon and her siblings.

Oki: "We're here with our family too~ Ogerpon and her siblings are away giving apples to those they meet~ If they see you, they'll give you one too!"

I am a maker of stars and galaxies similar to yourself, and I was most curious about your culture and traditions. I have not heard of many others like I within mine own realm, and therefore I wonder how it is you all differ from I. What is your culture like? Does all of your family reside on one planet, or roam the stars, constantly travelling?"

“Father is the King of the Cosmos. He’s in charge of this universe and all the stuff in it. Mommas the Queen but she doesn’t do much ‘ruling’ but I think that’s cause she’d rather do other stuff while father handles it. They both live in the palace offworld.

Father is the one who actually makes the stars I just help by collecting the stuff for it. But when I’m older I’ll get to do it all by myself! Sometimes my cousins help collect stuff too but it’s usually my job.”

”Home planets are really small compared to normal ones, usually just big enough for a couple of houses and they orbit within adult territory. Once you’re an adult your free to choose a new home! It can be somewhere on Earth or a whole new planet.

“Earth is more fun to play on though so we all come here often,” the small mew continues to flip through the pages showing off cousin after cousin as he rambled. He soon slows down, his smile slipping a little as he mumbles, “oh uh sorry for rambling. I probably could have shortened that.”

“What about you?” The mew suddenly asked in return, “I haven’t met a star maker that wasn’t a cosmic from this universe.”
