Hello my lovely! Thanks for caring enough about my silly little words to play along.

🌈- Something I worked really, really hard on. Hmm... Let me think. Honestly, I work hard on everything I post haha. I'm really hard on myself. My standards for my own writing are ridiculously high, so I stress over almost every word I choose for a story. That's why it takes me so freaking long. But I will say, this new series I've been working on (The Viscount Who Loved Me Too Much Part 1 and Part 2) - I have a lot of ground work in that one. Small things that are leading to big things. Important meaning hidden in what seems mundane. It will all make sense when the series comes to a conclusion. I will be interested to get everyone's take once everything is posted and they can do a reread from beginning to end.

💞- The things that make the best stories, in my opinion, are characters and plot. While grammar and world building add a lot, I can still enjoy a story with grammatical mistakes (as long as they aren't glaring). And some of the best stories I have read have a very limited world. It doesn't always need to be grand to have a huge impact.

💝- Hmm, a fic that got a different response than I was expecting. I think maybe His First Muse . The actual written responses to that one blew me away. I LOVE hearing people's thoughts. Obviously, I appreciate likes as well, but when people take the time to comment it's like a shot of heroine haha

Hi there @eleanor-bradstreet - Thanks for indulging my need for attention haha.

🌿- Creating makes me feel. Period. Hard stop. It's a good reminder of what it means to be human. I feel fulfilled and accomplished when I translate an errant thought into a fully fledged story. I feel proud of myself, and aware of my own voice. It helps me to evaluate my emotions and understand what my true viewpoints are on certain matters. It helps me give myself grace. But it also humbles me. Every - Single - Time. There is always room to improve. Self doubt creeps in. Fear. Anxiety. The sense of unworthiness. It makes me tired. It makes me angry. Sometimes I feel so tapped in and connected to others through my writing, and other times I have never felt so alone. In the end, even with all the low points, I love it.

🕯 - Hmmm... Was there a fic that was really hard for me to write? I think I have a few on my docket that have done this to me. One specifically that pertains to some real life events/trauma that I'm trying to flesh out through imaginary characters. I always struggle with the topic because most people don't understand it. I either get ridiculed because someone who doesn't know the depths of my story is trying to be "woke", or people think I'm weird/perverse. If you are interested in the actual context, you can DM me.

🎀 - A kind word about my writing - I would like to think my writing has depth and nuance. I may very well have an over-inflated sense of my skill, but at the very least, those are the qualities that I am striving for in my writing. I also think I am decent at world building.

a bit of a cliché question, but I would love to know what it was like to work with Avery Brooks? I think he's such a fascinating actor, it's a shame he's away from acting these days, I hope he's doing well

TBH, for me Mr. Brooks was intimidating AF. I was a wet-behind-the-ears brat and he was an impressive, amazing actor, so I just called him Mr. Brooks for 5 years and trusted him to bring my words to life however he wanted. Which worked out pretty well if you ask me. I hope he's doing well too. I've worked with a lot of #1's in my career and he remains one of my favorites.
