why did nimnai break up post-engagement?? i know they did and then get back together but i’ve missed the lore on what happened

smiling awesomely at you.. I wrote an entire fic about it if you're interested (it's really long tho. also this link has a smut scene it as well unrelated to break up LOL) basically the TLDR is:

basically: Nimna's inability to have or even want children challenges the core beliefs Magnai built his understanding of relationships on, so they break up, then he has a miserable character growth arc where he eventually learns to see Nimna as a complex person and not a concept of Nhaama and THEN they get married after. Nimna proposes the second time ☺️☺️
