I was waiting for this to happen. @a-dauntless-daffodil knew what they were doing when they created this au!!! You want the spear turning into a kiddo? Let's get this party moving!

Vaggie: Hmmmm-hmmm-hm-hm-hmmmm~ *humming and sharpening spear after the battle* Aw, yeah! That's looking good.

Charlie: Vaggie, are you done fixing up your... spear....?

Vaggie: ....Why did you say it like that?

Charlie: Like what?

Vaggie: Like that? *cuts her hand on the spear's edge* Ah! Fuck!

Charlie: Oh, no! Vaggie, are you okay?! *rushes forward and cuts herself trying to check Vaggie's hand* Son of a bitch! *sucks her finger* Dat's shawp...

Vaggie: Yeah, I know. I just sharpened it.

-Bloods intermingle on the blade and pool into the small circle on the flat side of the steel. A bright light flashes through the room and a cloud of dust poofs in Vaggie's hands-

Vaggie: GAH!!! Fuck! My good eye! *blinks away the temporary blindness* Ugh... Charlie, are you okay?

Charlie: Ugh... Yeah, I'm good. *rubs the light out of her eyes and glances at Vaggie. Her eyes snap open as she sees a little baby with white skin, grey-purple wings, and white hair with blonde highlights* Uh.... Vaggie?

Vaggie: Yeah, babe?

Charlie: *points to the baby in Vaggie's lap* Baby.

Vaggie: Baby? *looks down and nearly jumps* WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A BABY HERE?!?!

Charlie: How should I know?!?!?! And don't swear in front of the baby!!!

Vaggie: What do we do?!

Charlie: I don't know!!! I've never seen a baby in real life!!!

Vaggie: HOW?!?!?!? Doesn't Hell have Hellborns?!?!?!

Charlie: I mean. We DO!!! But they aren't in the PRIDE RING!!! I'm not exactly going around to the other rings to go kiss babies, babe!!!

Spear Baby: *wiggles their head and looks up with pink and red eyes, flashing a two fanged smile as it reaches up with pudgy fists and coos*

Charlie: Awwwww!~ *takes the baby and cradles it in her arms* Who's a little cutie-pie?

Vaggie: I thought you hated that thing?

Charlie: I hated your SPEAR!!! This is a BABY!!!

In a Deltarune au of THIS au, would the "little brother" in the house trousling bones be Papyrus or Wingdings?

Okay this is an old ask and I was gonna answer with some drawings but ...

I DON'T HAVE A DESIGN FOR WINGDINGS THERE!!!! SO!!! I CAN'T...

And in this AU of my AU, the reason why we don't see Papyrus or hear his name is because it's actually still Wingdings lmao

I need to make a design so I can draw some of these ideas but, uh, I'll explain the basics quickly!

So! Wingdings and Sans are still twins, Sans just likes to be annoying and call 'Dings his younger brother (which is something that actually does happen in the main forgettable-au lmao)

They're a bit older (I just generally hc everyone in deltarune is a bit older than their undertale counterparts) and they just moved to hometown from the city! That's were they used to work! Before Wingdings got fired for unnamed reasons! Also, Wingdings is using a fake name "Roman" !

And yeah!

Wingdings and Sans are currently in the middle of a fight? They're not on the best terms, Wingdings didn't want to move to hometown and refuses to get out of the house

Wingdings is not doing great! He has no job, no friends, he just moved out of the city he didn't want to leave, and there's other stuff too!!

Sans isn't doing that great either but he's trying to do okay! He sees hometown as a new opportunity and a he's already making friends with the locals! He's trying to get Wingdings to do that as well, it's not working!

Why would Sans ask Kris to hang out with his brother, a grown man? I DON'T KNOW, BUT LIKE, THAT'S WEIRD EVEN WITH REGULAR PAPYRUS! (I know a lot of people think Paps will be a teenager in deltarune, but idk, that feels weird?? Why would Toby make so many characters older and then Papyrus younger??? It's still a possibility tho... and it would be interesting to see)

You know how in forgettable-au they both still use proper grammar before the incident? That doesn't work here (because Sans in deltarune is clearly using lowercase and I can't just change that), sooooo... they both use constant lowercase!

Or I could just ignore that one theory of uppercase and lowercase and accept it's probably just a stylistic choice....but I won't do that............

And yeah that's basically it! :D

Imagining this au of my au as a thing to happen in game is very funny, because if something like that actually happened I don't think the fandom would ever recover.... just imagine the chaos...

For anyone that might ask this:

Why would the voice at the start of the game react to us naming our character Papyrus if Papyrus isn't in the game?

My explanation for that is: Well, if theories are correct and that voice IS Gaster, he probably knows that we know Papyrus from playing undertale! He's acknowledging that... not the fact that Papyrus is in deltarune...but there might be someone similar we can meet, he knows who we expect

Okay that's it! That's the AU of my AU! I really want to make art for it

But I seriously have no idea how Wingdings would look...

all bot sizes are reflected in their alt mode; bots can only take on alt-mode in their size class, so a bot with a fighter jet or truck alt would be much larger than a bot who turns into a car or a stunt plane. Mass displacement is not a thing in synergized. The size of a bot is always around the size of their alt-mode,

Bot sizes are generally sectioned into size ranges. Standards are not an exact height or weight but a vague general size range that is used as an indication of what size alt-mode they can take on. If a bot says their standard one, it means they could probably easily take on a normal car alts, stunt plane alt, or a smaller boat alt

Some sizes are more common than others. If you round every bot size to the nearest standard sizing, 20% are mini, 40% are standard 1, 25% are standard 2, 10% are standard 3, 4% are standard 4, 0.97% are standard 5, the last 0.03 percent is non-standard cybertronains like shuttles, cassettes and titans

Most bots who get seeker modifications are between standard 3 and 4 but can be as small as a standard mini, though that is extremely rare.

Seekers are just normal cybertronians with heavy modifications that allow them to fly in robot mode, so the same rule applies. they start off life as normal ground bots, so unless stated otherwise, lore for unmodified bots usually applies to seekers

im OBSESSED with you saying Xisuma's fatal flaw would be arrogance, i never would have thought of it and it tickles my lizard brain. could you go into more details about that vibe?

It's a couple things! Granted, I haven't watched Xisuma regularly in about a year, so I've atrophied a bit when it comes to him and his personality. Take what I say with a grain of salt.

I want to note that I don't mean arrogance in the sense that he thinks he's inherently better than people. He tries really hard not to do that -- I've listened to a few of his vods, and a lot of them have to do with deconstructing his worldview, changing assumptions he's made about people and politics, walking back and forth down a line of thought until eventually he settles somewhere on that road.

But during those reconstructions, I noticed they generally came from very heavy assumptions first, things he says with his full chest, and then has to walk back. There is a certain amount of arrogance in assuming you know what you're talking about, when you have only a handful of facts and perspectives at your disposal. This makes the vods interesting. He can talk back and forth with his audience about something he's learning about, and it becomes entertaining watching people discuss with him, and watching his opinion on that thing actively change. But that doesn't change the fact that he tends to start with: "So I saw this thing recently, and I think it's good/bad/morally ambiguous, and here is why."

There is a certain amount of arrogance in assuming you know something correctly automatically.

Which is, actually, my second reason for choosing arrogance. It seems like a lot of Xisuma's "derp" moments, his simple and silly mistakes that he makes when making machines or doing building, etc, stem from moments of arrogance. He assumes he has done something right, doesn't double check it, and then later when it breaks, he figures out something small and simple has gone wrong. Most of the time, this is funny. Look, Xisuma has made a silly mistake again! But sometimes these simple mistakes add hours of frustration, cause complete rebuilds of parts of a structure or machine, or inconvenience other people. It gets harder to justify, then, that little moment of, "No I'm sure it's fine. I won't double check."

There is an amount of arrogance in assuming you know something correctly automatically.

He is very proficient. He is very good at checking himself when the moment strikes him. But he often forgets to make that check, or dismisses the need for that check, only for it to come back for him. And, if we're talking about Fatal Flaws, the idea that there is something you do repeatedly that builds, until eventually it's your undoing, I think it would be those small moments of assumption and arrogance. One day, they come back around.
