But since you asked important questions about politics and propaganda, I think you deserve a more thoughtful answer.

Yes, I care about my ship. I love Hayffie, and nothing will stop me from shipping them because I love them. Whether it's canon or not, whether it's in the books or not, does that even matter? I don't know why people are freaked out by ships. Shipping is fun because they're fictional characters, and it strengthens a fandom. And what if it's not canon? Seriously, you guys wouldn't have survived the ElsaxJackFrost era. It's my life and my account. If I feel like it, I can ship, I don't know, Mags with Beete, and no one can stop me.

That I care more about a ship than the book's message? So what? It's not the first book to address the issue of propaganda. I love dystopian literature. In fact, my favorite dystopian book is Fahrenheit 451, which marked a deep love for books. The world is a shithole and always has been. I don't need anyone to tell me that; I'm living it. I'm Latina, from Peru, to be precise. I could write a lot about how screwed up my country is because of corrupt authorities. I know what it's like to live under propaganda, I hate propaganda, and I live in constant fear that my country will end up in dictatorship again. I don't stop fighting, even though they might kill me, because this government kills protesters, calling them terrorists and communists.

Forgive me for worrying about a fictional ship instead of a message I've already ingrained in my mind after studying, reading, and experiencing it. I really hate the moral superiority the fandom has when it comes to claiming they do care about the message of the work. I'm not saying this about you, anon, but it's annoying to see that kind of criticism directed at people who are just enjoying something. We don't deny the message; we understand it. But I think emphasizing the obvious would be a very poor analysis of what we're being given. One thing that characterizes fandom is overanalyzing even a single sentence because we're unbearable and we like it that way.

Finally, what's stopping Haymitch and Effie from being together after the epilogue? Haymitch is finally healing, and it's a possibility. Until their deaths are confirmed, Hayffie will always be a possibility.

Haymitch is one of my favorite characters, and I find it very sad that he's closing himself off forever, so I'm not going to accept it. He deserves better than to die a depressed alcoholic yearning for a past love. Especially since he was so young—he was 16 when all this happened to him. And Haymitch is only 42—still young to die. In real life, people are attracted to others again; it doesn't mean they don't love their lost love, but they can move on.

I prefer to stick with that take.

It's early in the morning, and you're returning from your morning shower. As you dry your hair with a towel, you feel water droplets trickling down your neck. With your hand on the doorknob of your room, you pause before turning it as you hear a noise coming from inside. It's a conversation. No, it's a fight. Clearly, those two can never get along, and their early morning arguments have become a part of the routine.

You chuckle to yourself when you hear it.

"What are you doing? I already told you not to touch me!" Amisha barks.

"I didn't touch you because I wanted to. You stepped on my tail, so I had to push you away from me," Secret bites back.

"What kind of stupid creature even has a tail?"

"That's rich coming from the brute who literally turns into a tiger… WITH A TAIL!"

"Oh, you piece of…"

Okay, time to interfere. You turn the doorknob and enter. As soon as they see you, Amisha drops the candleholder she was about to throw at Secret, and Secret blows out the fireball she had just conjured.

"Good morning, ladies. I see we're all excited to spend Valentine's together, huh?" you ask, giving them both a knowing smirk.

Secret moves closer to Amisha, wrapping an arm around her shoulder as she growls in response to the physical contact.

"Oh, yes! Me and the kitty here were just talking about how much we enjoy each other's company, right?"

Amisha huffs and unfolds herself from Secret's embrace, walking towards you and grabbing both of your hands with her warm ones.

"Never mind the dumb half-lizard. I'm just happy you're here, and even more so to know that you set aside the whole day for me," Amisha says to you, her affection evident in her words and glowing orange eyes.

"Yes, for you. And for Secret too. You're both my girlfriends. And you both look wonderful today. Now, why don't you two take a break from your rivalry, just for today?" you reply, brushing a stray strand of hair away from her face and giving her a sweet kiss on the temple.

"Ugh, fine. I promise," Amisha says, raising her hand.

"Secret?" you ask, narrowing your eyes at her.

"Yes, my destiny?" she replies mischievously, blinking rapidly with her hands under her chin.

"Will you behave today?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. I always behave."

You shake your head, pointing at the black pillow that was set on fire a few weeks ago during one of the morning fights.

"Alright, ladies. Let's go. We have a wonderful day ahead of us," you offer your hands to both of them. Amisha grabs your left hand, and you hold out your right hand for Secret.

"I… I can't hold your hand like this. I might hurt you…" Secret looks at her own left arm, covered in scales, with big dark claws coming out where her nails should be.

You smile at her, grabbing her scaled hand and intertwining your fingers.

"No, you won't. Come on."

The three of you head out the door and manage to squeeze in all the activities you had planned for the day.

Amisha had organized a walk in the woods, a picnic, and some time to relax and watch the clear blue sky and peaceful white clouds.

Secret found some wild strawberries, and Amisha cooked a delicious sandwich with boar meat, wild herbs, and fresh bread from the kitchens.

You all took a refreshing dive into the waterfall and enjoyed the sunset from the top of a mountain, spending a lot of time stargazing.

The tent you brought turned out to be too small for three people to sleep in, but it didn't matter since you hadn't planned on sleeping that night.

The whole forest became the witness of your love for both Amisha and Secret.

3:23am: 32 on 2023

I had a dream I was in a city. From the surroundings, it looked like it could be midtown of a major city. There seemed to be a party of carnival going on. I see Amisha walking up towards me in a happy successful mood way like she just won something. We find a bench to sit on & start laughing/ cracking jokes like we did. The conversation was not perfectly heard or remembered but there was a change in the conversation about living downtown. She looks at the city. I turn my head away from her to see what she is starring at. When I turn my head back, it’s a different young woman w/ more fairer brown skin like she was mixed w/ two ethnicities. She has short dark hair w/ maybe a hint of color change in it. She has on a believe a black jacket w/ a flannel shirt. Her jeans were blue w/ wholes around the knees. One of her legs was on the bench, still facing the direction of the sky scrapers. I stair at her for a second to take in her presence. As I lock my attention on her, the thought about asking her to be my girlfriend or wife comes to my head. I didn’t say it to her but in my head I remember thinking, I could spent the rest of my life w/ you.

W1 Phenomenology

Today’s session could not have been further stressed about the correlation between reality and consciousness. The duck or the rabbit image exemplified how phenomenology applied to art makes people’s perspectives differ. But not only specifically in art, I think this can be put into our daily lives, where we go through endless decisions and discussions. And probably this is where the concept of debates and controversies are created.

My father likes the philosopher Descartes, and he exposed me to the <Method of Doubts> since I was little. Growing up with him was all about questioning logics and introspections. It was nice to be reminded how powerful the misuse of our minds such as confusion and unconsciousness can be, especially since everything sounded familiar to what my dad had always been teaching me.

* W3 Photography, Still Life Objects - This project specifically required endless try-outs to achieve a specific effect I want. I couldn't realise how impactful the light and background reflections, until I started shooting pictures. Understanding the logic of the power of these small elements, and I make a connection to today's lecture by approaching subjects with multiple point of views.

*Night to Light Festival - One of the most commonly asked questions was 'What if this happens? Or what if this doesn't happen?' and I think that inspired us to explore more lightning techniques. Because the visual effects are created through machines, sometimes there would be clashes between images. Figuring out the best combination of lights was the key to the event.

I have titled my series of photos: “Golden Hour”. Although some may view my pictures as a collection of red items, I actually tried to capture all the emergency-related items around school. I was surprised how these items are so unconscious and unimportant to us until the moment of emergency actually hits and they become one of the first things that we look for. I tried to relate my photos to the given theme; time, by interpreting the importance of it - linking to the common knowledge of the golden hour - that appropriate time usage can actually save more lives.

As a conclusion, I learnt the importance of paying attention to details and perceiving things from various perspectives. Applying this skill to design would bring innovative and powerful artworks.

Trip to MUSSOORRIE

Hello everyone.... I am Amisha, welcome to my new blog " Trip to MUSSOORRIE " .

The day was little rainy. 🌦 My family members decided to visit the kempty waterfall situated in Mussoorie in Uttrakhand ( India).

One of my siblings one who asked me to join in boating. I am very excited 🤗 and replied " Yes " .

All we got ready and search those things which was needed for boating. We carried water bottles, boating jacket etc.

Mussoorie is the most visited hill station in Uttrakhand. The weather of Mussoorie attracts tourists not only from India but all around the world. The mystic air and serene coolness of the place make it the loveliest hill station of Uttrakhand . It is also famous for destination wedding.

There are several ways to reach Mussoorie. It is only 30 km from Dehradun. Being the capital of Uttrakhand, Dehradun is well connected by trains, airways and roads. I went to Mussoorie with my family.

There is no direct bus or train to reach Mussoorie. Hiring one private cab from Haridwar, Uttrakhand for Rs 5,000.

HOW LONG TO VISIT MUSSOORIE

Mussoorie is a small hill station so it takes only 2 days to cover the major sights of the place. I suggest 2-3 days are enough to roam around Mussoorie. You could spend more time to do some adventurous activities which can take your whole day.

Places to visit in Mussoorie :

I will guide you with the five best place to visit in two days. There are many more good places but I consider the best if you are visiting only for 2 days. These places would definitely take your heart away with their stupendous views.

Kempty waterfall and Ropeway

It is a perfect picnic spot for enjoying a gala time. It has milky streams of water falling from 41ft . There are a lot of stairs which lead to the actual spot where the water collects.

The water is extremely cold and can give you chills. Besides it a number of shops are available to provide you swimming clothes, floaters and can safely keep your valuables at lockers for a nominal charge. Nearby to it, there is a ropeway to explore the panorma view of Dehradun- Mussoorie trail and enjoy the elevated lush green Mountains, valleys and terrains. It costs Rs 80/person for such a beautiful ride.

CLOUD'S END

As the name suggest, clouds End is the geographical end of Mussoorie hill station. It is at a distance of 6 km from Mussoorie Mall Road and you can reach there by a local taxi available. It is a peaceful small trek with the breathtaking views of Aglar River Valley. During monsoon, it is often covered with clouds and fog. You can actually feel the picturesque clouds End.

amir’s life had always been straight forward. he was never one for thinking outside of the box, he took things at face value and did all the things that he was supposed to do. he was happy that way, secure in a future that he thought he had. he was also a big believer in taking his time - always walking the long way back from school, never staying up late to finish whatever he had to do. he didn’t have many friends, but he was content in his ways.

it wasn’t until his father died unexpectedly when amir was thirteen that his outlook changed. he’d lived his life so far with limited responsibility - his father had always been stringent in making sure his children were never fully aware of the financial and personal struggles they were having. they were problems reserved for a man and his wife. overnight, the dynamic shifted and amir became the man of the house. his mother distanced herself and became a ghost. 

slow wasn’t an option any more. 

amir adapted to the role quickly, helping his mother with the store they owned and making sure his little sister had everything she needed. when it came time to decide whether or not to go to college, amir was hesitant. that had always been the path he thought he was destined for, but supporting his family as his mother continued to recede deeper into her own sadness? the choice was easy. 

for a while, he did lie about taking community college classes to his mother, but in time she stopped asking, knowing fine well that he was really picking up odd jobs to make ends meet. permanent jobs were difficult to come by. no one seemed keen to hire the young man just because, as he decided to make his leading attribute, he has a pretty good score on the SAT. 

a few years ago, however, he answered an ad for a paediatric clinic in need of an administrative assistant. a few embellished little lies about how he’d love to be a paediatrician some day - and this one stuck. 

although it can’t be said that amir is particularly good at his job, the kids and parents love his quiet charisma just enough for him to be a pretty good asset to the clinic.

Sometimes, Triya suspects that there's a computer embedded in the depths of her brain, just like in those sci-fi movies. On some nights, when she's sitting on the bed and a thunderstorm is gurgling and showering outside of her window, she can even feel that computer—or whatever it is.

Every night, it's a different shape. Or maybe the shape changes with every role she takes on. Despite having used it for so many years, Triya can't tell.

With fingers that don't exist, she separates the wrinkled matter of her brain and feels the plastic or metal shell of the device, she feels its designed contours and there's a grill on one side, and a hole on the other, and a sharp bit here, and a round bit there. It's pleasing to explore, as if she was exploring a new lover's body each night.

Come morning, Triya is in the theatre again, stretching and bending her body, making sure she's as flexible as she can possibly be. Momentarily, she turns the page of the script in front of her, adjusts her glasses, and her lips quiver as she speedily reads the words.

"It's not time yet," she tells herself.

When she's outside or busy, it's hard to feel the computer in her head. It's hard to do anything. The brain becomes opaque and impervious, refusing to let her or anyone in, and hiding the computer that exists within it.

Triya blows air out, imagines emptying her lungs, and she stands up again. One of her fellow actors, a starling named Amisha, walks past her with a smile and sits down at before a mirror lined with lightbulbs. Triya picks up her copy of the script and tries to imagine the scenes in it.

A law firm. Romance. Passion. A love triangle. Family. Troubles. Trauma.

The words do not lend to imagination for her. She closes her eyes a second time and tries to picture how the scene will look, how she will look, but she fails.

"I don't want to—" she thinks.

Amisha slaps her shoulder. "You ready, babe?"

"Yeah." Triya laughs, barely looking at her colleague.

"You get stressed way too much. You're a good actor. Own your talent, girl."

"Yeah." Triya laughs again. "Thanks for the advice."

Amisha smirks, as if Triya was being sarcastic, and she heads out.

"Can I do that?" Triya asks herself. "Can I own my talent?"

Already, she is exercising the muscles that aren't muscles, feeling with the fingers that are not fingers, fiddling for buttons that are not buttons. She opens a water bottle's cap and goes for a few drops. She ends up drinking swallow after swallow, eyes clenched shut like she's drinking vodka.

"You shouldn't drink too much before a show," she tells herself. "Why are you making it so hard for yourself?"

"No," she tells herself. "Not myself."

Triya lets the empty water bottle slip from her hands and roll on the floor, spilling scant drops from its mouth as it goes.

And then, she enables the computer in her brain.

And then, Triya is on standby, and a character has come alive.

Amisha's eyes widens, her cheeks turning a shade of crimson. A mix of confusion and fear overwhelms her, as she yearns to express herself and finally achieve what she had been fervently dreaming of. "I-Oh… I'm sorry, but, um, I'm actually kind of happy to hear that. I've always felt the same way. Do you…? Nevermind, you're drunk. Let's get you to bed, and we can discuss this again tomorrow. Or maybe never."

Veleena feels a strange mix of happiness and confusion welling up inside her. She have this inexplicable urge to reach out and touch Slayer's face, to lock eyes with them and search for… something. But she doesn't fall for the temptation. "You're clearly intoxicated," she said, trying to sound stern. "I think it's best if you go to bed now, before I accidentally touch you again."

Khalid clears his throat and takes a step back from the Slayer. "I have no idea what you're talking about, plebeian. I never intentionally touch you. It would be best for you to rest before you embarrass yourself any further," he says, his words harsh and cold, though his voice lacks its usual sharpness. Each time he looks at the Slayer, his heart grows softer.

"Obviously, because I'm hot, and so are you," Veldon playfully winks at the intoxicated Slayer. "Don't worry, I feel the same way. But I have standards and ethics, believe it or not, so I won't act on it at the moment. And rest assured, I won't disclose your infatuation with me, darling." He smiles, but deep down, he yearns for Slayer to desire his heart more than his body.

Kaellë raises her eyebrow, prepared to elucidate the scientific rationale behind the sensation. "This is your body's way of telling you that it enjoys this sensation. Our bodies have numerous nerves and are receptive to various sensations. It just happens that both your body and brain appreciate this feeling. And as for me…" she trails off, a sad sigh escaping her lips. "Perhaps it's only the alcohol speaking on your behalf, isn't it?"

Mauthak laughs, happily upon hearing the new information. He places his large hand on the Slayer's shoulder, tracing the muscles with his thumb. "So, you want me, huh? You should have told me earlier. Now I'll have to wait until tomorrow to take you to my tent. But that's alright, I can be patient. Just remember, tomorrow is the day."

Secret smiles at the Slayer, their eyes filled with both desire and fondness. "That's just how your soul tells your body that it wants to be with mine, so we can be together as we should," Secret gently took the Slayer's hand from her. "I love you too, my soul."

Everything You Need to Know About the Instagram “Copyright Infringement” Scam

During the last couple of weeks, many people (which includes celebrities) have fallen prey to a scam called “Instagram Copyright Infringement.” The fraudsters have been impersonating Instagram Help Centre officials and getting their hands on personal user information. The most recent celebrity who has fallen prey to this scam and thus lost access to her account is actor Amisha Patel.

HOW DOES THIS INSTAGRAM COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT SCAM WORK?

Apart from the recent victim Amisha Patel, numerous other celebrities, including Urmila Matondkar and Asha Bhosle, got a message on their Instagram account from a verified profile generally named “Help Center” claiming that he/she is linked to the Instagram Copyright Infringement Center.

The message received said that they (posing as Help Center) had received a lot of complaints regarding their (the receiver’s) Instagram account for a long time now, and thus they wanted to inform the user about this issue. The message further read that before the user temporarily disables his/her account, some of the posts they have published on their account breaches the platform’s community guidelines. If the user believes that this copyright infringement statement is not valid, he/she should give immediate feedback – failing to do so; their social media account will be deleted from Instagram permanently within the next 72 hours.

At the end of this message, a copyright appeal form was attached in the form of a link, which in reality was a phishing link, asking the message receiver to enter information such as their account password, date of birth, and so on.

WHAT IS A PHISHING LINK?

A phishing link is a link made by scammers who mislead people into believing that they are actually filling in their personal information on a secure website, in this case – the Instagram Help Centre, but in reality, those entered details go directly to the fraudster.

Amisha's father called us in December last year.

Maybe it was Amisha's father's gratitude at that marginal help. We usually have people pleading with us for more and more and more. But here was this person thanking us for the little that we did.

Or maybe it was the fact that she lost her mother so young. I can't imagine my life without mine and I can't imagine my son's life without me.

Her father's words are still echoing in my ears, "अगर मैं टूट गया तो बिटिया का क्या होगा। एक ही तो बच्चा है हमारा।" This is a man who is yet to grieve over his wife. He thought she'd come back. But thats a story for another time.

I kinda made her look like kylie Jenner accidentally but eh. She’s easygoing but she absolutely hates Any discrimination towards any sort of being. She likes to call herself a freedom fighter. In her past she was a well known author but she had a an abusive husband named Michel who used to tell her so wasn’t worth anything. At one point even threw a plate at her, cutting her cheek just below her eye. ‘Unfortunately’ Michel died when the bombs dropped.

Ariel (fallout 4): the second fallout character I made. Red shoulder length hair, green eyes, a bit of freckles. She’s basically a Mary Sue due to her looks. She grew up in the commonwealth with her mother who worked with the minutemen. Her mother taught her how to build settlements, and new homes for people who need them. When she died, Ariel continued her legacy.

Amisha: (face claim: Crystal Reed) shes just a lesbian asshole. She’s pretty edgy though.

Anaka: a spoopy ghost.

Cecilia: a creepy friggin 12 year old girl who lives in a cottage in the woods with her dead cat.

Charlotte: I made this one when I was obsessed with anime. She has green hair and big blue eyes. She’s just the typical whiny-ass anime girl.

Ellie: heh, when I was obsessed with supernatural I made Ellie Winchester, sam and dean’s 19 year old half sister. A badass hunter. Or that’s what I thought when I made her, now she’s just hilariously edgy.

Elisha: my first fully developed oc. Elisha ruby is a 17 year old scottish red head werecoyote who was kidnapped as a child by a notorious gang who forced her to clean the house they lived in.
