obsessed with the wispy intro to scars (and consequently the intro to the album itself) and then the way that everything cuts out at the end, it hits SO hard

and then that one singular random violin(?) sting into the second half of the song? don't know what up with that but I'm a fan

admittedly I haven't loved the mixing for this new era of songs so far (its acceptable but I have some critiques) but I'm still so happy to have this proper recording. I went to a concert when they were touring almost a year ago now and scars was my favorite of the not-yet-released songs when I first heard it

YES!!! it's really cool and it was nice to have a surprise in the studio version

yeah!!! it's not exactly random because there's little bites of violin through the rest of the song from that point. i think of it as the violin's dramatic entrance. also i am the #17 crane wives violin fan and i keep replaying that beat before the third verse with the sting. it's just. they took a song i already loved and added violin. i'm not well.

ghosty i have to be honest. i don't know shit about music. i don't know what mixing is. i mean, i looked it up a minute ago but i'm still not sure and it's definitely not something i was aware of listening to the songs. i'm curious what your critiques are though!

they played scars at my concert too :) it was amazing

i just realized you said scars' intro was the album's intro too and aah you're right!! i didn't think about that and it's a cool insight into how the unplayed songs might sound!

if im being honest....i thought they were married and got divorced at first 😓 but sometimes Dazai-san rants about how "bad" Chuuya-san is and it can last for HOURS...

personallyyy...im fine with it!! i just find it akward that Dazai-san tries to make me and Akutagawa this...shin soukoku..? i think thats what he called it...

one time he pared me up with @rashoumonaku and left us in a bedroom but watched us from the window..😓

⬆️ THIS IS MR. ORANGE !!! i made the gif myself :) he’s the noise’s twin brother! he’s the counterpart to mr. green (from yo! noid) and i love him a looot… like an absurd amount a lot… (info under cut)

he has some tidbits about him on the pizza tower wiki, like he was raised in australia and has an australian accent! he and the noise were separated at birth, and (HOPEFULLY) he’s meant to be the stand-in boss for noise’s boss fight for when you enter the boss as the noise. (i’m still fingers crossed to this day abt this btw I NEED HIM IN THE GAME YOU DONT UNDERSTAND)

another fact that i love dearly about him is that before the noise was planned to be a playable character, mr. orange was going to be peppino’s co-op partner! he had a mix of noise’s old moveset and peppino’s.

i think he’s soooo cool :3 i think everyone should talk about mr. orange more actually :3 he’s sooo sillay
