Yuri HanaNene Headcanons

• Since I headcanon Boy!Hanako as transmasc I like to think Girl!Hanako would be transfem (it’s me, ofc I have to make all my headcanons as queer as possible)

• I also headcanon Nene as transfem so they’re still t4t in the Yuri HanaNene Universe (YHU)™️

• Hanako being a girl would definitely add a layer of complications to Nene’s feelings for her. She wouldn’t be thinking abt it in the heteronormative way of “he’s a boy so he probably likes me so I should give him a chance.” More likely she’d be freaking out at the idea of Hanako liking her because if she likes her back then that means something deeper for her personal identity

• Meaning that the Confession Tree chapter would center more around Nene having a sexuality crisis. She may have had some idea that she liked girls before, but now she’s having to seriously consider her identity and that’s scary for her (maybe Aoi’s advice to her is a bit more meaningful and we get some earlier hints that Aoi is also hiding parts of herself)

• But by the time she meets Hanako under the Confession Tree, she’s starting to wonder what it might be like to date a girl. It sounds intimidating, but also kind of nice. And just as she starts to open herself up to it, the confession turns out to be part of a scheme

• After 65 years Hanako has probably figured out her own sexuality, and since she had to repress that part of herself when she was alive (due to it being the 60s and all), she’s totally girl crazy and v much like the overly flirty Hanako we know in canon

• Nene already has enough reason to be secretive about her crush on Hanako due to her being a ghost but a girl as well?? There’s a lot riding on it

• That could give her something to connect with Kou over rather than his romance subplot being very separate from the rest of the cast and almost secretive. They both know about each other’s crushes and tease each other accordingly

• Imo Kou and Hanako would definitely still be just friends (girl or boy Hanako isn’t Kou’s type lol) but they’d still have those slightly flirty moments that they have in canon. Bicons

• Nene would initially be shocked that Hanako is so open about her interest in women, but that would eventually inspire her to accept her own sexuality

• True to the ASHK chapter, Nene would absolutely love giving Hanako makeovers. She does her hair up in different styles and lets her borrow her clothes

• Hanako’s defensive behavior whenever a man gets too close to Nene is more out of overprotectiveness than jealousy (tho that air of possessiveness is most definitely still there lol)

• In addition to writing poetry, Nene makes playlists about her crush on Hanako (wlw canon event)

• Nene tries to get Hanako to engage in “girl talk” abt their crushes but it always ends in Hanako flirting with her (cue a lot of blushing and “you’re not my type”)

• Since Nene is more affectionate with women I don’t think she’d mind Hanako’s clinginess as much

• In general Nene is a total girls girl and befriends women very easily so I think her and Hanako would get along better at first, but they’d still have that teasing nature of Nene bullying her that’s true to canon HanaNene (and every TBHK ship lol)

• I think their dynamic would be similar to Rae and Claire from I’m In Love With The Villainess. Hanako is very flirty at first and Nene thinks it’s just a joke, and at a certain point she’s just confused because she doesn’t think she’s lovable so Hanako must be joking. That would only be at the start of the manga tho, as I mentioned before the Confession Tree is a major turning point

• I could see Nene being very overprotective of Hanako in an “I’m the only one who’s allowed to talk shit about her” way

• Nene is bi with a preference for boys and Hanako is bi with a preference for girls. bi4bi t4t girlfriends

• At some point during the story they start sharing hair clips and regularly get into arguments over who lost one of them

• While Nene doesn’t initiate physical affection as much as Hanako, she does cling to her and hold her hands a lot more

• Matching hairstyles and outfits ofc

• Nene buys extra snacks/candies at lunch to share with Hanako after school

• Their feelings for each other are less obvious to others at first since they’re both girls but once they really fall for each other it’s impossible to mistake their relationship for friendship

• Picnic dates on the school roof

• Sometimes they slow dance when Nene has finished cleaning the bathrooms (Hanako’s not too good with romance so she takes these opportunities to make things magical for Nene)

Sure!

Ronan is the current king of the Ash Court!

His family is the House of Blue Jays, the reigning family ever since the kingdom once was founded by Ashking Cathan.

He also happens to be Cameron’s father and (okay this is sort of a reveal here but I already hinted on it so often so I’m gonna tell you anyway) Henry’s grandfather.

Ronan is not really a big fan of his son, nor would he approve of his son being a knight of the alder (if he knew about it that is).

Since he doesn’t really play a role in the actual plot he’s not really that developed, but I think that he’s a very strict yet fair king. He’s sportive and a good fighter.

When he was young, he was a well respected wrestler, but he’s also a passionate horseman and hunter. And what seems a bit unlikely for such a strong guy is that he also really likes music and poetry.

He has several children, his favorite being his eldest daughter and heir. As a father, just like as a king, he’s strict but kind. He just tends to give his favorite kids more attention then those he doesn’t like that much.

And yeah, that’s about it ^^

Shakeel Badayuni

Shakeel Badayuni  (August 3, 1916 – April 20, 1970) was an Indian Urdu poet, lyricist and songwriter in Hindi films

Early life

Shakeel Badayuni was born in Badayun, Uttar Pradesh.[4] His father, Mohammed Jamaal Ahmed Sokhta Qadiri, wanted him to have a good career, thus he arranged Arabic, Urdu, Persian, and Hindi tuition for Shakeel at home. His inclination towards poetry was not hereditary like other shayars.[5] One of his distant relatives, Zia-ul-Qadiri Badayuni, was a religious shayar. Shakeel was influenced by him and the contemporary environment of Badayun led him to Sher-o-Shayari.[6]When he joined Aligarh Muslim University in 1936, he started participating in inter-college, inter-university mushairas and won frequently. In 1940, he married Salma, who was his distant relative and had been living in a common house with him since childhood, however, the purdah system was vogue in their family and they were not close. After completing his B.A., he moved to Delhi as a supply officer, but continued participating in mushairas, earning fame nation-wide. Those were the days of shayars who wrote about the downtrodden sections of society, their upliftment, the betterment of society and all. But Shakeel had an altogether different taste - his poetry was romantic and close to the heart.[6] Shakeel used to say:

During Aligarh days, Shakeel Badauni started getting lessons of Urdu poetry from Hakim Abdul Waheed 'Ashk' Bijnori.

Career

Shakeel moved to Bombay in 1944 to write songs for films. He met film producer, A.R. Kardar and music composer, Naushad Ali who asked him to sum up his poetic skills in one line. Shakeel wrote, Hum dard Ka Afsana Duniya Ko Suna Denge, Har Dil Main Mohabbat Ki Ek aag Laga Daingay. Naushad immediately signed him for Kardar's film, Dard (1947). The songs of Dard proved to be very successful especially Uma Devi (Tun Tun)'s Afsana Likh Rahi Hoon. Only a few are so lucky that they attain success in their first film, but Shakeel deserved success which started with Dard and continued on over the years.[6]Together, he and Naushad became one of the most sought after composer/lyricist duos in the industry.

 Among the scores they churned out together, are those of Baiju Bawra (1952), Mother India (1957), and Mughal-e-Azam (1960), that stand out. Other films they scored together include Dulari (1949), Shabab (1954), Ganga Jamuna (1961), and Mere Mehboob (1963). Although Shakeel Badayuni worked most extensively with Naushad, he also collaborated with Ravi and Hemant Kumar as well. His lyrics for the song Husnwale Tera Jawab Nahin and Ravi's music both won Filmfare Awards for the hit film Gharana. His other notable film with Ravi is Chaudhvin Ka Chand (1960), while Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962) is his biggest hit with Hemant Kumar. The title song from Chaudhvin Ka Chand, rendered by Mohammed Rafi, won Badayuni the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist in 1961.

Shakeel penned numbers for around 89 films. In addition, he wrote many popular ghazals which are still sung by vocalists like Pankaj Udhas and others. The Indian government had honoured him with the title Geet Kar-e-Azam.

Association with Naushad

Shakeel shared a close friendship with Naushad, Ravi and Ghulam Mohammed, with whom he enjoyed his life to the fullest. Naushad used Shakeel as the lyricist for his tunes for most of his films for a period of 20 years. Baiju Bawra, which was a milestone in both of their careers, was supposed to go to Kavi Pradeep. Vijay Bhatt, the director of the movie was insistent of using Kavi Pradeep as lyricist since the film was supposed to have many devotional songs. Naushad requested Vijay Bhatt to hear the lyrics written by Shakeel. Vijay Bhatt agreed and the rest was history.[6]

When Shakeel Badayuni was diagnosed with TB , he was put up in a sanitorium in Panchgani for treatment.Naushad knowing that his financial condition was not well took 3 films to him and got him a payment of nearly 10 times more than his normal fees.

Association with Ravi

Shakeel also wrote a substantial chunk of his songs for music director Ravi Sharma. Prominent amongst those were Gharana, Ghunghat and Grihasti as well as Phool Aur Patthar, Chaudhvin Ka Chand and Do Badan.[6]

Association with Hemant Kumar

Shakeel wrote for Hemant Kumar for movies like Bees Saal Baad, Sahib Bibi Aur Gulam, Bin Badal Barsaat.[6]

Association with S.D.Burman

Shakeel penned lyrics for the tunes of S D Burman for movies Kaise Kahoon & Benazir.[6]

Personal life

Shakeel Badayuni succumbed to diabetes complications at the age of fifty-three on 20 April 1970,at Bombay Hospital leaving behind his wife, a son and a daughter. His friends Ahmed Zakaria and Rangoonwala formed a trust called Yaad-e-Shakeel after his death and this trust is now the source of some income to his bereaved family.[6]Shakeel loved to play badminton, go on picnics and hunting trips and fly kites with his friends from the industry, Naushad and Mohammed Rafi. Sometimes Johny Walker would join them in kite-flying competitions. Dilip Kumar, writers Wajahat Mirza, Khumar Barabankhvi and Azam Bajatpuri were among Shakeel’s other close friends within the industry.[.[1][2][3]
