do you guys ever get too scared to post ocs because you’re worried that their design or story isn’t cool enough

And then someone posts their OC/sona that looks super similar to your OC, even though you’ve technically made yours first

And now you’re scared of posting them because you’re afraid someone is gonna try and compare the two, because someone will always do that if they look similar enough

Do you guys ever feel that way or am I just really really stupid

Heyyy I've been thinking about Banana Fish lately and I think I see similarities (in a very hc way) between Ahs and Huey from your au and although it may be exaggerated I can't help but notice certain similarities

Now that I think about it, they do have a lot of similarities. I never noticed it, but you're right. There are a lot of things that happened to them that are very similar, like maybe a little bit of ash backstory and also somethings that happened to him when he's older, not everything but some things (I also didn't finish banana fish, definitely need to do it someday so there maybe be even more things that are similiar to huey that I don't know about)

WIP Game

Rules: you will be given a word. Then you share one sentence/excerpt from your wip(s) that starts with each letter of your word!

The word was MUSHY. All lines are from a University AU for It (2017 & 2019) that I'm cowriting with a close friend irl, as it's one of my most robust WIPs at the moment. While a few descriptive lines fit, I mostly picked dialog because I found it more interesting (especially out of context lol).

M: "Man, I thought I looked like shit.” Richie points to Bill with his fork and asks, “He realizes furniture isn’t edible, right?”

U: Unfortunately, Eddie decides to snipe at him before Bev can say something sweet.

S: Somewhere behind Bill, Ben poorly whispers, “Is he… concussed?”

H: “HEY, WAIT A MINUTE—“

Y: “You guys are gonna be on my side when I tell him I carried him, right?”
