NAKSHATRAS AS GODDESSES
1/27
🐎ASHWINI🐎
DISCLAIMER: This is based solely on my research and the patterns that I saw. I can't promise that I'm gonna be sure in all the coorelations, but I'm going to attribute each nakshatra a goddess that I think fits it the closest. If you're dissapointed, to make up for it, I'm going to list some other deities in the end that I think also fit the nakshatra. Don't come for me if you think I'm wrong, be respectful in the comments if you think so and have fun 🤍
While researching, at first it was obvious that no deity was as perfect for Ashwini as Ashwini Kumaras themselves. I still tried to search for a Goddess that would be most similar to this nakshatra's energies and I kid you not, I've found the exact goddess I was looking for. Definitely was not expecting this.
Saule
Pronounced "sow-lay"
Tumblr media
Pantheon: Lithuanian
Name meaning: The sun
Main associations: The Sun, fertility, healing, helping women and children, red apple, gold.
Symbols: The Sun, apples, colors gold and red.
The Baltic people believed the Sun to be a disc, dancing and rolling around. Saule is the literal representation of the sun, who, not unlike the Greek god Helios, rides a chariot pulled by two horses. The horses are mostly described as white and sometimes golden, and they're called, believe it or not, the Asviniai. It seems that the word has an Indo-European root.
Tumblr media
The deities assigned to Ashwini are Ashwini Kumaras_twin horsemen, depicted as young, healthy and handsome men who can heal people.
Tumblr media
Like their power, Saule is associated with healing, regeneration and also fertility. She rides in her copper-wheeled carriage with her trusted horses, flying through the sky every day, bringing light and warmth to Earth. In regards to her appearance, she's frequently depicted with long golden hair, as well as being associated with gold and amber in general. She's described as being dressed in golden silk. Being the goddess of health and vitality, she had horses that would never tire nor sweat.
At night Saule would bathe her horses and go to the underworld. She was married to the moon god Menesis. Their first child was Earth, then followed other children: the Stars. It's said that her husband was very carefree, sometimes sneaking out of their castle in his moon carriage, thus leaving the world to darkness. Despite having a husband, ultimately, Saule is a sovereign and independent goddess.
As the setting sun, Saule is known as the falling red apple, a ring or a crown. She's strongly associated with the color red, and also apples and apple trees. Other plants associated with her are daisies, sunflowers, roses and linden.
Saule is honored every year at summer solstice.
Tumblr media
I want to talk a little about why I coorelated her to Ashwini but first, I'll talk about the goddess extremely similar to her- Norse goddess Sol/ Sunna. She's also associated with the sun, healing, regeneration and has a chariot pulled by two horses, one of which is called Allsvinn (very fast), the other is called Arvak (early rising). Also, one of her many names literally means "Gold".
I think the association of these goddesses with Ashwini kumaras is clear, but I chose the Baltic goddess saule as to me the Baltic culture is more similar to Ashwini's energies than the Norse (You'll definitely see Norse goddesses in this series tho). Baltic people also have gods which are basically their equivalent of Ashwini Kumaras, twin horsemen gods called Ašvieniai. It's crazy to me that two cultures that you wouldn't think have anything in common basically share a deity.
Other deities that can be associated with Ashwini other than Saule:
Sunna- Norse goddess of the Sun, healing and fertility.
Ašvieniai- Baltic twin horsemen gods who have a gift of healing
Rhiannon- Celtic goddess known as "The Horse Queen", goddess of movement, leadership, the night, the moon and death.
Epona- Celtic goddess most strongly linked to horses (and you can tell by her name)
That's it for Ashwini🤍❤ I love my horse- people😅🤍 I genuinely do, there's no one like you guys, you are very healing and refreshing to be around. Keep going 🐎🐎
Don't forget to comment if u liked this or you can interact in any way .

I notice how Sidereal Aries (Ashwini, Bharani and sometimes Krittika) women don't like to be trapped in a power dynamic relationship. They're less likely to date men older than them because they feel open to manipulation that way, or feel unsafe around men of higher status that may abuse power over them. You'll see them dating people on 'their level' if not a slightly higher level. Although there will always be exceptions of course, especially if there's any kind Saturn influence. But this is what I've seen. This can apply to those with Mars Atmakaraka or dominant Mars. You don't want someone above you pressing on you in a vulnerable/intimate relationship.

Chitra rising indicates creativity, motivation, intelligence. It shows you integrate yourself well in society, you are aware of how you look even though Ardra Moon makes you act like a rebel sometimes.

Random Astro Observations 💅🤓
I always used to do specific topics, this is my first random observation post where I compiled my notes from specific topics. Hope u have a good read! YAYYY THIS IS MY FIRST ASTRO OBSERVATION POST AND I'M EXCITED!!! ☺
(These are based on Sidereal, whole sign system based charts and all the observations are subject to change with other aspects in the chart, so don't conclude anything with one placement) ❤
1. Ascendant Lord is in Jyeshta, Revati or Ashlesha nakshatra- These ppl have utmost self-confidence and determination. It's hard to break their will. No matter how hard life gets, they have the tendency to get up right back and continue with their day like nothing happened.😎
2. 6H ruler in Ascendant - You find yourself surrounded by enemies or ppl who wish for your downfall even if you did nothing to trigger them and you're just doing your own work. This placement attracts enemies. 🤧
3. Ascendant ruler in 6H- You are the one MAKING enemies lol. You can be prone to picking up fights or rubbing ppl off the wrong way and earn a handful of non-well wishers in your life.😶
4. 3H and 4H lord in conjunction - You could've moved to a different city during childhood or at least a different house in the same city. 🏡
5. Venus in Leo in Man's chart- Your wife could be bold, shares your burden and solves it especially career oriented or financial troubles BUT can be prone to frequent health issues and weak eyesight
6. 5H lord aspected by Sun/Jupiter- You definitely believe a lot in starting new endeavors after visiting your favorite deity or a specific religious place. You could develop this into a strict habit.✨
7. Placements that makes one an amazing astrologer - Ascendant in Mercury ruled stars, Ketu in 3/6/10/11H, Ketu aspected by Jupiter/Mercury.🤓
8. Ketu-Mercury conjunction - Very knowledgeable in astrology and one of the auspicious placements to begin a career in astrology.⚡
9. DO NOT buy land or any properties in your business partner's name ALONE, if mars is in 6/8/12H when counted from your 7H lord's position. (It doesn't matter if ur business partner is ur family member or a good friend, just don't, u will end up losing everything or never gain anything)💀
10. Mercury or Jupiter in conjunction with Rahu/Ketu/Saturn- Take care of legal documentation files and procedures, PERIOD.🤥
11. Work in Healthcare or Doctors- Sun in Ashwini, Sun/Mars/Saturn/10H ruler in Ketu ruled stars, Scorpio house aspected by Jupiter/Mercury/Moon and Ketu in Scorpio.💊💉
12. If you have any of the mentioned placements below, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE WORDS YOU SAY! I mean, your mouth is y'all's problem tbh 😭 Refrain saying irrelevant things or giving instructions or advice in public setting, you gonna end up in unwanted trouble for ✨speaking✨
Saturn in 2H or Saturn aspecting 2H
Planets in 2H sitting in Saturn ruled stars
Air risings (As they have Saturn ruled stars in their 2H)
Mars in 2H
2H lord in conjunction with saturn and sits in 6/8/12H
8H lord in 2H or vice versa
13. If 4H lord is placed in 7-12 houses, get out of your hometown and you can have a peaceful, amazing and ideal lifestyle. If you have this placement, don't be in your hometown, it restricts your growth and gives a sense of dissatisfied life.😌
14. Rahu/Ketu/Sun/Saturn in 6H- Wins over enemies. FLEX 💅
15. Jupiter -Moon conjunction and Moon-Mars conjunction ---> Your family deity or your favorite God or just a divine power ALWAYS looks over you. You can see miraculous things happening when you pray or have God related or spiritual dreams. 🤩

A Basic Guide to Vedic Astrology
I think many of you are new to Vedic astrology, so I thought I'd give a little intro to some of the concepts, terminology etc
First and foremost, Vedic astrology dates back to 5000 BC - 10,000BC, which means it only takes into account Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the 2 nodes of the Moon, Rahu & Ketu along with your Ascendant. Outer planets like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto along with asteroids are NOT calculated as most of them were discovered only in the last 2-3 centuries.
A conjunction takes place when two planets are placed in the same nakshatra within 5 degrees of each other. Even if they are placed more than 5 degrees apart, so long as they are in the same nakshatra, they can to some extent be considered as conjunct (the effect will be less potent than an exact conjunction basically) BUT if you have Sun in Ashwini and Venus in Bharani, you DO NOT have Sun conjunct Venus in Aries, that is NOT how it works. Those two nakshatras have entirely different themes, mythologies, purposes, deities, planetary influences and lessons, how on earth can they be considered "conjunct"???
That said, wherever you have a conjunction in your chart will have a major influence on you. It is a very potent energy. Dont ask me if having Saturn conjunct Ketu in Ashwini makes you a Saturnian or a Ketuvian because that's not the point, its that those two planets have a specific relationship with each other in your context and to understand the functioning of one, you must look at the other (along with its placement, aspects etc etc)
There are 12 rashis, corresponding to zodiac signs and each rashi is divided into 2 or more lunar mansions called "nakshatras". If you've wondered why say Arieses all act so different, its because they're either UBPs or Revatis in their Vedic chart, contributing to vastly different personalities.
In Vedic astrology, we have the concept of 7 charakarakas all of which indicate a different purpose:
Atmakaraka aka the soul indicator. it is the planet at the highest degree and represents your soul/being. its your compass and points towards the calling of your soul
2. Amatyakaraka, it typically points to your career/profession and works alongside your atmakaraka. it is the planet at the second highest degree
3. Bhratrukaraka (planet at 3rd highest degree) points to relationships with siblings
4. Matrukaraka ( planet at fourth-highest degree in your chart) signifies your relationship with your mother or maternal figures. It represents the nurturing qualities within you and helps illuminate your connection to your mother or motherly figures in your life.
5. Putrakaraka (planet with the fifth-highest degree in your chart) reveals your approach to parenting and your potential for creativity. It provides insights into your connection with your children and your capacity for artistic expression.
6. Gnatikaraka (the planet with the sixth-highest degree in your chart) indicates obstacles and adversaries in your life. It reflects your ability to overcome challenges and confrontations, making it a valuable guide for navigating life’s hurdles.
7. Darakaraka (the planet at the lowest degree) it is associated with your spouse and romantic relationships. It uncovers the qualities you seek in a partner and offers insights into how you relate to your significant other. Understanding the Darakaraka can provide clarity on your love life and partnerships.
HOW TO STUDY NAKSHATRAS:
Read about the mythology behind your nakshatras. This helps shed light on its nature.
Look at your nakshatra's yoni consort. Read about what the yoni animal symbolically represents
Similarly, read about your nakshatra's deity, ruling planet, other naks under the same planetary influence etc
There are 4 purusharthas (aka motivations) in vedic astrology according to which nakshatras are classified. understanding the different classifications behind each nak helps us understand its nature better
Tumblr media
similarly naks can also be classified by their ganas which describe the nature of these naks:
Deva = godly, Manushya = humane, Rakshasa = demonic
if you have a rakshasa gana nak, it does not mean you're a demon. it just points towards traits like selfishness, lack of generosity etc AND the person you are is sum of your whole chart, not just the gana of one nak, so don't beat yourself up
Tumblr media
Naks are also classified on the basis of their qualities of which there are 7
Tumblr media
they can also be classified on the basis of caste:
Tumblr media
(all tables, pyramid etc by me so any mistake is mine oopsies)
4. Chart Ruler
The ruling planet of your ascendant sign is your lagna lord. If you're Mrigashira Rising, then your lagna lord is Mercury/Venus (based on whether your nak falls into the Taurus portion or the Gemini portion).
5. Navamsa or D9 chart
Look at your D9 after you've studied your D1 otherwise it'll feel like too much info you don't fully understand. Navamsa is consulted along with your D1/Birth chart. you can think of it as D1 promises certain things and D9 is if/how those things materialise. its like part 1 and part 2 of a story
I can't think of anything else that should be covered🤡but if you have doubts you can ask!!
I hope this was helpful!!

Astro Observations
Tumblr media
Part 10 I think ! I lost count 😂
1. You’ll notice many astrologers w Saturn prominent in the chart. Saturn represents time, and astrology is the keeping of time.
2. People obsessed w astrology have a strong connection w the 8th house in their chart. Especially Jupiter, rahu, ketu, saturn, mars or their Atmakaraka in the 8th house.
3. Krittika is connected to farming and agriculture , especially the Aries portion of it.
4. Opposition Nakshatras experience similar themes
5. For example Ashlesha opposes Dhanishta (Capricorn portion) they both deal with the perils of abuse in early life and the perils of fame too. Both have challenging connection w mother figure.
6. Saturn is metal, Saturnians have this robotic coldness ab them. With Saturnian nakshatras especially uttarabhadrapada and anuradha they can appear very still and controlled to others, where ppl find them a but off-putting bc of this.
7. The only ppl that loosen Saturnian’s coldness is the luminaries, sun and moon. Saturnians will be mean to everyone but have a soft spot for solarians and lunar influenced ppl.
8. Saturnians also love venusians since Saturn exalts in a Venusian sign
9. Then martians loosen mercurials. This is especially prominent with the tightly wound Ashlesha where they are loosened by mars naks especially Mrigashira and Dhanishta.
10. You’ll see that Mrigashira and Ashlesha is found in the charts of many couples.
11. The 5th house is “the king’s favorite” so for example if a boss, teacher, authority figure etc will have 5th house synastry with their “favorite” student, employee etc
12. This is why Leo’s are considered lucky. 5th house - is connected to Leo- it’s the 5th sign. Leo natives often experience luck in life bc they are favored by higher forces, which is connected to the 9th house , houses 1/5/9 form a trine. They are chosen as the “favorites” when it matters most.
13. Think about in Harry Potter, (the actor is a Leo IRL). In the movie he’s always chosen as the favorite, by hagrid , by Dumbledore , even though he had enemies, was in danger, and was in poverty at first, he was always protected and taken care of by otherworldly forces.
14. Same applies to dating, people date their 5th house sign bc out of all the suitors you attract , 5th house is the favorites out of everyone.
15. Houses 1/5/9 all are related to royalty , 1st house are like the princess (daughter of a king) the 5th house is the children of the princess, and 9th house is the king himself, or the grandfather.
16. Aries-1st house, Leo- 5th house , Sagittarius 9th house
17. That’s why Ketu Nakshatras -Ashwini(Aries) , Magha (Leo) , Mula (Sagittarius), are often seen in the charts of royalty IRL.
18. Princess Diana had Magha lagnesh and Rahu, her son Prince William has Mula Ascendant , Queen Elizabeth was Ashwini Sun.
19. Ppl think only Leo is royalty but it also extends to the Signs that trine Leo - Aries & Sag
20. Your 4th and 9th house are people who are genetically related to you. 4th house is mother, grandmother and female ancestors, 9th house is father, grandfather and male ancestors
21. 8th house is your in laws and how they receive you. 8th house in Leo, your in laws adore you, 8th house in aquarius they can reject you and not accept you at first. Etc
22. Sometimes 4th house synastry can create discomfort btwn ppl. Where 4th house is ur innermost self. So when’s someone’s personal planets are in ur 4th house , you feel like they can read your mind or know u too well.
23. Couples w 4th house synastry find it hard to break up permanently they usually always get back together.

𝐵𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒾 𝓌𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓃
🩷 My 'mother in law' is Ashwini Sun in Lahiri, but she always felt super Bharani to me- she had an extremely abusive father, and she just adores her kids and even me. She's a wonderful cook, and soo beautiful! When I first met her I thought she looked so young and vibrant to have a son my partner's age. She went through so much (had really intense childbirth too) and continues to be a nurturing powerhouse for the family, she's just a gem. She's Bharani in galactic center mid-mula ayanamsa 🌌
🩷 My own mama was similar, she was a Bharani Moon- harsh childhood and raised by nuns in an institution (I've noticed this being a theme with Moon in the 10th sometimes). She didn't get that fairytale childhood and she wanted to give that to her babies so much. She was also very beautiful & a great cook. The girls and I used to always say she should go on MasterChef lol. She had me at 42 & my youngest sister at 47- so Bharani, the theme of 'delayed gratification' and the slow moving nature of the elephant yoni 🐘 Sadly she had unhealed demons you could say and there was some darker stuff, but I always recognise how much she gave to us and devoted to us. She bared so much to bring us into this world, rip mum 🤍🩷
Both are also 'exotic' women considering where I'm from, and Venusian Nakshatras relate to rarity and exoticism.
🤍 - I also have a close friend who is Bharani ascendant- gorgeous, 'exotic' by standards of where she lives, adores cooking & her children immensely
🤍my ex roommate had a Bharani placement & willingly handled the cooking for the both of us. I never asked her to or anything, she just loved cooking and sharing her food. She also had a very abusive upbringing.
The feminine strength Bharani exudes astounds me every time I meet a native. They truly go through so much and then often go on to nurture others and go out of their way to give them what they didn't get as a kid.
I'm a D9 Bharani Moon and I do see these themes in myself- I'm not a cook however though lol. I suspect I will be when I'm older though, as D9 activates & unfolds more by means of maturity & self-realisation.
Note: I'm vey anti generalisations since every chart and human being is unique- not every Bharani native will be this way or have these exact experiences depending on other influences and in part free will, but it's definitely a theme that's just wonderful to get to observe

Opposition Nakshatras and Mistaken Energies/Similar Appearance
One phenomenon I’ve observed is that individuals often compare famous people who don’t share nakshatras in their primary luminaries or ascendants but whose placements fall in opposition to one another.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Björk
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A friend once pointed out their similarity, particularly in their eye area, and upon examining their charts, I found no shared primary nakshatras in their luminaries or ascendants. However, they do have opposition nakshatras: Anya Taylor-Joy has an Ashwini ☉ in ♈︎, while Björk has a Swati ☽ in ♎︎ there’s a visual familiarity that connects them while retaining stark distinctions.

Note
Putting this here for the 💎goddess asks💎, thank you so much for doing them, super excited to see the results!
Tumblr media
Side Note: I never realized how strange my IC line is before, I’d usually just check the list at the bottom for whole signs and not the top.
Hii thank you for participating🤍
Your divine archetype:
🐎🌘🗡The fierce spirit of sovereignty, beauty and freedom 🌸🌿
Your goddesses:
Rhiannon_ Welsh goddess of horses, sovereignty, love, beauty, the spirit that connects this world with that of the dead. Some say she represents the cyclical nature of nature itself and life.
So, obviously, if I would pick a nakshatra for her it would be Ashwini_ your moon, due to the white horse and sovereignty associations, but it's interesting that her myths tie her to Venusian themes, the influence that you also have. I would coorelate her more strongly to both Ashwini and Bharani, especially considering that she has ties to the otherworld(land of the dead, deities and other powerful spirits in Celtic mythology) and the cycles of nature.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before I say more about Rhiannon I want to throw in an Ashwini archetype of goddesses that you might feel connected to. It's the solar goddesses of northern europe: Norse Sol, Baltic Saule, Finnish Paivatar. They ride chariots pulled by two white horses(not unlike Ashwini kumaras) and one of them is even called Allsvin. Ashwini is also the exaltation point of the Sun in vedic and so is Solar in nature. Also the chariot/speed/new beginning coorelations apply to Ashwini as well.
Gaulish Epona is another horse goddess frequently compared to Rhiannon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One myth from The Mabinogion tells a story of Rhiannon falling in love with a man named Pwyll, Prince of Dwyfed. Her parents had arranged to marry her off to someone else. Rhiannon confronted them, having decided that Pwyll would be her husband and no one else. Other sources say that the man_ Gwawl tricked her into an engagement. Whatever the story, she did not want to marry him and wanted to marry Pwyll.
Eventually she appears to Pwyll on a white horse, in gold. He is immediately enchanted and chases her for three days and then Rhiannon allows him to finally wed.
The story then goes that on a feast, Gwawl comes to them, cloaked and in disguise, asking for one thing. Pwyll, without thinking, agrees to grant him anything that he wants. Rhiannon recognizes the man she was avoiding all this time, urging her husband to take his word back. Gwawl then asks for Rhiannon.
A year goes by as she stays with Gwawl. Then Pwyll comes, disguised as a beggar, asking for only enough food to fill his satchel, but his saychel could contain anything. So he traps Gwawl inside.
There's another story of Rhiannon and Pwyll having a son and him dissapearing.
Tumblr media
A lot of these themes connect to Bharani. The lost child(losing something you have nurtured, birthed and love), standing up to oneself especially concerning unwanted marriage, granting rulership to the person who marries her(the power of the passive feminine_sovereignty).
Deities often stay in people's subconcious as characters with personalities rather than as partcipants in stories/myths(which are syoll debated/differ anyways). Rhiannon's personality is typical Ashwini_ self-confident, initiating, sometimes stubborn and quick to turn to defensiveness. She also has strong magical associations, sometimes being called a sorceress, which is Mercurial. Your Mercury atmakaraka(also in an independent and martian/solar sign of Aries) might connect you with that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just to mention, Norse Venusian goddess Freya that I associate most with Bharani(also Purva Phalguni and Ashwini) might resonate with you. She's the goddess of love, beauty, sensuality, fertility and also death, being the first one to choose the slain in battle to go with her to her heavenly abode_ folkvangr(the rest go with Odin to Valhalla). She rides a chariot(again) pulled by cats and has a cloak of falcon feathers for flying and shapeshifting. There is a magical/mercurial aspect to Freya as well. She's said to know the art of Seidr_ a type of "magic" that manipulates fate(Bharani's theme)(this is a very loose description of Seidr). This is all I chose to list but info about her is avaliable online if you want to look into her🤍
Also you might want to look into Irish Áine, another goddess of love, also associated with sovereignty, heat, the sun and the moon, horses and desire. I did talk about in the first game answer that I did but I think she really fits your chart.
If you want to look into other goddesses, I'd say to search for sovereignty goddesses also associated with love, beauty, magic, desire, sexuality and/or fire, since your big three are all in fire signs🔥. I also relied a little on my intuition when picking these goddesses.
I also have to talk about Jupiter_ your chart ruler being in lunar Cancer and exalted in the nourishing nakshatra of Pushya(which is actually the enemy nakshatra of your ascendant_ Purva Ashadha). So, lunar influence is also present in your imprint.
To sum up Ketu(Ashwini), Venus(Bharani and Purva Ashadha), Mars(Aries Sun and Moon), Moon(chart ruler in Cancer) and Mercury(atmakaraka) are all important influences for you.
Another goddess I want to mention is Chinese goddess of sex, war and longevuty from Taoism_ Jiutian Xuannü. Her name means "mysterious woman of the nine heavens". "Jiutian" means "nine heavens", "Xuán Nü" means "dark lady" or "mysterious lady". Since your ketu is in 12th house and your chart ruler is in the 8th, I think the dark/mysterious aspect will resonate with you, if not her obvious associations with Bharani. Ketu is also associated with complete darkness and the absorbing feminine.
Tumblr media
I'd like to go back to Rhiannon to finish off and summarize all the elements that make her fit for your chart. The sovereignty(Ashwini, Sun and moon in Aries), white horse(Ashwini), defiant and independent especially in love(Bharani but Purva Ashadha and Ashwini too), ghostly/a spirit(Bharani, Ashwini, 12th house, 8th house chart ruler), sorceress(12th and 8th houses, ketu and venus, mercury atmakaraka), lunar associations(chart ruler exalted in Cancer), magic, love and beauty(venus) otherworld(Bharani and Ketu).
Tumblr media
I tried to do my best and I might discover new things that might coorelate better to your placements and overall energy but I hope this is interesting, helpful and that this resonates at least on some level. 😭🤍
Of course, you're free to investigate these or similar goddesses of this or another archetype(s) yourself, I even encourage it. And you can message me if you have questions or something extra to say.
Please leave feedback after reading.💕 It does not have to be long but please be honest

I just remembered that they share the same nakshatra lords on their top 3 placements (including a nakshatra and a double whammy) and now I can't stop thinking about them & their onscreen potential.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eva Green has Punarvasu Sun while Krysten Ritter has Purva Bhadrapada Ascendant. Then Eva Green has Ashwini Moon and Magha Ascendant, while Krysten Ritter has Magha Moon and Mula Sun.
Tumblr media
The idea of them in the same scene is quite mystifying because they're also so different. Their lunar mansions sets them far apart, proving the distance between Ashwini and Magha (and Punarvasu and Purva Bhadrapada). Eva Green is just the weirdest between the two to me, like the hardest to pin down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Give them a Magha-themed plot and also have them as best friends with sapphic undertones to make a whole fandom pump out fanfics I'd be so down for that.

Note
Speaking of nakshatras, I would rather make a series about nakshatras when I can interpret each nakshastra individually than telling my most favorite and least favorite nakshatras.
///
that sounds great!! would look forward to it! ☺️
01. ASHWINI NAKSHATRA (0°00' ARIES - 13°20' ARIES)
Tumblr media
Ashwini is the first nakshatra in Vedic astrology. It starts at the very beginning of the Aries sign and is ruled by the shadow planet Ketu, which represents detachment, spirituality, liberation, tradition and the past life. The combination of Ketu and Mars (ruler of Aries) makes this nakshatra about new beginnings, taking action, vitality and quickness. Since the ruler of this nakshatra is Ketu, the role of this planet in Ashwini nakshatra is to begin a new life journey and to activate the karma of this current lifetime. If you have Sun, Moon, Ascendant, chart ruler or Atmakaraka in this nakshatra, that means you have a prominent Ashwini nakshatra in your chart.
The deities which rule Ashwini nakshatra are Ashwini Kumaras, the twin gods of health and medicine. They were physicians who were able to heal the people who were deaf, blind or sick. This nakshatra is connected to healing, medicine and magic, since the power of this nakshatra is the Power to quickly heal and reach desires. A lot of people with prominent Ashwini nakshatra in their chart usually work as doctors, surgeons, healers, psychologists, magicians etc. The symbol of this nakshatra is a horse's head, representing swiftness, agility and vitality. The yoni/animal of this nakshatra is a male horse, which signifies courage, speed, assertiveness and initiation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ashwini nakshatra is the Star of Transport, which aligns with the characteristics of this nakshatra. People with prominent Ashwini nakshatra are very fast and always active. They're always busy and are the first ones to take action and to do something productive. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them worked as a taxi driver or they owned some cars or even private planes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next thing I wanna talk about is a myth of Ashwini nakshatra. So, Ashwini Kumaras (the deities of Ashwini nakshatra) are the sons of Surya and Sanjana. Surya is a god of Sun and is actually a synonym for the planet Sun in Vedic astrology. That's why there's an exaltation point of the planet Sun in this nakshatra at 10° of Aries sign. Sanjana was a Surya's wife, but she couldn't stand his husband Surya so she created a shadow self called Chaya, which was basically her clone. Interestingly enough, Surya didn't noticed that Sanjana disappeared at the first place. He actually believed that Chaya (the shadow of Sanjana) was an actual Sanjana.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because of this myth, people with this nakshatra in their charts may struggle with relationships or marriage. It might indicate having homosexual tendencies, since Ashwini nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the planet of liberation. Women with this nakshatra might also have a tendency to leave their male partners and to live on their own or to search for romantic relationship with another woman.
Every nakshatra has four quarters or padas, so does Ashwini nakshastra. Each pada tells us about the placements in our Navamsa (D9) chart.
Padas of Ashwini nakshastra:
Pada 1 (0°00' - 3°20' Aries)- Aries
Pada 2 (3°20 - 6°40' Aries) - Taurus
Pada 3 (6°40 - 10°00' Aries) - Gemini
Pada 4 (10°00' - 13°20' Aries) - Cancer
For example, if you have Sun in the 1st pada of Ashwini nakshastra in your birth chart (D1), you have Sun in Aries in your Navamsa (D9) chart. If you have Venus in the 4th pada of Ashwini nakshastra in your birth chart (D1), you have Venus in Cancer in your Navamsa (D9) chart etc.
Celebrities who have prominent Ashwini nakshatra in their chart:
Selena Gomez - Ashwini Moon
Pamela Anderson - Ashwini Moon
Al Pacino - Ashwini Sun
Gigi Hadid - Ashwini Ascendant
Cate Blanchett - Ashwini Moon
Zendaya - Ashwini Moon
Rihanna - Ashwini chart ruler
Alejandro Fernandez - Ashwini Sun and Moon
Stevie Nicks - Ashwini Ascendant
Penélope Cruz - Ashwini Ascendant
Luis Miguel - Ashwini Sun
Nikola Tesla - Ashwini Ascendant
Snoop Dogg - Ashwini Ascendant
Howard Stern - Ashwini Moon
