as for how they'd react to their human being scared of spiders:

Depending on the size of the spider, Asa might try to brave through it for you. He might "tactically retreat" and cling to you though. Both of you can huddle and scream for someone to help :D and you better hope that someone is Mishka, who traps and releases the spider calmly. He's secretly amused at your reaction and fantasizes about you clinging onto him out of fear, giving comforting rubs to your back to calm you down. But it's an understandable reaction, he reasons, spiders are kind of creepy. That's not what Yuri thinks though, who is probably the worst person in this scenario to be around. Yuri is thoroughly entertained by your distress and would play around with the spider to see what kind of other reactions you have in store for him. Then, your best bet is to either wait for Yuri to find another target for harassment, or pray that Killian comes along. Strangely, the spider (and all other animals in the vicinity) seems to shrink away at his approaching footsteps. He remarks that he's glad the source of terror is gone, but he's definitely making a mental note of your intense fear of spiders for...future reference.
