But it wasn't enough—not tonight. Not after so long apart.

Buck pulled back just enough to look at him, his hand cupping Tommy's face. His thumb brushed gently along his cheek, a touch so tender it almost undid Tommy entirely. "Hey," Evan whispered, his voice trembling slightly now, the vulnerability cracking through the haze of passion. "You've always been mine, even when you weren't here. Even when I wasn't sure I'd ever see you again. You're it for me, Tommy. You always have been."

Tommy's throat tightened, the words sinking into the deepest parts of him, filling spaces he hadn't realized were still empty. His hand reached up, curling around Buck's wrist, grounding him in the moment. "You don't know how much I needed to hear that," he said, his voice breaking slightly. "You don't know how much I've missed you... missed this. Us."

Buck leaned down, pressing his forehead to Tommy's, their breaths mingling in the silence. "We're here now," he whispered. "We've got time to figure it all out. No more running, no more hiding. Just us, okay?"

Tommy nodded, a tear slipping down his temple, quickly kissed away by Buck. His lips quirked into a faint, bittersweet smile. "Okay," he said softly, his voice steady despite the emotions surging in his chest. "Just us."

They stayed like that, tangled together in the quiet of the room, their hearts beating in sync, a reminder that even after everything, they found their way back to each other. This was home—this was forever.

After a few moments, Tommy let out a breathless laugh, his voice warm and teasing.

"You know, making me cum twice? At forty? You're trying to kill me, Evan."

Buck smirked, pressing a playful kiss on Tommy's temple. "You're not that old, babe. Besides, you handled it just fine. Might even go for three next time."
