heyyyy

Just a quick update here..

Most of my online presence has been limited to Twitter, and now that Twitter is slowly and painfully sinking thanks to Elon i've also been on Bluesky and Threads.

On tumblr i've only been active on my Dragon Age blog, but thats like, my professional blog where i like to keep things decent and as polished as possible.

Now, with DRAGON AGE THE VEILGUARD coming out THIS THURSDAY OMFG i'm gonna need a place to share shameless fanart, edits, rants, and everything messy and i'll need to be able to do it at length, something the three social platforms i'm using don't really allow.

So i'm reviving this one, primarily so i don't explode keeping everything nice and tidy on the other one, it's been ten very long and difficult YEARS, ALL TEN OF THEM, so i wanna be able to freely express everything i'll be going through while playing this game. DA is my main special interest, Thedas is home! Also this time we're getting a PHOTO MODE??? O. M. G. i'm gonna be taking so many photos 30% of my playing time will be just me messing with depth of field settings.

I also got a new tablet, i can't make any promises that it'll happen but i hope this game can give me the final kick in the butt i need to heal so i can draw again.

In the meantime if anyone's curious just how terribly into this i am, here's a short series i did introducing the characters i designed to drop into this game (what? they announced stuff in June, i had time lol) . I also plan to take notes of all the sliders on the CC to share later on as i give each of my Rooks an actual face.

As i'm writing this reviews scores are coming out, overwhelmingly positive, and i'm in awe, i have a lot to process now.

#I got a lot of people saying that Viktor should be the Android #which I did mention in the tags last time #but after thinking about it I just think that the human experience is such an integral part of viktor as a character #(aside from the fact that it makes every character ever)#his pain and suffering due to his illness and disability and class #like I can’t take that away from him #not that Jayce doesn’t go through his own things too #but I think Jayce’s naïveté from season one lends itself well to an Android in awe of human life #and a jaded but wise Viktor who still has a good heart and sense of humour #I mean this is just my version of the au and like I think I said in my tags last time im pretty sure I’ve seen a few around with android V #definitely got recommended some fics that I’m excited to check out!#sorry for rambling - this isn’t to discredit any other interpretations!! just kind of exploring my thought process behind it :)#oh also sorry that this is angsty lol #it’s fine #my art #arcane #jayvik #Jayce talis #jayce arcane #Viktor arcane #dbh #detroit become human #arcane au #noodles talks #(in the tags)

actually sometimes being neurodivergent is great bc you have a particular kind of Silly Mode that just . manifests glory. harmless fun is my precious side quest & i have a high score in whimsy. like okay if i gotta be the first dork in the dance pit it's gonna be me and this random toddler and we're gonna avril-style rock ouuuuttt

MYSTERION!!! just another different flavor of kenny #are you sick of seeing me draw him yet #anyways. i made the poncho follow the shape of an M to recreate the M on his original design on his chest #but i also have green lines on his undershirt that travel up his arms and onto his chest to recreate the shape of an M #if the hood were to ever be ripped off #gave him the sort of police utility belts because he was close to the police in his first episode #and also just because theyre cool lol #ALSO I STOLE THE SPRAY PAINTED QUESTION MARK ON HIS HOOD i really like how it looks i think it was vicchaosz here on tumblr who inspired me #made the poncho ragged because. yknow. he dies a lot. that thing is not gonna walk away in tip top shape.#kept most of the colors the same with only a few changes like his boots and his underpants (which i changed to shorts)#OH AND MY FAVORITE HAPPY ACCIDENT!!! the underside of his hood was too dark in contrast to his shorts so i added some lilac to lighten it u #and it ended up looking like when mysterion goes into his ghost form in the game AND ITS JUST. UGH.
