sometimes I think of how much potential Beast Boy and Raven have as a couple and I get so sad when I realize people will never get them the way I do because DC refuse to explore their relationship so people will never understand how good they are for each other

i can understand the criticism that the sapphic couple died, but at the same time i don't feel like this is a case of 'burying your gays', i'm sorry. they are far from the only characters to die - i mean it's literally a show about life & death - & their deaths actually lead to an happy ending, which decidedly did NOT happen with hyunmin & jiyoung. like do you really feel like their ending was preferable? if they weren't queer, then sunhae & hyewon's ending would just be considered romantic, if a bit tragic.

if you want to talk about how tragic it is that they only got to live an happy & free life in the afterlife & what that tells us about the way queer relationships are seen in south korea (both in the context of the story & the writing), then i'm more than willing to listen, but ultimately sunhae stayed to be with the person she loved & she got to live an happy life with her. i've literally seen ppl wish the same would happen with hyunmin & jiyoung before the last 2 eps even came out, bc they considered it a good ending.

I just thought about this but what if Copia’s partner was Sister’s apprentice and thus took on a lot of her traits — but was still very healthy and good for and with Copia?

She’s very focused, direct, hard-working, wants to assure his success…but not at the cost of his or even her own well-being or happiness. She makes her love for him abundantly clear and isn’t uncomfortable being affectionate towards him or asking him if he’s alright, does he need a break or time to himself? Does he want to cuddle for a bit or play Driving Miss Daisy?

This isn’t to say Copia is a slouch, though: He appreciates that she kicks his rear into gear and he tries to do right by her by doing his best. He communicates his worries even though it makes him nervous, he makes sure dinner is ready or that stuff is clean if his day ends before hers. He feels respected and acknowledged by the fact she sees him for the capable adult he can be, he just needs guidance at times and reminders that he’s allowed to have control over his life.

They’re a team. They do taxes together and he finds those sweet little pointers that gets her more money back. She kisses him like crazy for it.

In my opinion, Lawlu isn't a couple who are going to have kids... relatively, at the very least. Who knows if I can think of any setting or AU where they might have children, but in a modern domestic AU or canon/canon-compliant settings, I don't exactly see them as having kids. I see them as a couple whose idea of settling in begins and ends with each other. Don't get me wrong, they adore children, but they're not necessarily interested in having their own. Them playing uncles for their friends' kids is more than enough for them.

What I do see them having, in modern setting, are dogs. I totally see Law as a dog person and Luffy is just jolly enough to have any pet companion around. I think it paints a pretty funny picture to see Law trying to wrestle both of his overexcited dog AND boyfriend to take a bath after their 2-hour frolicking in the muddy grass.

A couple that I see having kids in modern AU is actually Frobin! My personal headcanon is that they adopted, and it has to do with how I love the idea of Robin, who was abandoned as a child but gradually found love and healing in her found family, would want to try to be a mother for children who went through the similar thing she did as a child. Robin canonically adores children, so I think it's not much of a stretch for her to want them regardless of how she acquires them. And Franky is just supportive all around - he'd be a great dad.
