#as an aside you know what really would have also helped avoid this whole situation?

The groupchat has me ranting about The Flash so you all get my abridged version of how Season 3 should have gone.
Savitar should never have been a speed force clone. My gripes about the use of the grandfather paradox aside, it reveals a disturbing slant to Barry's mind that he essentially went "a villain killed my wife, my friends are rejecting me for not being 'real,' what I need to do is go back in time and kill my wife so that my past self is forced to experience this pain."
If they wanted to tie him into the whole Flashpoint thing, what they should have done is make him a unique speedster from the flashpoint timeline; he (at least the version of himself with powers) came into existence due to Barry's meddling, but wasn't erased because his own powers protected him from the time ripple (or because he had crossed over onto another Earth at the time of the change). Now he has an undying grudge against Barry because his meddling with time travel essentially erased his home universe from existence. This not only ties into the recurrence of flashpoint metahumans throughout the season, but it forces Barry to contend with the fact that, while far more well-intentioned, he has essentially become someone else's Thawne.

The first person is aware that Lydia could remove the files from her mouth at any time? Literally, she takes them off on her own to talk when she gets tired of them! Beetlejuice is a very powerful fucking demon, if he wanted to completely silence Lydia he could and would have done so. However, he didn't do it. I'm tired of seeing people make this situation worse when in reality it's not as restrictive as it seems.
Same with the baby's delusion, which yes, is admittedly very disturbing at first and the only real reprehensible thing that Beetlejuice does to Lydia in this film in my opinion (because with the song that is played at their wedding ceremony and the how easily he lets Lydia send him away (I'm sure he wasn't really planning on marrying her this time). But then again, he didn't actually get Lydia pregnant ! And she didn't really give birth to his demonic child either ! And she seems to get over that weird, disgusting prank made by Beetlejuice pretty quickly.
Also, I don't know why but I never had the impression that Beetlejuice had traumatized Lydia in the first film as an attempt to affirm these people, particularly the second.
Literally, she doesn't seem to have any after-effects in the first film, and the sequel proves it even more. At what point in her scenes with Beetlejuice himself does Lydia seem to be truly afraid of him or particularly traumatized by him ? And I'm talking about the scenes where she is with him in the flesh. Because the moments when she thinks she's hallucinating his presence, it's logical that she panics. But no, she never seems terrified of Beetlejuice himself.
Not even at the famous wedding, contrary to what the second person says. This is bullshit.
The scenes where Beetlejuice makes declarations to Lydia like the serenade or the marriage, she doesn't seem disgusted (except when he throws his heart in her hands and that's somewhat normal) or terrified, or both.
She just has a face that generally says : Wtf ? Because the situation is WTF ! This wedding scene is not at all portrayed as creepy in the first place !
Frankly, it's bad form to say the opposite for me ! It’s deliberately turning a blind eye. Beetlejuice is a horror comedy, these scenes are above all funny with touches of bizarre and gothic !
The actors love their characters together, including Winona who totally ships them. To say that she played her character as being terrified of Beetlejuice is bullshit.
And even if his acting was out of step with the script, that's not the case. Because once again, Lydia is not traumatized by Beetlejuice even through writing.
Aside from the fact that Lydia doesn't want to say Beetlejuice's name to avoid screwing up her life again (and we understand), there is nothing that indicates a real fear of Beetlejuice, the individual, in her !
And no, Lydia does not have any trauma that caused her to hallucinate the Beetlejuice presence. We know it, we see it, Beetlejuice does this on his own, so when Lydia sees him it's real. These are not hallucinations resulting from trauma at all !
Yes, Beetlejuice is problematic, obviously he's a demon ! Yes, Beetlebabes also has problematic aspects, obviously since once again Beetlejuice is a demon !
(That's literally the whole appeal of this ship between these two... Nobody likes Beetlebabes because it's a healthy relationship !)
But I'm tired of people trying to make it worse than it is.
In this sequel, Beetlejuice literally saved Astrid, Lydia's daughter, and he also saved her from marrying a complete asshole !
Not only that, but the way he pursues Lydia, or courts her if you prefer, isn't really cringeworthy.
He helps her save her daughter. Saves her from a bad marriage. He plays the serenade. Gives her a hand kiss. Is ready to accept Astrid as his child. Offers her his beating heart (yuck), etc. Frankly, it's a good overall approach for me !
And even if it's frankly not cool to haunt her in recent years, the film suggests to us that it's really due to a connection between the two characters. So that balances it out a bit.
Frankly, the antis greatly exaggerate the issues of ship Beetlebabes and the character of Beetlejuice.
It's like those who say he's a pedophile, when he only seeks to marry Lydia for convenience in the first film, not because he has feelings for her. Plus people seem to forget that Beetlejuice comes from an era where girls generally married at the age Lydia was in the first film...
But hey. Really thinking about these is a bit hard obviously for the antis.
And I'm not even going to bother talking about those (like this second person) who think Beetlejuice having a picture of Lydia from the first movie on his desk is creepy...

how about Candy meeting another Genyr!reader who luckily survived Night Terrors’ attack all those years ago? Like the reader just joined the mansion and didnt know Candy&Terrors were theree?? This might be a little bit of a crazy ask, but do what you will with it <3
This got pretty long, so I hope you enjoy <3
It had been several hundred years since the event that had forced Candy to share his body with Terrors, and both of them were long past the point of assuming any other members of the Genyr race were left alive. So much time and so much energy had been put into moving past that traumatic event, and so much growth on both of their parts toward bettering themselves and learning to live with the pain of the past. So, when Slender pulled Candy aside one day to have a complicated conversation, learning of your existence was the last thing that Candy had been expecting at all. Slender had made Candy aware in advance, although he hadn't had the time to prep you before your own arrival which would, unfortunately, be happening that day. Candy didn't really believe it, because how could he? At least, until you walk through those front doors.
"Oh my god!!" Was the first shared thought between Candy and Terrors upon Candy's vision landing on you, Candy because he was so excited, and Terrors because he was having a holy shit what do I even do in this situation moment. You, of course, were also in complete shock at the situation, frozen in the doorway and blinking as though there must have been something wrong with your eyes. Slender would have to pull both of you aside this time, to help explain the situation and try and help both of you get settled with this. You're feeling a torrent of emotions, having also assumed you were the last surviving member of your race all these years, so to learn that you weren't alone was a very emotional feeling for both you and Candy, met with hugs and tears and a deep connection being formed between the two of you immediately as you talked and explained how the last couple hundred years had gone for the two of you. You were starting to think that the world was looking up and nothing bad could happen now, at least, until Candy backed away from you, quite distraught, mentioned that he had to explain something, and with the help of Slender told you how the way he had stopped Terrors all those years ago was by essentially fusing their souls together. Of course, you're now freaking out, realizing that the man who had murdered all of your species except for the two of you had been inside of Candy this whole time.
The next few weeks are awkward for everyone involved, with you switching between being incredibly angry and betrayed, but also wanting to grow closer to Candy, but also not even wanting to look at him. Neither Candy nor Terrors could really blame you, with how conflicting the last month must have been for you to learn that both the man that had been thought to have killed everyone you knew and loved was still alive, but so was the person that had stopped him. I think it would get to the point where you and Terrors would have to sit down and really talk it out. Candy had hundreds of years to internally argue with Terrors and see him gradually improve, but you hadn't been there for any of that. Terrors does a very uncharacteristic apology, not quite groveling at your feet but pretty damn close to it, and he'll even let you beat the shit out of him if you want to, he knows he deserves it. He just asks that you don't blame or avoid Candy because of this situation because none of it is his fault. He understands if you want to avoid him, but he really does hope you'll get closer to Candy because Candy is truly all you have left of your race. Thankfully, for both you and Candy, you do take his advice and get closer to him. While you and Candy easily grow closer, drawn in by familiarity and nostalgia, just as it had been for Candy, it will be a very, very, very long time before you can consider spending any time at all with Terrors, which both Candy and Terrors understand and respect. Candy is just so unbelievably thankful to have someone else from his race after spending so many years alone, and he'll do anything he can to keep both of you alive and together, so you never have to be separated again.

pairing; wonbin x reader
genre; enemies to lovers (?)
warnings; a little bit of cursing, suggestive (a bit)
note; i‘m not 100% satisfied with this but i hope y’all still like it !! also omg i love talk saxy,, riize really went off with it
keeping distance
in which you have art class with wonbin and you two have to put your hatred feelings for each other aside when the teacher puts you in a group together…
“this can‘t be happening,” you say to your best friend shotaro who‘s sitting next to you. for him, this whole situation is hilarious.
“you will never get rid of him,” shotaro giggles and you glare at him before you put up your hand and ask the teacher if you’re allowed to switch your partner. the teacher strictly shakes his head.
“the partners can’t be changed.”
“but we don’t get along,” you look over to him, the person you don’t like.. and he doesn’t like you either. he always makes sure to let you know that he’d rather kiss a cactus than be in your presence.
“maybe you two can take this time to learn how to get along then, right wonbin?” the teacher smiles at wonbin and then looks back to you, carrying a very provocative smile on his face. it angers you.
what angers you even more is that, when the teacher said this, wonbin just scoffed. what is he scoffing for? you think. if you want, you can be a really nice person. wonbin just has never gotten to know this side of you because he also has never shown you his nice side.
“just.. ignore him if he‘s being too annoying,” shotaro whispers to you before you stand up to walk over to wonbin.
he doesn’t even look up to you when you’re standing right in front of him.
you cough to get a reaction, but nothing happens.
wonbin keeps looking at the big canvas in front of him, on which the two of you have to draw something for this project.
“okay well i tried,” you say, turning around. you were ready to walk away but wonbin stops you.
“what are you expecting me to say?”
rolling your eyes, you turn to him again.
“maybe.. hello? since we have to be civil and mature with each other. for now.”
“can you stop being so dramatic and just sit down?”
you notice wonbin staring at you. analyzing him back, you can’t deny the fact that he is truly the most attractive person you know. if it wouldn’t be for his character, you would for sure like him.
maybe even a little too much…
you shake your head to avoid those thoughts and sit down on the empty chair next to him.
“i think we should divide the canvas in two and then each of us has their own side,” you suggest proudly. you like that idea; keeping distance between wonbin and you because not even on a canvas you two would match well together.
“that‘s stupid. we need to work together for this,” wonbin disagrees. his eyes are back on the canvas and it looks like he’s envisioning something.
“we are. just on two different sides but still on the same canvas.”
“and you think you’re being mature?” wonbin turns to you. the two of you lock eyes and you can’t help but to stare at his face.
why does he have such beautiful eyes? and apart from that, his lips are also so perfect…
you stop yourself from thinking about him in that way (again), but being this close to him is making this hard for you.
“well what’s your idea?” you bite your bottom lip and turn away as fast as possible.
wonbin chuckles. he knows that you’re trying so hard to not just stop and make out with him. he clearly wouldn’t say no to that..but he would never let you know because he likes this little disliking each other game that the two of you play.
“we should just go for it, like draw whatever comes to our minds,” he says.
you decide that instead of having a discussion with him about this right now, you should just agree. be more mature than him.
the two of you start drawing on the canvas, unconsciously staying on each of your sides.
it’s been a few minutes and you can’t believe that it’s actually working; wonbin and you are working. together. without fighting. somehow this puts a grin on your face.
“hey, we are actually doing goo- what the hell?!”
you wanted to compliment wonbin for working so well together but he suddenly paints a black star on what you’ve drawn.
“why did you do that??”
“it looked boring. now it looks cool,” he goes back to drawing on his side.
you can’t believe that he just did that. you grab after the red paint, move closer to wonbin and paint all over his drawing.
before you could go even more wild, he grabs after your hand and pulls it back.
“are you serious right now?!”
“you destroyed my painting!”
“i was helping you! it was boring!”
“you know what else is boring?” you grab the paintbrush (with the hand that wonbin isn’t holding), dip it in blue paint and then go all over wonbin‘s white apron.
wonbin lets go of you because of how shocked he is that you did that. he licks his lips before he grabs after his paintbrush.
“no no no no,” you say, a smile sneaking on your face. you stand up from your chair and run straight out of class, knowing that your teacher will probably scold you later on.
thinking that maybe wonbin won’t go after you since you’ve ran out of the classroom, you lean yourself against the wall.
you don’t know why but you start laughing. you should have taken a picture of wonbins face when you painted his apron because his expression was just too hilarious.
okay, you calm down, maybe it’s time to go back.
and just as you walk around the corner to go back to your class, you feel someone grab your waist to turn you around.
“you didn’t think that i’d let you go this easily, did you?” wonbin smirks.
he‘s still holding your waist, keeping you close.. so close that you can hear him breathe.
“you started it,” you could slap yourself for sounding how you do right now, so unsure and shaky.. all because of wonbin.
“you went overboard. so don’t you think it’d be only fair if i also draw on,” his hand moves down to your apron. he lightly pulls at it. “this?”
you gulp, not knowing what to do or to say. you’re trying your hardest to fight off all those thoughts that are going through your mind right now.
“lost your voice, have you?” wonbin‘s smirk just grows bigger and bigger.
“we should go back to class,” you say.
you could totally free yourself from wonbin’s grip but you don’t want to. you are actually enjoying being this close to him.
nevermind the fact that you said there needs to be distance between you and him. hell, if you could you would even close this last bit of distance between the two of you right now.
“that’s not really what you want to do, is it?” wonbin slightly pulls you closer. too close.
it’s getting dangerous. so dangerous that you don’t know if you’re able to hold yourself back. and you hate that he knows.
wonbin moves closer to your face and puts your hair back on the right side. “tell me, *y/n*, what is it that you really want to do?” he whispers into your ear.
“honestly, i just really want to paint all over your face,” you’re happy that your voice is sounding more confident again.
wonbin tries hard to not let you show that this wasn’t what he was expecting you to say.
“but i also want to kiss you,” you whisper, looking down at his lips.
now, wonbin’s mouth forms into a smirk again. this is what he has been waiting to hear. since forever, actually.
you don’t know that wonbin only annoys you because that’s what he does when he likes someone. he was never sure if you actually dislike him or if you feel the same way until today, when the teacher put you two together. that’s when he saw that you wanted him just as much as he wanted you.
“so do it,” wonbin whispers against your lips, which seconds later, collide with his.
wonbin has made you feel so many things throughout the time you’ve known him, but today, right now, while you’re kissing him, whatever you’re feeling because of him is.. different. it’s new.. and exciting. it’s like there’s thousands of fireworks exploding inside of you.
and it’s all because of wonbin.
the person you didn’t really dislike that much, after all.

yellow rose with idia? ^^
Idia Shroud:
Yellow Rose - a happy thought that causes a smile.
Today was a day to celebrate memories.
Idia awkwardly fumbled with his tie, feeling it was so tight it might strangle him. Ortho had checked at least three times and confirmed it was fine, but had since left the room to focus on other tasks that needed to be done. Idia had practically thrown him out as the constant reminder of his quickened pulse and high blood pressure only made his anxiety feel worse. He could only stare at himself in the mirror for so long, though he did admire his handiwork as his hair was neatly braided with his brushed aside to prevent his face from being covered. There weren’t many stylists gifted with the ability to style cursed hair and he’d really rather do it himself anyway.
Today was too important for anything to go wrong.
“It’s time!” Ortho floated into the room with an excited look on his face, gesturing to the hall where there would be many people awaiting his arrival. It made his knees knock together as he’s about to be thrown into an ultra-stressful situation, like he was desperately climbing ladders and avoiding barrels to reach a princess who didn’t even want him.
But you did want him, because how else would he have ended up here?
He has a lot to thank Ortho for, including the embarrassing situation that had got you here to begin with. They had been playing a silly little otome game together, meaning Idia was on a CG collecting journey and Ortho was helping him remember which path led where. There was a scene between two main characters where a note was exchanged, something very juvenile with a ‘do you like me, y/n?’ written on it.
“Have you ever tried that?” Idia was carefully reading the dialogue, making sure there were no flags being raised that he was on the wrong route and thus locked out of a precious CG that constantly eluded him due to the specific choices that had to be done in a very specific order and—
“Tried—Eh?” Idia hit his keyboard and accidentally began to skip already seen dialogue, panicking and back tracking to his previous save while Ortho patiently waited next to him. “Wh-what are you saying?”
“Writing a note!” Ortho pointed at the screen where a crudely drawn note was, suddenly looking around the room as he tried to find a physical example for Idia to use. It took some snooping but he found a few crumpled pieces of paper with madman scrawling on only half of it, tearing it apart and handing over the blank piece. “Ask them if they like you, and then I can deliver it! If they say no, you don’t even have to see them!”
It wasn’t like Ortho to indulge in his brother’s extreme introvert nature, and Idia was nearly swayed before remembering it could also implode the fragile balance of his online friend group. You, him, and Crimson Muscle made a formidable group, often being enough to on most raids together so he didn’t have to interact with other idiots online. It was much less painful to speak with you through a screen, knowing he could erase a message over and over until he got it just right. He couldn’t sacrifice that, could he?
He should’ve known Ortho’s mercy was only temporary.
Idia was forced out of the solitude of his room, a luncheon being held to celebrate the hard work of each dorm leader being held. He’d rather eat his own hands than celebrate but Crowley wouldn’t budge, persistent and irritating about the whole ordeal. The only good part was seeing your face in high-def rather than via a pixelated avatar online. He still didn’t sit directly across from you but diagonal was good enough for him; not the center of your attention but just within your peripheral where you could notice him.
“Psst, brother! I brought it!” Idia has a piece of paper hastily shoved into his hand, “I wrote it last night! Now you can give it to them in person for an even quicker response!”
He’s suddenly certain the entire world is conspiring against him, trying not to attract your attention as he frantically responded to Ortho.
“That won’t work!”
“Why not?” Ortho tilted his head in a clueless gesture, “In 4 out of the 6 good ends, the note is the pivotal moment in all of them! The Bad End only triggered if you didn’t build up your characters confidence enough to pass the note in class!”
Ortho is just quiet enough that you can’t make out exactly what he’s saying but you can hear him speaking, your eyebrows raised as you looked at the Shroud brothers. Idia saw the dialogue options appear before his very eyes as reality blended with video games for a moment: he could either pass the note to you now and accept the consequences or allow Ortho to reveal it was from the plot of some 3-star Otome game since he wasn’t creative enough to come up with his own way to confess.
He had tossed the paper at you, watching it land right in your half-open bag before he dashed, moving quicker than his physical body had ever moved before. He’d personally expel himself if Crowley tried to drag him back out of his room, he’d just take his parents business over and that’d be the end of that. He didn’t know how long he’d been curled up on his bed, face in his pillow as he considered just smothering himself rather than facing the light of day again. Life’s built-in autosave meant his fate was sealed and, somehow, he felt even more cursed than before.
Until a note slipped under his door, the side the writing was on turned upward so he could see it from his bed.
A little ‘y’ circled in red ink had led to this.
A grand hall decorated with flowers, STYX employees in their finest clothing filling most of the seats, the smell of expensive but most likely delicious foods just waiting to steal everyone’s attention away. When Idia entered the room he could see some of his and your family, along with a few friends dotted throughout but he can’t look for long as he felt like he might pass out.
He stood tall at the front of the room, glancing at the entry way anxiously, like he was truly afraid a too big primate would come through beating his fists on his chest and kidnapping his lover. He had been in a position like this before, albeit less willingly, and he began to understand now why it was so important to put his feelings out there even with the chance of rejection. A bell chimes and the music begins, and Idia can’t wipe the smile from his face.
The pointed grin remained even as you approached, your expression mirroring his as you smiled right back; he suspected by the end of the night his cheeks would ache with how happy he was, but he supposed he could put up with it for a day, for you.

Hi!!! I love your writings I'm addicted!!!!! Could I maybe request a sniper fic in which the "oh no only one bed" trope encounter (perhaps just in his van) but the reader was already wearing something revealing and it's driving him kind of nuts. He like gets more and more frustrated and eventually just kind of makes a brutally honest move in initiating an intimate moment (if yk what I mean)?? I know it's weirdly specific and idm if you skip this one!!! Also Sniper and the reader were not in a relationship before this encounter. Ty!!!!
I had so much fun writing this one tbh hopefully I was able to faithfully capture what you had envisioned!!!!-- i admit i wrote sniper a wee bit out of character towards the end but that was mostly a plot driven choice for the frustration bit :3 enjoy!!!!
Stake Out (Sniper x fem!Reader)
Sniper didn't understand why he couldn't just be alone. He's never needed another person to watch his back while on a stake-out, and he damn sure doesn't need one now. Admittedly, he's quite frustrated. With you? Not exactly. With the situation? Damn straight. The dead of summer heat left you scantily clad, much to Sniper's detriment. How could he bear to get anything done when you're sitting right here next to him like this, as if on display? You weren't exactly a happy camper, either. You knew Sniper didn't need any help, so you were already prepared to deal with a sour attitude-- but the unbearable heat and the fact that you have no choice but to spend a night together in his one-man van--left you equally as frustrated as the Aussie.
As the afternoon dragged on, you let out an exasperated sigh and turned to your superior. "Is it okay if I take a nap?" You ask meekly, afraid of distracting him as he peered through his scope wordlessly. Sniper pauses a moment, then sets his rifle down. "A nap? Wasn't your whole reason for bein' 'ere to watch my back?" The look on his face sent a shiver down your spine. It was just an innocent question, really! You figured since it was an unspoken fact that the both of you knew you didn't really need to be here, it would be okay if you, well, slacked a bit. You cock your head to the side before testing the waters again. "...yes?" He stared at you with an expression you were unable to read. Was he mad? Was he just pulling your leg? Sniper pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, looking back up at you sternly. "Sure." It was hard to deny that his pent up frustration, among his general discontent with today's circumstances, left him irritable. From the bloody start he just wished he could be alone. None of this would have happened! Now how is he supposed to concentrate with the temptation of your vulnerable, unconscious body left splayed out before him mere feet away?! He shooed you along, allowing you to sleep in the camper while he did a little exercise in self control and maintained watch on enemy territory.
Upon entering, you thought nothing more of your surroundings and crashed on the bed with a soft thud. It was almost too easy to fall asleep, until you shot straight up and felt panic set in. Oh god. This is the only bed in this whole camper. The only viable surface to lay on, period. You were suddenly plagued with the image of a scowling Sniper, and the discomforting silence that hung around the two of you all day. How on earth are we supposed to sleep in this bed together?! The thought of cuddling with your superior after you were sure you just ruined his whole day made you tremble with anxiety. You thought it best to set your worries aside for now to get some rest. Perhaps if you slept now, that meant you could stay up on watch through the night while Mundy got his rest--avoiding the bed predicament entirely. As you pondered on what exactly you'd like to say and played out the interaction in your head, you lulled yourself to sleep with your own thoughts. The heat left you laid out on top of the covers with your sweat-soaked garments hugging your body like a constrictor. Right as you fell asleep, Sniper, with his brief solitude, was able to clear his head and abate his frustration for the time being.
With no new action on the frontier, he decided to take a small break to check on you, making sure you at least were comfortable back there. Sniper knew it wasn't exactly a home, and felt a slight twinge of guilt having such a beautiful girl like you surrounded in his clutter. The Aussie gently knocked before entering still, and was greeted by the sight of you, out cold in a starfish position. He stumbled back, instinctively snatching off his hat and using it to cover his eyes. Guess she made herself comfortable. He thought to himself, hiding his flushed expression behind the slouch hat. Sniper set the hat back on his head, clearing his throat to try and escape the awkward silence between himself and your unconscious form below him. Mundy knew he had no business back here anymore--all he was to do was assure you found yourself alright back there, then he would return to his post. Yet, he found he couldn't bring himself to move. His eyes were glued to your body, as if its beauty had taken hold of him. You could still feel an overbearing presence, even in your unconscious state, which caused you to stir. Sniper inched closer to you, against his better judgment. The pent up frustration from spending a whole afternoon next to you, wearing the least amount of clothing you could get away with...it drove him absolutely mad. Even more so, knowing there was nothing he could do about it--he couldn't make a move, he was a professional after all! ...And professionals have standards. Before finally returning to his post, he hastily covered your limp form with a used towel discarded nearby. Out of sight, out of mind.
The afternoon waned into evening, and not long thereafter plunged the frontier into night. Still no new sights to behold, Sniper quickly wrapped up the stake-out. After notating the last of his findings, he started the van with an exasperated sigh. 'Bout damn time this bloody day's over. I can finally relax. He thought to himself. As he maneuvered the van to a more discrete location, Sniper's thoughts were suddenly interrupted with the damning realization of the sleeping situation. Meanwhile, the engine sounds and sudden sensation of movement woke you from your slumber. You rubbed your eyes as you took a moment to regain awareness, still stuck in the drunken stupor of your slumber. You looked down at the towel serving as your blanket, and couldn't help but notice the familiar musky scent of your superior overwhelming your senses. A light blush dusted your cheeks as you realized this meant Sniper had come in and covered you up. You sat up now, and peered through the blinds of a nearby window. You found yourself lost in admiration of the purplish tranquility of the sleeping desert before you. So much so, that you hadn't noticed the van had stopped, nor the sound of Sniper joining you in the camper.
Upon turning away from the window you shrieked in surprise. "When did you get there?!" You asked, startled from the sudden company of your superior. "Well, if you'd get your head out of the sand you'd've noticed I came in about," He starts, checking his watch for dramatic effect, "5 minutes ago." You rolled your eyes at his attitude while scooting away from the window and pulling the towel back over yourself. "I just don't understand how a dry death-scape can become subzero in just a matter of hours." You remarked, now shuddering from the cold. "Uhh, yeah...about that," Sniper trailed off, his edge now softened by embarrassment. "How d'ya wanna do this? I shouldn't have to state the obvious..." He deliberately avoided eye contact with you as he spoke. Now it was your turn to serve that Aussie attitude right back at him. "What's wrong? The world's greatest sniper is scared of a wittle bed?" His gaze snapped to you, slightly taken aback by your sass. "Whatd'ya just say to me?" Sniper pressed on. His brows were furrowed in growing anticipation and he almost wished you'd keep up your act. Thankfully, you delivered. "You heard me! It's just a bed. Or is it not the bed...is it me? You don't wanna share a bed with me??"
Admittedly, you had no idea where you pulled the confidence from to speak to your superior like this. Perhaps it was just frustration from a day wasted, or dwindling tolerance for his own sour attitude. Whatever it was, you knew you were already so deep in a hole you figured you might as well make it deeper. Sniper moved closer in response to your questioning. "You think I'm scared of a little bed? Or a little girl, no less?!" The gap between the two of you was nonexistent. "No, I'm not scared at all, roo. I figured'ya wanna sleep alone. But I guess I was wrong, yea? You really wanna share a bed?" He threw your sass right back at you and now you were in a corner. Literally-- he towered over you, causing you to scoot back until you met the foot of the bed in question. Sniper pursued, leaving you caged between himself and the bed. "Sure, roo, we can share the bed. Why, let's just go ahead and get right in." He suddenly scooped you into his surprisingly robust arms and sat down on the bed with you still in his embrace.
He held you almost too tight, and you instinctively straddled him. While sitting in his lap, you felt his erection poke the soft flesh between your thighs. Your flushed faces were mere inches apart, and before you could open your mouth to speak, Sniper grabbed the back of your head and pulled you into a fervent, aggressive kiss. It didn't take you long to reciprocate, letting your hands wander along his jawline and neck innocently as he pushed further, now breaching the territory of your mouth with his tongue. The throbbing wetness between your legs begged for reprieve, and you shyly rocked your hips against Sniper's to get the friction you so desperately needed. He broke the kiss, a glinting trail of saliva still connecting the two of you in a depraved, arousing kind of way. Large gloved hands trailed down your sides, one of them finding itself between your legs. Sniper teasingly ghosted his fingers just above, below, and around exactly where you wanted them to be which caused your legs to tremble in anticipation and now-bubbling over arousal. Suddenly, he removed his hand entirely, looking back at you with an impish smirk.
"Scared enough for ya, roo?"

I think you make a good point about how weird it is that Sam didn't mentor Jack about his similar experience of being soulless, but don't you think Cas should have too?
Yes. That was actually one of my first metas here back in 2022: "Cas should've taken the lead on the soullessness situation." Note: My views have evolved somewhat, especially with what is clearly a partnership where Dean is knowingly taking Jack to mentor his crisis and Cas is taking Sam to mentor his crisis, but I still agree with a lot of it.
Particularly this:
Cas spent billions of years as a soulless being. Surely hearing about Cas’s journey throughout that, and hearing about Cas struggling with doing the right thing, regardless of his soul status, would have soothed Jack’s anxiety. He could’ve brought a friendly angel like Anael to see Jack and discussed how souls aren’t the end-all, be-all of existing. Discussed how difficult it is to stay in control of angelic powers and to be careful and tender with the concept of human morality. Dean’s move to visit Donatello was fine and all, but Donny has no grace. Jack is soulless, but he’s not graceless.
Only recently, though, have I really keyed into how Sam tends to default to generic, hand-wavey explanations and tends to avoid personal details, especially in his mentoring and parenting style. Sam's non-reciprocal communication style is a much newer insight for me, one that I started turning over in my brain when I rewatched Tombstone with Jack in mind. Once I saw it, I seemed to keep seeing it. Sam tends to keep a distance, which can sometimes make his heart-to-hearts come off as "therapizing" rather than personal.
While Sam and Dean both manifest shame and perfectionism in different ways, I think Sam's inability to look at his mistakes is definitely tied to his perfectionism. And in 14x19, we see this again: Sam's line about how Dean could see that Jack was a "lost cause from the beginning," rather than breaking down his own specific actions with regards to Jack's condition are, I think, part of the overall trend.
///
But yeah, just as Sam's soullessness positioned him to be a unique sounding board for Jack, so too did Cas's "inherent" soullessness (And Anael's, for that matter. Why couldn't we have more Anael in the bunker why? *cries*)
They didn't *have* to go to Donatello for advice about souls, but I can understand how the "soullessness" periods of their lives are tied up with a lot of painful memories, too. And those are hard as Hell to face.(And I love Donny, you guys know I love Donny, but even he tried to kill them when he was corrupted through the tablet, in part due to his soullessness. To take his word as proof of wellbeing isn't just shortsighted, it's denial in action.)
But on the whole, I think all of TFW has sufficient experience with "losing themselves" and/or "losing their family members," especially in the pursuit of heroics... They could have offered a better united front and guidance on this issue.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Note: I give Mary a half-pass about Jack though, maybe, because as I said, I don't think Mary had any idea what the Hell was going on with Jack in season 14. So she'd have had no reason to share her painful experience of becoming NBK!Mary with him. She tries to offer support in basic ways, though: “We'll help you. We're family. We'll support you. That's what we do." etc)
Conjecture: I suspect that, in typical TFW-fashion, a lot of Jack-resurrection and Jack-eating-Michael details were purposefully hidden from Mary so as to spare her the worry/burden. (The way Dean hid the Ma'lak box plan from Cas and Jack, or how Cas hid the Empty deal from Dean and Sam.)
Something something you want peace for your loved ones, not pain. But sparing an initial pain sometimes makes things worse later. Sigh. It's so hard to find the line! :(
But as a personal aside// it IS a little crunchy/interesting seeing crucial information (potentially) kept from Mary, because Mary is a child-raised soldier-hunter who also prefers to solve things on her own, or hide and evade the truth until shit has already hit the fan. The taste of our own medicine: always bitter.

Hearing how Kuripa is trying to hunt down ASOOT!Hajime, I just feel given what's going on over DTFA; Nagi might not be able to really say or do much given her mission about her finding Utsuro and holy hell, there was more then she bargain for and I think she'll need some tylenol after that massive headache.
Like girl had to not only deal with Void but also the Kisaragi Foundation and her just having this mental breakdown over not just reforming the Remanats of Despairs, the guy she's interested in accepted a project, having Future Foundation breathing down her neck, her former teacher in a position of power, learning she has Divine Luck, Akane Taira deciding to communicate with her and Oh yeah, having to deal with Void and the Kisaragi Foundation's nonsense...
Yeah, girl's really going through it and just needs to rest but I do think Kuripa and Nagi's interactions would be pretty interesting since they seem like polar opposites where one is all violence while the other is mostly avoiding violence, so that be a rather fun interaction. 8P - Mod Poi
Tumblr media
//By the way, this meme applies to both Hajime AND Kyoji for Bubbles, and Kuripa AND Uchui for me.
//Real talk, yeah, I definitely don't talk about Nagi as much as I talk about Hajime and Aliza, but it really is interesting to see how she is kind of the complete antithesis to Kuripa in terms of how they've coped with the pain they've been through.
//Nagi always goes out of her way to help relieve people of their burdens, and I feel in a party of these four MC's, she's the one who manages to remain the most emotionally stable. Meanwhile, Kuripa's way of dealing with his trauma is projecting it through violence, and it drags so many other people down with him.
//Like, you understand his pain and that he's not completely the villain, but he's still a rotten bastard for subjecting people to that.
//From what I know of everyone's blogs aside my own, I do feel like Nagi is the anchor of the trio. When bad things happen to Kuripa and Hajime, they shut themselves out or devolve into an unconscious state of pain if they can't deal with it. Aliza, similarly, while innocent at heart, is not above feeling emotional pain or rage towards people.
//Not to say Nagi doesn't, but the point is she has much more emotional maturity than the other three. Her story literally starts with "Bitch took mah fuckin LEGS!" so she's already come to terms with the idea that crying about it will not make things right.
//Point being that, I genuinely don't see a situation where Nagi could interract with any of the other blog protags and benefit from it. In fact, her conversation with Aliza during Aliza's little post was about NAGI helping HER with her issues.
//It is really...surreal, seeing Nagi have a panic attack, wheras it wouldn't be with the other three. And honestly, it makes me feel a lot of shit, because that's the team mom right there having an emotional breakdown, and it's gutteral.
//Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass and reading this whole thing wrong. You be the judge.
//Unfortunately, as of late, it seems the stars of depression are aligning, because none of our MC's are doing so hot.

Kann you pls make a HC about countess cleo react of her daugthers First Period IT IS very cool If you make it
A/N: Hi - ty for the Request, i hope you like what i made out of it. Some HC about Countess Cleos Daugthers first Periot arrived - right now!
"Life is tough, my darling, but so are you"
Tumblr media
Your mother was in her private office in the Professors' Complex on Vile Island. She was busy with important matters - and so were you! Making a dramatic exit after Tigress's children planned a prank on the Cleaners, and you somehow got a stomachache and a completely different, strange feeling, almost as if you'd forgotten how to go to the bathroom in time, but that was impossible… Long story short, you got your period - yay - welcome to the world of grown women… now all that's left is to let your mother - Countess Cleo - know about it.
#. When you drew the villain's attention with the words, "Mommy, something's happened and I need your help," Cleo expected a lot…but not the revelation that her little girl, the perfect little society lady, was a wonderful noble descendant who would one day inherit Cleo's inheritance…now officially a grown lady in the biological sense? Cleo was speechless. Absolutely speechless.
#. "Darling welcome to Womenhood! Let your Mommy hug you, before you getting all moody and annoyed - for real if you ever backtalk to me while having your Strawberry Week, you going to regrett it Sweetheart!" - Cleo said before putting the Paper Work down on the table and pulling you in an almost proud hug.
#.Of course, the talk followed a moment later. But you surprise your mother by saying that you and the other VILE teenage kids found a book about bees and flowers in Black Sheep's old room (actually just a totally basic book for 10-year-olds called "My Body When I Grow Up"). And of course, during the conversation, your mother still goes on about how much better women we are and how it's wonderful…to get your period now - even if it comes with pain…cravings, mood swings, and a little bit of blood loss.
#. Speaking of blood, she's prepared for this moment. Not only because Cleo is in the prime of her life, but also because she's a little perfectionist, a fashion icon, and arguably the BEST mom on the whole island! Tampons, sanitary pads, period pads, period underwear, intimate wash gel, heat patches, and Cleo even runs you a bath, lights scented candles, and plays relaxing music in the bathroom… while she gives you precise instructions on how to use the supplies later and how it's important to mentally put all the stress aside. She may have been a little more excited about this teenage milestone than you were… but you really appreciate your mom's care (and that she sacrificed one of her absolute favorite scented candles for you! Cleo rarely does that).
#. After you've been taken care of and are trying to come to terms with these new emotions and the strange feeling of this…period…, your mother starts talking about her youth…about ancient Egyptian traditions and the power women had in ancient Egypt. There was even a funny anecdote about an incident from your mother's school days. It was an easy, relaxed conversation and you can clearly sense the familial security that your mother gives you, despite the often cold game in everyday life…Cleo is proud of her daughter and this realization makes you proud…somehow.
#. However, Cleo also advises you not to be one of those weak girls who exploit their period for any purpose to avoid truly evil work. "You can be strong no matter what your situation is, darling," Cleo says emphatically. After all, with you as a daughter, she didn't give birth to someone who gives up when things get tough.
#. But if you ever want to annoy Coach Brunt, you can play that card every now and then, Cleo reveals with a wink and taps away on her phone. When you ask what exactly she's doing, Cleo answers without hesitation: "I'm telling Sara about this happy event! She owes me our bet. She bet one of Tigress's children would get her period first… I bet against it. Oh, by the way, Sara is working on a cure for abdominal cramps… but you know her experiments, if she offers you something promising… refuse…"
#. Cleo then gets a little emotional while you discuss the details for a mother-daughter movie night that same day and starts talking with tears in her eyes about how it was only yesterday that you were following her around like a baby chicken and it must have been just last week that you committed your very first fashion theft - maybe ONE of you is having trouble accepting change?
#....she gave you all the motherly love a Teenager in your position could deal with, she barked at the Cleaners to get some damn Choclate from Switzerland on the VILE Island and that Evening you watched some super stereo-type Movies that dealt with first Periods-Humor-Romance Story Plot Thing. (Movies like To all the Boys i loved before, Mean Girls, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Ghostbusters, Pretty little Liars etc)
#. Before Countess Cleo left your Room with the now empty Popcorn Bucket in her Hands, she gave you some Advice for future Period Monthly Situations.
#. ...and this Words of Advice were - "Life is tough, my darling, but so are you"

1,2,10,20 for Espio & Silver 👀
Espio
What good/bad traits do they bring out in others?
I think Espio's strong focus and calm demeanour helps other people keep a calm head in stressful situations as well. He is a skilled ninja trained in combat and seeks out thrills for the heck of it; I think when it comes to fighting with enemies, he's not easily fazed. Thus, in such situations I think he'd be a stable and reliable ally, which helps other people to keep a calm head as well. As for bad traits... hm. I think he can be quite bickery with Vector and Charmy at times, haha!
2. What views do they have that differ from/contradict those of the other characters?
Compared to Vector and Charmy, he's definitely a lot less trusting and more wary, haha! Plus, though the Sonic cast as a whole is definitely not above fighting and violence, he can be quite extreme in how he expresses it, as seen in Sonic Heroes. That could be a differing view.
10. How do they act in their worst moments?
I think Espio is incredibly stubborn to the point of being obstinate at times, with the occasional haughty "But Of Course I Was Right" demeanour after he's been roped along with Vector's plans and everything went wrong. So I think he can be quite uncompromising and smug in those situations. And I think he can be quite sulky when that get disproven again, and his image as incredibly cool and skilled ninja takes a blow.
20. How do they view death?
Good question... Perhaps as an inevitability that nobody and nothing can avoid, which he thus treats with due respect? Not that it stops him from throwing himself right into the fry whenever he sees fit, haha!
Silver:
What good/bad traits do they bring out in others?
TO SONIC CHANNEL🚀
Apparently that they want to watch over him and want to cheer him on forever, which, yes <3 <3 He's also described as a reliable ally to Sonic, but someone who does tend to put things on his own shoulders too much. Thus, people want to help him and be there for him, it seems like! And I think in turn Silver gives them a helping hand with no strings attached whenever they need it. He's a sweetheart like that <3
And for bad traits: Silver can be a nuisance. Someone who randomly materialises behind you and then starts cussing you out all of a sudden for being in the way or not being helpful, a la Rivals 1 and 2. Thus, he elicits plenty of annoyances from other people at times, not unjustifiably so. Even Sonic said Silver was getting on his nerves once; that's an accomplishment!
2. What views do they have that differ from/contradict those of the other characters?
I think out of the entire cast, Silver is by far the most concerned about the state of the future and what it could be like after a big adventure. It makes sense since he lives there and all, but the others seem a bit more short-term focused in comparison. That aside, I would say he's definitely 100% down for violence and murder should he see the need for that, but characters like Shadow and Espio don't seem too bothered by that either, so I wouldn't say it's that big a contradicting view, haha.
10. How do they act in their worst moments?
Nuisance-y XD Unable to be reasoned with, unwilling to explain himself, impatient, loud-mouthed and insulting, and acting far too independent considering what his end goal is and how he can best achieve that. And then when he does backtrack and tells other characters that hey, there's more going on than you know here, we shouldn't do X but instead Y because of that, it falls flat and they don't listen anymore. Poor communication kills and all that!
20. How do they view death?
I don't think Silver is someone who'd really give himself time to go ponder that all over, to be honest. He's got better things to do than think about what's going to happen when he dies; the best way to prevent anything bad from happening is just not dying, and thus that's what he's gonna do, I can easily see his reasoning be. I don't think he'd see death as insignificant, but it's definitely not something that's going to stop him!

MUU THEORY/ANALYSIS
The COLORED is the thoughts of a friend of mine. The rest is me expanding on their thoughts!!!
The main interpretation I see is that what we saw in After Pain and Mu's more timid behavior is an act, this is a good interpretation! but my main thoughts after seeing It's Not My Fault were that it's perfectly possible for both of Mu's videos to exist together in the same timeline
1- I think it's worth noting in Mu's first drama audio she's panicked and quiet at first, needing to be reassured that she won't be hurt. This is fully reasonable, she's in Milgram lol. But I do think it's worth noting that while, as many have pointed out, her "I never did anything wrong" mentality was always there, it primarily comes out after she is questioned about her murder directly
2- in It's Not My Fault, Mu's eyes are green like they normally are until after her murder, in which they become pink and blue for a shot.
3- After that, her bug version is shown emerging from a cocoon
In my head currently, Mu was part of a group of friends that picked on another student, then Mu had the situation flipped on her. The repeated mention of sorry not reaching anyone is related to that, with her classmates possibly not caring that she's being bullied because she was once a bully herself, despite her remorse for her actions. She reaches out to the girl in forgot the name of who from here on will be called A, because A stood up for the girl her group picked on in the past, or at the very least openly expressed disgust for their actions while they were still ongoing. A pulls away, deeming her unforgivable for what she's done (heh), and Mu, as we all know, kills her. I think it's perfectly expected for Mu to withdraw into a the personality she had when she was the bully on not the one being bullied. After all, she spent an unknowable amount of time being punished excessively while actively repenting. Sorry never reached anyone, so why would she return to that?
Basically my point is I don't really see Mu's timid behavior as a front, I see the opposite, in which her smug, avoidant behavior is the front. The front which Mu herself either is unaware of or unable to acknowledge, to the point where it's just another part of her psyche.
Was the innocent verdict pushing her further into this? Yes. Do I think another innocent verdict would help her? No. Do I think her guilty verdict will help her? Hell fucking no.
(hey, hey!! Mairu's thoughts on this start here)
Yeah, so- in one of her voice dramas (i cant remember which) she also adamantly explains that she never PHYSICALLY bullied anyone, which was clearly what she had done to her.
and then there’s the whole theory of Muu being in love with Rei which i am a FIRM BELIEVER IN!!!
Aside from all the results of the bullying both two and from Muu, we never get a true reason for why they’re being bullied- and as a kid who was been bullied my entire life i have my theories about that. My theory is that, Rei was always out as being gay/bi, and therefore received bullying over that. Muu was in the closet at the time, and upon realizing her friends were making fun of Rei for the same thing thought she HAD to join in because she didn’t want her friends to reject her and to lose her place as the popular girl, but over time she had a crush on Rei. I feel like i don’t have to explain my reasoning for this because she literally says ‘i love you’ while looking directly at Rei. That said, she felt guilty for bullying rei and eventually confessed. Rei always viewed Muu as one of the bullies, and rejected her, leading to Muu getting bullied by her friends. She desperately asks Rei for help and apologizes in hopes that the bullying would stop, but to no avail and over time starts blaming Rei- and, driven crazy by the bullying… yk. killed her.
again, thats all just theorizing, but it doesn’t make sense that people were getting bullied over nothing- when you get bullied, they’re always making fun of specific. and from first hand experience, its pretty common to be bullied for being gay and much more plausible than any of the other theories regarding why Rei was bullied.
All that said, this would give more backing to the idea that the confident queen bee Muu was really just a front, and the Muu we saw in after pain was the real her. We can’t exactly blame her for believing in the delusion she did nothing wrong after trial one since she was in a terrible mental state and wouldn’t have been able to process the information properly regardless.

neutrality is a much greater threat than taking a side. you can't create balance by putting your two feet in separate boats which ultimately are sailing in opposite directions. your heart is in the right place but instead of using your empathy outwardly to help your fellow people, you are using it to appease yourself and absolve yourself of responsibility. your empathy should not remain a feeling but should transform into action. otherwise your empathy holds no value if it can't be felt by the people you have empathy for. which they can only feel if you do something with your empathy. for them.
if you have the ability to recognize the hateful intentions and actions of hindutva extremists, why then are you saying that the only solution is "karma"? that they will get karma'd? i get that you're religious and all. but ultimately isn't leaving fate to god also inaction, avoidance, irresponsibility. god did not save the jews, and if conscious hindus make excuses like "karma", guess what, god will not be able to save our muslims either.
all this to say, abeyyaaar is right. and you are being wrongly defensive.
"all lives matter" as a slogan would have made sense had there been someone who was denying that notion. but who's denying this stance? no one. all lives matter is a given. hell it is a right. but wonder why activists say "black lives matter", "muslim lives matter", "indigenous lives matter" and why that is important? because the status quo is not in compliance with these beliefs. that is why. muslim people, black people, their inherent right to live, right to be is threatened under the current society. which is why these slogans are raised. because they are not mere beliefs, but demands for something that doesn't exist, something that isn't just a given, yet. get it now?
leftists are not angry. we leftists are afraid. history is about recognizing patterns. and when our powerful politicians demonize maginalized communities, when our foreign minister praises majoritarianism in a country where hate crimes are surging, history would tell us that such happenings form the foundation for some really dark events. dark events like the ones that, well, you know. all of which were avoidable had these "neutral" bystanders hadn't been so neutral about literal hate crimes and discrimination.
you cannot look at the ram temple by ignoring the context in which it has been constructed. you cannot separate muslim suffering from the ram temple just so you as a hindu can enjoy your religion in a bubble. when you separate the two, you are undermining the former. temples should always have way less value than actual human life. if something i like has come at the cost of a whole community i'd be very appalled and disgusted. and ashamed of the people who weaponize my religion for political gains.
okay this was long um. but i hope this msg wasn't in vain.
to remind you the infamous quote by south african activist Desmond Tutu, "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."
First of all I'm neutral when it comes to lives, not when it comes to sides. Ik the quote very well "nobody is a bystander in a war of Dharma"
If I were born some time ago in history, I'd be against invaders and colonizers but today I'm against violent fascists (be it Hindu/Muslim like in Ram mandir's case it's some Hindus)
I never said karma is the "only solution" but isn't it your karma only when you fight for rights?
When I say neutrality I use it as a perspective for other Hindus to cast aside extremist religious sentiments for a moment and see for what's actually happening and thereby translating it into support
It is not question of religion/taking sides after a point but the question of humanity which can only be raised when people start asking like Arjun asked Krishna in the dilemma of war
I see Palestine and am horrified, no matter what the complicated history of a land is, nobody has the right to commit a genocide
I stand with the oppressed

Omg Stormy the tags you put in your response. It took me a minute to realize what you meant and then I just covered my face and giggled like a schoolgirl. Now I NEED that, and it had me thinking how it would happen and I might have figured out a way.
o!Sky would still be having his urges, right? Which would mean he'd still be having his heat. I'm not saying they do it during his heat of course because we all know Sky would NOT be of the right mind to consent, but that being said--I know Sky suddenly going into heat would have the whole house in an uproar because "whoa, what the hell is going on with our new roomie? and why the hell does it smell like that?" And Time's gonna want a way to avoid ~that~ happening again or to at least help Sky when he learns that there is no way to avoid it, for the peace of the household and for Sky's comfort. I know o!Sky and his Time are bonded so it would be him that Sky actually wants (unless I'm misunderstanding heats, it's been a minute since I've read through the series) but maybe the souls are close enough that the bonds could be appeased by Townhouse!Time anyway. Of course it would take a lot for Sky to even entertain the idea, if he even would. But I just thought that would be an interesting situation/perhaps solution.
That being said, I don't even know if Time would survive a heat. That man is not built for marathon sex of that caliber which is also a really funny image.
We're referring to this ask, of course.
Funnily enough the reason I didn't respond to this ask immediately was because I fell down the "how often do people die during sex anyway" and found that (1) men die more often during consensual sex, who's surprised, and (2) even so, deaths during consensual sex equal less than 1% of all sudden deaths. Causes tend to be cardiovascular and again, who's surprised that sildenafil (Viagra) is thought to play a role for two reasons:
It's a phosphodiesterase inhibitor (PDE-5). For those of you lucky enough to have never suffered through pharmacology, the original intended purpose of this medication was to treat pulmonary hypertension, which can negatively impact heart function. Inhibition of PDE-5 induces relaxation of smooth (or involuntary) muscle, such as those muscles in the vessels of the body, but there's something called 'too much of a good thing' and you can cause problematic levels of hypotension with this medication. (The same mechanism that addresses pulmonary hypertension also happens to have fortuitous effects in the corpus cavernosum, or the spongy erectile tissues in the penis, hence sildenafil was able to be marked in two ways.)
Many but not all men who need sildenafil for their extracurricular activities may be infirm in other ways. Perhaps the vigorous workout of sex was just a bit too much for them, or maybe it was their time.
Anyway, setting my physio nerd hat aside, I'm not sure HSH!Time would survive a heat alone--meaning, without divvying up o!Sky's needs with other participants. At best, his jaw is going to get a wicked cramp. At worst, he might need to spend two weeks or so out of the saddle afterward trying to recoup his, erm, functionality. At worst-worst, well, at least he died doing what he loved?? I suppose???
My hc regarding alphas/omegas and those from other universes is that there's not a whole lot of characteristic cross-over when it comes to things like scent or sexual performance. There's a high likelihood, in fact, that o!Sky might just always smell weird af and/or downright bad to those who aren't of omegaverse origin.
As far as Sky's preferences during heat, while anyone he's willing to be with can certainly help him through it, only alpha!Time can fill that void and bring him the greatest relief.

About me
I'm an introvert who is a huge dork at heart. I love spending time in nature (particularly the forest), reading and writing, learning new things (particularly about languages/linguistics, anthropology and history, mythology and different religions), going to the theatre and opera, listening to outdated music and playing with my dog.
I consider myself a (female) bisexual dominant stone top, meaning I like being in charge and making my subs feel good but I do not enjoy being on the receiving end of any sort of penetration and most other sex acts. I'm interested in both male and female subs with a preference for other women.
What I'm looking for on here:
Friends or a long-term romantic relationship (I'm not interested in polyamory but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if my partner was). I'm not interested in casual play at all and I will only engage in D/s with a romantic partner.
What I'm looking for in a partner:
looking for a long-term romantic relationship
in my age range (~ 21-35, roughly)
I'm very attracted to people who are just good (kind, helpful). I don’t need someone to be the smartest person or the most confident or the funniest, just try to be the kindest version of yourself you can be.
good communication, willingness to listen and speak up if there are problems
mutual respect (especially when it comes to personal boundaries) and trust
willingness to compromise
strong sense of self and independence, maturity
overall emotional connection
I adore gentle people and even those who are a bit shy.
"naturally submissive" as in not just looking to have a certain kink fulfilled but who is happy to let me take charge in the bedroom
feminist/feminist ally
has done their homework with regards to kink -- it's fine to be inexperienced (I am as well) but I would hope any person wanting to engage in kink has at least done some research
someone who doesn't view me as a "kink dispenser" and sees me as a human being who is flawed and imperfect just like everyone else
Me as a partner:
Of course, it's a bit silly to just write a whole essay about what I am like in a relationship so I'm not going to do that and just hope my positive qualities will become clear during actual conversation. :)
That being said, I try to embody all of the traits I look for in a partner myself (kindness, empathy, independence, maturity, mutual respect, loyalty, honesty...). Since my biggest love languages are Acts of Service and Quality Time, it's important to me to put aside time for my partner and really focus on them as well as performing small acts that make them happy, such as getting their favourite drink from the coffee shop or helping them with a task they've been struggling with.
I also try to actively improve myself, mostly by journaling (doing shadow work), meditating and going to therapy.
One of the things I'm still working on is my tendency to withdraw when I'm stressed and wanting to solve all my problems by myself.
I'm also still finishing up university right now, so in case of a potential long-distance relationship, I don't know what my situation will look like in a year or so. Ideally, my partner would be open to re-locating to Germany.
One last thing to note is that I've only had relationships with other women before but I am bisexual so I'm open to men as well. I've mostly avoided dating men because I am a stone top and I figured most men wouldn't be into that and because I don't enjoy all of the gender roles and expectations in straight relationships. Let me buy a beautiful boy flowers if I want to!
Me as a domme:
I don't have much experience with domming per se but I have been a stone top in all of my previous relationships. I learnt that I like being the "active" partner, the one who does things rather than being the one who gets acted upon. I don't enjoy being penetrated at all, I would be okay with receiving cunnilingus but frankly, my sexuality is more focused on my partner and making them feel good. That's why long-term chastity/orgasm denial doesn't interest me, I enjoy making my partner come too much to be satisfied with that.
In general, I would consider myself more along the lines of a gentle domme, I'm very into giving praise and taking care of my partner in the bedroom. I don't like being harsh at all and I do not want to insult/degrade my sub (making them fell embarrassed is another matter entirely -- especially if my sub becomes flustered because of the praise I heap onto them).
I think there are two overall "schools" of femdom, with the focus either being on the sub or the dom and of course most people fall somewhere in the middle. I consider "dom-focused" to be acts like a sub attending to their domme in the bath or performing body worship on them or admiring their beauty while "sub-focused" would be the reverse of that -- it can also be a dominant act to want to care for a sub. I'm more in the latter camp, I want to adore my sub and it's important to me that they are okay with being the object of my affection (and desire).
My ideal dynamic:
The most important thing I crave in a dynamic is being able to feel like I'm taking care of my sub in some manner. I love providing pleasure and making them feel 'safe'.
I'm also looking for a mostly bedroom-only dynamic. I don't mind having a couple of general rules if that's something my partner is interested in but I don't think the 24/7 high protocol life is for me. I want my partner to still feel like an equal outside of kink.
My ideal dynamic would involve a lot of mutual reassurance and communication. I would love to be with someone I feel safe exploring with, someone that makes it easy to just be myself and where I don't have to worry about not meeting their expectations. I also want to hear my partner's thoughts about everything, they need to let me know what they like/dislike and generally have an open communication style.
I also like it when my subs show some initiative, especially in the beginning when we're both still trying to figure out the other I think it's so important to know that this is what they want.
Occasional bratting can be fun but more for when the dynamic is actually established. Right in the beginning I think I would lose my confidence as a domme too much if my sub constantly sassed me and I felt I had to always "make" them do things rather than them being excited about obeying me. I'm also more generally interested in obedience, there is something very beautiful about someone giving me this "gift" of their obedience.
Now for some specific insights:
a dream would be to be able to dress my subs, decide what outfit they'll wear for the day and what clothes to buy when out shopping. For long-distance it would even be fun to receive an "outfit of the day" selfie
I'm looking for a good girl/boy to shower with attention and take care of (while they are still a mature/capable adult outside of the bedroom)
I love obedience and "casual" non-sexual submission, especially a sub kneeling before me while I run my fingers through their hair, maybe hand feed them a snack if they get hungry.
I don't really like gender roles, I look quite traditionally feminine and I'm usually attracted to feminine women and masculine men but when it comes to behaviour, I do not like to stick to certain requirements. I like opening doors for my sub but I also love it when they offer me their arm so I can hold it and steer them where I want to go
I enjoy giving a lot of praise, maybe even in a slightly patronising/condescending way during a scene but I'm not overly fond of degradation. Some slight verbal humiliation would be okay for me but I honestly prefer giving praise.
Kinks
praise
pegging/strap on use
toys
spanking
fingering
overstimulation
edging
pet names
collars/leashes
kneeling
handcuffs/soft bondage
shibari
obedience +devotion
shy subs
body worship (giving)
size kink
fingers in mouth
marking/biting
fucking machine
remote controlled toys
anal
free use
...
Limits:
ABDL, age regression
incest (simulated or otherwise)
watersports, scat
feederism
sissy, feminization (not because I don't like feminine men but because it often tends towards being misogynistic as in "being feminine makes me feel submissive")
cuckolding
forced bi
chastity (short term denial or edging is okay but I would lose interest if I didn't get to see my sub come regularly <3)
degradation (I don't mind making a sub feel embarrassed about something but I prefer praise to insults)
any fetishes that are based in misogyny, homophobia or racism

over the garden wall
My daughter is finally old enough to watch this show! It's a great little October miniseries. Spoilers below.
Wirt is super burned. He's insecure, has no idea what to do, and just lets everyone boss him around. The only time he seems confident in a decision is when he is about to agree to the Beast's deal. He suddenly stops and just says, "Wait; that's dumb." I think he follows the pattern of a Burned Lion modeling Bird. His secondary was a bit tricky. I wondered if he was a Badger because he asks for help a lot and kind of enjoys the manual labor in Pittsfield. But I think he's a Bird secondary stuck in a world where his skills aren't useful and back home, he thinks they're embarrassing. He easily is able to use his clarinet skills to play the bassoon. He makes Sara a mix tape. Greg and his stepdad both encourage him to join the band. He knows a lot about architectural design styles.
Tumblr media
Greg is a very unburned Lion Snake. Aside from the blended family drama, I think this is why he gets on Wirt's nerves so much. He never loses faith. He wants to "make the world a better place" but doesn't seem to get attached to any of the people they meet. I'm really bad at sorting Snakes (including myself 🙃). But Greg is very creative and random and will solve problems by improvising, using whatever he sees lying around. He does lie, but mostly in a silly/joking way. "We're here to burgle your turts!"
Tumblr media
Beatrice is a Snake primary. She only cares about turning herself and her family human, saying she would do anything to save them. She feels bad about tricking Wirt and Greg only after they become friends. I think she is a Snake secondary who spends a lot of time in neutral. You could argue that she has to trick the boys, but she also uses Snake for little things like getting two pennies from the tea guy. She creates this whole elaborate deception when they could have just asked or offered to do a job for him. When it comes to trouble, before coming to care for the boys she often avoids the obstacle by flying away. Instead of coming clean to them when she's changed her mind, she tries to secretly handle the situation by making a deal with Adelaide.
Tumblr media
The Beast is a Double Snake. He only cares about keeping himself alive through the lantern and he uses trickery and manipulation.

Even aside from how funny the snw/lwd crossover was, it spoke to me as somebody who has been irritated with the fandom (that i can avoid less and less these days because of algorithms).
Lower Decks has often been described as what would happen if star trek nerds got to actually be in starfleet. The quad of main characters are Massive starfleet nerds, and they also represent the fans who are more technical about it with their appreciation for ship models and engineering, but also the ones who’re fannish over the characters as well.
So Boimler and Mariner going back in time to see these characters and being freaked out and disappointed that most of them are not the people they learnt about in the history books was Soothing.
Pike and Una, the oldest of the bunch were more or less how Boimler and Mariner were expecting. They’ve already Done a lot of the things they’re famous for even if they’ve not done all of them.
But the younger ones whose stories we as the audience already know from other trek shows were not how they thought they would be. They are young, this is a prequel, the aim of a prequel is to explain how the story/characters ended up how they are when you meet them in the original media. Therefore, they’re not done cooking yet and are different right now.
The differences in Spock and Uhura whom were most focused on were noted in different ways, Boimler was freaked out about Spock’s newfound decision to try and explore his emotions simply because this part of his story never hit a history book. Mariner told uhura how she’s remembered by history and some of it fit and some of it didn’t simply because Uhura’s still really young and she’s not grown to be the person she will yet.
And Boimler was cut up about this at first, it took some time for him to come to terms with the fact that the stories he’d read about these people did not show him everything about them. Mariner had a different reaction, she saw Uhura is young and has so much to come that maybe she just needs a little help. But in the end they both saw the same thing.
And i’ve been perpetually irritated by both the ‘they’re trying so hard to be tos and failing’ and the ‘why are they so different to tos this is bad characterisation’ crowds bc both fail to miss the point that A) this show is not trying to be TOS, it’s trying to write a story that will eventually Lead to TOS which is an entirely different thing, and B) no it’s not TOS on Purpose and the stories are as they are because it would be bad writing of a TV show, and in general a poor understanding of human growth and evolution, to do carbon copies of the OG characters and put them in all these situations and not have them evolve at all during the whole show.
They’re not supposed to be like their future selves. They’re supposed to evolve Into them, which is an entirely different assignment and one they’re not failing at imo. If you judge the show for doing something it’s not trying to do, of course it’ll get a fail grade.
I like lower decks bc for how silly it is, it is also smart. I think this episode was a very concise addressing some of the unfair complaints aimed at SNW while Also connecting to the SNW characters’ plots and being a wild funny ride at the same time. SNW is a prequel, the thing about prequels is they have to balance being able to develop characters to write a good show with engaging stories in its own right, but Have to end at a fixed point. If audiences won’t acknowledge that they won’t see the people they’re familiar with acting the way they’re used to until the end of the prequel, then everybody is gonna go around in circles.
It’s a prequel and it’s acting like one, nobody has to Like prequels but it’s doing its job as one just fine.
