Your comfort character is so proud of you too. They're so happy you exist, and they're waiting for you. They're ready for your next adventure, your next story. They're waiting for you to read about their lives and their romances. They're so excited! What's it going to be today? Found family? A/B/O? enemies to lovers? Whatever it is that helps you through the day, I'm so glad it does. Remember, if there is an infinite number of universes, then there's a universe where your comfort character adores you beyond anything else. No matter what your brain is telling you, I promise you are loved, you are important, and you matter.

Remember your comfort character believes in you and so do I, the girl who's scrolling with you, giving you a safe place to land. If you need a friend I'm here, if you need somewhere to vent, someone to gush about characters to, I'm here. I hope tomorrow is better than today and that you remember how loved you are. At what point are some of y’all gonna admit that you don’t actually like the show, only the fanfiction world you’ve built on AO3?

When you’ve gotta filter content and block the tags for half the characters on the show because you don’t like their canon relationships— because you’d rather they be in different pairings— then you don’t like the plot of the show. If canon upsets you this much because it’s not your fanfiction fantasy, then you don’t like the show. Maddie and Chimney getting married is part of the plot. Hen and Karen adopting kids is part of the plot. Buck and Tommy dating is part of the plot. Bobby and Athena finding a second chance is part of the plot.

I saw things about 911 and I knew people shipped Buddie and I wasn’t going to watch it. I was just going to watch from the sidelines as the fans shipped it and posted content. Because I wasn’t getting pulled into that again after Supernatural.

And then the thing happened, you all know what thing I’m talking about. The kiss. (I’m not getting specific just in case, but I’m pretty sure everyone knows at this point anyway) And I was like that’s awesome, but still not the ship. And I was more tempted to watch it, but still content to watch from the sidelines. And then I heard about the backlash.

Apparently some people were upset about it and were going to stop watching because of it. And was like well now I have to go watch it to show support so that the producers know people support it.

And so now I’m watching it. So here we are.

Made this post just after spn Denver con after a certain J duo tried to ungay the Angel's declaration during their panel. Also during that time Oliver was having a fight of his own with homophobic fans because he was all about Buddie. Mind you, I haven't watched 9-1-1 since the 2nd season, but I was still keeping up with will or won't they with Buddie.
