At what point are some of y’all gonna admit that you don’t actually like the show, only the fanfiction world you’ve built on AO3?

When you’ve gotta filter content and block the tags for half the characters on the show because you don’t like their canon relationships— because you’d rather they be in different pairings— then you don’t like the plot of the show. If canon upsets you this much because it’s not your fanfiction fantasy, then you don’t like the show. Maddie and Chimney getting married is part of the plot. Hen and Karen adopting kids is part of the plot. Buck and Tommy dating is part of the plot. Bobby and Athena finding a second chance is part of the plot.

I feel like chapter 3 would be so intense in Temari's pov especially towards the end where she confessed and then discovered and then...decided. I'm sorry you have to listen to my whim but have you ever think about it? Writing some parts in her pov in the future?

It definitely would be a suuuuuper interesting exercise to write that entire night from her point of view. A really tough dissection of where she began to where she ended (confession, discovery, decision). I definitely think about it! I worked through a lot of different iterations of how exactly it went down before settling on this one (which I think @myblogmyrulesmymess (my life long beta) called the most confusing paragraph I'd ever written 😂😂😭).

That said, I have no plans to actually write out her pov! If that changes, I will let you know!!!

I hate cleaning around people and people cleaning around me so I try to keep that in mind. I was trying to wait to go up the stairs as Murble was vacuuming somewhere above me but it was taking too long and I was pretty sure she wasn’t on the stairs so I headed up. Back in 2017 I signed up for one of the Cards Against Humanity sillies and did their Cards Against Humanity Saves America. Basically they were like fuck Tr*mp and his border wall and used the funds from the campaign to buy land and to make all 150,000 contributors part owners of said land across the US/Mexico border.

It was fun and silly and I got a little certificate.

Today I got an email that Elon Musk illegally annexed that land for SpaceX and that CAH are suing him over it. So possibly I’ll get like $100 if they manage to win a lawsuit and stick it to Musk. It’s like even more bang for my original buck.

i love being married to a straight guy. this morning we were parallel chilling and i glance at his computer and he's watching a drill fight tournament. as in, guys attaching drills to the same rod and turning them on until one breaks. to find the strongest drill. jose noticed me staring and rolled out of the way so i could see the screen. he knew every drill brand and told me their quality and price. i watched the whole thing without comment. the violence was enchanting. i never would have found this. he's a vector to an entirely alien, often beautiful, world.
