(obviously what happens next is that the Doctor tries to borrow Jack’s vortex manipulator because she left her TARDIS on a planet of bugs or some such. Jack gets distracted hitting on Ryan)

Why is it the BEST THING EVER: I requested art for this poem for ArtYuletide - the poem’s one of my favourites by Billy Collins. I didn’t think my artist would pick this prompt option at all, and if they did, I thought maybe I’d get one pic of the barking dog. But it’s a whole amazing COMIC and it’s absolutely the BEST THING EVER!  It’s a perfect rendition of the poem, funny and amazing, with great, quirky details like the dog’s expressions and the orchestra members waiting respectfully. It doesn’t matter if you hate poetry and have never heard of Billy Collins, this is still so great, and it brings Collins’ poem to life. I love it to bits. Thank you for sharing this manga, I enjoyed it a lot! The frame narrative that these are all being told by the same storyteller is fun but my favorite spin on it was definitely the story where Shiranui's the one listening to the kappa tell her side of things. So here he is interviewing the Corner-san kid. Hope your winter holiday of choice was enjoyable, and here's to surviving 2019.
