Now that I'm done with @kyraensui 's Haggar costume I can start on other things I was asked to do whoops. A Kanan cosplayer I know asked if I'd be willing to do a patch for him after seeing the one I had on my jacket at Fanime (and the one I made for an amazing Ahsoka cosplayer) and really I can't deny rebeldad anything. This is where I stop for the night though as I work at 5am whoops.

Version 2 is a go. Still need to do some cleanup around the edges but straight stitches are difficult when you're also in the process of taking someone's Rogue One virginity and they’re “eeeeee”ing at you. My hand is still cramping because LOL embroidery.

Things I did do this time that I didn’t do last time: not freehand the design, actually made sure stitches were more or less in the same direction for each section ....

I may still cut it down further but it's dooooone. Now I just need to attach it to my jacket...

It has been a Really Long Time since I have done any embroidery whatsoever. Maybe next time not freehanding would be a good idea and maybe also remembering that stitching in the same direction = good.

When you gotta let your best girl go to SWC in style.  Initial test run of the shirt I’m making for @aheartmadeofkyber. I wanted to make sure the design would work when I do it in violent pink on hers. You get my area rug in this only because it was the only way to balance the colors enough for it to show up as blue in my shitty living room lighting. whoops.
