Dotted tree noodle ———— Good Evening Folks! A new week - A new artwork! And this time, it’s also a traditional art piece :D Horray. I am honest with you, I really missed doing traditional art. Although, digital is nice, I must say, the haptic feeling of traditional is something different. Maybe I am just like this. Like the feeling of texture and stuff. Anyway, I am honest with you, I have a lot of #scrawlrboxes laying around on my desk. It’s just, I hadn’t the energy to going them through. But this year I have some energy again and I picked random a box. And it was the #097 box, with the #frisk acrylic markers and I also did the #scrawlrchallenge Claws and Paws. What couldn’t be more fitting, than a cute and colourful tree dragon.

I liked to work with this Markers. When I am thinking about, I had always fun with acrylic markers. Also I really love this art piece. It’s so colourful and vibrant :). So I finally finished my @ArtSnacks piece! 🥨

This was made using two of their “Blind Date” boxes I opened back in February: “Mixed Media Muse” & “Paint Lover.” For my first art box experiences, I had a pretty good time! 🎨🖌

The dream catcher ———— Heyho my fellow people Oh wow, another artwork this week! Nice :D. Well I must say, working with dry media, doesn’t take so long than with other media. Okay to be fair, with soft pastels, you can fill the space faster than with colour pencils for example. This time I  picked another random #scrawlrbox and I think it’s the November/099 box. It contained some soft pastels from #fabercastell and also I did the #scrawlrchallenge dream catcher. I design another dragon again. It’s like a dream dragon that catch and collect dream orbs. This little fellow guards his latest catch, but saw more tiny dreams. Maybe it will get them, who knows. P.S.: Although, I had fun working with the soft pastels. Here is an info card that tells you more about the Orange Art Box.

The art supplies in this box were nicely wrapped in violet tissue paper. We were delighted to see some very age appropriate supplies for our kids!

Inside the info booklet, we saw that the theme of this month's box was Self Portraits.

There is a materials listing in the box. This box included: Two 8x10 canvases Paint Set Paint Pallette Set of Paint Brushes Foam Paint Brush Smile Script Sign Colored Pencil Crayons Coloring and Sketch Book Bookmarks Paper Art Mat

The booklet shows you how you can mix various colors to get new colors! My seven year old learned some new tips here! YAY!!!

Here is the front of the Studio 7 Canvas Paint Set.

The back of the canvas paint set has 3 paint brushes, 6 acrylic paints, and a paint pallete. I like how it was all neatly packaged together.

This wooden smile sign and foam brush looks like it would be the perfect art project for my 11 year old daughter!

These crayons and colored pencil are perfect for the coloring book that you'll see soon.

The colored pencil has a multi-colored lead.... so fuuun!!

This is the coloring book that has a spiral bound - this is great for little hands!

Some of the coloring pages included a Llamacorn - a cross between a llama and a unicorn. :)

This Create coloring page is cute and whimsical! Perfect for the older child to color.

The bookmarks will definitely be used in my house full of bookworms!

My 11-year old daughter and I spent some quality time together painting the canvases. We decided to do some abstract art using masking and washi tape.

We removed the tape right after were were done painting.

This was my finished product after removing the tape....

And this was my daughter's creation. I love how she added depth to her colors and some white accents!
