Artist, Künstler SEAK Claus Winkler: Malen bedeutet für mich den Ästhetiken, Bildwelten, & Dingen, Objekten, Items, Formen, Narrativen welche mich interessieren, Ich schön finde am nächsten, am intensivsten Verbunden zusein. Malen ist für mich skulpturales aus dem Bild rausholen. Ich kann beim malen parallel sinnvolles praktisches Wissen lernen, oder abtauchen in schöne/ interessante Fiktions Geschichten abtauchen. Eins werden mit der Hörbuch Geschichte, dem prozess des malens, & der Atmosphäre im Studio, oder wo Ich gerade sitze und male. Ich male um ein reichhaltiges Oeuvre & Bandbreite an Facetten von meiner Bildsprache, Formsprache, Ästhetik in die Welt zubringen, bevor Ich neue andere Malrichtungen, Malarten, auszuprobieren. Ich male Qualitativ gute Bilder weil Ich gern Bilder sehe welche mich begeistern. Und weil Ich nicht genug Kunst Hofstaat des Kaiser neue Kleider „ Experten „ / Kuratoren, Museumsausstellungen habe um mit schlechten Bildern und großen Galeristen/ Megadealern die Wertigkeit transportieren kann. Ich mag beim malen die unendlichen Möglichkeiten jeden Tag was neues, anderes auszuprobieren, & jedem Impuls folgen zu können. Als Kontrast zur Selbstdisziplin, zum Rationalen im Alltag, im realen Leben. Ich mag die Freiheit beim malen. Ich glaube das Ich male ist Verarbeitung von Erfahrungen mit meinen Mitmenschen. Meine Name suggeriert entweder Intimität mit Frauen, oder Lgbtq Aktivitäten. Meine Antwort der Entspannung, Verarbeitung von der attraktivierten Energie in meinem Umfeld findet mit dem Wort ‚ Malen ‚ statt. Ma (Mutter) Len ( Entspannen/ ) und gleichzeitig Virtue signaling Ma Von ‚ Mar ic on ( französisches Slang Diss Wort für lGbtq person) Len ( Entspannung). It was a great conversation with Mark and I am constantly surprised at despite talking about the mega projects of China and the lifting of 800 million people from poverty, better healthcare than the US, over 96% literacy, more infrastructure built than the worlds history, all in a matter of decades, from what was a destitute nation, that some people found it terrifying rather than extraordinary. The audience interaction was fascinating for what was sometimes a reductionist perception via good vs evil and Democracy vs Communism. That the fear of China is inured into the emotional mindset despite the facts of economic miracles and largest human projects in history. Multichannel light, synchronized video, sound installation, composition of stainless mirror steel sculptures ©Studio TWS ©Tim White-Sobieski | studio@white-sobieski.com Project includes composition of 12 mirror polished stainless steel sculptures with 12 matching vertically projected video compositions, full-color light-emitting diodes panels, and fiber-optics light installations, wall video projections, site-specific light installation, 12-channel sound installation. LED light controllers, electric circuit boards Behind the seeming complexity of the installation, there is a simple plot of a fairy tale about the Bird that cannot be contained in a cage; about the cage that lights up and awakes with the sounds of living nature; about misery and grandeur of one artist’s travel through life and light. Installation was originally conceived as another step in staging and production of the artists’ art film “Waiting for Godot”. The project is thematically linked to the previous film and light projects “Deconstructed Reality” “Vertigo” “Nebulas” and Visor’d. “Cold Forest” installation was further developed by inclusion of photo-video series presented in a panoramic composition of four sets of 20 prints each. The multimedia installation includes seven new stainless steel sculptures and objects and several video streams. In 1981 I found a strange fat saturated canvas. I painted the lady with the hat then. After 40 years I found in my home a forgotten unpainted cavas of the same strange quality. I must have divided the canvas in two parts in 1981. I could not resist to paint a version of 2021... I MUST SAY IT IS A STRANGE FEELING TO CONTINUE A THEME AFTER 40 YEARS.
