Right, brain is braining a bit so let's keep some momentum going - Artopian geography!
Kiln Creek is a river of molten glass that presumably flows from a volcano of some kind- the major settlement, also called Kiln Creek, is flanked on one side by the Clay Pits, and on the other by a desert (sand art pun goes here). The Clay Pits use the heat of the river and the kilns to fire the clay into terracotta for trade, with the firing methods being how Kiln Creek gets its business. They also offer much fancy glassware
The Cardboard Hills exist somewhere quite far from there, but I'm unsure of specifics. I'd imagine it's reasonably close to Artopia proper, and by extension the Shadelands, just because 1) the Kardbolds are a good introductory species for the travelling "region of the week" format, and 2) most of the Artopians are supplies that work well on paper, and cardboard is paper adjacent. So probably a paper kingdom first, with lots of origami structures, and then the Cardboard Hills.
Other than that, I like the idea of a watercolor themed set of islands, with the colours blending together around each other. The river of glass needs to end somewhere, but I'm not sure where, or even if there's a settlement at the end.

Depends. If he's angry there's probably fire involved, which bodes poorly. Otherwise it's likely fine, since he's not that physically strong and also I made him, so I can just scale him accordingly

Evidently the only way I can clean is “fetch quest” style.
I am terrible at cleaning my kitchen as The Task™️ but if I can set up a loop from TV Town to Artopia to Bakeland I can tidy up all three remarkably quickly with a boss fight in the fish pit arena.

Blanq would struggle with it for backstory reasons, before trying everything to game the system. Ultimately, he'd probably spend all his time trying to save everyone, and pull the lever at the last possible second
I haven't fleshed out any other Artopians enough for it (though Woolbur would disapprove of the use of a trolley) so... Glimmering Sun time!
Rhuk would be very against the whole notion, using his plant powers to try and redirect the trolley. If that doesn't work, he wouldn't pull the lever for Toa Code reasons
Nothal has no such limitations, and would probably pull the lever out of practicality. And then when people complained he'd point at the survivors and go "would you rather I did nothing?"
Reptak is the most likely to derail the trolley, I think, but she wouldn't pull the lever. In her mind, killing one guy who can't fight back isn't interesting enough to warrant pulling the lever. But that's Skakdi for you
And Tavram? Pre-big backstory events, he'd refuse for the same reason Rhuk does, and try to melt the train instead; post that event, he'd pull the lever because "I know how this ends" but he'd feel very bad about it
how would your OC respond to the trolley problem?

hey! this is chance & here’s week 6’s prompt. what are your protagonist’s bedrooms like? (or equivalent) messy? neat? carefully designed? or a collection of their favorite things? you can verbally describe or use photos, whatever you think is best.
Ooh, lots to unpack!
Blanq's room is very large, big four poster bed in the middle of one wall. I'd like to imagine most of it is black, and all angular- the chairs are angular, the tables are angular, the fireplace is angular. The door is in one corner, such that you're facing one of two big windows as you come in- floor to ceiling, and flanking the fireplace. The bed is on your left, and a tall cupboard or wardrobe next to it, and a rug on the floor. Most of the furniture is white, but the rug is red. And there's a little pointy plant on the mantle piece
The Artopians... Hmm. I haven't thought about their bedding arrangements in much depth at all to be honest. Mostly because I got stuck on names for so long.
I think the rooms are all together in Artopia, in one building. I'd like to think they're at the top of a flight of stairs, two rooms in the left and two on the right, so the rooms form a square with the stairs going out the bottom edge
Pepper absolutely has a sheet of paper she tucks herself under, clipping over the top neatly like a proper paper clip. Her room is very scrapbooky, lots of notes and things to remember, and photos- so many photos of fun days out and happy memories. And she can't bring herself to stick them down because moving them around is half the fun. I can imagine pink walls, but in a sort of peach way, and buried under paper and shelving
Arin doesn't put much in his room. There's mementos from his uncle Woolbur's many jobs, a selection of school reports, a half-filled out sudoku book... And a big pile of beanbags he likes to sleep in. Being largely spherical it doesn't bother him so much, and it reminds him of home, piled up with everyone in a big heap. However, I do think he hangs a lot of stuff from the ceiling, probably model planes
Hylie leans into a very... I'd almost call it academia look for her room. Big shelves, plush dark red walls, a wooden bed, the works. At least one of her shelves has a to-do list on it, which gets swapped regularly. She also strikes me as a "billion plushies" type gal, with a routine for each. Sometimes she brings them places and takes photos
Ezra... Green, an evergreen sort of green I think. Lots of half-finished craft projects, from costumes to schoolwork, and a toolbox (the old fashioned metal ones) full of art supplies. He is trying to make his own bed, but the mattress is too heavy and he's too stubborn to ask for help, so it's just a mattress and some cardboard tubes. There are also several boxes marked "secret" that contain gifts for his friends, that he hasn't finished yet

Week Two - Music
Inventory Research: Based on my feedback from last week, I decided to focus on the post it notes I got, focusing more on the idea of parasocial relationships, music as community and feeling understood. I didn't go too much into because I started to focus on my other topics more, but still collected some interesting stuff.
For parasocial relationships, I mentioned how certain artists, particularly in kpop, tend to feed into the idea of a "relationship" with the fans in order to appeal to them, and this can sometimes create those obsessive "fans"......
I do remember at some point there was this video of a woman named Tori Young who explained how she was engaged to Taehyung from BTS. Another similar case is that of Oli London, who became famous because of his plastic surgery intended to make him look like Jimin of BTS.
For music as a community, I watched the VMAS and when Chappell Roan won her award for Best New Artist, she made sure to dedicate her award to the midwestern queer kids, as she was in the same situation and wanted to make sure that they are seen. A few years ago, in 2017, Twenty One Pilots hosted in Ohio an art show called Artopia, which highlighted fan artists from around the world. It was a free event and they also offered a meet and greet.
Q&A: Last week I presented some questions and answers from this google form. I also collected a few more responses but they were similar in response to the others, so I won't bring them up here.
Observing in Action: Perhaps my own personal experience, I noticed looping a certain song during the entirety of my working time helped me stay focus and productive. I am not sure why? I wonder if it has to do with its 141 bpm. I did mention before how I don't really use slow music to wind down because it does not work for me. It reminded me of that time people would use mario kart music to do their work, maybe because it seems like it is rushing you due to its fast bpm?
Reflection: My overall reflection this topic of that music is truly something special to me. Even though I am not even sure I can consider myself much of a musician anymore, music is so important to me because I can use it in many aspects for my life and art. For example, the reason I am so drawn to KPOP is because of their concepts and storytelling that goes on with their artists, it makes the music more interesting and gives them a more visual aspect. Also because kpop is such a broad genre I feel like there’s something for everyone (pop, rap, indie, edm, rock, etc.). That’s why sometimes when my friends are curious I just ask them to give me an overall idea of what they already listen to and try to match it with certain kpop artists.
Music has also helped me connect back to my roots. Recently I've found myself listening to more latin music, specifically early latin pop/rock. And I reaaaaaally like it. Here are some of my favs:
Oye mi Amor
Devuelveme a mi Chica
Hola

@anulithots some of my favourite bits of Artopia came from your questions, and I feel like this style of question pretty much fits how we got there
The thing about fantasy worldbuilding is that verisimilitude and the rule of cool are not enemies. Someone who looks at a pod of flying whales and asks "what do they eat?" is not being a spoilsport – they're engaging with the premise. There are any number of much more serious objections to aerial megafauna than lack of any obvious role in a trophic web that could have been raised if they just wanted to shoot the idea down; a person who wants to know what the flying whales eat is all but explicitly yes-anding the idea. Sure, you might not have an answer at your fingertips, but acting like it's unimaginative for them to have asked is a really fucking weird way to react.
