I miss the weird and the unknown

My heart used to be full and swollen with love, happiness, gratitude, laughter, endless and infinite relationships. But then yet something always felt missing, a big piece of my teenage years. A piece of me somehow escaped and traveled through the ethernet cord and somehow found you.

I'll forever feel like my heart is an open wound no matter how loved I am, no matter how many partners I have, no matter what people tell me. I'll always feel bitterness in the end, after everyone is asleep I'll remain sitting here contemplating my decisions and why I didn't choose the person I loved the most, or the people that held my heart and creative soul and guided me to self discovery.

Before, I had a saying, "I don't have any regrets because all my decisions brought me to where I am today, they brought me my son, they brought me to understanding the world in a different way than before, and for that I'm grateful". But now? I'm bitter, I'm regretting, I'm replaying all the moments in my head and wondering what happened to that gratitude, that happiness, that feeling of contentment with myself and my life.

Don't get me wrong, I love my children and would do ANYTHING for them but when I look on the mirror, all I see is sadness. I'm drained, I'm sagging, I'm riddled with tears and pimples as my child sucks the life out of me. He deserves the world but what be got was a confused, tired, and pathetic woman. I fought these feelings and thoughts every. Single. Fucking. Day.

One day it'll be easier, one day after all the mantras, meditation, dedication, will power, and life decisions I'll be able to have an abundance of contentment and only a sliver of sorrow.

Sorrow is the root of my passion, the reason for existence, out of the crying willow I emerged. Bright eyed and ready to change the world, even if my impact is small, it'll spread like a infectious diseases but I'm more like a cure. While I suffer in silence you reap the benefits of my healing aura. I soak up the tears and negativity and recycle the energy into positivity and joy.
