EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS

My dog has been rushed to the emergency vet and is struggling. So far he’s been on a ventilator and now they’re trying to go for an MRI and I’m trying to make up the money for the vet bills so we can give him a fighting chance since he hasn’t even turned a year old yet.

However, I’m on the verge of moving out for my first year of college in a month since i just graduated hs, and I don’t have money to offer, so I’m going to try commissions. Advice or help would be greatly appreciated, but I won’t say more so I don’t make this an even longer post than it will be.

ART I CAN DO: Digital, Animation, Traditional, Sculptural (I am still learning digital sculpting so I don’t think I can do model commissions)

I draw characters the most, and love making bases for people to color as well. I’m not the greatest at backgrounds but I can do them. I also do art of people pets.

New Years Message from Yours Truly~

Wow...to think that 2024 would slip away so fast....I really wasn't expecting to have had such a tough journey that is yet to be over.

There were a lot of ups and downs in my life, but I would have never pushed through it all without you guys!

I wanna take the time to thank you all for not only the warm welcomes when I first came to Tumblr into the KND community, but for making such awesome memories so far and the stuff we have created together with our kiddos and all!

Every art piece I would see or receive from you guys makes me feel very very happy and appreciated. It definitely made me feel very good and motivated in myself to continue giving you all my art content in general.

If I were to have a New Years Resolution that I am able to achieve; It would be to continue making memories and interacting with you guys some more, slowly but surely~ <3

It's just...so unbelievable to how many new friends I've made so far and have already felt close to....

Back in February of this year, I wanted to try and create a small KND group on Instagram to try and interact with the ones I've met already in the KND fandom. From this small group...to now moving to Tumblr and seeing you all here, being a wonderful group of folks who enjoy something alike!

I will admit, I was nervous at first to interact....but now, I think it's safe to say that perhaps in 2025, we will definitely have some more fun together and create such awesome stuff!

Thought I'd show you guys what I have done so far of the next comic, not sure when I will finish it, as I am working through both the mental blocks and have no motivation.

The two might end up having a discussion about "opening up" and I think both Past and Future need that.

Honestly, I'm glad to be getting back into these comics, I've been doing them for about two years now, so, I'm not dropping them any time soon

I just hope the MASSIVE gap between this and the last comic wasn't too much of a disappointment.

So I dunno if literally anyone is still here, I don’t blame you if you’re not though.

But I wanted to say that I’m moving this to a different blog. So it can be a side blog to my main email address and I can update stuff without having to log on and off through different emails constantly.

I feel bad for leaving these guys here, and I’ve been working on changing and retooling, and also I got a better artstyle

It’s amazing the kinda difference 8 years can make huh XD

Announcement

So i have been posting daily comics to this au for a while now, and dont get me wrong, I LOVE making these updates

But it has been cutting into time when i should be doing productive stuff, like my AP biology test that’s coming up real soon!!!!!! (oh god)

So i’m going to be pushing back these updates to about every other day, which i think is reasonable.

Thank u for understanding, i dont want to get burnt out too quickly, and this can allow me to have more time to create longer comics!

It made me curious, how do you guys price Animated commissions?

I’d like to make a new pages for commission ads and i though I might at animated comms to it since i’ve done a few gif animations already, but I don’t really know how to fairly price them since they are technically just a bunch of drawings in one thing.

Update on Life

CW: Slight Vent?

All right guys, I have some good and bad;

Good news is that even if the goal wasn't met for my insurance, my parents were able to help me pay for it this time!

Since unfortunately, the stupid company failed to help me understand why my insurance increased greatly and I had the option to pay it out monthly rather than fully...

Though I'll need to try and push for either more hours at work, or find either a second part time or whole new job that will give me proper hours...

Bad news is that hours have yet again been severely cut for two reasons; High labor and too quiet for business. They've been cut to one day a week for like 5 hours, and the rest of the days, I would be lucky to some how get called in to work.

I've tried telling my manager to give me more hours, but unfortunately was rejected due to the reasons above.... Atp a lot of employees at my work have been pushing to try and get more hours even if it's quiet.

So for the meantime, I'm in the looks for a new job.

In regards to the car insurance, I would now have to pay like 200 something a month

I have never felt so stressed out in my life and god... It's driving me crazy, trying to remain calm so I don't trigger my H.P (Heart Palpitations)

(Context: I had to rush to an Urgent Care awhile back and was diagnosed with the condition.. Don't worry though! I am ok!)

Like honestly... I'm done... I wanna try and draw something but even if I did, I wouldn't like it... In other words, lack of motivation following by art block or more so... Burnout. It genuinely sucks and I really want to draw... The least I'll probably do for the time being is complete that one ask I got in my inbox for the Blue Moon AU and afterwards, maybe open my inbox for Gianna again to try and have some sort of production.

I'll have another post saying when it's open and some mini rules to ask her questions, stay tuned.

A Big Changes to this Blog that was Long Overdue...

Hello Everyone…

It's been quite a while since I last posted anything on this blog, well beside repeats of Desolate Paradise content.

You see, a lot of stuff has changed over the years since I first started this blog in 2016 to now 2024, man a long time huh? Anyway, I never expected the good, the bad, and the ugly things and how it would affect my life. I won't get into the details, but basically I'm just like anyone else in the world that deals with hardships and loss. I found it hard to stay passionate and creative with my art and my mindset, that it got to a point where I had enough…

I stopped doing everything that I loved the most and took a huge break from it.

While I was stewing, reflecting, and just recharging my batteries, I was doing other hobbies during this time that I enjoyed. I was writing for a while through the many fandom Au's I've created and I slowly started getting my spark back and my creative juices flowing again.

I started doodling, sketching and doing art again, even though they may not be the best of what I've done before. I'm still happy with them and it's getting me back to what I love doing most.

I then reached a decision on what I want to do with this blog to not only solve the inactivity but also better myself in the process.

The Big Changes to this Blog

These are the "Big Changes" that will be happening to the The Lone Wolf Artist Blog…

As I mentioned before I do have other hobbies that I have developed over the years that I love doing behind the scenes, such as:

Writing

Animating

Sewing

Beading jewelry

Resin Art

Diamond Art

These are the few prime examples of things I like doing that has expanded my creative space and mindset besides drawing all the time. The reason I haven't posted these types of content was because I was too focused on making masterpieces and trying to keep up with drawing inactivity on this blog.

I started to learn that it was making me unhappy and too stressed out, but that's all about to change for this blog with these hobbies and the other fandom's I'm interested in too! You see the The Lone Wolf Artist Blog is gonna be my personal space for my other hobbies and the other fandom's that I enjoy beside Motorcity, like:

One Piece

Red Dead Series

Studio Ghibi Content

Monster Hunter Series

Evil West

Okami

And Many More Fandom Content I enjoy!

These are the few examples of the other kinds of fandom that I enjoy and love. My interest goes beyond just Motorcity. I have written many fandom Au's stories during my huge break and I'm dying to bring them to life!

Basically this blog is gonna be a place where I get to do what I want to do and you guys get to see the kinda stuff I created through my written fandom Au's stories instead of focusing on one fandom!

Now the Future Changes of this Blog

Now with these big changes happening with this new direction to the Lone Wolf Blog, it doesn't stop there.

You see I do have other changes that will be coming in the future too! Such as:

1: Question Box Opening [Reason for the Idea: It is where you guy's can ask me questions. (FYI: Their will be Rules to prevent Chaos.)]

2: Request Box Opening [Reason for the Idea: Where you can request drawing ideas for me to draw with rules too. (FYI: I'm a bit undecided about the idea right now. If this idea becomes official, it will be a Limited Box Opening of how many I would take; basically an on and off box.)]

3: Previews of W.I.P.S. Artwork's [Reason for the Idea: I know my art takes a lot of time and patience that causes these long pauses in my blog activity, so maybe I'll post some W.I.P'S of my art content process time to keep up the activity.]

4: Previews of W.I.P.S. Animation's [Reason for the Idea: I sometimes dapple in animation every now and then, maybe I'll post some rough animations that I'm really proud of through my simple animation journey.]

5: Short AU Stories [Reason for the Idea: When I'm not drawing or my hand is slightly sore, I like writing small stories in between from my AU's, maybe I'll post these little stories, but no promises I'm not the best writer but not awful.]

6: Small Comic AU's & Scene's [Reason for the Idea: I write a lot and sometimes I like to take the time to bring these scene's to life.]

7: Gaming Clips [Reason for the Idea: Sometimes during the weekend breaks, I play games to give my creative brain a break. Every now and then I capture awesome, funny and goofy moments during my playthrough's that I'm wiling to share.]

These are a few of my suggestions… I will makes post's when I make the final decisions.

Now The Desolate Paradise Blog Issue

The Desolate Paradise Blog (AKA: Motorcity X Wolf Rain's AU Crossover Story) is going be on hiatus in indefinitely…

I made this decision because I want to focus on my other fandom AU's without focusing on this one all the time and causing me to be stressed out and trying to force myself to keep working on it. It wasn't fun anymore and that's not what I wanted for this AU…

So I'm going to put it on hiatus effective immediately, will it return?…

I don't know right now. For now its on pause and needs to stay like that, until I'm ready to come back to it or.. maybe give up on it entirely…only time will tell.
