I’ve been terrified to draw the drawing on the right every year since 2017. But after 8 years I finally did it.

Because I loved how the drawing in 2017 had come out so much that I always figured I would be disappointed with my growth as an artist if I tried to redraw it and I wouldn’t see any improvement.

But I grinded, and I drew and drew over the years and I finally got this drawing out and I’m very proud of myself for that. ❤️

I made that original drawing four days after that episode first aired. Attack on Titan has come and gone since then, but that episode is still one of my favorites. Where Sasha just says “Screw it!” and goes for it. Been trying to keep up that energy ever since.

Here’s to the next 8 years and more art to come. 🏹🥔✨

Fashionably late but I did it! It's the seventh time I've drawn this lynx. This year's piece is very different from the previous ones but I think that is good. New directions are also important to explore.
