Kudos to the writing team for simplifying the sequence of events and staying true to the subject material… Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale deserves brownie points for executing the material with expertise.

Article 370 has several interesting characters that sparkle in their respective parts: Arun Govil [as Prime Minister], Kiran Karmarkar [as Home Minister], Divya Seth, Raj Zutshi and Vaibhav Tatwawadi.

Day 21/100 days of Productivity

Academia

I studied human geography for half an hour. Got an introduction of Human Race. I studied from Majid Hussain and a booklet for exam prep from my university. (Fun fact: Race word is considered to be originated in 16th century England.)

I am continuing reading Babel by R. F. Kuang. I had read 107 pages before. Today I read 21 more pages. (This really isn't a part of my course but I still am adding it to academia.) I listened to this while reading the book and I'm totally utterly in love with the vibe it created along with the book.

Non Academia

I watched 2 movies- The Kerala Story and Article 370 and 3 episodes of Heeramandi. The movies were an experience and I was spooked, especially after Kerala Story. They weren't my style, I prefer movies which make me feel good rather. I decided to watch Mrs. Undercover but that too had a man murdering a girl he was on a date with in the first 5 minutes of the movie. I mean, I'm definitely not meeting any man at all, doesn't matter who they are, where they come from after all this experience. And Heeramandi is very beautiful. It's exactly what you'd expect from Desi Dark Academia. I love Sonakshi Sinha's acting. She's phenomenal. Puts a soul into the character.

I just started acting ice cream and it was my favorite flavor but man, I can't finish it in a day, i just can't. I'd have to find someone to share the ice-cream with tomorrow.

Just saw the kashmir files letterboxd and amidst all the reviews calling it propaganda there was a very nice girl talking about how its 'so privileged' to call it overly gory while sitting in a theatre with air conditioning when it was a mass Hindu exodus. Thank you anupam kher and whatever agnihotri for rotting the minds of my generation with your nonsense, purposefully targetted propaganda movies where Muslims are always the villains and the good Hindus are always running away from them in fear while other good Hindus banish said invaders and we leave the theatre chanting about a glorious Hindu Rashtra🫡🫡🫡

Also thank you Yami Gautam for starring in movies like Article 370 which is going to be another beautiful propaganda movie which glorifies violence towards Muslims and validates it. And also for always supporting her husband in his endeavors to make such movies hence fulfilling her pativrata dharma

This is one of the great movies from Bollywood in recent times & one of the great political dramas too. For me, the depth in explaining everything about Article 370 & Yami Gautam's performance would be its main highlights.

All the actors have also portrayed their role well. Although the story gets predictable at many moments but they have done well in going to depths about how the whole process happened.

Also the music at some scenes were also really good. And another good thing is that it does not force any patriotism but delivers a good, intense & serious storyline.

Yami is literally so underrated, but she literally deserves the limelight. I mean, I don't really think someone could've done this role better than her (maybe Rani Mukherjee can), and Arun Govil, sir, as prime minister was seriously the role we all needed! As a proud Indian, I got tears in my eyes after watching this movie, and all the scenes in this movie gave me f-king goosebumps. I mean, this is a must-watch. Every Indian (no matter the caste, the religion, the post they are on, or the representative they vote for) should watch this movie if they want to know everything about Article 370. (And we all should know about Article 370 and all its clauses and subclauses and all the circumstances there were because of that.) At the end, this movie is the truth!
