Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.

Randomly thinking about a time way back when I worked in retail where, after a stressful rush, my boss took me to his office to yell at me for being slow ringing people up and threatened to fire me and then just sent me back to work for the last 30 minutes of my shift. And I have always been someone who is sensitive and cries easy so I'm behind the counter sorting hangers just fighting for my life trying to Not Cry until I was no longer at work

And this old man walks up to me and goes "What sits at the bottom of the ocean and shivers?"

And I'm like "What?"

And he repeats "What sits at the bottom of the ocean and shivers?"

So I go "I don't know, what?"

He says "A nervous wreck!" And I laugh a little and he immediately leaves the store

And I don't know if he was just an old guy who wanted to tell jokes (because that's always a common occurrence for me in customer service) or if he could see I was upset and was trying to cheer me up in some way. But in any event it did work because I was so bewildered I wasn't dwelling on being yelled at by my boss anymore so I didn't cry, I was just wondering what that old man's story was

That's so frustrating. And it seems like something that is so easy to prevent in the first place but the services just don't want to. That and the hideously lazy 'speaks foreign language' thing as if we don't deserve to know what is being said in another language lol

The female worgen models were always such a huge disappointment. You get these rad hulking werewolf dudes and then, like, scrawny dog ladies. Boo. The newer models are a bit better than the original, less scrawny and have much more wolf-like faces but tbh it's hard to not improve on what they looked like before so that's a very low bar

The new models are definitely better, but still extremely lacking :/

The males and females are hardly even the same werewolf species!! Make them look the same god dammit

Try making a separate account that only follows light content: aesthetics, fanart-only, animal pics, meme/joke-centric blogs. Then when you need to decompress, swap to this low-stress account for browsing

The sad thing is, all my social media accounts are already like this. Politics and horrible news manage to find me anyways

Yes and also it’s a tv show and not letting Connie do anything because she’s a human child (like the core demographic) is superboring

A little while ago I read a quote from Neil Gaiman about his story Coraline; how when adults read it they’re reading a horror story about a child being put in danger, and when little girls read it they’re reading a story about someone like themselves becoming triumphant over danger. I can’t help but think about that whenever people complain about kids getting to do things in children’s stories
