Sooooo, any other fgo players and classic mythology fans like to headcanon Artemis as actually being Eos?
Like, her sister Selene is always conflated with Artemis anyway and with how Fate works you could probably say something like all three exist as one but are separate beings or something.
Like, since the Greek gods are robots, you could say Eos and Selene were damaged in the titanomachy fighting against the Titans and Artemis saved them from dying by fusing her own nano machines into their bodies.
So now all three are basically Artemis but still their own unique character with Eos being the Artemis we summon.

Patroclus should be summonable in Chaldea and become besties with Artemis:
Patroclus: *talking about his exploits in the Troyan War*
Artemis: NO WAY, You killed Bellerophon's grandchild? I killed his daughter!
Patroclus: YOOOOOOO *gives her a sick high five*
***
*both wearing gucci sunglasses and drinking bobba*
Artemis: Being a top is EXHAUSTING.
Patroclus: Preach it to the choir sister, preach it to the choir!
***
Guda: Oh look, Artemis and Patroclus are playing volley!
Mash: ...master, that's not a ball, that's Apollo!
Patroclus: *who's bf was killed because of Apollo's intervention* hahahahaha!
Artemis: *who's bf was also killed because of Apollo's intervention* AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
***
Atalanta: *enters the room*
Patroclus: WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?
Artemis: WOOO WOOH WOOH OOOH~!
Atalanta: *leaves the room*

My headcanon (cope) for Artemis is that she admires Orion's prowess as a hunter but can't abide by his womanizing (she's a protector of virgins who, at one point, literally hunted a man for sport for peeping on her while bathing, to name one example). Turning him into a teddy bear and latching onto his Spirit Origin is the *merciful* alternative to killing him. My other headcanon is that she's not a bimbo and has other personality traits. My third cope is that she's shredded with a six pack (she's a HUNTER and an ARCHER, dammit! She RAISED Atalante and Chiron!)
LMAO YEAH.
I personally think that this is just an aspect of Artemis.
A number of gods use vessels in order to materialize as Servants, I've noticed. Eresh and Ishtar use Rin, Quetz has an unnamed vessel, Parvati uses Sakura, Sutur technically uses Sigurd (or something, ngl I've forgotten a lot of LB2), and I'm actively not thinking about the Alt Egos because that's ANOTHER mess, but all in all, we see evidence of gods using vessels/pseudo servants to materialize instead of doing so themselves.
So what does that mean for Artemis?
While we do see divine beings and gods just show up as themselves, I don't think that this is exactly the case for Arte. I think like the others, to be summoned as a Servant, Arte cannot appear as she is as a goddess. She could be like Ishtar or Quetzalcoatl and choose a suitable vessel to dwell within, or she could sever a part of herself and turn that into "Artemis", but even then, it wasn't a guarantee. So what did she do?
She did exactly that, she took her own legend, took the myths and beliefs and what was written and known about her, and cut off part of herself that could be attached to another. There are tellings of Artemis' story that state that she and Orion were madly in love with one another and she killed him because Apollo tricked her— the typical retelling of their story— and so when Artemis cut away the part of herself that could be used for a Heroic spirit, that love and connection created Artemis-Orion.
The Artemis we see under the Archer Class as Orion is only an aspect of the true goddess. And it's only under this ditzy, bimbo-esque version of Artemis that is so attached to Orion that can she materialize as a Servant.
She does definitely have a six-pack though, that's for sure.
#idk if this makes any sense but#this was much longer than i expected it to be#whether or not you belive in arte and orion's love being true or not is up to you to decide but I think that the dizy bimbo thing is just a#*an#aspect or an act to get people to let their guards down#they did have a good friendship that was for sure— so much so that apollo was jealous (lmao siscon much? anyways /j) and had Arte kill him#fate#fgo artemis#bitterrosebrokenspear tag#kiwikipedia answers

Tfw you want complicated protagonist Kriemhild.
And Lasengle keeps giving you rom-com 'Hild. And they're so lazy about it they can't even use CEs.
*head in hands as this song plays*
For once, I'll let "Rom-Com" Kriem off the hook this time, as Valentine's are usually pretty silly, and the premise for this one is also rather wacky.
But I do wish that we had more "Serious" Kriem, or "Taking Something Usually Mundane As Serious Business" Kriem (a la Jason's Interlude). The most we've had - outside of Traum - is again Jason's Interlude and the Wandjina event. I feel "Rom-Com" is a detriment 💀 (probably controversial to say that, but I'm probably already controversial for not really liking how the relationship is handled in general, lol).
And I am still a little hung up on the CEs. The amount of LAZINESS to not use them as flags, smh.
#ask#I live Higashide's writing I truly do#but when he tries to do romance it's not that good 😓#like. excluding these two the only other couple I've seen people actually like is Amakusa and Semi#the rest are various levels of ''eh'' or ''wtf were you thinking''#and the two FGO original couple that Higeshide has done are ''diet'' versions of more popular fictional couples#Artemis and Orion are literally Lum and Ataru from Urusei Yatsura#that dynamic works in Orion's case but *horribly* for Artemis#and Higashide using Kriem's VA as a basis for how her end of her relationship with Sieg is similarly detrimental#bc Sieg has been around *before* Love is War was a thing#so that dynamic that happens in Love is War (both sides try to make the other confess their love) is already a bad idea#to try and apply for Sieg and Kriem#bc we already know Sieg will gladly say that he loves Kriem without being forced to#meanwhile with Kriem it strips her of any originality and dumbs her down to ''Sieg's Tsundere Goth Wife''#and I've already expressed just how much I hate that
