'Airship Orchestra'
vimeo
Instalação interativa de arte pública
Washington DC, Xangai, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Shenzhen, Wagga Wagga, Bournemouth, Milão

No puedo distinguirlo.

The Nimona art book just dropped and it´s online and it´s an incredible concept because you read it alongside the OST, and also some pages contain gifs, so you see the concept and the model in motion and stuff like that and it´s inmersive and it´s soooo fun.

Just backing up the other anon
I really like the way you draw characters(highly descriptive i know).
It might just be my ultra sappy core but the way they seem to hold genuine love or compassion or hope. Even on ships that I don't main as far as I can think every single one has made me go yes that one/ those two, they deserve joy and happiness and love. Let that be around the corner for them.
The zutara hand scar art made me realize that especially. If there's fanfiction I'll get to it at some point my reading list is absurdly long. But the feeling of they will know and understand something about one another I feel was baked into to that and that oncoming understanding was amazing to feel just from looking at a picture.
Tl;Dr: Some random anon likes your work and the emotions they feel they invoke.
The way you just made me cry, Anon.
Sharing emotions is all art is about. To dwelve deep into the human heart, to inmerse yourself in the characters and their struggles, their connections to one another—that's what we're all here for, isn't it? And it makes me feel both overwhelmed and lighthearted to hear someone tell me: "you can do this, you can make something as plain as a drawing feel genuine".
That's incredible, Anon.
And don't worry about being descriptive—I know what you mean to say. The characters are, I feel, the most powerful thing in fiction. To get them right (physically and emotionally) is really important, and really difficult sometimes.
All in all, thank you ♥️

Miles Morales headcanons
- He actually studies a lot whenever he has the time. He especially likes to go to the library or to a coffee shop and study for hours.
- Miles loves to explore the city, let it be by swinging or walking. He likes to discover new places and try different things.
- Sometimes, when he's not feeling tired or doesn't have a very hard day ahead, he tends to wake up early just to see the sunrise.
- He has a talent for both art and physics, so he usually mixes both in order to catch the concepts faster. He draws little doodles and schemes in every notebook and adds sketches to his notes.
- That man is LOYAL. Miles is the kind of guy that will help you to cover up a murder. He sticks with his friends until the end of the line.
- He likes to use art as free therapy. Let it be writing, singing and especially drawing, Miles uses art to deal with his feelings and calm down. He especially likes to spend hours inmersed in his graffities, going from place to the other focused on the shades and lines, choosing the best color or fixing the right pattern.
- He's a HUGE fan of Metro Boomin and in this essay I will-
I'll probably do a Pt.2 or Gwen's headcanons, so let me know your thoughts on this. Also, what a GREAT FUCKING MOVIE. I'm not the same person I was 2h and 16 minutes before.

Book recommendation tag game
Rules: recommend as many books as you like. please include genre and some basic information on it (either your words or a copy+paste synopsis). feel free to include cover art, a personal review, trigger warnings, and anything else! just don’t spoil the book!
Thank you for the tag, @dekarios 💕
Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, by Satoshi Yagisawa
Genre: Contemporary fiction
Takako has never liked reading. That's why, after a romantic let-down, she isn't too thrilled about moving into the family's bookshop with her excentric uncle. In Jimbocho, a bookworm's dream, she hopes to mend her broken heart in peace, and, maybe, start anew.
A cosy story about connecting with people you kow and people you don't. There is a sequel, but I did enjoy this book more as a stand-alone.
The adventures of Amina al-Sirafi, by Shannon Chakraborty
Genre: Fantasy, historical fiction
Amina al-Sirafi repeats time and time again how she doesn't miss her old life. After all, she says, she's too old to cross the Indian Ocean as she used to, and she made too many enemies along the way as one of the most notorious pirates of her time. But when she's presented with an offer regarding her old crewmate, how could she say no?
This book reminded me of the stories I used to read when I was little, and even though I'm not too familiar with the tradition that inspired it, I never felt lost while reading.
TW: Death, general bigotry, violence
The Blackwater saga, by Michael McDowell
Genre: Horror, southern gothic, hostorical fiction (ish)
A novel in six installments that follows the lives of the Caskeys for 50 years, with a supernatural twist. It all starts when a flood devastates the small town of Perdido, in Alabama. As Oscar and Bray try to find someone in the ruins of their hometown, they come across Ellinor, a young woman who has been trapped for several days in one of the rooms of the hotel. Or so she says.
I'm using the spanish covers because they are too beautiful not too. It had been a while since I've been so inmersed in a series like this. I don't even know what can I say that won't spoil anything.
TW: Death, rape, body horror
She who became the sun, by Shelley Parker-Chan
Genre: Fantasy, historical fiction
With the birth of their son Chongba, the Zhu family is promised a brilliant life for him. They are mystified by his fate, the likes of which they only heard in legends. They aren't surprised, though, when they are told that their daughter is as unremarkable as any other girl. Which they ignore is her strong will and her desire to survive anything in her path, including taking a fake identity to make her own fate.
A dark and brutal story about desperate people doing everything in their power to see the next day. This was sold to me as a YA cute empowerment book; it is not. It's a war story about complicated and complex people.
TW: Death, violence, sexual content, dysphoria.
The great swindle, by Pierre Lemaitre
Genre: Historical fiction
It's only a few days until the World Word I comes to an end, both side know it. That's why the attack planned by the lieutenant Pradelle is so surprising. Luckily for Albert Maillard, another man saves his life during the offensive, but the awful consequences of it will make him feel in debt with him forever. After his stay in the hospital, Édouard is left so desfigured that he refuses to meet his family again, but convinces Albert to help him to get his revenge against the french government.
A heist book set in the 1920s, basically. And the film adaptation was incredible too. Again, pretend like there is no sequel to it.
TW: Disfigurement, ableism
No pressure tags: @veeples @lookingforsomethingcuzimbored @wayhavenots
#there are so many books i would love to recommend but idk how common translations might be#i read more spanish books than i expected oops#btw if anyone wants to be tagged in things like this let me know#tagged#saras library

You know earlier I said I wasn't gonna be a sap in the author's note bc why would I do that right lol imagine being vulnerable!! But I'm feeling down tonight (unrelated) and I have so many thoughts about it.
Like I've mentioned, it had been years since I was fully inmersed in writing (mind you this isn't even my first language) and I thought it would be fun to pick it up again, so I had a bunch of stuff sitting in my drafts that were for me only, random bits and wips.
But this year I decided to have the courage to actually share it with an audience, and to this day hitting the post button still terrifies me lmao, and in all honesty? I never imagined or intended to get what I have now.
Technically this all started with that eah thingy I made with a mutual in mind (best rapple shipper here) and since then I went back into tessjoel bc I'm nothing but predictable 🙏🏼 and sometimes this is still an internal battle with me, because my writing will always be personal and it will be painful, but I don't want to stop sharing my art even though I'm left vulnerable and there for anyone to pick me apart 🧍🏽♀️
This year has given me a safe space to explore and expand myself as a writer and for that I'm grateful, I don't think anyone can imagine how it makes me feel knowing someone could even care about it haha but you all have a special place in my heart and I cherish you, and if we part ways that will stay with me!!!
Almost 200K words posted and this all started (officially to me) in my birthday, as I was sick and sad, when I wrote something silly, self-indulgent and with the idea that no one would even notice it. I was wrong, so totally wrong. Now it's my most well received fic, and it almost wasn't posted.
Life is weird and in another reality this never happened but it did and it brought me so many amazing people in my life!!! And the great comments only made me want to keep improving day by day. Hopefully I can create even more in 2024.
#sorry I'm so emotional today#it's the December air#idk like do you understand how much this all means to someone who's always unwanted#that something I do can move someone emotionally#phew#gecko rants#mine

alright. so. as you may or may not have figured out I’m basically like you are with BTS but with 5sos. I could go on and on about how much I relate to everything they do and how seen I felt and also how much more equipped I am to take care of myself when I can see myself mirrored in people and art. as always trying to get into more music and so. I want to know what BTS songs you’d recommend for me specifically knowing I listen to 5sos!! I don’t speak anything other than English unfortunately and understanding some of the lyrics is important to me but I’m open minded! I wanna see what you think I’d like!
i'm glad you have something special like that too! i'm not familiar with 5sos, i just know a couple songs and they're kinda old, so i don't really know what they sound like. however, i'm always in for recommending some bts songs!! (let me know if you want a playlist, i love making them hehe)
oh, and before i start i'll link a great blog for their lyrics. it has the translations and it explains the wordplay, art references (even to books, some of their other songs, etc)... since you said lyrics are important to you i highly recommend checking it out. bts lyrics are one of their big strengths!! it's personally one of my favorite things about them. they're totally inmersed in the creative process, which i admire and take into consideration a lot because i believe it matters to an artist
https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/
now, for the recommendations:
tomorrow
run bts
paradise
spring day
i'm fine
danger
outro: tear
house of cards
134340
dis-ease
i hope you like them and if you want more i'm here hehe. they cover a lot of genres so you may be surprised :))
