oh boy rachel's telling on herself a little-

so we noticed that her Twitter name recently changed again, now featuring her bluesky social in her username to obviously advertise to people that she has a Blue Sky.

She's had BlueSky for a while, but it obviously doesn't have as massive of a following because 1.) Blue Sky is still a much smaller platform than Twitter (undoubtedly because it still requires invite codes to join), and 2.) it's really, REALLY hard to move the entirety of your fanbase from one platform to another as many followers are bound to be "dead" (i.e. not active on the platform anymore) and others will naturally fall off because they may have followed ages ago but never bothered to keep up or unfollow from a page that was just on their backburner.

But interestingly enough, this change is very recent and when you check her BlueSky, which she would only post to every once in a while, it's now seeming to be a lot more active with multiple posts over the past couple days. So I think it's very clear at this point that she's trying to actively commit to the migration from Twitter to BlueSky.

No hate to the person who posted this, I'm sure they're chill and cool, I just think the fact that Rachel of all people reposted this to her BlueSky which she's trying to replace her Twitter with is very telling. We all know this isn't just Rachel sharing something funny for the gag, we know exactly what Rachel likes and portrays in her work that she could see herself in through this post.

And what's even more telling (and hilarious) is that this may as well have been her running away to BlueSky after the "Never apologize for being Sicilian" tweet became the top result when you search "Lore Olympus" on Twitter LMAOOO

Let's start with the one obviously made to garner the bigger reaction

Like, the joke is pretty obvious, right? Everyone wants to either sex the rabbit or have someone else sex the rabbit, so since it's physically impossible for them to actually do it I wanted to make a joke about that.

Meanwhile, people on Instagram are treating this like it's straight up-porn.

Are you kidding me? If I actually drew straight-up porn of them, I could at least get the "fandom sucks" comments but mentally ill?

A YEAR? A fucking YEAR? Are these two people like eons old and only see a year as a tiny blip of time in their lives? Do they have any idea how long a year is? I could get it if they meant like a week or maybe even a month, but a year is actually just absurd. Do they really think it normally takes anything close to that long for people to realize they're attracted to a character, and make art of it? Most people can produce a piece of art in a few hours, maybe a day if they really put the effort into it.

Anyway here's a perfectly normal reply to the post. I want to believe this person made this photoshop specifically just to reply to my post, because I would love that even more.

The first TADC art I wanted to make, mostly because I had a really cool idea of putting Pomni in a 3D background, and later thought to actually animate it and make it spin. Obviously I wanted to stylize her a bit differently than in the official animation because I'm basically a sucker for poofy pants/sleeves/shoulderpads whatever, so I just made them bigger, as well as her jester hat cuz obviously.

And to be fair, many more people are normal about this one, but still:

Do they think they're just like, funny or something? While some people nowadays are like "all horny thoughts of fictional characters are sin" others are like "haha sexo funni" and I guess make that their personality. It's just as dumb and annoying. If you want to fuck a character, just fucking admit it. You look even stupider if you're like "haha I wanna fuck her but I don't want people to think I'm actually serious"

This kind of thing happened with a comment on Newgrounds of a sketch of NiGHTS I did a while back. What do they think she looks like under there? It sounds like they think I gave her stick legs but also the fattest ass on the planet, like she was some candied apple on a stick or something. Personally if it were even possible to remove her clothes, my headcanon would basically be that her body looks like Finn from Adventure Time

But yeah there are more passively dumb ones but these comments are specific enough to form thoughts out of. Obviously can't keep this up but hey, just let me dish out my feelings for my first bombardment of attention on the internet lol

so like. in the canon timeline of Blurred Lenses, my self-insert does not exist; my self-insert exists in an alternate timeline where i can smooch my fictional man (Henry) and put my sona through Shipping For Psychological Horror Reasons (aka trying to explore what xeir hypothetical relationship to William would be like. it ain't great and William makes them worse.)

so...a summary of This Guy:

her full name is Dani "Dandy" Penny Rainer. as she words it, "What 'Dani' is short for is for me to know and for you to never find out."

(Dani isn't short for anything, it's just a running joke he has)

pretty much the third business partner. Henry does robotics, William does business, and Dandy does art/was their earliest form of a "PR manager" (using the term VERY loosely).

Dandy wanted to have a bunny suit, but Henry was like "well...we kinda already HAVE one, technically" and Dandy just responded "Henry, Will's thing's a fucking hare, it shouldn't count 😒" and Henry just goes "W. Would a Dog be okay? because i don't think the people of Hurricane are gonna particularly care about the differences between Hares and Rabbits" so that's how Dandy got Sparky. and not the lil candy clown bunny she wanted. rip

so...Dandy wants to be a parent, right? problem with that: in the eyes of half the town (and the law) he's. a woman. (gender wise, he's like. bigender with some bunny, clown, candy, and weirdcore xenogenders in there). at around the time, a woman deciding to settle down and have kids meant that any attempt at a career was effectively nonexistent. (this would've happened in like. the early to mid-70s, so y'know...less of a problem, but it was still in a smallish rural town...so i don't think he would've wanted to risk it). Dandy sort of views the fact that both William and Henry have families of their own with envy.

due to this, xe tries to become a sort of "Wine Aunt/Uncle" to the Afton and Emily kids. being a part of their lives. 'if i can't have my own children i'll help raise these children like they're my own,' you get the idea.

so like...you know how, between the two original business partners, Henry was the only one who was, y'know, Doing Alright? that still carries over to Dandy joining them. William's one major inconvenience away from Committing A Crime (< foreshadowing his divorce and Charlie) and Dandy's just kinda...sad and pathetic. like, depressed but trying to hide it and substance abuse levels of Not Doing Too Hot. among other unhealthy coping strategies (such as trying to sleep with both of its business partners, but. we're not getting too deep into that)

they've got this weird polycule type of thing going on. Henry's with both of them, but Dandy and William are a more Friends(???????) With Benefits type of deal (in that Dandy's main thought process behind sleeping with this guy is 'Well. It's Stress Relief For Both Of Us, Maybe. I Know It Is For Me, At Least')

if you want a good grasp on their personality, i think "Happy Pills" by Weathers gives you a good idea (cheerfulness/eccentricity covering up severe emotional distress. plus the themes of using drugs as a coping mechanism)

Henry did eventually make the Bunny Suit (see my current sona, but Animatronic) for her, but uh. that was After Fredbear's Closed. but it Existed

he eventually did adopt three kids (a teen (15), a preteen (10), and a kid (6), all bio siblings), and!! he was having a good time!!

did unfortunately get springlocked in 1994. by William. and locked in the Backstage out of view of the camera for two weeks. but Ralph let them out. think Springtrap but Not Evil And Murdery.

kinda just went home and took care of xeir kids while hiding from society in the basement of xeir home. but xe Did raise xeir kids!!

eventually, a few years after Pizzeria Sim, it just kinda went "yeah i'm done. set me on fire i've seen enough" so that was that. its "funeral" was its kids lighting it on fire with a match and just. watching it go.

they do go to UCN though and kick William's ass for a while. Hell Hath No Fury.

All Hallows' Eve is less a singular film than it is a collection of three horror shorts tied together after the fact by a wraparound, two of which writer/director Damien Leone had previously made separately in 2008 and 2011 and one of which he made for this movie. Watching it today, after Leone has gone on to far greater success with the Terrifier films that he spun off from this, I found it to be a rough and uneven film but one where you could still tell that this guy had some serious talent. The segments range from acceptable if clichéd to simply dull and forgettable, but the framing device elevates them, the special effects are horrifying and especially well done for a low-budget indie production, and the recurring villain Art the Clown is a fuckin' frightening little bastard whose use throughout the film lent it an eerie feeling. Overall, it's only a film I'd recommend if you're a fan of the Terrifier series or looking to get into it (as I am), but if you're either of those things, and can stomach some seriously mean-spirited shit, definitely check it out.

The film starts with a babysitter named Sarah taking care of two kids, Timmy and Tia, on Halloween night after they come home from trick-or-treating, where Timmy discovers an unmarked VHS tape in his bag of candy. Timmy and Tia both want to see what's on it, and despite Sarah's protests, she gives in and throws it on, the contents of the tape being the three horror shorts at the center of this film -- which turn out to be far more real than Sarah ever anticipated. It's a simple but effective framing device that does a good job explaining how three mostly unrelated short films were gathered into one movie, and I slowly found myself getting more and more unnerved as it went on. The film's first segment began life as a 2008 short film titled The 9th Circle, and revolves around a woman at a train station who is kidnapped by Art the Clown and taken to be sacrificed by a Satanic cult that inhabits the tunnels beneath the station. It's a simple cult story barring Art's presence in it at the beginning, but it's an effective one, keeping its real monster in the shadows until the end and serving up plenty of claustrophobic scares capped off by some gnarly special effects. The third segment, meanwhile, is the original 2011 Terrifier short film that became the basis for the whole series, and it is a beast. Leone breaks out every low-budget indie filmmaker trick in the book as he makes Art into an unrelenting, inescapable, and darkly humorous and twisted figure who's not only killing people but enjoying every bit of it. He may be a silent slasher, but Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees he ain't; Mike Giannelli's performance leaves him brimming with a sadistic personality conveyed through his facial expressions, his mannerisms, and the props he brings out as he torments the people he's trying to kill, while some of the shit he pulls (especially to the protagonist of the third segment) takes the icky, misogynistic undertones that have long been read into the slasher genre and makes them an explicit part of his character, all the better to make me hate his ass more. And when the film wrapped up and the horror came for the babysitter Sarah who thought she was just watching a movie, it managed to get under my skin. There's a reason why Art's the one on the poster and why he became the breakout character.

So why, then, did the second segment, the one that Leone made to bring this movie up to feature length, have to be such hot garbage? It tried to stand on its own two feet as a segment without Art, with a story about a woman being harassed and abducted by alien visitors in her home, only to shoehorn in a reference to him that had nothing to do with the rest of the segment at the literal last minute. The acting isn't necessarily great at any point in this movie, but it felt especially hokey here, with this being largely a one-woman show in which the leading lady was hideously overacting throughout. The alien's look was a cool take on the classic "Grey alien" concept, but it was unfortunately undermined by its goofy movements, particularly how it constantly waved its arms to its side as it walked. It felt like I was watching a completely different, far lesser film from the one around it. Sarah even comments on how bad it is, and while that does admittedly improve the wraparound, it doesn't change the fact that, much like Sarah, I had to spend about fifteen minutes watching it.

The Bottom Line

It's an uneven film, but it's also a short one that never overstayed its welcome and ended on a good, dark note. There's really no "safe" introduction to the Terrifier series given the kind of vile character and grisly subject matter it's built around, but this is as good as any.

- spending enough time with Asmo has thought him a couple of tricks onto make one look nice with makeup

- the final result is pretty decent, not much color but it isnt all over the place unlike number 1 and 2

- best option, this man knows everything about beauty and he knows how to make you look even more beautiful with makeup, not as beautiful as him however so dont get to excited

- while he'll try to push in some pink because its probably his favorite color, he'll make any color work on you, you'll look like those aesthetical pictures on devilgram by the time he is done with you

- no need to worry with Asmo, you can just relax and let him do all the beauty work

- ok no but seriously, beel could easily get distracted so make sure to have some snacks with you and that his attention is at you while you two do this challenge, that and keep your hopes down
