For a contest on DeviantArt, to have Starscream with the person’s OC, Rubywing. I picked Armada cuz I love the Unicron Trilogy, and that was the best idea out of all I came up with. Gosh this thing was a pain, but it turned out well, so it was worth it.

Random lore drop abt my username, RubyWings was what I named this blog when I was abt 12 and at the height of my Wings of Fire obsession, I used to sign all my art @rubywings, obviously stopped doing that as I got older and became inactive on tumblr. But now being in college looking back I have such a fondness for it and ofc for those books, I literally made pieces abt them my freshman year of art school and have fragments of the book jackets hanging on my dorm room wall. I wanted my name to match my current obsession with F1 wanted it to be something clever but I think the simplicity of rubywingsracing absolutely eats and I’m very happy with it. Hope you enjoy my Wings of Fire x F1 crossover lore rant 😂.
