New au just dropped 😎
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sweet as Candy or SaC for short is a wreck it Ralph inspired au(crossover??? Ig?? Idk)
Bots and humans coexist, maybe flurries too and or candy people but idk I still have to plan out the plot fully,
What I have now is basically: Sun, Moon, and Y/n are childhood friends turned rivals as they each compete to win nationals
They're all professional racers mainly for go-karts but each have more personal favorite types of racing. Suns are karts, Moons are racecars and y/ns are motor bikes
The story would be mostly a slice of life following S M and Y/Ns shenanigans as they snarkily tease each other and train for nationals while also secretly pining for each other
But that's not all fun and games, as a science experiment underground goes haywire, causing a rampage.
The cybugs emerged, mechanical bug like bots with only three goals, kill, consume, multiply.
They wreaked havoc, destroying all in their path.
Some managed to defend against the beasts and find shelter, others though..

Weren't so lucky..

spire ᛜ false amphithere ᛜ beast wyrm ᛜ king of the roost
finally had the time to tackle this lad's reference; next up is a custom skin for him to match his headcanon! Lore rambles and general discussion of him / his spot in the lair beneath the cut to keep length down q wq
Spire is a false amphithere, technically a beast wyrm, that has settled and taken over one of the lair outposts. Most of his body is furred with thick boar bristle, but his chestplate is heavier armoured scale. Like most outpost heads, he bears the emblem of the joined clans on his wings and garb, although the over-ornamentation is mostly his magpie-like mate's preference.
The 'koi' on his wings is only ever visible under direct sunlight, where the fish-like scaling on his wings is most iridescent. Otherwise, it's just yet another glossy protective layer over his already armoured hide.
Beast wyrms are usually territorial and brutish, usually lone-wanderers due to conflict with others of their species. They rarely breed, which means their numbers are low, and quite a few of them will integrate themselves in mixed-species lairs that better suits the beast side of their bloodlines. Boars, bears, ox, and bison tend to be the most plentiful beast lines, with other species spotted scarcely. There's very little understanding on how they can continue their bloodlines or how new species are still popping up, and there are theories that they're instead created through corrupted interference. It very well could be both.
Spire's nature is a benefit to him where he is now, having quickly charmed most of the chattering amphitheres over within days of his first landing within their borders and ended up being the prize gem of their matriarch within a season. The amphitheres are chaotic and fickle creatures, and as such, they had strained relations with neighbouring clans until Spire was able to better translate between the groups. While the neighbouring dragon clans simply wanted access to the amphithere grounds for study and ( hopefully ) trade, the amphithere's distrusting nature made it near impossible to conduct anything of the sort safely. With the amphitheres now well-fed due to an influx of ley magics and their society a little more organised, they've been able to progress their roost to the point of joining a proper network. Most who venture into the roost know that they only have one chance, if they overstep they will be tossed either by an amphithere denizen, or Spire himself.
He's unable to fly for long distances, both due to his shorter wingspan compared to most flying-beasts, and the added weight of the boar bristling. He is able to glide, climb, crawl, and charge at quite a good speed though, which means most of his fighting is done on-ground after intentionally disabling his opponents' wings somehow or hindering their ability to fly at all. Like most dragon-folk, he has the ability to breathe 'fire' but it requires quite a lot of fuel to do so and is used sparingly. It takes his body at least twenty seconds to get a devastating flame charged and it's visibly obvious when he's preparing for it as the scaling on his chestplate will flare up, which means it's not something used without thought or desperation. He is powerful, but there are always limits and calls to that power. It's why he agreed to engage in the political alliances for the good of the roost, at least then if they do encounter a threat where he's limited in his abilities, the allied clans have promised to step in.
He has five functioning digits on his forelimbs, but they're limited in dexterity and mostly used as anchoring grapples or simple motion. Given the shape of his wings, it's difficult for him to turn his wrists without moving his entire wing, which means a lot of fine-tune work is often left to a different dragon. His hindlimbs only have two functioning digits, with a pair of curved claws and a pair of dewclaws for gripping behind them.
Although he can technically eat anything, his favourite foods are tubers and fresh melons, but he also enjoys just gnawing on bones. The amphitheres are unable to eat anything outside of raw ley energy and flesh, so any growing produce within their territory tends to be just for him, a few of the locals specifically hiding away small melon farms in corners of the cliffs away from where younglings may try to play with them.
Most of the allied clans call all citizens of the roost 'amphitheres,' which has lead to some confusion as not all dragons in the roost are technically amphitheres. Despite the differences in species though, socially and culturally, all species are amphitheres and equal as long as the same goals are kept. It's an odd place, but it somehow works.
l m a o none of this is organised but mmmm I just love this lad qwq

Had a silly dream where JD and Floyd came back to the troll tree before the last trollstice but after singing killed their grandma and decided to doodle and expand upon it a bit
Clay never left the tree but was too scared to return to the families pod since he didn’t want things to go back to how they were before, he did try to find his brothers during the escape but got separated by the cave in.
John Dory was the one to find Clay and see him get caught by the cave in, when he came out of the tunnel without Clay and holding his wristband they all just assumed he was dead. Even so JD still searches for Clay with the hope that he might’ve escaped and is alive out there.
They know Bruce is alive but after JD got the post card he assumed Bruce didn’t want to be found
Some more doodles that kind of show their dynamic
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also-
JD always brings home souvenirs for the brothers both as an apology for being gone for so long and also because of this:

Insane Heartslabyul AU
Comic parts: [part 1] [part 2]
Explanation
It all started the day after riddles overblot. He was different in a strange way. He apologized for what he did but it seemed fake. Days after the incident weren’t much better. He would get unreasonably angry at anyone who tried to touch the roses who weren’t from Heartslabyul. He would stand in the corner watching everyone as if waiting for signs of something to happen. When he thought no one had their eyes on him, he had a huge grin on his face.
Ace was the first sign of disaster. He locked himself in his room forcing his roommates to find another location to sleep. Riddle simply unlocked his door walking in after the third day. After a few minutes, Ace walked out acting like everything was normal yet now the same eerie feeling the riddle gave off also came from Ace. Then deuce fell ill. He would gag and cough yet never went to the infirmary. A few days later the same thing that had happened to Ace happened to Deuce. It was too late by the time the same thing happened to Trey and Cater. The whole dorm has fallen into insanity.
The blot had fused with the roses. The blot infected pollen spreading around the dorm spreading a madness inducing sickness. The dorm members practically praising there dorm leader and the blot for saving them.
Yet they were everything but saved.
Character bios
Tumblr media
Ace Trappola
- Ace was the first to fall to the madness.
- He dislikes not being able to stay out of the dorm for long periods without getting sick but he can deal.
- The one people outside the dorm are most suspicious of sense he finds it hard to hide his insanity.
- He believes he should share the feeling of being saved (insanity) with those he’s close with.
- Accidentally hurt Yuu Ken causing them to have memory problems when trying to “save” them
- Doesn’t try very hard anymore to “save” everyone anymore but he makes small attempts every now and then
- Once Yuu recovers through he will make sure to “save” them and everyone else if it’s the last thing he’ll do.
Tumblr media
Deuce Spade
- The second to fall into madness
- Would have fallen sooner but held it in until riddle pushed him over the edge
- Wants to “save” everyone with ace also
- He wonders if his mom would be proud of him
- Knows something is wrong with him but feels happy and feels like he finally has a chance to do something right
- See’s riddle as a savior
Tumblr media
Cater Diamond
- Third to fall
- Can stay out of the dorm for the longest period of time
- Even if you tried to tell him it’s wrong to rely upon the roses he dose not care.
- He knows it’s not good for him and he does not care.
- He knows exactly how to return the dorm to normal and he will do nothing about it.
- He feels happy and won’t let anyone take that away from him.
Tumblr media
Trey Clover
- Last to fall
- Mostly stays in the kitchen and bakes with the roses
- Just happy riddle is happy
- Remember the chapter one character development?
- Mostly gone
- If the dorm members let anything slip or leave an evidence to the state Heartslabyul is in. Trey is the one to clean it up.
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts
- Riddle is a lot gentler to his dorm mates
- He’s very aggressive to anyone who isn’t in Heartslabyul
- Calls the members of Heartslabyul card soldiers
- His mood can change in a second
- He dislikes the idea of spreading the insanity to others sense he believes it’s a gift for his card soldiers and only them.
- If it makes them happy he’ll turn a blind eye.
- after the Yuu Ken incident he’s the one who’s trying to heal them.
- He’s the one who gave the Heartslabyul boys there mask
- .... .. ... / .. ... / .-- .-. --- -. --.

Updated Patch's ref 🤭
Tumblr media
Some fun facts!
Patch wears long sleeves that drape over his hands at all times and doesn't like touching things with his bare hands.
In relation to that, he doesn't like physical contact with ANYONE besides Stickers, and will bite you if you try. He has gotten in trouble a lot for biting and scratching his peers
Patch is very good at sneaking around undetected, often scaring the other daycare workers.
With the aid of his nat 20 selth Patch is pretty good at swiping anything he finds interesting without people noticing, although he mostly always snatches away the other kids snacks.
Patch has a bit of a potty mouth and a bad temper
Patch can't stand in dirty rooms, or rooms he deems dirty anyway

botw2 (totk rewritten) ganondorf design (+some story) post
Tumblr media
Mummy version what link and zelda discover beneath hyrule castle when investigating the failing shiekah tech and discover a cave system that leads to several abandoned shiekah research/security sites and ultimately lead to a cave in which ganondorf is still sealed away by the ancient queen of hyrule; after the initial sealing (or capture rather) her descendant and the shiekah, who were rapidly advancing their tech at the time, build around it, both to keep the seal secret and safe (as the actual sealing was a short but intense battle between him and the queen that wasnt intended to happen like that, in the middle of the throne room that got broken and both ended up in the underground, the only survivor being the young princess of hyrule from that time- since all involved parties except for her died little was known as to how and why but the stories were spun regardless and ultimately the final narrative was in hyrules favor) and to use ganondorfs immense spiritual power and magical skill- eventually becoming one of the main power sources for all shiekah technology (ouch)
the chamber is all shiekah built (post sealing) and similarly secured like the monks in shrines (though visibly decaying and failing)- once disturbed the remainder of the ancient queen fused into zeldas hand (with seemingly no effect but temporary pain, perhaps she will hear voices from the past telling her not to explore any further .. still working on that) ganondorfs body falls to the ground but then springs back to life, somewhat clumsily but fiercly attacking zelda and link, the shock from being in this horrendous condition between life and death for thousands and thousands of years and suddendly being thrust back into his decayed and used up body still fresh
the mastersword is broken and links arm destroyed, both link and zelda start to flee from the crumbling cave, zelda dragging link behind her in panic (and as he is hurt)- after which link gets his shiekah tech arm (and the arm stays gone) and the world changes
mid game fight- this game is not as free in progression as botw, you can do alot when you want but some things will remain locked, the mid game fight can only happen once the 4 main regions problems have been dealt with (very different to canon totk, but that is for a different post) and the castle, which fell into the underground shortly after the intro, is made accessible (specific way how still in work) the interior is both broken castle, rooms previously blocked, and shiekah tech- since beneath the castle was a whole, giant array of tech made to secure the castle, including reserves of ancient energy specifically for the royal family and the entire mechanism behind the rising pillars filled with guardians-
at the start of the dungeon link is grabbed by malice/miasma hands and dragged into the castle, seperated from zelda and the mechanics she introduced (crafting/reparing weapons and more), theres no way out, teleports are blocked; after getting further in alone, zelda finds you again, and nothing seems out of the ordinary (unless you have a keen eye, she only uses her left arm and would walk past things she usually wouldnt) after a certain amount of progression, without warning, as soon as zelda is out of the cameras view she will attack you relentlessly, not speaking a word and with changed eye color- after fighting with her/beign chased into the main throne room, the real zelda breaks through a wall, her friends in tow (yunobo, teba+tulin, riju, sidon, which she went to to ask for help, explaining the time gap), and ganondorf drops the disguise, a fight with him (mummy version) ensues, though he is very much back to his senses
at the end of the fight he shows (or forces her to see) zelda his last memory from when he lived, the confrontation with the ancient queen to his sealing (since she doesnt know/is in denial of her families role in both all this and the sonaus (zonais) extinction (as well as the betrayal and persecution of the shiekah later on), and his beef is with her specifically, link is just her guard dog after all) (i wasnt sure to include a direct scene from the past, but this one scene is very self contained and gives alot of context while still letting most of the past be a mystery- as i want to keep it as feeling ... removed and unknown as much as possible from the world you know)
(after which he leaves the scene as zelda tries to understand what she just saw)
Tumblr media
post revival Ganondorf (beginning of end fight cutscene and phase 1.) only appears at the end (excluding the possible cutscene in the mid game fight, which shows him in his time, alive, which is a different design than this that i will make for a cutscene/story post)
the end of the game is in/on the forgotten plateau (it ends were botw began :) ) perhaps it rose higher and revealed an entrance after more game progression (at least one more dungeon, master kogas, and the restorations of the master sword via deku tree dungeon and sword quest involving the dragons; how much of the past you cared to explore within caves, which ARE the underground- its in several bigger and smaller, harder to access caves, each being somewhat to very unique and reveal more context, is largely irrelevant, it mostly serves to give YOU more context and make you think)
the dungeon is within the plateau, once to the end there is a longer cutscene of zelda trying to talk with ganondorf, now in his, largely, restored form (largely as in, not exactly as he was in past, clothing difference etc), her having come to understand what her legacy is and wanting to take responsibility for it; he listens calmly and talks to her for a bit (but the tension is very high, he knows what threat he poses and his goals, zelda is visibly trying to keep it together) and for a bit it might look like she can avoid this conflict
but he makes it very clear then, that she cannot undo anything, there is no possible price she could pay, he has suffered at hyrules hands for generations, having seen the world that was his home grow into myth, see his own people forget him, and how the history was remembered, not as it was, but as they wanted it to; he is forever changed, ripped from his time and all he ever held dear (there are clues and a mention of him having had two daughters, a little boar figurine, carved from wood of trees now extinct, hangs from his belt even now)- he wasnt a perfect king, but well liked and kept his country to stay strong against hyrules schemes .. until he fell- he is not truly alive, he is in a strangers world and this world hates him, it is anger and hatred, rage against all that happend, guilt for having failed his own, feeling betrayed by them yet, even if not truly their fault as no one knew what really happened except him, but he was imprisoned, with no breath to speak nor air to scream
he does not care for this world and his only goals now are to disrupt as much as possible, be the unstoppable force that hyrules always been, be the monster they wanted him to be, do as he wants until someone stops him ...and kill zelda to end her rotten family- but even if she gave up her life willingly he wouldnt take it, she will have to fight and make her own hands dirty and she does not want to die.
your friends arrive, and the battle begins.
(rough examples of his weapons are further below; he fights with one arm only in phase 1. then reforms his missing arm with malice, borrowed from the boar appearance, though it is not usable enough to truly replace it, it acts more like beasts claw and to copy some of links abilities, like the hookshot)
Tumblr media
Beast Ganon(dorf), normal appearance (phase 3)
at the end of phase 2 he knocks out your friends, changes into beast form and attacks you, zelda using her magic to shield both her and link so he cannot bite through, instead smashes them both through stone and dirt all the way to the surface of the plateau on which the fight continues, this time only link and zelda
(his movement isnt a senseless rage, but a graceful being, he moves and jumps, floats and swims through the air as the ground in an almost dragon like way, he still wields magic, not all malice, but lightning and perhaps even more too, it is still him, just a different form)
Tumblr media
Beast Ganon(dorf) while charging magic (phase 3)
Tumblr media
Ganondorf phase 2 + Ganondorf phase 4 (slightly out of order but the boar wouldnt fit on one picture with other forms)
at the end of phase 3 (beast) it seems like you have beaten him, he is down and zelda takes charge, ready to do as she did to the dark beast she faced before (dark beast ganon in botw) but as she raises her hand a sword slash cuts off half her right hand- he is not done yet and refuses to be dealt with like that again, not by her hand again-
the final phase is a mix of all, including his appearance, this is the final struggle, to give every last drop of strength, the hole in his chest is open, malice eyes staring from within, it keeps him alive yet still-
zelda is disabled for this fight, she has been taken to safety by your friends, this fight is all on link to finish; while this is his most desperate and vengeful form, he is not senseless either, he summons his sword to attack you with as he did in phase 2, then throws it at you, quickly conducting lighting to it and while you are busy dodging lunges like in beast form (to paint the picture a little), this fight is supposed to be truly challenging.
(heres a rough example for his weapons)
Tumblr media
(not fully sure of the ending scene, but there is supposed to be a short view into a timeskip in which zelda also has half a prosthetic hand made from shiekah tech)

Storyline Divergences
Cae was “born” of tiefling heritage. To his “mother’s” knowledge, she was convinced she was impregnated with a God’s seed in a virgin birth fashion, but no one knew if this was true or if Cae simply appeared out of nowhere as the birth was not witnessed. The village/town in which he was sired got raided and she fled with her newborn child. After making some distance, the assailants caught up to her, and as she clutched to her baby while they circled around, Cae’s uncontrollable crying grows louder; the sound piercing through everyone within earshot, compelling them to take their own lives in gruesome manners while they smile to the very last second.
Cae is then found by farmhands of a neighboring stead. They take him in, wholly believing the flayed people on the ground next to him to be other victims of the raid, this child a sole survivor.
Scelaritas watches everything unfold from afar. Under the orders of Bhaal, Cae is to be left to his own devices as he builds a relationship with this new family and inevitably is expected to betray them, honing his cruelty.
My interpretation of Bhaal within this universe is not only a numbers game. The correlation between Bhaal, Bane, and Loviatar holds more significance. There is worth in premeditation and cunning. Stripped souls are sweeter when they first harbor trust and are thrown into the revelation of treachery.
Cae grows to an early adolescent age while barely learning of the power his voice holds and exhibiting peculiar morbid tendencies. It is not a kind upbringing. He eventually kills one of his “sibling’s” pet rabbits subconsciously. Bhaal had expected him to take the life of a person; this was the first instance of Cae’s resistance, which displeased his father but also humored him considering the murdered subject. Bhaal is satisfied for now, he has confidence that Cae is his prodigy, and again- orders Scelaritas to allow him time to forge his own path of misplaced faith and blood until he is ready.
Young Cae is sold off by the disgusted farmhands to a slave trader, and then sold again to an affluent estate. This house was bent on turning him into a grand performer. Cae’s world view has warped, he believes every person serves as an object for some desire, and he holds resentment for everyone around him, but most of all- himself. During this time, he becomes more aware of his ability to influence others and of his lust for personal pain. Cae resists as much as he can manage, but he knows he is slipping. Bhaal is aware that it is only a matter of time before Cae embraces his lineage.
Cae is sent away to college by the estate that took him in, but while under the guise of performing his studies, he searches for answers to his twisted thoughts. His urges are almost the worst they can be, and he already divulges in some of them at this point. Just upon the precipice of finding the truth behind it all, he is fully greeted by Scelaritas, who reveals everything and offers to whisk Cae away from his mundane life. Cae is done fighting, done trying to find a cure for his own deepest desires. He chooses the freedom Bhaal promises. And he (mistakenly) thinks that this is his own choice.
Over the next years, Cae is trained as a bhaalspawn and rises up to be the cult leader of the temple of Bhaal.
When he meets Orin, she is at an age a bit younger than he was when he got bought from his first family. He hates her initially, as he does with all children. She pesters and annoys him, though purely out of reverence/respect. And Cae sees that, he is swayed by her brutal honesty, transparency, and genuine admiration. He grows to love her and his found father more than anyone else, they were the true family he always wanted, the one he believes he chose for himself.
Cae is aware of Orin’s incestuous upbringing, though he does not tell Orin of her ancestry. He intercepts her mother’s, Helena’s, first assassination attempt without Orin knowing. Cae keeps Orin closer to him after that and threatens Helena+Sarevok to stay away from her.
Cae is the one to teach Orin to appreciate the art of murder and needlessly creative killing from early on. The two will go on murder benders. She tries to be just like him, she grows out her hair and braids it in the same fashion, she morphs into tieflings often, wears lots of jewelry etc. However, as they get older, Cae becomes more calculating. He orchestrates mass cullings, is deceptively strict, and he ensures that the cult thrives more than it ever has before.
In Cae’s ambition, he meets Gortash. The two quickly begin a whirlwind relationship built on mutual profit, not excluding sexual romps. Orin hated gortash, she was insanely jealous that Cae began to spend more time with him, and she frequently attempted to take Gortash’s life. THIS is when Cae forbade her from harming Gortash, he put a spell on her, staying her blade. (A spell that lasts even in the future)
Over time, Cae falls back into his battle with autonomy. Both Gortash and Orin begin to understand Cae’s inner turmoil and his greater depression as he accidentally shows slivers of vulnerability. It makes Gortash grow emotionally closer to Cae, and it results in Orin’s scheme.
Orin honestly believes that death is what Cae really desires, that he wants to be free from the destiny that was chosen for him and the immeasurable expectations. But she knows that he would never betray their father, that he would never commit the act himself. She thinks that killing him is a mercy, and she would be forgiven as long as she took his burden, his place (which admittedly also excited her). She murders Cae out of love, not hate. After all is done, Orin turns out all of his drawers, dressers, vanities, full of jewelry and accessories, and weeps lying upon them. The last time she let out any real emotions. She buries everything else deep deep down, descending into madness. She finds Cae’s journal, she keeps it, but removes some of the entries (notably the ones whenever Cae complained or expressed his displeasure with Orin’s actions, but also some choice Gortash excerpts)
Orin is not the one that inserts the tadpole into Cae, it is Kressa. Kressa is also the one that cuts Cae’s braid off, which she kept for herself, and it could be found in the colony.
With Cae gone, Helena once again tries to Kill Orin (unsuccessfully) and this is when Orin desecrates her body, decorating Cae’s chambers with it.
Orin takes Cae’s place as ruler over the temple. Gortash somehow convinces her to continue with their plans for the absolute. She definitely tried to kill him again, but found that she could not due to Cae’s spell still in place. Under her rule, the temple falls into disorder and chaos.

I'm curious how becoming a parent/mentor on Cybertron works. Do the ones that want sparklings just go pick a random one from the ground? Is there like a process they need to go through first?
So first off, this post goes into some information on protoform nurseries. However I’ll delve into this further!
Where you are born determines who and what you are. For example, I image the Seekers as being a noble family in a way, as they have their own nursery that creates bots that are able to fly in vehicle mode (a very coveted ability). Also having red eyes, as that indicates a particular powerful spark. So those sparkings are given to Seekers in need of a disciple or ward, helping to sustain the Seekers high status.
With middle class nurseries, I image it’s more of a fill out a form and get assigned a sparkling kind of thing. Middle class transformers don’t really have to take in Sparklings, as any that are not found homes are given to academies to grow and learn a skill, be it as officers, builders, teachers stuff like that. They can be cars, motorcycles, trains, and even boats
Miner Sparklings are born in the mines, no surprise there. All are checked and given batch numbers as names, only some are given more traditional names by caretakers. They enjoy a small time of peace before being put to work in the mines when it’s deemed they can fallow directions. Miners are mostly working vehicles/ heavy duty vehicles, loading trucks, even mining equipment is common.
