HELLO I WAS THE ANON WHO ASKED ABOUT YOUR MAIN CAST AN I LOVE THEM???????? plz i need more (also do you plan to eventually write it someday? how long is the story? and do you have physical descriptions of them?) (i would die for Zen btw)

One day I hope to actually write the story out. I’ve got WIPs and notes for it but life has gotten in the way :(

I should work on actually writing down their descriptions, hey? I don’t remember very well what they were originally, but it’s probably developed a bit as time’s gone on. 

Maia is slim, but toned af, with insane amounts of hair. She’s very regal and can appear a bit snooty. But I wouldn’t go up against her in a fight, she’s had so much practice at surviving while growing up.

Zen is a bit of a typical pretty boy, except he’s non-binary. He had long, dead straight hair at one point, but he may have chopped it off. Think elf-like. He also flirts with everyone because he’s a dork. (and because he’s a charming spy who knows how to get information)

Arun is a bit larger. He’s a freakin tank, honestly. A little chubby in the belly but it hides so much muscle. He has a beard that he keeps trimmed while he’s young but the older he gets the longer it seems to get. He’s quite tall as well. His eyes are sharp though and he was raised in a very successful merchant family so he’s fast with numbers and smart af.

The whole story is so damn long because it starts from Maia and Max as children and the assassination of their parents, to finding each other, to getting the throne back, and beyond.

(also, I adore Zen, he’s such a dork who knows exactly how to annoy Maia and then hide behind Arun)

yo is it even possible to get a shiny female starter in Sun/Moon?

like, a shiny alone is 1/4096, but then they all have skewed gender ratios so that a female is 1/8

multiply that out and you get 1/32768, which comes out to ~0.0031%

even the desire sensor isn’t that cruel

Late posting of Inktober 11 and 12 (Malika Sabah and Arrowl respectfully), and the unfinished Inktober Day 13 and 14 which I didn't get the chance to do in time. I plan on finishing both eventually!

Dinah Lance?

What I love about them:I love how much Dinah’s life has been shaped by the superhero community. It’s a really interesting perspective, and I love her dynamics with the JSA so much. I love how complex and important her relationship with her mother is. I love that she keeps such an open heart, but at the same time she can be deeply intimidating and fierce. 

I don’t love what she went through in Longbow Hunters, but I did love the exploration of her trauma afterwards, and the later parallels with Babs, and her long journey towards feeling whole and powerful again.

I love that she’s one of the best fighters in the DC universe.

What I hate about them:The fishnets. STOP RIDING MOTORCYCLES IN FISHNETS, DINAH.

Favorite Moment/Quote:That’s hard! Thanks to Rena the Arsenal mini is on my mind, and this page ranks way up there. But my first exposure to Dinah was the first Birds of Prey special, and I love her final confrontation with Devine so much. 

But there’s also Secret Origins 50, where she visits her mother on her death bed and her Post-Crisis origins are established. Or that Shadow of the Bat issue where Dinah comes Gotham to solve a murder tied to her father’s legacy. 

Then in Black Canary 1993 she’s working on a case related to her own past, and -

What I would like to see more focus on:Her relationships with Roy, Connor and Mia and her memories of her parents. What I would like to see less focus on:I can’t think of anything, really. Favorite pairing with: Barbara, always. But also Helena and Diana and Shiva. 

Favorite friendship:The Birds, the post-Crisis League, the 2006 League, the JLI, Diana, Gan Nguyen...

NOTP:I really enjoy her and Ollie as two people who love each other and work really well as partners in vigilantism but just can’t maintain a romantic relationship. I do not enjoy them as an endgame marriage.  

Favorite headcanon:None are coming to mind. They hardly ever do when I do these memes. :p
