Artist intro for 2024! Decided for a more realistic approach.

Let's start with elaborating the text on screen:

I'm Emerson, or Ringo (cool name), but my persona and fursona is Poindexter, hence my username :3 My pronouns are he/him/his and not much else.

I'm eighteen (18) years old (my birthday is coming up though :D), and from western America, states such as Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, cowboy country :3

I'm a self-taught concept and comic artist, I have a fnaf (Five Nights at Freddy's) comic currently in the works and a creepypasta comic in the backrooms waiting to be worked on (my comic blog and Kofi are linked to catch up to what's going on). I'm planning on going to college to be an art major, so looking forward to that.

The disabilities I listed are strictly my neurological conditions: autism, Tourette's, and a hearing impairment :3 I am mentally ill as well, having OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and possibly NPD (narcissistic personality disorder).

I have special interests in fnaf and creepypasta, and I've thought about them so hard for so long that they've turned into little pawns for my storytelling. I enjoy Legend of Zelda, TF2, and a little bit of Pokémon as well. They haven't quite reached the same level as my first two loves, but we'll see what happens.

And lastly, I am a bunnyboy. I enjoy bunnies, I relate to bunnies, my fursona is a rabbit, so therefore I am, a bunnyboy.

How do you start finding love in your 20s if you've had no experience? I've never kissed anyone or had a romantic/sexual partner in any sense. I want to be in a romantic relationship but it seems like everyone else is so far ahead of me in experience, and isn't interested in someone who's in their mid 20s but has had less experience than an average teenager.

It doesn't help that I'm autistic and a lesbian and not conventionally attractive. I'm worried that I'm not ever going to be able to be in a romantic relationship. It feels like people would be fine accepting that I haven't been in a romantic/sexual relationship if I was aromantic/asexual, but I'm not. Instead of it being an active choice I made, it's just how my life has turned out unintentionally.

I often get the feeling even from other autistic people that they think I'm a loser and that it's a red flag in itself that I haven't found love yet, like there must be something inherently wrong and bad about me. I'm starting to feel like they're right and it might be better for everyone if I give up on romance entirely. But then part of me still wishes for that kind of companionship and closeness with someone.

This kinda cycles back to the last ask you sent wherein i mentioned i havent much time/energy for showing myself a good time in that i'm not sure i remember much of my fav fantasies. That being said...

Generally my go-to fantasies involve me not having a ton of control (whether its due to bondage or an overpowering monster or hypnosis or intox or what-have-you) and lately they have increasingly involved a certain pair of ghey mutuals (who shall remain nameless) in the dominant roles. Or one in a dominant role and the other in a sub role with me. Or one who is submissive to me and the other i am submissive to. Or any number of combinations really...

The mutuals are recurrent in my fantasies cuz of ghey yearning lol. Simple as that.

Basically i moved to the town of the girl i was long distance dating for college reasons (it was a poor decision, hush). After the initial first little bit of being all over each other faded she got a little jealous that i was making friends and building community (red flag, i know, but this aint about that) and decided to have a contest. She wanted to see who could endure not being allowed to kiss the other person the longest. Loser takes the winner on fancy dinner date or something. I forget. I remember thinking it was silly (in a good way) and easy (thanks to the autism and aromantic) so i spent a week teasing her about it and how poorly she was doing; i kept faking her out and getting her riled up before leaving for class cuz i thought it was funny to see her flustered. End of the week arrives and she breaks and kisses me. Next thing i remember is having a moment of clarity and laughing while balls deep inside her cuz she lost the bet so fucking hard. She did not appreciate my laughter.

I found out through either Tumblr or google I cant remember which??? Or maybe I saw it on Tumblr and googled it? Either way Tumblr was a factor

When did you know you were aromantic?

I tried dating my best friend and ended it in like 3 days bc I felt so fucking weird about the whole thing like very uncomfortable??? Like I felt like I couldn’t talk to him about certain stuff anymore and just being called someone’s “girlfriend” makes my skin crawl. I always had some weirdness around romance but I thought it was just bc I haven’t “found the right person yet” but if anyone was the “right person” it was my best friend and I couldn’t do it. Just own it. I’m actually actively trying to take my own advice bc like I said I don’t use the word irl but like,,,if you think you’re aro or somewhere on the spectrum, find a label that speaks to you and just own it. Being Aromantic isn’t cringey, its a valid orientation just like any other and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Ive spent too much time pretending to be alloromantic just to fit in, I’ve embarrassed myself too many times by pretending to be allo, Ive gone too far into my life pretending to be something im not just because its easier for others to understand. Ive gone through too much to discover my orientation to have some fucking losers on the internet tell me that its ‘not a real orientation’. Im aromantic. I feel comfortable in that label and no one can take that away from me.

Aromantic Awareness Week: Day 4

I missed day 3 because I'm a loser and day 4 is "talk about how a canon aromatic/spectrum character shows their aro pride" and I don't know of any confirmed aromantic/spectrum characters so I'm just gonna talk about:

Judged Jones

He would add an aromantic pride flag pin to his hat that he almost never takes off. He would wear shirts that corresponds with the flag, like flannels that are green, gray, white, and black. He would definitely count his serpent jacket as showing his pride subtly because of the colors. I think he would only go to pride if he wasn't going alone and knew that he probably wouldn't live down not going.

anyways there's this loser. sort of cute but also doesn't really look like a cham more as a one-off adopt

aromantic people are aliens, gettit. nah it's not that deep but it does look like a snot gremlin. the attempt at gradient makes the sudden turn to white jarring, not to mention the black sausage fingers.

idk man i didn't think i'd be on the train having to deal with this. it's a bat with bi colors stickies on. the bi flag has pretty colors actually and they've ruined it by making it a smudged blurry wreck and then taping the bi colors over its face so it can't see how dumbfuck stupid it looks

these things look like they're going to take me to candy mountain to steal my kidneys. literally an anthro dog with two primary colors and stickers with gross yellow teeth. just another lazy palette swap that's somehow insulting with their mocking yellow maws and eyes that stare right through your soul

i of course had to look up what a quagga is and it's an animal that's partially striped. it is a messy grey gradient and then very choppy thin lines that should've been bolder to stand out but nope. nails and horn and hooves some gross mud blend of various colors. the pupils being question marks makes it feel like it's trying way too damn hard especially since the sole reason it's a quagga was for alliteration.

the transgendeer idea isn't even new i've seen it in dainties but it sure is a fitting end to this line of blandly inept pride adopts i'll see in the trade channels a month later on the dot. they didn't even finish coloring the lineart on the lower right hoof they just locked the layer and ran a soft brush over it with their eyes closed.

Anybody have an image of the supoosedly trashy ass new Cham pride adopts I've been hearing about? Chams blocked me from their group years ago because I made a furry chameleon adopt and they interpreted it as an offbrand -__-

i don't know what made this designer think to draw a fucking sea lion, slap literal paint on it with yassification nails, and call it not only a cham but a pride adopt. it's just a fucking sea lion

finally. a cham. a pretty ugly one with over saturated colors that strain your eyes to look at but at least it looks like a cham albeit bottom of the barrel. the hearts feel egregious and especially last minute pandering. the green and blue were actually a nice mix but candychameleon of course had to bump up the saturation and ruin it because the bitch can't see

nvm turns out it was on a base with the same 20 second paint job of hearts and beginner level design sense. the paws annoy me the most because they're striped and it's just very tacky. the colors were also a soft, pleasing pastel that candy shat on. and then two primary colors of blue and yellow to really steal the color focus from the pink and make it hard on the eyes.

almost comforting to go back to the usual of an adopt that uses only the flag colors, which were made for a flag, and try to stretch them onto a whole body. looks like some purple gargoyle over the demisexual flag so instead of being a shitty pride adopt it just looks like a shitty cham adopt. swirl in the tail tacked on because they clearly forgot what they were trying to make chicken leg looking motherfucker

gay holo-robo. strategically designed to pander to the two biggest interests in chams: gays and robots. from the fact the lineart's still black, to no shading at all, to the goddamn rainbow nails they had to add extra green and blues in it's such a thoughtlessly lazy idea
