been thinking abt my fmab hunger games au all day and its so convoluted lmao

So there's three timelines we gotta explain right away

First timeline:

Riza Hawkeye won a la guns (in this au u get weapons and can use alchemy) thus became the victor for her district (like the equivalent of district 12 but i cant be bothered to have 24 ppl in a cast therefore we splitting this as arakawa intended- east district)

Second timeline:

Edward Elric was reaped. Al could not volunteer because he knew that if the capitol (aka central) ppl find out about his body theyd not only punish him but theyd probably also kill ed for comitting the taboo

Now!

It's WINRY who volunteers for some random girl because she is eds mechanic!! And he can't survive out there without her!! She is doing this for you Ed!

Riza is their haymitch. Roy Mustang, exists in this au but I'm torn between two routes for him

He's like a Gale character for Riza but the reason why he didn't volunteer to be alongside Riza for her HG was because he was too old by that point. Riza was like 18 when she got reaped.

Roy Mustang is a capitol boy who is the main schmoozing bitch that gets riza all her sponsors because that woman has 0 rizz. Effie but a man whore.

Ed and Winry win much alike Katniss and Peeta do in the first HG. I don't care for this. My fic would start with the 2nd quarter quell when all of the previous winners gotta fight.

Third timeline:

Winry gets chosen for the 75th HG. Riza steps up for her. They know she won't be this lucky again how she was last time.

Ed is the only East District male tribute.

Reason why riza stepped up is because these hunger games are going to be a bloodbath.

Olivier and Alex Armstrong will he competing. And they're careerists. (See this is where it gets kinda weird how to plan because if I have Central be capitol then that means we can't have Armstrong in this but which district would I put them in if I can't have this- lmao Olivier and Miles as North District tributes maybe - Miles may have volunteered for Alex because Alex came out of his HG completely traumatised (much alike in ishval))

Comanche and Izumi from the south district (also careerists or just built like that lmao)

And that just leaves us with the West District

This random boy gets reaped but oh! Oh! Don't worry - because there's someone who REALLY wants back in that arena! Ling Yao; funny funny guy, so similar to the mustang tbh (I wonder if Roy is part Xingese too), so funny and chipper. Loves food. Loves his country too, again so fucking based. Imagine being emperor of your country, hell yeah! I love his smile lmao 🤣

Mei Chang; really cute, her braids remind me of central Asian hairstyles :) Central Asia is so cool man… I’m 1/4th central Asian (and North Indian) ok?!? I like her little panda/cat too. She’s so sweet :3 a little red bean dumpling 🥟.

Lan Fan, mysterious cool girl. She literally cut off her arm to throw Wrath off DAMN girl. Her loyalty to Ling is WOW. I’d like to learn more about her. We didn’t get enough of Lan Fan.

Olivier Mira Armstrong; oh my god she’s so cool (and hot!). Sword fighting badass chick. Fur coats and all… damn. So cool and scary. She’s so honest, I love that about her. Very Balkan of her to NOT beat around the bush!!!

Alex Louis Armstrong; mustached muscly freak who’s actually really nice, but kinda scary. I actually appreciate him much more now than I used too. A heroic good guy 👍🏻. A gentle Giant. Probably really good at cooking too?

Izumi Curtis; I love her. Strong independent woman who’s also a house wife and loves her husband. Is a house wife who subverts every sexist stereotype of house wives. So damn cool. She lost a child through miscarriage. :( loves kids but is a “tough love” kinda gal. Doesn’t mess around. She’s really great. I love her relationship with Sig.

Sig Curtis; a gentle giant. Loving and understanding husband. Loves Izumi so much 😭 so patient with his crazy wife! That’s dedication right there! Probably really good at cooking 😀

Wrath; a cautionary tale. I actually really like King Bradley. I get him. Really angry lol. Bad ass. So good at sword fighting 🤩🤩🤩. Actually loves his wife… his story is actually sad. Who were his parents??? Orphan…

Envy: ; wtf a palm tree??? I hate this character but idk why. He/she/they irritates me. I like the cute tiny lizard form though. I really adore lizards :3. Kinda angry and angsty. I don’t get this character lol.

Lust; sexy lady roflmao. She’s really pretty, it’s true. Her nails on fleek 10/10. She’s an interesting character and I would’ve loved to see more of her. She died too soon.

Sloth; “what a pain ______ is”. I feel ya bro. He’s scary and muscly, but sleepy af. He does not give a single fuck 😹😹😹

Pride; snot nosed brat! I can’t stand this kid. 🤠 I think pride is my third biggest sin after Wrath and Sloth tho… but this kid was so annoying loooool. Spoiled little rich bitch 🤣

Gluttony; fatass. He’s kinda gross. Resembles a big fat drooling hungry baby lmaoooo.

Greed; we ALL have greed to some extent. He’s such a player. Goofy ass. Funny. Gets all the ladddiiiieeeessss. He wants to rule the world? Or he really just wants good friends who appreciate him???? A chill guy. Slightly annoying but tolerable xD

Father; what the fuck is that thing??? Dwarf in the flask LMAO. Shadowy figure. A weirdo.

Maes Hughes; the best dad ever! Spoils his daughter rotten! A great guy. Everyone is sad he died. I can see why Mustang really appreciated Hughes. He was such a great and kind hearted friend 😄. Made everyone feel better.

Miles; ok actually really cool. I get that 1/4th “other” feeling. Idk why but he’s really interesting. Looks cool :) he’s gonna help save Amestris AND the Ishvalans.

Scar; I I understand his anger. He’s very human and I appreciate that Hiromu Arakawa highlights his humanity despite his wrathfulness. He made a lot of horrible mistakes but we all know he’s on a path of redemption. He really likes cute things :3

Buccaneer; loyal as hell tough guy 🤣 acts so mean on the surface; but is actually nice and just wants SOMEONE to notice how much he cares lmao.

Kimblee; what the fuck? Kinda reminds me of the Boltons from ASOIAF. Long black straight hair pale faced and creepy as hell. Complete psycho and bloodthirsty as hell lmaoooo.

10. Kageyama “Mob” Shigeo

Mob Psycho 100 is not only weird and fun, but emotional with highs and lows. As goofy as Reigen is, Mob is the heart of this show and his growth is wonderful to watch. He struggles with his powers and emotions but the fix isn’t changing himself as much as it is accepting himself and the relationships in his life. At his core, Mob is incredibly caring—that’s what makes him so special. He’s not a self-sacrificing hero of the prophecy, he’s just Mob. He’s kind just because he is.

9. Olivier Mira Armstrong

I love badass female characters and Major General Armstrong does not disappoint. She’s calculating, cold, and incredibly good at her job. Sometimes, I feel that when writers introduce “strong women” in their stories, they either take a masculine character type and slap it on (the brutish tank, lone gunslinger, etc) but don’t shape their personality outside of “being the tough guy—but a woman!” Or they let a strong woman be feminine but have to emphasize that’s she’s not like the other girls, she can keep up with the guys. Major General Armstrong doesn’t suffer this mistreatment. She is strong, she is fierce. She is a woman. These things don’t affect each other. She is her own character with a personality developed outside of just being a role subversion. Also she’s pretty and has a sword (on one hand I don’t like using a saber, on the other hand saber looks so cool).

8. Roy Mustang

Another Fullmetal Alchemist character…this will be a theme. I think FMAB has some of the best written characters of all time, including Roy Mustang. He could’ve just been a goofy-but-badass charismatic boss and I would like him, but he’s so complex. Mustang is a product of his environment who realized it too late. But instead of escaping his sins, he trusts in his support network to help him rise to the top and ensure that what he did never happens again. Mustang spends the series hiking back from hell up a pathway of good intentions and not without stumbling. He has blood on his hands and he risks the lives of his team and children under his command (Ed and Al)—is that worth it? Mustang’s ideal society would execute him for his crimes. And yet, that’s what he wants. Oh I could talk about him so much more. What a good character.

7. Alphonse Elric

Despite spending most of the series as a suit of metal, Al is incredibly expressive. He balances Ed, but they still bicker like brothers and have their disagreements. He cares and it shows in the little things—the cats he hides in his armor, the support for his friends and respect for Mustang’s team, the willingness to hear out an enemy with a reason. He’s also a traumatized kid who encounters alchemical horrors—the scene with Martel’s death holy shit. What a scene!! He’s not always sunshine, he has trauma and he reacts in sometimes unhealthy ways. Like all FMAB characters, he’s written really well.

6. Alluka Zoldyck

Alluka! Am not gonna lie, a lot of it is that I think she’s just so cute. And despite being hidden away for most of her life and focusing on more childish things like games and hugs, she’s not completely naive. She navigates living with another being sharing her body and mind, an abusive family, and violent lifestyles. Unlike characters like Neon Nostrade or Zushi, she’s not gullible or oblivious, and doesn’t accidentally sabotage her brother’s efforts like child characters sometimes do. Also she’s so sweet when she loves Killua and Nanika! She’s also a canon trans girl who isn’t sexualized. Go Alluka!

5. Denji

As mainly a Chainsaw Man blog, Denji has to be on here. He’s grown on me so much since I first read the manga. I don’t think I can explain why I like him in such a short paragraph. He’s a dumb, broke, horny teenage boy with magical chainsaw powers from his dog. He’s been manipulated all his life. He got a good life and a family that he was made to kill and revealed to be set up so he would suffer their loss. And yet, he adopts Nayuta, he follows his promise to Pochita, he acknowledges how much his platonic relationships mean to him. He can be an asshole but at the core he’s a good person and doesn’t push boundaries to get what he wants.

4. Riza Hawkeye

Roy Mustang can’t be on this list without his queen. The reason I like them both is pretty similar. They both are fighting to atone for what they’ve done. Hawkeye is special in the way she supports Mustang’s every step. She doesn’t have to act the same as him, she’s definitely her own person with her own struggles, but the reasons I like her are just like Mustang’s. She’s also a badass. But when I think about why they are my favorites, I think of them together. Their relationship, whether you see it as romantic or not, is what makes them such incredible characters. They are the true ride or dies.

3. Power

My reasons for Powy being one of my favorites is not as deep as others. Yes she has great character growth as well in learning to care for others, but she’s feral. She has demon horns and blood weapons as is feral. She cackles when she laughs and she speaks like a 12 year old trying to write a medieval novel and doesn’t eat her veggies. She bites to show affection and her brothers style her hair for her. Her cat is named “Meowy”. She’s a mess and I love her.

2. Edward Elric

How can I talk about Fullmetal Alchemist without the Fullmetal Alchemist himself? I love this short king for his character design (badass coat, auto mail, braid with the anime hair vents). FMAB would not be a cohesive story without Ed, not just because he’s the main character, but because of how curious, smart, reckless, and loyal he is. Ed brings the cast together. His character growth is great for a child soldier. He’s powerful but still learning that the world is more than black and white. He’s insanely talented at alchemy but not for being born with it, but his passion for and experimentation even when it fails (and boy does he fail!). He has moments where he struggles with his disability and prosthetics but it does not hold him back. And he loves his friends and family so much and shows it in ways that matter to them! The Winry gun scene…. Anyways I love Edward Elric.

1. Killua Zoldyck

Hunter X Hunter is the one of the earlier anime I watched and it holds a special place in my heart. Killua is great throughout. You meet him and you’re like “sick! 12-year-old white-haired anime boy on a skateboard” and then he rips a serial killer’s heart out. He alternates between being tortured (literally) by his past and being a goofy kid who spent 1.5 million dollars on chocolate during the 4 years his dad made him fight MMA matches for a living. And then you find out he’s desperately fighting for free will to stay by the side of the only person he’s ever loved who is another self-sacrificing preteen boy who he has a suicide pact with. And then when said boy almost dies from overusing his magic rock paper scissors power, Killua breaks his sister free of their assassin family to heal him.

His magic shounen power is using electricity because he was electrocuted so much as a kid he’s immune to it. He makes (*ⓛ ω ⓛ *) cat faces. If that doesn’t tell you why I love him idk what does. He’s everything. And he’s extra special to me because he’s a tragically sad gay kid with a crush on his best friend. Hits a little close to home. The “Gon you are light” speech makes me cry. I don’t think I can actually put into words what he makes me feel. He’s just like his theme song. Listen to “The Silver Haired Boy” and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Okay, the Hazbin x FMA AU is pretty much just me taking FMA characters and plonking them in the Hazbin Hotel timeline as the various characters for my own amusement.

Anyway, when I do end up writing it, it'll take place over eight chapters as the eight episodes, each titled accordingly.

There will probably be basic cosmetic changes - e.g. colour changes on Ling as a spider boy so he's mainly black with yellow accents instead of white with pink accents, and that Greed (instead of being a cat) is probably just going to look like his ultimate shield form.

I will go over things now as to prepare everyone or give people a head start on asking questions. (This is only if you want to, these questions should be directed toward the main cast of FMAB but I will explain later on in this post!)

There are a few rules, not that anyone should have a problem following them nor won't they be common sense, but I'm stating them regardless. Y'know, just in case.

1.) No ships should be brought up within this particular AU, especially ships *involving* Ed. You can ask characters their thoughts or relationships with fellow characters as to establish a feel for them. But no questions or statements of "oo you should get together with so-n-so.". Those comments/asks will be ignored unless I can think of a funny reaction a character may have. However, Ed specifically will *not* be shipped with any characters within this AU; Mostly because I feel really uncomfortable having a borderline animal having a relationship with a human (I'm also not shipping Ed with other chimeras.)

2.) No OCs should be asked to be in the au or anything. But, I will give a little leeway in the sense of drawing said OCs as literal background characters. They will serve no point in the plot unless there are some good suggestions (e.g. someone's oc could be one of the lab scientists or smth.) This is a flexible rule but a rule because I will most likely not put people's OCs in the background. The shipping rule also pertains with OCs and Canons (but please don't get me wrong, I love OC x CC, but just not in this AU. Maybe if I were to make a public rp I would give leeway but as far as the comic goes: No.)

3.) No sexual or NSFW questions/asks. I will not entertain those asks/comments. ESPECIALLY if it involves a minor (aged) character. Suggestive asks (to an extent) will be allowed with *only* adult characters. (The miniskirt shit doesn't count as suggestive but if it were, that would be OK to talk to Roy about for example.)

- Edward Elric:

He will view the comments/asks as him hearing things, therefore he will most likely panic or act skittish.

- Alphonse Elric:

Asks/comments will be in the form of cats he stashes in his armor, or rather cat; Specifically the yellow striped one he was seen with a decent amount in the 03 anime and GBA game. Al is the only exception to the "No physically interacting" rule. Because asks for him is a cat, so you can (within reason) physically interact with him.

- Scar:

He will probably ignore asks/comments at first! That being said, he thinks it's his brother communicating to him through his arm; Or victims of his arm.

- Roy Pisstang:

He will probably view asks/comments similarly to Ed, but process them with much less panic. Probably believing it to be his gut or intuition.

- Riza Hawkeye:

She is the same as Roy in the ask/comments sense.

- Jean Havoc:

This bbg will think that he's finally reached his breaking point mentally, however, he will entertain the asks/comments to an extent. He is much more relaxed for such with a cigarette.

- Alex Armstrong:

He's just insane and probably thinks his big ass muscles are talking to him. Idk. Or his fucking tuff of hair.

For now, as of the beginning of the comic, these are the characters you as the viewer can interact with!

I finally finished Fullmetal Alchemist

I watched some of Brotherhood and read the entire manga

It took me about three weeks to finish all 27 books

I had a dream where Riza Hawkeye and... da da da daaa~ Major Armstrong’s little sister CATHERINE are DATING.

Like, Armstrong tells Riza that it is of utmost importance that she is properly introduced to the Armstrong family, as is tradition long held in the Armstrong family for generations upon generations... at an Armstrong pool party! Hosted by the head of the Armstrong family!

So yeah, Catherine has never told her parents (or the rest of her siblings) that she’s dating Riza. Probably because traditionally the ladies of the Armstrong family married men and vice versa. But Armstrong fully supports and encourages them in any way possible! Catherine is pretty calm about all this, convinced that her parents will understand but Riza is... uncharacteristically nervous about all this.

Once Jean Havoc finds out they’re dating, he’s appalled because not even Riza (as cool as she is) is as buff as Armstrong himself! Meanwhile the rest of the team convince Riza to go ahead to the pool party anyway.

And the pool is gigantic. Like one would find at a mansion. Pretty white concrete and bricks adorn it (somehow? It’s a dream, what did you expect?) It’s so huge that everyone at the party is just hanging out in the pool while snacking on biscuits and glasses of wine. Oh, and the biscuits and wine are on floating trays in the pool and somehow never knocked overboard?

“This is a grand pool,” Riza comments, trying to make small talk.

“Ah, yes!” Major Armstrong explains, “This pool has been in the Armstrong family for generations upon generations! Our ancestors built this-”

Armstrong blabbers on, pink sparkle and flexing biceps galore. Riza somehow sees pink sparkles around ALL the Armstrongs as they’re entranced by the glory stories of how the pool was built with pure muscle.

So there’s Riza, in the pool leaning back against an edge and using a glass of wine as a sort of metaphorical barrier between herself and the family. Everyone is talking and having a good time. However, Catherine’s mother speaks up:

“My darling Catherine, I must say, where is this handsome date of yours?” Mrs. Armstrong asks, smiling.

“Yes, yes,” Mr. Armstrong drawls, smoothing his curly mustache with his blunt fingertips, “It is most unfashionable to keep us waiting at this party, I must say.”

Riza spits out her wine in disbelief. As far as she knew she was the only non-Armstrong there.

Then this whole time the party is going on, Olivier is leery eyed towards Riza (because y’know she’s smart and protective of Catherine. Like I’ve never actually read or watched that far into FMA manga/Brotherhood anime.)

The whole family looks around, and see Catherine smiling cutely towards Riza who is visibly sweating drops of beads on her forehead. They’re shocked, but not in disgust, just merely surprised and perhaps a bit disappointed because Riza ISN’T buff like one should marry into the Armstrong family. As they’re nitpicking at her like:

“I can barely see any muscle.”

“Can she even lift a piano?”

And so on and so forth.

With every comment the family slowly moves towards Riza, and she is shaking as if holding herself back from going apeshit, BUT HECK. She grabs her pistol that’s somehow been undetected this whole time and snugly fit on her hip while using her swimsuit bottom as a gun belt somehow?? She points it at the family, who raise their arms and immediately shut their mouths.

“My name is Hawkeye for a reason,” Riza seethes.

Meanwhile Catherine is still smiling, not even a hint of worry on her face, and Armstrong nods. Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong look at one another, a bit confused and maybe unsure. But upon closer inspection...

“Ah! I see!” Mr. Armstrong exclaims, “You are strong! Yes, quite so.”

“Yes!” Mrs. Armstrong gushes, “Catherine loves men as buff as her elder brother Alex and women as buff as her elder sister Olivier!”

Riza spits out more wine once this is pointed out.

So yes, Riza x Catherine? Rizerine? Catheriza?

"Fullmetal Alchemist x Monster Strike" Elric Brothers can be Transformed into Beast Gods & New Characters Debut! Collaboration Second Edition Now Available

The second collaboration between the TV anime series "Fullmetal Alchemist" and the popular mobile game "Monster Strike" (called "MoNSt" for short) is currently ongoing, starting from February 12, 2023. Characters such as "Van Hohenheim," "Olivier Mira Armstrong," "Riza Hawkeye & Roy Mustang" have made their first appearance in the limited-time gacha.

"Fullmetal Alchemist" is a dark fantasy series based on a manga by Hiromu Arakawa, which was serialized in "Monthly Shonen Gangan" from 2001. It won the 49th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2004. The series follows the Elric brothers, who lost everything in their attempt to revive their dead mother through the forbidden practice of human transmutation, as they embark on a journey to retrieve what they have lost.

The anime adaptation aired from April 2009 to July 2010. The second collaboration in "Monster Strike" features the return of the characters from the first collaboration, including the Elric brothers, Roy Mustang, and Ling Yao, with new abilities such as beastification. Additionally, Van Hohenheim, Olivier Mira Armstrong, Riza Hawkeye & Roy Mustang, Maes Hughes, and Izumi Curtis are making their first appearance in the limited-time gacha.

Players who purchase the "Collaboration Starter Pack" can obtain "Edward Elric & Winry Rockbell." "May Chang," "Jean Havoc," and "Fu & Lan Fan" are also obtainable through logins and mission completions.

Quests will also feature the appearances of "Pride," "Sloth," and "Solf J. Kimbley."
