The bell rings, and the two meet in the middle of the ring, strangely enough, Eric reaches out and extends his hand to Riley, looking for a handshake. A rare show of sportsmanship from Eric Taylor perhaps, and Riley, surprisingly, very hesitantly reaches out and accepts it, before rolling out of the way as Eric tries to pull her in and nail her with a forearm! Riley wags a finger at Eric, telling him that shes not stupid enough to fall for that. Eric huffs, already frustrated, and the two lock up! Riley pulls him into a headlock quickly, but Eric shoots her off the ropes, on the rebound, Riley takes him down with a big shoulder tackle. Riley gives him a mocking wave as she looks down at him, and hits the ropes again, Eric quickly up to his feet, leapfrog’s Riley, and on the rebound, nails Riley with a big dropkick! Follows it up with a big kip up back to his feet, and he takes the time to take a lap around the ring, showing all of New York just how damn good Eric Taylor thinks he is.
Eric gets back up and quickly traps Riley in a wirstlock, trying to wear down on Riley’s arm. Eric continues to wrench on Riley’s arm, but Riley manages to twist through again, and wrench Eric’s arm, before pulling him into a headlock. Riley’s a world renowned grappler, and it’s showing so far tonight. Riley wrenches in the side headlock, before Eric manages to back her into the ropes, shooting Riley off the ropes, but on the rebound, Riley drops Eric with a shoulder tackle! As Eric’s dropped to the mat, Riley puts a finger to her ear, noting that Eric’s supporters have gone quiet here for a second. Riley smirks to herself, before turning to hit the ropes, but Eric drops down in front of her, and then on the next rebound, Eric leapfrogs Riley, before on the third rebound catching Riley with a big arm drag! Riley hits the mat, and Eric continues to wrench the arm bar, trying to weaken Riley here. Riley fights back up to her feet, and sends Eric off the ropes, but this time on the rebound, Eric takes Riley down with the shoulder tackle!
Eric takes a second to play to his small group of fans, before turning to hit the ropes, this time Riley dropping down in front of him, forcing Eric to jump over her, and then leapfrogging Eric on the rebound, before catching Eric with a deep armdrag of her own, right into the armbar! Riley showing the young, brash Taylor how its done here! Riley continues to wrench the arm, as Eric tries to get his feet back under him, Riley not letting go. Eric manages to get back to his feet, but Riley is still wrenching the arm, Eric tries to forward roll to reverse pressure, and then gain control of Riley’s arm, but as Eric gets back up, Riley catches him with another armdrag, restablishing arm control as she once again has Eric down on the mat! Riley with one hell of an experience advantage here, and she was showing it off. Riley continues to wrench the arm as Eric gets back up once again, this time electing to back Ishimori into the corner. Eric then tries to send Riley across the ring, but Riley instead pulls Eric back in and nails him with a forearm shot! Eric shakes it off, and kicks Riley in the gut a couple of times, before eventually trying again, but Riley turns it around on him, sending Eric into the opposite corner, but Eric manages to go up and over on Riley, before grabbing her and catching her with another deep armdrag here!
Eric continues to work over the arm, wrenching down on it. Riley relies on her arms for so many of her submission holds and other powerful manuvers, and it seems Eric knows that, and is targeting the shoulder and elbow to weaken Ishimori. Eric puts his knee on Riley’s head to continue to add pressure to the joint, but Riley is quickly able to escape and work back to her feet, forcing Eric back into the corner. Clemons tries to back Riley off of Eric, but as she releases her hold on him, Riley follows it up by kneeing Eric Taylor directly in the gut! Riley follows it up with a big elbow right to the back of Eric’s head, before grabbing Eric and throwing him right into the turnbuckles, head first.
Riley goes to send Eric into the opposite corner with a whip, but Riley goes up and over the top rope, landing on the outside apron. Eric tries to charge her, but a shoulder to the gut forces him to hunch over, as Riley slingshots herself over the ropes and into a sunset flip, before pushing Eric through, getting backup, and nailing Eric with a superkick right to the jaw!
Eric rolls out of the ring, and in a huff of frustration, Eric decides he’s wasted enough time here tonight. Eric goes and grabs a ladder, and starts trying to maneuver it right back into the ring, so he can start trying to get his title back. Riley meets him as he turns around, though, nailing Eric with a forearm, and forcing him to drop the ladder, as Riley steals it from him, and bridges it across the ring apron and the steel guardrail, before turning her attention back to Eric. Eric catches her with a right to the gut, though, before grabbing Riley and throwing her right into the steel guardrail! Riley’s spine hits the steel! Eric takes a couple steps back, before charging Riley, and nailing her with a clothesline, knocking her right over the guardrail and out into the fans!
“If the action looks like it’s coming your way, it is! Grab your shit and move!”
A familar warning from Steve Guy, but perhaps one people wouldn’t expect from a Eric Taylor and Riley Ishimori match, but that’s just the way MPW’s been going these next couple of months. Eric jumps over the guardrail, and meets Riley on the floor, before the two begin trading forearms back and forth, this one has spilled out into a brawl in the crowd!
Riley & Eric go back and forths, trading right hands and forearm shots, trying to beat the hell out of each other! Riley and Eric go back and forth, Eric tries to rake Riley’s eyes, but Riley blocks it, and nails Eric with a big headbutt! Eric goes stumbling back, and Riley grabs a chair from one of our audience members, and whaps Eric in the back with it! Eric tries to get away, but Riley just grabs Eric and shitcans him back over the guardrail, back to the ringside area, before she measures, and leaps up onto the guardrail, before leaping onto Eric, and taking him out with a tornado DDT! Eric Taylor’s head spiked into the floor! Riley gets him back in the ring for a cover!
1….2… Kickout!
Eric Taylor stays alive! Riley picks Eric back up and goes to send Eric into the opposite corner with a whip, but Riley goes up and over the top rope, landing on the outside apron. Eric tries to charge her, but a shoulder to the gut forces him to hunch over, as Riley slingshots herself over the ropes and into a sunset flip, shoulders down!
1….2… Kickout!
Eric kicks out but Riley’s right back in control of his arm with the armbar, working it over as she did before. Eric is quick to try and get back to his feet though, backing Riley into the corner, before shooting her off into the opposite turnbuckles. Riley once again goes up and over and lands on her feet on the apron. Eric charges in, as Riley launches herself for the sunset flip again, thinking Eric fell for the same trick, but this time Eric blocks it and Riley rolls up to her feet, only for Eric to lift her up and drop her neck first on the ropes with a Stungun! Beautiful counter by the rookie!
Eric gets up and mocks Riley with a little strut, before making the cover on Riley.
1… Kickout!
Perhaps the strut wasted just a little too much time as all Eric gets is a one count. Eric gets back to his feet after the rookie mistake, but stays on Riley, stomping right on her hand! Riley sits up and clutches her hand, shaking it out as she grits her teeth. Eric follows it up with a kick to the back, right on Riley’s spine. Eric then traps Riley in a headlock, wrenching down, trying to weaken Ishimori even further. Riley starts to fight back up to her feet, catching Eric with a couple of right hands to the gut, before sending Eric into the ropes, only to get leveled by a huge clothesline on the rebound from Eric! Cover!
1….2… Kickout!
That time Taylor manages to get a two count, but the match is still going. Riley crawls to the ropes, but Eric doesn’t give her a second to breathe, putting a knee on the back of Riley’s head and choking her against the ropes, until Clemons has to pull Eric off of her! While Clemons is busy repremanding Eric, he doesn’t see Solo Sikoa grab Riley and continue to choke her on the ropes behind the ref’s back! Solo backs off before Clemons turns around, and Eric grabs a handful of Riley’s hair, nailing her with a straight right hand. Eric monuts Riley, and peppers her with a couple of right hands, before going for another cover.
1….2… Kickout!
Riley out at two again, but Eric for his efforts has managed to force Riley onto the defensive, which is what he had to do if he was gonna win this match. Eric gets back to his feet, grabbing Riley, and planting her with a back suplex, before rolling out onto the arpon, before using the ropes to launch himself and crash down on Riley with a rolling senton, dropping himself right on Riley’s sternum, before going for another cover!
1….2… Kickout!
Another kickout, but Eric might be managing to chip away at Riley’s armor even further. Eric gets back up, and grabs Riley into a surfboard stretch, driving his knee into Riley’s back as Riley as her arms pulled tag, once again the stress being targeted at Riley’s shoulders. Eric continues to wrench, but Riley is quick to get an arm free, before using that to help her get up, and to help turn herself. Riley is back up, but Eric kicks her in the gut, before lifting Riley up and planting her with a Brainbuster! Cover by Eric Taylor!
1….2… Kickout!
Riley stays alive once again! Eric Taylor pounds the mat in frustration, and quickly tries to push his advantage, picking Riley back up, and trying to set up for what looks to be a Piledriver, but Riley manages to shove Eric off. Riley charges Eric again, but Eric grabs the referee and pulls them in the way, and Riley catches the referee with a boot to the face! The referee goes down, and Eric Taylor takes advantage of Riley’s moment of shock, as she realizes what she did, and she doesn’t see it coming as Eric Taylor goes low on her! A clam punt on Riley, yes, it hurts those with lady parts too, sends Riley dropping to her hands and knees, and now Eric Taylor has Riley right where he wants her. Eric goes to spring off the ropes, looking for the Springboard Curb Stomp, but as Eric springs off the ropes, suddenly, a hooded camera man jumps up in an amazing feat of athleticism, camera in hand, and CLOCKS Eric Taylor with the camera! Eric collapses down to the mat in a heap, as another camera pans to the camera man that just took a shot at Eric Taylor, revealing, as the man readjusts his hood, it’s actually Dyln Blaine! Dyln Blaine gives the camera a shush, before dropping his camera and bailing out of the ringside area! Dyln with the sabotage play!
Riley may not know entirely what just happened, but she knows Eric Taylor is out, flat on his back at the moment! Riley shrugs and picks Eric Taylor back up, before dropping ET with a BIG Godkiller! Goodnight, Eric! Our referee comes to just in time to count the pin!
1…..2….3!
“Here is your winner, Riley Ishimori!”

Very interesting to see which moves and sequences were already around and which weren't, and what of the stuff they were doing was lost in time. So many armdrags. A backbreaker but the other way round, guess that's a stomach breaker. Haven't seen a single suplex yet, have seen several things that resemble hurricanranas from a standing position as well as people jumping up on their opponent's shoulder for a crucifix takedown. Also running the ropes with leapfrogs and all that is definitely a late in the match escalation and finish kind of thing, not how you start it off.
Watched some of that 60s Catch (translator's note: catch means pro wrestling) and I did not expect them to be doing lucha shit. Like what was that, Le Petit Prince??

It wouldn’t be the MPW Holiday Show without a little Christmas hardcore action, and we have two of the biggest psychopaths in MPW history, both men have been here since the very beginning, both men are known for some of the most brutal moments in MPW history. It’s the Christmas Street Fight, Mance Warner vs Atticus Cogar of the Dollhouse, lets get crazy!
Referee Jason Ayers was on the call for this one, and no doubt, his task would be a little easier tonight. Per usual with the matches of both of these men, the rules in this one would be relaxed. That meant Jason was simply here to count a pinfall, or record a submission. Everything else tonight would be fair game. Perhaps a little unusual for these two men, Mance and Atticus started with a lock up, which ended with Mance Warner getting the advantage, the larger of the two men forcing Atticus backwards into the corner, and holding him there for a moment. Ayers warned Mance to get Atticus out of the corner, a warning that would most likely go unheeded due to the relaxed rules of this match. Mance did break the lock up, though, and started Atticus down. Atticus patted himself on the chest, before wrapping his own arms around the ropes, challenging Mance Warner to give him his best shot. Excalibur on commentary warned that this might not be a good idea, issuing such a challenge to one of the hardest hitting men on the MPW roster, but Atticus Cogar was nothing if not tough, and certainly nothing if not fearless. Mance reared back and put everything he had into a chop that caught Atticus flush in the chest, but rather than falter or show any sign of weakness, Atticus responded by pressing his forehead against Mance’s, before tipping Mance’s chin up, and firing back with a chop of his own, the sound echoing throughout the building! Mance fires back with another chop, and Atticus returns it in earnest, before Mance decides to switch things up, popping Atticus with a stiff right hand to the jaw instead! Atticus staggers, before coming back and blasting Mance with a forearm shot of his own, staggering Mance backwards for a second, before Mance fires back with a right hand! Atticus staggers for a moment before Mance tries to pop Atticus up into the air for a Pop-Up Headbutt, but Atticus instead turns it into a Lucha-Style armdrag, sending Mance across the ring, before getting back to his feet and charging Mance, catching him with a jumping Enziguri that knocks Mance Warner right out of the ring! Atticus gets back up and runs off the ropes to build momentum, before Atticus dives through the ropes and takes out Mancer with a sucide dive to the outside! Mance is taken out and knocked right into the barricade, and Atticus Cogar is quickly back to his feet, and diving back into the ring, before hitting the ropes again and trying to dive out onto Mance with another suicide dive, but this time Mance was ready for it, grabbing a chair from ringside and throwing it at Atticus’ head right as he tried to dive through the ropes, sending Atticus crashing and burning on the outside! Mance was quick to then grab Atticus and whip him into the steel barricade, before hammering away at him with a series of stiff right hands to the jaw! Eventually Atticus fell down, slumped against the guardrail, as Mance let out a cathartic yell, releasing some of that frustration he’d been letting build up over the last couple of weeks!
‘I fuckin’ love this shit, baby!” Mance yelled out, before marching back over to Atticus, and catching him with a few stomps, trying to keep the younger man down, before Mance began to dig around under the ring, looking for some more toys to play with. Mance found a couple of chairs and tossed those into the ring, along with a door that made its way into the ring as well. Mance then dug under the ring and found something extra special, something that had Mance coming back up from the ring skirt with a huge smile on his face- Ol’ Mancer found a staple gun. Mance pointed the staple gun at Atticus and shot a few staples his way to indicate what was to come and to test out the gun, before going up to a couple of fans in the front row who had gotten their wallets out, and had pulled out dollar bills. Mance collected the dollar bills and marched up to Atticus, and placed one of the dollar bills on Atticus’ forehead, before stapling it there with the staple gun! Atticus cried out in pain, and Mance placed another one on Atticus’ arm, before stapling it there with the staple gun as well! Mance then placed another one on Atticus’ other arm, before stapling it there, and finishing it off with grabbing Atticus’ tongue as Atticus let out a cry of pain, putting a dollar bill on it, and stapling the dollar bill to Atticus’ tongue! Atticus’ eyes went wide with agony, as Mance grinned, watching Atticus drop to his knees in agony. A “You Sick Fuck!” chant broke out over the savage, sadistic display of brutality, and Mance simply nodded in agreement with the statement. Mance tossed aside the staple gun and caught Atticus with a few more right hands to the jaw, before finishing him off with a Dusty Rhodes Style Bionic Elbow to the dome of the head! Atticus dropped down to the floor, and Mance took the opportunity to stand up on a ringside chair, and soak in the adoration from the crowd, who at this point had broken into a frenzy, continuously chanting “MANCER! MANCER! MANCER!” Over and over again.
Mance finished up soaking in the reaction from the fans, before he grabbed Atticus again, and tossed Atticus back into the ring. Mance went digging for more weapons underneath the ring, and seemed to find exactly what he had been looking for, a tube bundle, and placing it up on the arpon. Before Mance could do anything else with it, though, Atticus got back to his feet and charged Mance and the lighttube bundle, sliding and catching the bundle and Mance with a low dropkick, sending the tube bundle shattering out onto Mance Warner! Mance was knocked off his feet, and absolutely covered in broken glass. Atticus tossed Mance back into the ring and grabbed him again, lifting him up and dropping him head first with a Piledriver, before rolling Mance over into a cover!
1….2… Kickout!
Mance Warner manages to stay alive! Atticus caught him with a few stomps before grabbing Mance by the beard, and dragging him over towards the ropes, showing him off to the crowd. It was his turn to stick things in Mance’s head, and it appeared his tools of choice were a handful of skewers, of which he pressed the pointy end into Mance’s forehead, before giving them a few hard smacks with the palm of his hand, before releasing them, allowing them to peacock out on Ol’ Mancer’s head, almost all of them stuck in there and stuck in there deep. Blood poured from Mance’s forehead, as Atticus grabbed him and jumped up onto the top turnbuckle, before planting Mance with a DDT, dropping him right where the skewers were inserted into his head! Cogar went for the cover!
1...2… Kickout!
Mance managed to stay alive, and the DDT removed a significant amount of the skewers from his head. Cogar stayed on the offensive, grabbed a bundle of tubes and placed it across Mance’s chest, before going up to the top rope himself. Cogar jumped off, looking for a moonsault, but Mance rolled out of the way, and Cogar landed on his feet. Mance still had the bundle of light tubes in his hands though, and he threw them at Cogar, shattering them against his opponent, sending a wave of glass shards shattering down onto the younger competitor! Atticus dropped to his knees, and Mancer fell back against the corner, before grabbing for the knee pad sitting down on his shin. “Knee pad up! Knee pad down!” Ol’ Mancer did just that, pulling his knee pad up before pulling it back down, charging Atticus and blasting him in the side of the head with a brutal looking knee! Mance covered Atticus, hooking the leg!
1….2…. Kickout!
Atticus manages to stay alive! Mancer huffed in frustration, before grabbing Atticus again, calling for the DDT, but Atticus managed to block, spin out, and plant Mance down onto the mat with a neckbreaker. Atticus got back up to his feet, and looked around at the things Mance had brought into the ring earlier. Atticus grabbed one of the doors Mance had brought into the ring, before placing it over top of Mance, and starting to jump on it, over and over, jumping with both feet and effectively crushing Mance Warner underneath the door! Atticus then kicked the door off Mance and set it up in the corner, before turning back to Mance and grabbing him, dragging him against it in a seated position, before running across the ring, hitting the turnbuckles for momentum, and leaping at Mance with a dropkick, sending Mance back through the door! The door broke in half from the force of Atticus’ drop kick, and Mancer’s body! Atticus dragged Mance out of the wreckage, but wasn’t done with him yet. Atticus grabbed two chairs and set them up, before grabbing the other door and placing it between them to form some sort of makeshift table. Atticus then grabbed Mance and dragged him on top of it, before Atticus began climbing up to the top rope, looking to set up for a moonsault, potentially to put Mance away by driving him through the door with it! Atticus took his time setting his feet, but unfortunately for him, he left Mance with a chair in arms reach. Mance grabbed the chair, and threw it at Atticus, nailing Atticus in the back and causing him to almost lose his feet! Atticus managed to keep his feet, but Mance quickly slipped off the door, got underneath Atticus, and drove him down through the door with a single arm Spinebuster off the top rope!
Mance tries to crawl into the cover, but suddenly, sliding into the ring is Bambi, under the direction of Tiffany Lee Ray at Ringside, and Bambi is suddenly all over Mance, swinging wildly! The Dollhouse have decided they’ve had enough of a fair fight here tonight, as Bambi continues to beat down on him, and Tiffany sends Ophelia into the ring as well, Mance now on the wrong end of what’s turning into a four on one beatdown, Mance needs some help out here!
