I think Arkanis learned a lot from QSMP (administration-wise, but also lore-wise)

Instead of getting players emotionally attached to little Egg children with limited lives, Arkanis cut out the middle man and gave them ghost kids that are already dead.

Pac's talk about Arkanis

(disclaimer: I'm not fluent in Portuguese so I may have missed or misunderstood something but this is what I gathered)

It's going to be a "survival and RP" series - there's also going to be enigmas and mysteries, but it's also going to have regular Minecraft gameplay like building houses and such

The "first season" of the series will begin very soon ("not like, next week, but soon")

Pac wanted a studio for the series so he, Batista, Tayr, Himaru, and Guhzera made one - Boiss Studios. They've been working on the project for a couple of months now

They have a team of programmers, artists, and actors(!) for the server

There'll be new mods that we haven't seen in Minecraft yet, they're being made specifically for the series

It's going to be a completely original story

There's going to be 20 participants total! So far people who have been revealed (via Twitter here and here) are Meiaum, Bagi, GabePeixe, Guaxinim, Maethe, Choke, Matt, Felps, Pac, and Coreano.

Pac emphasised that "for now" there's only going to be people who speak Portuguese in the series, which made a lot of people in chat wonder if there's gonna be Portugal-Portuguese speakers there, but he didn't say anything else. He also trailed off mysteriously about the "for now" part

Pac said he'd be streaming basically every day. the people are doubtful of this but who knows

There will be "probably weekly" events, maybe some related to specific dates as well

Regarding the story: There's a city called Valigma and it has a mayor named J. The mayor has a Twitter account and "he's very suspicious honestly". He wants to recruit "experts" for their talents, for a purpose that is currently unknown

"What talent does Pac cubito have? I don't know, we'll have to find out."

(paraphrased) "If you're upset that your streamer isn't participating: Who knows, maybe there'll be an event in the future and they'll appear, who knows."

There'll be one central story but every member can create their own story as well

There won't be subtitles like there was with the Qlobal Translator in QSMP because that mod was made for QSMP specifically. Maybe other people will have the Twitch subtitle extension like Pac does, but there won't be anything in-game

It's a mainly stream-focused SMP, and people can make stream highlights if they want. Pac said there'd probably be things posted on his own clips channel

There'll be an official Arkanis Twitch channel that'll "go live sometimes"

"Is Pac on Arkanis going to be the same Pac cubito as in other universes? I don't know! It's possible!"

It's been a very cool thing for Pac to be part of the team working on it, he's very excited and hopes people will enjoy it

It's called Arkanis from Latin "arcanus" meaning "mysterious"

There might be a fanart museum like in QSMP

Hux speaks with imperial accent. But he had to learn It. His mother was simple Arkanis woman. She spoke to him in her native language. Not in Basic. Certainly not with imperial accent. Then he was taken form her and Brendol was disgusted that his son speaks like some low nerf herder and hardly knows Basic. So Armitage learned how to speak properly. It was hard. Especially that Brendol immediately sent him to academy where everyone was talking only in Basic.

Now Hux hardly remember his native language. He curses sometimes though and talks to himself in Arkaninian. And its drive Kylo crazy. Because not only Hux has most extraordinary hair he had every seen but now he also speaks in strange language and his voice in Arkaninian is so damn soft. So different from his usual clipped imperial tone. It makes Kylo hungry.

if anyone wants a summary of last night's stream:

matt finished up on arkanis and went to go play deadlock; everyone else was late, cellbit because he was already in a lobby

they all finally got into a lobby and played together for a couple hours

bagi joked about playing roblox doors instead because fuck it

she went to sleep because she's somewhat sane but matt, guaxi, and cellbit DID go play roblox doors, a significant portion of which was just the other two watching cellbit play

cellbit tried to convince them to stay up all night with him and they said he's crazy (foreshadowing)

they spent the next several hours watching cellbit play krimson and talking, all of them fairly drunk

cellbit kept pretending to leak enigma do medo stuff but it was just random paint doodlings he's made during meetings

they somehow got onto hamilton and then started playing and singing along to it & in the heights

every time i thought they were close to ending cellbit found more wine

they watched cellbit play that new wukong game for like half an hour and then go back to krimson

at around 10 1/2 hours in matt finally started yawning nonstop

it was 90° in my house at 4am atp so i had to go to sleep out of sheer desperation

stream ended at 11h55m, at around 9am BRT

cellbit also said that he's been working his ass off lately and wanted just one night to hang out with friends and be silly so im glad he got to have that

I got access to the Sobrevivendo ao Horror PDF and I'm already working on the translation! When I finish translating at least four pages I will send the link here to keep you guys updated!

It will take a while, tho, since I'm also working on making a docs with translations and theories about Arkanis, the Brazilian SMP!

I've been thinking about my character's lore, I want to get to know the Arkanis universe first so then we can work on this, you know? [Laughs] Not that I don't have lore for my character, I have some ideas of what I want to do, but I want to get to know the universe first, you know? You understand?

Pac: Here's the thing... I had some problems in my past, and because of that, I'm more reserved/isolated, you know? I'm going to give you this little detail.

i already yapped my mind off about this with one of the admins days ago and theyve been telling me to submit it here but i didnt have the energy to actually structure this until today so;

i just think the idea of Zé Silva / O Banqueiro being f!/q!Cell(bit) would either be a fun theory or more likely a cool AU or hypothetical concept

i uploaded a video about it with a few screenshots etc on my tiktok acc riptide_11037 :3 but essentially to sum that video up this just occurred to me because of these few things

- On the first day, Silva told Matt and Bagi two things that struck me as odd; " I'll do the same thing I did with JVNQ, just wait" and " JVNQ also knew who I was, but he still almost died [from the heart]. " That seems to imply two things: 1, Silva seems to have done something to JV in the past, and 2, he knows JV and the details of his death in Fuga Impossível (a stab to the torso/potentially the heart)

- in the same conversation w/ Matt, he also mentions that he prefers to observe people, something Cell *consistently* did in Fuga Impossível, enough for it to be plot relevant on several occasions

- QSMP / Fuga Impossível seems to be canon to a few Arkanis characters

- If I squint real hard (and a few friends have agreed with me on this), Silva's skin itself has a vague resemblance to q!Cellbit's election skin (hair color/potentially style, rolled up sleeves, gloves, what seem to be arm scars, etc) with the exception of the tie color & style of suit

him introducing himself as "O Banqueiro" also has an eerie resemblance (in my perspective, anyways) to the residents of Santo Berço ("Holy Cradle") in the second Ordem Paranormal campaign, O Segredo Na Floresta ("The Secret in the Forest")

i also think. it has guapoduo angst potential, w/ this implying that q!Cellbit and q!Roier were ultimately seperated for good (if you didn't already count the whole rat + mind swap w/ doeid thing, i guess)

I really like the theory! Let the people decide if they agree too

okay a few things with this clip… firstly to contextualise this was on day 2 of the server. secondly we have confirmation that however guaxi and matt know each other before arkanis, felps was there too. and then there’s a little bit of discussion of guaxi’s treatment of matt + his general paranoia

with felps being included in the backstory my current theory is that they’re referring to matt’s first time playing Minecraft streams? here’s a link to the one with Felps and this channel has a few others too although I haven’t seen them

i just know Guaxi and Felps were both on the server, though not at the same time and this is maybe why Felps is a bit more disconnected from whatever mess is happening with guaxi and matt. and also maybe why guaxi talked badly about matt in front of Felps—Felps’ day was after Guaxinim’s so he might not have known Felps was there?

I don’t know… it could be that they’re not referring to this at all, but currently it makes sense to me that this is what’s being referenced? we’ll see i suppose

I don’t know really what is going on with Matt and Guaxi in recent vods or if people have pieced this together already, but with the knowledge Felps was apparently involved I’ve come up with a theory that Matt’s talking about his first time playing Minecraft vods? I think it was a three day event where he tried to complete Minecraft, I don’t quite remember. Guaxinim was there and then the next day Felps joined

i’m not sure who else on Arkanis played if there was anyone else though. But if I’m right and this is what they’re referring to then there’s some vods you (or others?) if you’re interested can watch to maybe get a bit of an idea of what their history was? I’ve only seen the vod with Felps not with Guaxi so I can’t speak much on that. it’s probably not heavy roleplay or much rp at all, but could still be interesting maybe \o/

anyway—not sure if this has already been brought up or if it’s even right, but it’s my current theory and I thought maybe you’d be interested?

When Ben leaves Exegol with Rey and returns to the Resistance, he’s told that General Hux is dead. The pain and the grief are so strong that Ben runs into the forest before he can hurt someone, throwing his head back and screaming to the sky when he’s alone. A massive burst of his powers explode from him, knocking down trees for miles.

If a man falls and no one is around to hear him, does he make a sound?

He falls to his knees, sobbing. He begs Hux for forgiveness, for letting this happen. Hux is gone, and that means their unborn baby is too.

But Ben carries on. He tags along with the Resistance, taking more of a backseat than anything whilst they clear up the Final Order’s mess. He tattoos himself, writing Hux’s name in native Arkanis letters on his wrist, wanting a piece of Hux with him forever.

It’s 16 years later when Ben feels a disturbance in the Force. Nothing has happened for years; there are still tiny factions of the First Order dotted around but the New Republic reigns, and Ben is happy as a traveller across worlds, appreciating life.

He’s on a space station in the Inner Rim when he sees the news reports.

‘KYLO REN: BACK FROM THE DEAD?’

There are photos of a figure who looks remarkable like him from his past life, with long flowing black robes and a red, cross-guarded lightsaber. The holoreport freezes on the person’s face, and Ben feels his knees grow weak. The person is a young man, no older than 16 years, with mid-length dark hair and pale eyes, sharp cheekbones and a glare that could kill. There’s no doubt in Ben’s mind that this kid is the son of Armitage Hux…& Kylo Ren.

Ben has to find him and talk to him, find out the truth of where he comes from. If Hux is alive and this boy is their son then…then it changes everything. Ben sets off to the planet where the ‘Kylo Ren’ was spotted, hoping with every fibre of his body that he’s going to find Hux there.

Meanwhile, on a little planet in the far Outer Rim, 16 year old Elias is getting a telling off from his mother about going out dressed like his deceased father wielding his old lightsaber for everyone to see when they’re supposed to be in hiding. Oops.
