i will write for amelia shepherd; addison montgomery; meredith grey; jo wilson; arizona robbins; callie torres; april kepner; and lexie grey. im open to writing for others though, depending on the request.
im open to writing smut, fluff, hurt/comfort, and angst with a happy ending. i’ll cover pretty much any sensitive topic because i deal with a lot of them, if im not ok with it i’ll just say no.
im masc presenting, so idk itll kinda align with that. probably more gender neutral stuff though because it seems more appropriate.
follow my main blog to see some of my works. though based around scream, i feel like itll be good for u guys to see my writing style n decide if that’s something ur into. if ur not, i am absolutely open to criticism. i’m a writer, though i’m a young writer who could improve. i would like to know how to do so.

—————————————————————
Rain hit you immediately as you left the house, groaning you took your bag, holding it above your head, shielding you from the rain.
You made quick steps to the car, not wanting to get soaked by the cold water, falling from the sky.
The day Addison came back from her trip, visiting you, it also rained. You smiled to your self as the memory floated your mind.
„What are you thinking?“ Addison asked, staring at you in disbelief. Looking up at her, with no idea what she was talking about, you scoffed. „Honey, you know how important it is to eat. And now it’s even more important, you’re still recovering.“ she lectured you. You wondered how she knew about that. But then it hit you. Meredith.
Yeah she had most likely something to do with that. If not her than Christina or even both. At that thought you rolled your eyes but regretting it immediately after, as you heard Addison softly scoff beside you. You looked at her as she glanced at you angrily.
„I missed you, Addison.“ you told her, smiling cheekily at her. „This is not gonna help you know.“she again scoffed but you saw her smiling as she pulled something out of her bag.
You quickly got into the car, driving to the hospital. The rain constantly tapping against your car, kinda annoying you. So you turned up the radio, listening to the song playing as you waited for the light to turn green. But in your mind the images from 4 weeks ago still playing over and over.
She handed you a wrapped sandwich, looking at you strict. „Now be a good girl and eat up.“she demanded, as she looked down at your hands unwrapping the paper the second she finished her sentence. Luckily she didn’t saw your face right now, you were blushing. You’re whole body grew hot and a tingling feeling spread in your lower abdomen.
She finally looked up for your dismay, trying to catch your eyes as you did the exact opposite, trying everything to avoid eye contact. No one said something, Addison trying to figure out your sudden change in behaviour and you hiding it from her prying eyes.
Suddenly she chuckled, leaning closer and tilting her head as if trying to study you even more precisely. As she said the following words „You’re so good for me“ slow and her voice almost dropping a whole octave. You’re composure failed completely, your hands stopped movement and you couldn’t control the breathy almost not audible gasp leaving your throat. Still Addison noticed every move you made and if not the blush adoring your cheeks would’ve betrayed you one way or another.
She hummed knowingly, as a grin creeped up her face. She decided to tease you a bit more about the new information she got about you. Honestly she enjoyed it too, a bit more than she probably should.
She didn’t waste a second and stood up from the chair beside your hospital bed. She grabbed your shoulders, making you scoot a bit forward. She took the newly place behind you, sitting on the bed with you in front of her, her legs angled on each side of your body.
You didn’t dare to lean back, not wanting to get even more nervous. This woman was driving you crazy. But she wouldn’t have it, not even a moment after she settled in behind you, she gently pulled you back by your shoulders, making sure your body is laying on her completely.
You were stiff for a minute but her soft, warm body and her welcoming smell drew you in, so you let yourself go and cherished the moment. Sadly you were still hot all over and she hadn’t in mind to let you recover.
„You’re really bothered by this. In a good way.“ she said out loud as one of her hands rested on your abdomen. „By what ?“ you asked silently, looking down at her hand. „You know“she hummed, leaning to the back of your neck, skimming her lips over it, till she arrived at your ear, caressing it softly with her nose, making your heart beat faster. „You like it a lot“ she noted „when you’re being called a good girl.“ she whispered her hot breath meeting your skin. You gasped, this time a bit louder. You’re skin on fire and overly sensitive. „So good“ she said her voice low, leaving a kiss behind you’re ear. You tilted your head to the side, you’re mouth practically hanging open as slow long breaths left your mouth. Addison took the hint and left three more kisses on your skin, almost making you moan, since the pleasure was something you hadn’t experienced in your whole live.
„Good to know.“ she chuckled, caressing the skin of your arm with the other hand. She finally decided it was enough, for now.
„Now eat your sandwich“she demanded.
Even just thinking about what happened made your body feel heat all over. But the fact the sandwich was an Pb&J made your heart flutter. She remembered.
But enough of that, you left your car in the parking lot, making your way to the hospital entrance.
Walking along the main hall of the hospital, you got slightly nervous. This wasn’t your first day ever but your first day in this hospital. And you couldn’t shake of the unsure feeling that settled down in your body. You hadn’t really worked for 4 month and this is a really long period of time. At least you had some time to study as you rested.
You opened the door, finding an empty locker room in front of you. You hummed happily, finding your locker to change into scrubs. It wasn’t unusual that no one was around this time of the day. The interns usually started their shifts early or late and with the end of the shifts it was the same. So the fact that it was middle of the day explained a lot.
In your scrubs and ready to go, you looked for the so called chief Webber. He wasn’t easy to find, the annoyed nurses would ether brush you off or point you to all kind of different floors.
Arrived at the OB part of the hospital, you find the certain doctor in pink scrubs talking to a male intern, handing him the charts.
The man took the charts but said something with a smug smile leaning forward, making the red head chuckle but shake her head. An unwell feeling spread in your chest, as you saw the scene before you, but you brushed it of immediately, thinking there was no need to be upset. She said something and brushed him of with a push of her hand. He turned around beginning to walk away as he suddenly catches you in his way, the same time Addison spotted you.
He pushed out his chest, making a straight line to you while he put on a charming smile. Your eyes still lingering on the women a few feet behind him as he began to speak. „Hey they’re. You’re staring at me aren’t you.“he decided taking a step forward. You were to perplexed to react to his bold sentences. You didn’t thought there were people just walking up to you, talking such none sense.
„So you’re a quite one, I get it but don’t worry I can make you scream in no time.“he prompts proudly, leaning forward about to touch your arm as a strict voice behind him made him freeze „Walk away syphilis“ Addison huffed annoyed. He groaned but turned around, not before winking your way.
There she was, standing a feet away in all her glory. You’re heart warmed as she laid her all to familiar eyes on you.
Still you greeted her in the respectful, appropriate manner your supposed too, since she’s practically your boss now, if not even mentor. „Doctor Montgomery“you greeted looking up to her as she crossed her arms, looking down at you with a amused glint in her eyes.
„Oh, now I’m Dr Montgomery?“ she more stated than asked. You let your eyes wander for a moment or two as you nodded. The pink scrubs really were adorable, suiting her hair perfectly. She was perfect.
„I can’t find the chief, do you probably know were I’m able to find him?“ you wanted to know, looking up at her hopeful. She seemed to think for a moment looking around, suddenly she stopped looking in a certain hallway. The moment you wanted to follow her eyes, she already looked away.
„What do I get? For telling you were he is.“she asked with a grin on her face, making you groan. You didn’t want to be late, a quick glance to the clock made you even more desperate.
„Anything, just tell me. I don’t wanna be late.“ you responded, mentioning to the clock, underlining how urgent this is. Your response clearly amused her, you could tell by the exited glint in her eyes.
„Anything?“she asked again, now clearly trying to annoy you. You took a deep breath, trying to ignore her teasing. „Please, Dr Montgomery.“ you begged, now visible desperate for the information. Addison found a liking in teasing you, it was thrilling. But she didn’t want to make you late or harm you in any way, so she finally gave in. „He’s just over there.“she pointed down a hallway, to a rather tall man, talking to some other doctors.
„I owe you one“you thanked her, already making your way to the chief.
You clearly didn’t think, when you promised the tall woman anything.
—————————————————————
Writing the last few sentences of your report, you reached for the cup next to you. Not even checking where it whiled you blindly searched it with your hand, accidentally spilling it over the freshly written sentences.
„fuck, fuck, fuck“you cursed silently, trying to save the neatly written page but it was to late, the ink already smudged over the whole page and the water soaked the paper. It was just one page and of course the back too but you sat a long while, drawing each word with care and slow lines. The whole work was approximate 15 pages, two of them written with hand the others on computer, like the Regulations told.
And of course the exact two pages had to be destroyed. You took a dry towel, drying the table and stacking the remaining pages on the side.
The last three weeks, since your first day were difficult to say at least. As the new intern no one trusted you, so you had to work really hard, not having a calm moment. The whole three weeks you were home two times, getting clothes and other supplies you needed. You practically moved into an one call room, not to mention the quick naps you took every other free minute.
You slumped down in the chair, holding your head in your arms, feeling your whole body ache from the exhaustion. The stress and lack of sleep finally got to you. But you couldn’t rest now, so you took a blank paper, starting again.
-
Finally done, you closed your eyes for a moment, stretching your body and already raised from the chair again. Taking the whole 15 sides, you made your way to the chiefs office.
As you closed the door to the office again after handing the reports over to the chief, you turned around, being stopped by your favourite red head.
„Dr.Montgomery, is there something I can do for you?“ you questioned her polite, your head still focused on working but you’re body sore and hurting all over. She smiled, but looked a bit worried as she placed a hand on your shoulder.
„Actually there is.”she let her hand run down your arm„follow me.”she demanded, turning around, positive you would follow her. She walked quick, her hips swaying, the heels clicking each time she took a step, as she walked proudly in front of you. Not even a few minutes were over as you already stood in an on call room. Addison in front of you closing the door gently, as you heard the lock click.
„How about you rest for a couple of hours.”she shared her idea, making you consider it for a second but you quickly denied, thinking about all the work you want to finish today.
„Thank you, but no. I still have a lot to do.”you told her, giving her a small smile, thanking her for the offer.
Addisons smile dropped, she wouldn’t let you leave before you at least lied down for an hour. She hadn’t had a chance to talk to you or see you really rest since the first day you started here. It was really worrying her, seeing you always on your feet, not even sitting but walking around for hours without brake. So she decided to talk you down until you would do what she said.
„I don’t know if you understood me correctly. This wasn’t a question or an offer.”she said, her voice low, her strict eyes piercing you right trough your body. „I want you to lie down.Now.”she took your hand leading you to bed „And don’t even try to talk back.”she made her point clear.
The quick change of her mood kinda scared you, not wanting to upset her further, you sat down on the bed, taking of your shoes.
Practically ready to lie down, one thing still bothered you. You were longing for her warmth, not just now but since the last time you were close. That was seven weeks ago and it felt like a withdrawal. Being busy the whole time, distracted you a lot, but with her standing in front of you, next to a bed, it was hopeless.
„Can you like… you know.”you tried to ask, your voice suddenly small under the observation of the tall woman, looking down to you.
Seeing that you finally gave in, she smiled in triumph. But the fact that you wanted her to hold you exited her a lot more. Of course she wouldn’t just give you what you want, not till you asked her clearly.
„You want something?”she teased, but decided the same moment to not tease you too long, since she would love to have you close.
„Yeah, can you lie down… with me?”the last part more hushed but she was still able to hear you clearly. And the question made her grin cheekily at you.
She took of her heals, smiling to her self as she saw how your whole face brightened, while you lay down scooting over to make her place.
She hadn’t even touched the mattresses as you slung your arms around her, making her laugh silently. Ending up with your head by her neck and one leg of yours hugging her legs.
You both laying in silence, as the clock on the wall got louder the longer you listened. But the small ticking was nothing compared to the loud beating of your heart, that possibly the woman next to caused.
„You feel good“you broke the silence, not knowing why you said that but it was true. She felt good, hell she made you feel good.
„I do?“she wanted to know, her voice not giving a clue about what mood she was in or what she thought.
You nodded, making her hum happily. The way you could feel it vibrate under you as she did hum, kinda comforted you but also made you want to be even closer. You wanted to feel her on your skin, you wanted to feel your skin on hers.
You didn’t even thought much about it as you leaned in kissing her neck softly. Shocked but still exited you waited for an reaction, the seconds getting longer and longer like gum.
But suddenly you witnessed her moving her head to the side, like an invitation to kiss her again. And you did once, twice, now feeling one hand of hers caressing your sides and the other on the back of your neck, holding you in place.
You now kissed purposely a way up her neck, along her ear, up to her chin and finally to her cheek, where you found the woman with closed eyes, breathing slowly.
Not feeling your lips on her she opened her eyes, seeing how you were laying on top of her, your arms on each side supporting your body weight.
You smiled, studying her closely with curiosity written all over your face. She smiled back her hand still gliding over your sides.
„Honey?“Addison called out, as she gave your sides a slight squeeze.
„Hmm“you responded, still caught by the beauty in front of you, well beneath you.
„Your supposed to get some sleep, not turn me on.“she stated, with a serious face, looking up at you. Feeling heat rise to your face, because of the thing she accused you with, you huffed embarrassed, turning away from her, you’re back now facing her as she laughed loudly.
It felt like a long moment she couldn’t get herself together, laughing as you sulked in your embarrassment. But somehow she stopped, now looking to the side were you sulked around.
Eventually she spooned you from behind, holding you close as she told you amused over and over how sorry she is.
„You’re so sweet but neck kisses do turn me on“she confessed, waiting for any kind of respond from your side but you just scoffed, making her grin. Now she had to tease you.
Leaning down to your neck, she did the exact same move you did, making you squirm in her arms. Having enough, she stuck out her tongue giving you a few kitten licks kissing each lick after as you’re breathing grew heavier. Small gasps leaving your body under the heavenly sensation you were under until she decided to bite your pulse point gently and a breathy moan slipped out of your lips. You felt her grin on your skin, as she soothed the bite with a longer kiss than usual.
„Someone’s getting exited.“ she whispered in your ear, before she lays back down, still spooning you.
Clearly this wasn’t going to go any further, because wtf.
>>What just happened<< you thought, your head full of images, trying to calm down. But still you decided to ignore this happened, trying to sleep.

Hail Mary
Amelia Shepherd x yn!little sister
Tumblr media
• You're the youngest of the Shepherd's and you are an addict like Amelia. You disappear on a bender for three weeks and you finally show up on Derek's door step where you find yourself in the middle of your own intervention.•
___
It was the middle of the night and you stumbled up the stairs to your brother's mansion, hastily shoving a key in the door and heading inside.
"Oh, thank god!"
Before you could even process anything you found yourself wrapped up in your sister's arms
"Melia, loosen up!" You groaned as you pushed her away from you and finally took in your surroundings.
Derek, Meredith, Maggie, Cristina, Addison, and your girlfriend Arizona all sat around the living room area with varying looks of concern written on their faces.
"Oh, no. Absolutely not." You refused.
You turned on your heel and stormed back towards the door but not before Amelia could block you.
"Get out of my way."
"No, you're not leaving! I know exactly what happens when you leave here because I've been through this. You're going to sit your ass on that couch and you're going to talk to us because we love you and we refuse to lose you!" Amelia argued.
With a glare and a huff you dropped your bag on the floor and headed to the couch to suffer through this talk with one thing on your mind:
When could you get your next fix?

Chicken Soup for the Surgeon
〖Notes: I had a bit of trouble trying to get the characters down for this one, I hope you like it.〗
〖Summary: Arizona's superpower is never wrong. That doesn't mean that Callie will listen.〗

.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Arizona had warned her. She had warned her ten hours ago, saying that she should take the day off of work because she’d be sick. Callie wasn’t typically one to ignore her wife’s typically valid points, but she scoffed at the idea that the perky blonde could predict when someone would be sick with no evidence at all.
As a medical professional, she needed evidence for just about any decision in her life. There came a certain comfort when one worked in a field driven by science, a level of surety that was never swayed by opinion. No matter what someone believed there was a correct answer. There may have been multiple, but there was always an answer if you were willing to find it.
Imagine the orthopedic surgeon's annoyance when she woke up for her next shift with a pounding headache and stuffy nose. She groaned inwardly and rolled over in bed, surprised to find it empty. Her wife was nowhere to be seen. Shit.
The brunette checked the time and her ‘shit’ feeling grew more intense. She was late. She was so very late.
Ignoring the protests of her overly exhausted body the surgeon pulled herself out of bed and raced to the bathroom, pulling on the first clothes that she managed to yank from the dresser. She managed to brush her teeth while doing her hair, a feat that she was mildly impressed by. She was capable of doing anything if she was late.
Callie ran into the kitchen, grabbing her bags as she headed for the door, pulling up short when she saw a note on the counter.
Calliope-
Don’t you dare come to work today. Bailey knows you’re sick and is under orders to alert me if you are seen entering the hospital. There’s chicken soup in the fridge, heat it for lunch. I’ll call you in a few hours to check-in.
Love you,
Arizona
The note gave the ill doctor pause. What if she did say home? What if she followed her wife’s orders and went back to bed? She knew from experience that Arizona made amazing chicken noodle soup, it was practically the only thing that she could cook. She also knew that there was a good chance that the blonde would come home to her if she asked.
Callie pushed the thought away as quickly as it had appeared, she probably wouldn’t be allowed to see patients but she could at least fill out paperwork. Like most of her coworkers, she was awful about finishing her paperwork on time, there was just so much going on that she didn’t always have time.

Amelia was startled from her intense study of the brain scan by a hacking cough that reverberated off of the walls and made her chest hurt in sympathy. She poked her head through the doorway and curled her lip at the sight of Callie stumbling down the hallway.
“Torres!” She called, pulling the brunette’s attention away from whatever her original task was. Based on the glazed look in the Ortho Goddesses eyes and the emptiness in her expression Amelia wasn’t even sure that she had a task.
“Damn, you’ve kept that cough through two colds and it sounds like you’re on your third.” The neurosurgeon murmured, pressing the back of her hand against Callie’s hot forehead. She grimaced and the other doctor took a few quick steps away, looking dazed. She turned away and began to cough into her arm, doing her best to shield the woman in front of her from the germs.
Amelia reared back, covering her mouth with a hand.
“No, nope. I have to be in a kid's brain in two hours, you are not giving me whatever that is. Go home Callie, you’re gross.” She wrinkled her nose and gave Callie a sympathetic pat on the shoulder before running off to rub hand sanitizer on any part of her body that might have been exposed to whatever her friend was currently infected with.
The ill woman sniffled tiredly and trudged down the hall, not going anywhere in particular. With her brain on autopilot, Callie found herself wandering onto the pediatric unit, right to where Arizona was signing reports outside of a young patient's room.
“I want a clotting test done on her and make sure to continue monitoring her vitals, page me if they drop any lower.” The blonde doctor ordered, smiling warmly at a nurse. The man nodded and went to get the things needed for the clotting test.
Callie realized her mistake at the last second and tried to veer off course, but it was too late, she had been seen. The pediatric surgeon glared at her sick girlfriend and shook her head, resisting the urge to start yelling in the middle of the hallway.
While the woman always loved her heelies, she was particularly grateful for them in that moment, it made it much easier to catch up with her fleeing lover.
“Calliope! What the hell are you doing here?” She hissed, grabbing the brunette's shoulder and spinning her around. Callie looked at her with wide eyes, seeming at a loss for words. She was never at a loss for words, she always had something to say.
Arizona felt her heart drop at the look on the woman’s face, she just looked exhausted and confused.
“Callie. Baby. Why are you here?” She asked, her voice softening as she let go of the frustration. Her girlfriend had a fever, she wasn’t fully aware of what was happening.
“I um…I didn’t want to be alone.” Callie said sheepishly, refusing to meet Arizona’s eyes. She was incredibly embarrassed by the admission, she wasn’t one to express any kind of weakness, and this, this was weakness. This was just about as bad as it could get. She was vulnerable, she wanted her girlfriend.
“Oh, Calliope. Okay,” The blonde sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose as she tried to figure out what she should do. She could stick the other woman in a room until her shift was over, that might be the best course of action. Or she could just take her home to make sure that she rested and it was probably best to remove her from the hospital entirely so that she didn't sneak off to work.
“Ellen,” She said, turning back to one of the nurses. “I’m going to take Dr. Torres home, I want you to page Dr. Montgomery-Shepard if anything happens. She will decide if I am needed.” The nurse nodded her understanding and gave Callie a sympathetic smile. The doctor wrinkled her nose in distaste, unhappy that she was getting so much attention. She just wanted her girlfriend.
“C’mon Callie. Let’s go.” Arizona whispered, looping her arm through the other woman’s. Callie coughed into her shoulder and the ped’s surgeon hummed her disapproval and rubbed her back to calm the fit.
“You okay?”
“Mhm,” Callie replied, rasped rather, her eyes dull and clouded with fever. She had started to shiver a bit, inching closer to the woman by her side. Arizona held her a bit tighter as they walked out of the building, throwing a wave at a slightly annoyed-looking Bailey on the way out.
One look at the orthopedic surgeon and the woman’s expression turned from frustrated confusion to a mix of disgust and concern. She waved back with a slight eye-roll, leaving the two to go home.
Callie fell asleep as soon as Arizona started the car, her cold taking everything out of her. The blonde smiled over at her girlfriend, her heart swelling at just how beautiful she was. The wrinkles on her forehead were gone, leaving a soft content expression on her face.
Her lips were parted and her nose was red, but that didn’t take away from her overall beauty. It added a sort of vulnerability to the woman’s stoic demeanor. That was when Arizona realized: she was in love with Calliope Torres.
She drove in silence, contemplating the revelation that she’d just had, glancing over at the sick brunette every few seconds just to reassure herself that the woman was still breathing. The quiet was only broken by the sounds of Callies soft snores and sniffles.
When they arrived home Arizona was almost hesitant to wake the brunette, she was sleeping more peacefully than she had in weeks. But her cheeks were flushed and her nose had begun to run across her lip, they needed to go inside.
She climbed out of the car and shut the door quietly, hoping to give her just a few more seconds of rest. The blonde opened Callie’s door and touched her shoulder, squeezing it gently to wake her up.
“Hey Callie, it's time to wake up.” She murmured, reaching up to tuck a lock of thick dark hair behind her lover's ear. The brunette started, sitting up quickly with wide confused eyes. She stared at Arizona, almost looking right through her.
“Hey baby, it’s okay.” Callie frowned, looking around, disoriented as she tried to take in her surroundings. She was pretty sure she’d fallen asleep at the hospital, but…this wasn’t the hospital.
“We’re at home, remember?” The blonde could read her mind and any other day it would be cute, but for now it was creepy. It was making her nervous, she didn’t fully understand what was happening and all she wanted to do was go back to sleep, hopefully in her girlfriend’s arms.
“We’re at home?” She asked, blinking tiredly up at her fellow surgeon.
“Mhm, we’re home. Come on, let's get you inside.” Arizona wrapped an arm around Callie’s waist and helped her walk inside, being incredibly careful not to let her trip up the steps. It was a slow, painstaking process, but soon enough she had the brunette in the bedroom, standing near the bed.
“I gotta change.”
“Woah, woah, sit down your complexion’s scaring me. I’ll help you change, okay? Let's take your temp first.” The pediatric surgeon whipped out a thermometer and dragged it across Callie’s forehead, simultaneously forcing the brunette to sit down. She held the woman’s chin in hand as she stared at the device in her hand.
“Okay, 101.6, that’s not as bad as I thought. Here, I want you to change into these while I get some NyQuil, which you will be taking. Understood?” Arizona had gone full-on doctor mode, not leaving anything up to fate. She would be taking everything into her own hands to make sure that her girlfriend got better instead of worse.
Callie sighed and nodded, slightly relieved to have her girlfriend with her. She wasn’t alone, she didn’t have to deal with it on her own, and she had someone to take care of her. The brunette watched as Arizona left the room and began the painstaking process of undressing, her muscles aching in protest with her every move.
She had managed to pull on the sweatpants and get the shirt half off when the other woman returned, a bottle of Nyquil in one hand and a glass of orange juice in the other. She set her things down on the bedside table and chuckled at he lover's predicament, rolling her eyes slightly.
“Need some help?” She chuckled, moving to pull the shirt off the rest of the way and replace it with the soft cotton one. With the woman changed and sitting in bed, she was now pouting up at her blonde lover.
“I don’t feel good.” The brunette complained, sniffling pathetically. Her cheeks were flushed which was a huge contrast to the pallor of the rest of her skin. As soon as the ‘I’m the toughest person in the room grrr’ attitude wore off, Callie turned into a big baby when she was sick. It was sort of endearing.
“I know Callie. Take this and drink half of that OJ and then you can get some sleep.” Arizona ordered, handing over the small ‘shot glass’ of medicine. The ill woman grimaced and glanced up with a ‘do I have to?’ look on her face that she hoped would work. She forgot that her girlfriend got that look all of the time.
“Nice try, take it.” With a long-suffering sigh, Callie did what she was told, being sure to exaggerate her disgusted expression the whole time.
“You’re mean.” She grumbled, reaching for the orange juice to chase the awful taste of the medicine.
“Yeah, but I’m cute.” Arizona grinned back at her and began to change, pulling her hair out of its ponytail as she climbed back into comfy clothes, fully intending to join her girlfriend.
Callie drank about a quarter of the  OJ before she couldn’t do it anymore, her throat protesting against the acidity of the drink. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to make Arizona happy, but she just couldn’t drink anymore.
“Alright, I guess that’ll do. Now, you are going to take a nap and I am going to do some work. Sound good?” The blonde wasn’t really looking for an agreement, it was happening whether or not Callie wanted, but thankfully she did.
She curled into the woman’s side as she pulled the blankets over the two of them, opening her laptop as she settled under the covers. The slightly younger surgeon put one hand on the top of Callie’s head, stroking her hair as she typed with one hand, the clack of the keys lulling the sick woman into a sleepy daze.
“‘Zona?” She mumbled, already slurring as she began to fall asleep. Arizona hummed in response, not looking up from her screen. She had files to finish and this was the perfect excuse to catch up on some of the pointless work that she’d been putting off.
“Love you ‘Zona.” She stopped in her work and looked down at the woman by her side, a smile spreading across her lips. Callie was chuckling quietly, her body shaking with quiet laughter.
“I love you too. Now shush, I need to work.” And that was that. Calliope Torres lay with Arizona Robbins, one sleeping fitfully while the other worked. It wasn’t the most glamorous sick day, and it wasn’t the most comfortable, but at least she wasn’t alone. Both would later agree that leaving Callie to roam while she had a fever was definitely not the best idea.

So this is a Grey's Anatomy post because I can't help but marvel at the number of doctors that are related to each other in this show 😂😂
You know how Kylie and Kendall Jenner only got famous because they're related to Kim Kardashian? And the Scarlet Witch (AKA Elizabeth Olsen) probably wouldn't be who she was without Mary Kate and Ashley? Or even how Maude Apatow (Euphoria) and Jaden Smith struck lucky with their parents - Judd Apatow and Jada Pinkett/Will Smith?
Some people get all the luck - they are connected to the right people and it makes their lives a thousand times better than the rest of us 😭. Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital has it's own share of family and friend drama most of the time (remember the Link - Amelia - Owen - Teddy - Tom drama? or Meredith and her surprise sisters?), but sometimes even these characters take it too far and we have to call it out!
So just to lay out the family relationship (not including romantic relationships) on this show:
Meredith: 2 sisters (Lexie & Maggie), and her mom Ellis Grey
Derek: 1 sister (Amelia) and 1 nephew (Lucas Adams Shepherd)
Owen: 1 sister (Megan)
Andrew: 1 sister (Carina)
Jackson: his mom (Catherine Fox) and his grandad (Harper Avery)
Richard Webber: his bio daughter Maggie (this is a technicality but still!)
I won't even get into the tangled web that is the dating chart of the doctors at the hospital! So many characters have gotten jobs that they really weren't qualified for based on the relationshipsnthey have
Join us as we talk about the characters who have basically had everything handed to them on a platter with virtually no effort (cough cough Amelia Shepherd). The rich and/or connected doctors that have a guaranteed cheat sheet to success! What do you think, did we leave anyone out?
Please watch the video and let us know what you think!

it's you and me on the rock
fandom: grey's anatomy
pairing: arizona robbins/amelia shepherd
rating: e
summary:
“Do you remember the first time we had sex? Back at Hopkins?”
Amelia shakes her head. She’s currently straddling Arizona’s thighs, resting her head on her chest as Arizona lays with her hands laced behind her head.
“I don’t remember a lot from that time, but I do remember that you,” - she pokes the side of Arizona’s naked breast for emphasis - “were the first girl I was ever with,” Amelia finishes admitting with a giggle, looking up to watch Arizona’s eyes grow big at the confession.
“Oh my god,” Arizona groans, hands coming around to cover her face as pink blooms across it and her chest.

Part1 Part2 Part3 Navigation
—————————————————————
„Ready?“ Amelia asked, her comforting smile well hidden behind the blue mask, at least the crinkle of her skin right beside her eyes revealed the purpose of soothing you. The woman wasn’t a friend but not a stranger ether and hopefully she will be the woman saving your life. Derek’s sister, you trusted her, the shadow of him still lingering in her eyes as she looked at you.
„No, but go ahead.“you answered, turning your head, focusing your eyes on the ceiling above you. The room felt big, so big you could get lost by walking a bit to far. The greenish light was pulling on the atmosphere and the clear smell filled the hall like room. You heard the voices around you as a nurse held the mask above your face. A fuzzy feeling spread in your whole body, head to toe. Your bones got heavy, the faces around you blurry and the light around you got brighter. Gone.
Outside in the hallway, not far from your limp body, Addison was doing rounds. Checking in on the patients she got assigned. She was thinking of you, even if just for a minute. Hoping everything will go well for you, for her. Not willing to thing of loosing you after she just got a chance to experience you. She liked the way you talked, telling her about your day. You were like a small vacation in her brake. You would take everything so lightly, making her wonder if there’s something you wouldn’t be able to carry. Also did you make her laugh, like a lot. Sometimes her tummy would hurt from laughing so much. Her eyes would tear up and she would forget about the patient for a moment, she lost hours ago. You weren’t supposed to leave this world just yet. And she almost didn’t worry about you leaving because you wouldn’t.
„Any pain?“ she wanted to know, looking down to the tired women, laying there. The future mother just smiled and mentioned no with her head. She was holding her belly with one hand, caressing it with the other. It was beautiful, a sight Addison truly loved. The baby not even born and the mother already loving it as if it was.
She herself couldn’t experience a moment like this. The faith just hasn’t given it to her. „That’s good, but if you should feel contractions or any kind of pain let me know.“ she added, already walking out.
—————————————————————
„Scalpel“ Addison called, holding out her hand. Seconds after already cutting the soft, stretched skin. The beeping of the monitors in the background, the supposed future mother on the table. It shouldn’t be like this, the women shouldn’t be laying here. Minutes flew by, as Addison still tried to stop the bleeding. The blood pooling out, like water coming out of the sink. It didn’t stop, it just didn’t exactly like the monitor getting louder and faster each time she moves her hand. Her movements getting more forced, the gentleness pushed out of her body long ago as the panic took in.
„The baby is in distress, we have to get it out!“Carina pushed from the other end of the room. Addison still standing there, changing the fabric filled with blood. „Now!“Carina yelled, shoving the redhead aside, prepping for a C-section. „I have to save them.“Addison whispered looking down, from her gloves dripping the warm blood, forming a tiny pool of red on the floor. Not even hours ago the woman laid there in her bed, caressing her unborn child. Now she was laying on this table, blood caressing her skin as the other surgeon took the baby out.
„Don’t.“ Addison said over and over, the flatline in the back, making it a song. A song of loss. She was gone the woman was gone, the mother is dead.
„Time of death: 8:56 pm” you could hear her say loud and clearly.
„We did it!”Amelia celebrated, stretching her back while letting out a breath. The surgery was a success, the tumour out. You of course wouldn’t know that till you wake up.
—————————————————————
Days had gone by since the surgery, the successful surgery. Your friends couldn’t wate for you to wake up. Always being by your side, holding your hand, talking to you about they’re day. It was exiting and stressful, hoping everything was alright. You weren’t alone at day, but when the night came and the hallway gave an apocalyptic vibe, you were laying there. Trapped in your body, eyes closed and your mind far away.
It wasn’t four days after the surgery that you finally had the strength to wake up. Meredith to your left, happily calling the others. It was late but still your friends decided to come and celebrate your awaking. The time you spend in the hospital gave you a new grumpy friend called Cristina. She was funny, had an unlikely humour but still you were fond of her personality.
It wasn’t until the next morning that a certain woman decided to show up. Her smile growing as she saw you looking up, feeling like you weren’t gone just frozen in time. You were the same, the same toothy grin, the bright happy eyes and the thick beautiful hair falling a bit in your face. „You got to keep your hair.” Addison pointed out, stepping to your side. „I did, well most of it.” you chuckled. Amelia used a method, in which just a tiny part of the hair on the back of your head had to be shaved. A really tiny piece and with the other hair above it, you really can’t notice the part. The read head just hummed happily, sitting down in a chair next to your bed. She was wearing casual clothes, well not really. Addison always wore expensive looking clothing, but that’s not the point. She wasn’t in working clothes, she came on her free day to visit you. She came back to her workplace, even on a free day.
She was searching with her eyes, making sure you’re fine. Almost like a mother that looks for injuries on her kid which stumbled over a rock. „I’m fine.”you said, making her look up into your eyes. „I’m glad.” she almost whispered. The proving look she gave you almost made you laugh. You laid they’re smiling right before her eyes and still she had a hard time believing you were okey.
„Test me!“you chuckled, holding out your hand. She looked at you for a moment before she took your hand in hers. Feeling her soft hand giving you a light squeeze you smiled. It was good, it felt good. For a moment you just held hands, looking down at them. You gave her hand a soft squeeze back „See, I feel you.” you told her. „That proves absolutely …. n-o-t-h-i-n-g.” she answered dramatically. You scoffed, pouting a bit as she leaned closer. You were about to give up as she looked daring at you. „Close your eyes.”she demanded. Not even considering to think about it you did as she told. She chuckled but said nothing. You heard her shifting a bit and felt the weight of the bed dipping a bit at the side. Probably she sat down beside you or leaned on the side or something. Closed in complete darkness you felt her withdraw her hand, disappointing you for a moment. Not long after you felt the sensation of her fingertips caressing your arm. Almost gasping for air, a strange sensation run trough your body, leaving goosebumps behind as her fingers still slowly trailed up. Arrived at your shoulder she leaned in „You feel that?”she asked knowingly, beginning to draw tiny circles on your shoulder. You nodded trying to capture the feeling of her fingers on your skin. This simple gesture wouldn’t normally bother you, now making you feel warm. „Use your words, honey.” the woman said with a low seductive voice, almost making you whimper.
„Yes”you breathed, the only thing you could say right now since your brain was suddenly cut short. Surely your cheeks were all red by now, the heat crawling up your face told you. Addison suddenly stopped her movements, letting her hand while on your shoulder. You gasped as you felt her lips pressing a tiny kiss on your pulse point. As her lips left your skin she blew a tiny huff of air on the skin she just wetted with her lips, making you twitch.
„So sensitiv.”she chuckled „Now I believe you.”she whispered in your ear. Still trying to calm down you opened your eyes, meeting the blue greyish eyes of the women in front of you.
Realising in which state you’re in, you turn your head away from her intense stare. Did she knew which affect she has on you? Was she playing games? You don’t know but the way your body responded to the simplest movements of the red head kinda scared you. You hear her chuckle a bit as she shifted to stand up. „Okay sweetie, I have to go. But it’s nice to know your okay.”she told you while smoothing out her clothes. She gave you one last smile and left trough the door.
—————————————————————
Again a day was over, a day laying in the hard hospital bed. Surely it would be better to have a roommate but on the opposite was it kinda relaxing. Currently you were studying for your intern exam you still had before you. To be more specific your at the end of your intern year. Just like Cristina and George but they can actually work and you have to sit here. But at least you have time to study.
„Hey, what’s up ?”Mer walked in, swinging her hips a bit as she smiled down at you. „Nothing really just curing cancer while I lay in bed”you joked, a bit upset about the fact you have to stay here on more week.
„Yeah right.”she laughed but still grinning like an idiot. She batted her eyelashes looking at you, expecting something. „What do you want?”you groaned right as Cristina strolled in. „How is it going with your girlfriend?” both women giggled. Confused what these two have in mind you scoffed „Who?“you asked tilting your head a bit as you grabbed your Pb&J sandwich. You unfolded the rapping paper as the two women whispered exited like children.
„I saw her kissing your neck. I knew there was tension but I didn’t thought you two would do it in the hospital during your recovery.”Cristina revealed making the other woman laugh. At that you your face got really hot and you shuffled uncomfortable in your bed. “We weren’t doing anything. She was just testing my senses!”you shouted frustrated.
Mer and Cristina continued making fun of as you refused to listen to their chaos. Not even moments pasted as clicking heals were heard, making their way down the hallway. Trough the windows in you room you could see your favourite red head making a stunning appearance like always. Like someone who has seen something really amazing, Mer and Cristina looked at each other knowingly. „There she comes!”Mer celebrated, standing up and taking Cristina with her to leave the room as the tall woman opened the door. It was an awkward sight as the two chuckling women pressed trough the door held by Addison. The read head just scoffed amused but ignored the strange behaviour, finally looking to you. She didn’t say anything until she sat by your side, looking at you with kind eyes.
„How are you?”she wanted to know. The light coming trough your window caressing the side of her face was just underlining her breathtaking beauty. You admired her for a short moment before you answered, the pink scrubs again. You really liked them, you liked how they looked on her.
„I’m great. How are you doing? Any babies born today?”you asked making sure to give her on of your smiles. Rewarded with a toothy smile from her side made you want to smile all the time. Her delicate features glowed in the evening sun, making you question why she didn’t already counted as expensive art, you couldn’t afford until you did some really dirty business. „Actually three babies, all in four hours.”she mentioned proudly, her eyes giving away the joy she must feel.
„Pb&J sandwiches ?”she added, taking the second one you neatly stored on the small table beside your hospital bed.
„Indeed, there’s nothing better in the world.” you mused making her chuckle. She unfolded the rapping paper, taking a small bite, humming at the taste. „Actually there is.” she said wiggling her eyebrows. You needed a minute before you understood what she meant. You scoffed as you realised, looking at her with disbelief. „I wouldn’t know.”you shrugged making her snap her head to you. She scrunched up her nose, looking at you shocked. „You’re a Virgin? You never?”she asked the sandwich in her hand long forgotten. „Well not really, there was one time.”you told her, hoping she wouldn’t make fun of you. Not like you didn’t trust her, but you had a few friends that thought it would be funny to make fun of you. A few jokes are alright but they treated you different, telling it everyone the second you first met. They said it wasn’t normal and stuff like that. But it was totally normal and you knew that.
„Well I didn’t expect that. Are you asexual or do you just haven’t had the chance? Or was your first time really that bad, honey? You don’t have to answer of course.” she said with a soft voice, her hand wandering to your upper leg , just resting they’re. Like a support kind of thing, telling you she has your back. „I’m not asexual.”you stated surely. „I don’t know, the first time was forced and my boyfriend at the time kinda pressured me.”you answered one of her questions. She nodded understanding but still thinking about something. „I’m sorry to hear that but why haven’t you slept with someone after that? Sex is really good.” she prompted making you laugh. You again just shrugged your shoulders, taking a bite out of your sandwich. She looked at you for a moment and did the same.
After that you changed the subject, telling her about your internship. You talked a lot and laughed as you enjoyed your sandwiches. At the end she offered to help you study for your exam sometime. You of course eagerly excepted, as she put her white coat back on, since her break was almost over.
„I come visit you again in two days since I have a trip to a patient of mine. See you soon, honey.”she said standing up from her chair. „Goodbye Addison.” you smiled, watching her leave. The fact that she had to leave for two days kinda upset you for a reason you couldn’t wrap your head around. The last sunbeams slipped trough your window as you got back to reading a medical book.
—————————————————————
The time moved slower, well it felt like it. The visit from Addison isn’t even 24 hours ago and it still feels like a week. You tried to find something to do, but all you could do was lying around and reading. The fact that you couldn’t move around just yet made everything worse, you just didn’t got tired. You tried to sleep several times but nothing worked. So as your boredom grew, your appetite disappeared.
The nurses told you to eat something but all you could do was take a bite or two, the plates of food getting brought more often as you sulked around.
But there were still good news, Amelia told you about the complications when you would fly back to your hometown. She said it would be easier if you stayed here and of course that isn’t possible. Your internship ist 6 hours away with a plain, to be specific the hospital you currently worked at. So there was a big problem at first, but somehow Miranda heard from it all. She made you an offer to transfer to Grey Sloan. Normally it would hardly be possible but thanks to your medical condition, things will get arranged.
From now on you will work in the Grey Sloan memorial hospital.
