The shrill vibration of the cell phone made Arizona Robbins abruptly wake from her sleep. She blinked against the darkness that still enveloped her bedroom. In the dim light of the display, she recognized the name of her babysitter, Claire. With an uneasy feeling in her stomach, she reached for the cell phone and answered the call.
"Claire, is everything okay?" she asked, her voice still rough from the sleep from which she had been rudely awakened. "Arizona, I'm so sorry," the woman on the other end of the phone began apologetically. "I got sick last night and have a fever. I can't look after y/n today. I wanted to let you know."
Arizona's heart skipped a beat and she felt worries piling up in her head. A glance at the clock told her that it was just 5:45 a.m. The day hadn't even really started yet, and she was already faced with a problem. "Oh, Claire, I'm sorry to hear that. Don't worry, I hope you get well soon," she said, even though she was frantically thinking about how she could organize this day. She hung up and slowly let the phone sink onto her bed covers.
At that moment she heard the soft patter of small feet in the hallway. The door to her bedroom opened and you stood in the doorway, your hair wildly tousled and your eyes still half asleep with your favorite stuffed animal tucked between your arm and chest. "Mommy? Why are you awake?" you asked quietly and continued on your way to her bed.
Arizona gave a tired but warm smile and pulled the covers aside so you could slip into bed with her. "Good morning, baby," she murmured as you snuggled up to her. "Unfortunately, Claire can't look after you today because she's sick."
You raised your eyebrows in surprise. "And who's looking after me today?"
"Me, my sweetheart. You can come to work with me today," your mother explained to you and watched as your face turned into pure excitement. "Really?!" you exclaimed and sat up, immediately forgetting your tiredness. "I can come to the hospital? With you?"
Your mother laughed when she saw the joy in your eyes and gently stroked your hair. "Yeah, exactly. But we have to hurry, okay? We have a lot to do and you have to promise me that you'll be good."
"I promise! I'll be the best helper," you explained with a serious expression and quickly climbed out of bed.
Arizona swung her legs out of bed and followed you into the kitchen. The morning routine had to be quick and efficient now, but chaos was inevitable - like every morning. While she tried to get the toaster to toast her bagels faster, you rummaged through your drawers looking for your "perfect superhero outfit." Clothes were scattered everywhere as you settled on a blue Supergirl t-shirt that you thought was the best for a "doctor's day.
"Mommy, look, I'm ready!" you stood triumphantly in the doorway and proudly pointed to your shirt dangling over your pajama pants. Your mother laughed again. "That's a great shirt, superhero. But we better put some jeans on you so you look like a real doctor, okay?"
You nodded eagerly and ran to get your jeans. Meanwhile, Arizona prepared you a quick breakfast - pancakes, your favorite food. She knew you had a stressful day ahead of you and wanted to at least make sure you started off in a good mood.
When you were both finally there and the kitchen was - at least halfway - back in order, Arizona helped you pack your bag. "We'll take some toys with us in case you get bored," she explained as she packed coloring books, pens, your stuffed animal Emma and some snacks. "You know I can't be with you all the time because I have to work. But I think some of my friends will play with you if they have time."
"I know Mommy," you replied, now feeling dressed and ready. "But I'm still glad I get to go with you. It's much better than staying home." Your eyes sparkled with excitement and Arizona couldn't help but smile. She knew the day was going to be an adventure for you and she was happy to be able to share this special moment with her daughter.
The drive to the hospital was an endless series of your questions: "Can I say hi to the babies?", "Can I help you be a doctor?", "Do they have super help at the hospital?" Arizona patiently answered each question and enjoyed the liveliness you brought to her car and her heart. Even the early morning traffic and the dark clouds in the sky couldn't take away her joy when she saw your sparkling eyes.
"You know, there are a lot of super helpers in the hospital and you know some of them. Alex, Miranda, Teddy.." she said, briefly looking in the rearview mirror to smile at you. "But I'm glad I have my little super helper with me today." You grinned proudly and swung your legs back and forth.
When they finally arrived at the hospital, Arizona felt a rush of nostalgia as she walked through the doors hand in hand with you. Many of the nurses and doctors who greeted her smiled when they saw you. "Good morning, y/n!" a nurse called when she spotted you.
"I'm my mommy's helper today!" you declared proudly, skipping along beside your mother as she walked through the hospital halls. "I'll be a good boy and help."
Arizona felt your hand firmly in hers as they walked through the busy hospital corridor. She was glad that she had managed to arrive on time despite the hectic morning. Your eyes were still shining with excitement as you curiously looked at the people and sounds around you. "Mommy, are these all your friends?" you asked with a smile as you walked past the doctors and nurses who continued to greet Arizona in a friendly manner.
"Some of them, yes," your mother replied with a warm smile. "But now let's go to my office, okay?"
But before they reached the doors of the children's ward, Arizona heard her name. The familiar voice of Dr. Miranda Bailey echoed throughout the corridor. Arizona stopped and turned around, pulling you closer to her.
Bailey walked quickly towards you both, a medical file clutched tightly in her hand. She smiled down when she saw you. "Well, who do we have here? Good morning, y/n."
You beamed when you recognized Bailey. You had seen her several times before, when she came to the hospital with you or when she came to a party at the house, and you always found the "strict lady" fascinating. "Good morning, Miranda," you replied politely. "I'm my mommy's helper today."
Bailey laughed softly and winked at Arizona. "Oh, I see we have professional support today." Then her expression became serious and she turned back to your mother. "But, Arizona, we have a case I need to discuss with you. It's important.
Arizona noticed the worried look on Bailey's face and nodded. "Of course, what is it about?" she asked, holding your hand and trying to draw her attention to the conversation.
Bailey pulled up the file and pointed to a picture of an ultrasound. "We have a newborn on Ward 4 with a complex heart defect. It's a rare diagnosis and I wanted to hear your opinion before we make a decision." She flipped through the file and explained the medical details while Arizona listened carefully.
"Okay," Arizona said, briefly letting go of your hand to move closer to the file. "That looks like Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. We should think about an operation, but I need to see the exact values to better assess the risk."
While the two doctors were discussing the next steps intensively, your gaze wandered through the corridor. You looked at the colorful posters and drawings on the walls and discovered a large aquarium in a corner of the waiting room. Your eyes lit up - the colorful fish were magically attracting you. Without Arizona or Bailey noticing, you quietly and curiously separated from your mother.
You stepped closer to the aquarium, her eyes fixed fascinated on the small bubbles that rose up and the bright colors of the fish. "Oh, that looks like a rainbow," you murmured to yourself. You completely forgot that you were supposed to stay with your mother.
Arizona, meanwhile, was still deeply engrossed in the conversation. She discussed the different options and risks of the operation, while Bailey nodded in agreement and asked additional questions. For the two of them, it was a normal day at work - a critical case that required full attention. Minutes passed as they went over the notes and diagrams in the file.
Only when Bailey glanced at her watch did she realize that she and your mother had been talking for a while. "You know what, Dr. Robbins? We should discuss this further in your office before the surgical schedule for the day is full," Bailey suggested.
Arizona nodded in agreement. "Good idea," she looked around to bring you back to her. "Y/n? Come here, we'll go to my office."
But no child's voice answered her. She turned on her heels and looked down the corridor into the ward, her eyes searching for you. "Y/n?" she called louder, but the familiar, happy face was nowhere to be seen. Bailey frowned and looked around too. "Where did she go? She was just here."
Arizona's heart began to beat faster. She hadn't taken her eyes off you for a second - at least she thought so. "Y/n!" she called again, her voice now more clearly colored with concern. She took a few steps in the direction she had last seen you walking, but the hallway and the waiting room were empty.
"Okay, wait. Maybe she's just nearby," Bailey tried to calm your mother down, but there was also a hint of tension in her eyes now. "We'll look around and ask the staff."
Your mother nodded, but her mind was already racing. You were curious, and the hospital was big - there were so many rooms you could have gotten lost in. She called out to you again as she continued to search the flood. She quickly turned to a nurse who was hurrying past. "Have you seen a little girl? Supergirl shirt, light jeans and colorful sneakers?"
The nurse shook her head. "Sorry, Dr. Robbins. I didn't see her, but I'm on the lookout."
Arizona thanked her briefly and continued walking while Bailey contacted security on her cell phone. "Missing child in Ward 2. Please keep an eye out, about nine years old, wearing a Supergirl shirt." Then she turned back to the blonde doctor. "Give me two minutes, and if we don't find her, we'll trigger Code Pink."
Her heart was pounding. Her hands were shaking as she continued to run through the halls, looking into every open space. She knew a Code Pink was a serious measure - it meant putting the entire hospital on alert to search for a missing child. But every second that passed made her fear grow.
It was a maze of bright lights, rushing footsteps, and constant alarms. Arizona felt her breathing become shallower as she and Bailey hurried side by side through the pediatric ward. Every step echoed in her ears, and the watch she wore on her wrist seemed to tick her fear away with every passing moment. Where could you be?
"Y/n!" she called again, but the only answer was the monotonous beeping of the machines and the murmuring of the nurses tending to their little patients. Her hands were sweaty as she opened door after door, hoping to see her daughter's familiar shaggy head. But each time she found only empty rooms or bedbound children staring up at her with wide eyes.
"Arizona, stay calm," Miranda said, her voice firm but not unkind. She knew how hard it was to suppress the panic. "We're searching everything systematically. She can't have gotten far."
But she couldn't stay calm. Every room they searched without success made her heart grow heavier. What if you were lost? What if you got into one of the elevators and ended up somewhere else in the hospital? Or worse, what if someone had taken you? Her mind raced, and she felt tears welling up in her eyes as she forced herself to stay focused.
Miranda gently touched her arm as they entered another room. "Look at me, Arizona. We'll find her." But Bailey couldn't quite hide the worry in her eyes either. For a moment their eyes met and she saw the hint of concern that Bailey was hiding behind her professional facade.
"I... I know," she whispered, but her voice was weak. She had to stay strong. For you.
As they continued down the hall, they heard the loud clatter of metal carts and a group of doctors came towards them. Arizona gently grabbed the nearest nurse by the arm. "Have you seen a little girl? Supergirl shirt and light-up shoes? Nine years old?"
This nurse also shook her head. "No, I'm sorry, Dr. Robbins. But I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I find her."
Arizona nodded gratefully but didn't let up and turned to Bailey. "We need to search the intensive care area. She could have gotten in there without realizing it."
Miranda Bailey nodded as she headed for the intensive care unit. Her pace quickened, her mind racing. The thought of having to trigger Code Pink was terrifying. It was a measure used only in extreme emergencies, and she could feel the panic building within her. But what else could she do if you didn't show up soon?
She and Bailey worked their way through the ward, looking into every room, every patient room, but no one had seen you. Arizona felt the chill of fear spreading in her stomach. She was really close to setting off the alarm when she suddenly stopped.
Something stopped her in her tracks - a soft sound, barely audible over the bustle of the ward. A soft, happy giggle reached her ears, followed by a voice she knew all too well. Her eyes widened.
"Wait," she whispered to Bailey, her voice barely more than a breath. "Do you hear that?"
Bailey put her finger to her lips, closed her eyes and tried to focus on the sound. The giggle repeated itself, more clearly this time, and Arizona couldn't believe it. She knew it was your laughter - a sound she would have recognized among thousands. She turned, saw the nondescript door of the storage room in front of her.
"In there, but how did she get in there?" Arizona asked quietly, her eyes fixed on the door. Her hand turned to the doorknob, her heart pounding in her chest. Bailey stood close behind her, her expression focused and attentive before she pushed the handle down and slowly opened it.
The door swung open and Arizona caught a glimpse of the scene beyond. In the small room, surrounded by shelves filled with medical supplies and cleaning supplies, Alex Karev sat relaxed on the floor. You stood in front of him, laughing and clapping your hands, while Alex, with exaggerated seriousness, presented a syringe without a needle and a stethoscope as "super doctor equipment".
"Hey, Dr. Robbins," Alex said when he saw Arizona. He grinned widely as if nothing had happened. "I saw her walking around the children's ward alone. Thought I'd better bring her here before she really disappeared."
Your mother felt tears well up in her eyes and relief hit her like a wave. "Oh my God, Alex, thank you! I... I didn't know what she was like and I was so scared..."
Arizona dropped to her knees and pulled you tightly into her arms. "Honey, you can't just run away," she whispered and hugged you tightly, not hiding the tremor in her voice. "I was so worried."
You looked up at your mother, confused. "But mommy, I just wanted to look at the fish... and then I saw Alex!"
Alex shrugged. "Well, I thought she might need a little company before she could possibly get to other wards. So we practiced playing super doctor a bit." He smiled at you and winked. "But next time you'd better stay with your mom, okay? There are so many exciting things here that it's easy to lose track."
She looked at Alex with a look that expressed gratitude and relief in equal measure. "I really don't know what I would have done without you. Thank you for finding her."
Alex stood up and dusted the dust off his pants while grinning broadly at you. "No problem. Plus, it made me feel like a hero again."
Bailey stepped closer and put a hand on Arizona's shoulder. "Well done, Karev. That was the right decision." She smiled slightly and then looked at you. "And now, little lady, you'll always stay with your mother."
You nodded eagerly. "I'll stay with you, Mommy. I promise." You gripped her hand tighter, as if to show that you really meant it. Your mother stroked your hair gently. "That's good, honey. Now we'll go to my office and make you comfortable there, okay? No more walking around."
As they set off, Arizona felt relief in every step. The lump in her throat dissolved, and for the first time that day she could breathe again. She was grateful - for Bailey, and especially for Alex. Her colleagues were her family, and today they had proven once again that they were there for each other.
As they left the children's ward, she looked over her shoulder and saw Alex going back to his tasks. She knew she still owed him something, but right now only one thing mattered: she had you safely with her again, and everything else could wait.

Already Taken…
Pairing: Arizona Robbins x wife reader, reader x greys characters
Summary: reader and Arizona are married and have been keeping it extremely under wraps, everything is going okay until some of the interns decide they want to get on your service, leading to Arizona getting jealous and showing them who you belong to.
******************************************************** You walked through the front doors of Grey Sloan and headed straight for your office. You had some meetings to get to so you shot your wife a txt letting her know you’d see her during rounds. You were hired on a few weeks ago but haven’t been able to practice due to various meetings, you were a triple board certified general/obstetric/trauma surgeon who used to be chief of trauma at another hospital. You were dressed to the nines waking in your suit with coordinating stilettos your white coat, after your last 2 hour meeting with Dr. Bailey you rounded a corner running into your wife who was looking down at a chart.
“Arizona!” You said catching her in her tracks.
“Oh god Y/N you scared me.” She said laughing between you. She turned pulling you into one of the on call rooms, “How’d this morning go?”
“Oh you know the usual, they want to know everything about who I am, why I choose this job, why I started in OB and then jumped to general and then trauma…”
“Well I’m sure they loved you I mean I definitely do, though I wouldn’t have been able to focus with you looking like this.” She pulled back taking in the sight before her, your dress pants with the heels hugging your legs and butt in all the right places, your button up had the top three buttons undone revealing just enough breast to still be business but to look amazingly sexy, the way your white coat hugged your arms and how your curls fell perfectly from your bun.
“Get used to it because you’re going to be seeing a lot more of it.” You said placing a quick kiss on her lips.
“You won’t hear any complaints from me Mrs. Robbins.”
“Mm…it’s Dr. Sinclair right now.”
“You’re only helping your case.” She said ghosting over your lips again running delicate fingers tips over the v neck of your shirt, “but unfortunately I do have interns I have to attend to.”
“Yea, I have to go grab my charts and then meet you to do rounding.”
“see you then.”
“sounds good.” You said swatting at her butt as she swayed her hips out the door. You quickly grabbed your charts and made you way down the hall rounding the corner and standing behind a group of eager interns. Who whispered amongst themselves while Arizona, Dr. Bailey, and Dr. Grey stood in front.
I wonder who the new doc is, I wanna know what specialty they are, I bet it’s some old rich white guy, not even 24 hours on the floors and you have people talking. You made eye contact with your wife as she waved you forward, you stepped up next to the other doctors and the whispering stopped abruptly, busted you thought to yourself.
“Good morning interns and welcome to Grey Sloan memorial hospital, I am Dr. Miranda Bailey chief of surgery for the hospital and I am happy to be meeting you all.” She introduced herself and then you went down the line Grey for general, Robbins for PEDs, and then you the new head of trauma.
“I guess it’s my turn,” you all laughed, “I am Dr. Y/N Sinclair and I’m the new head of trauma.”
the next couple weeks went by fairly smoothly, well for a trauma department that is, the interns were always swarming trying to scrub in on the next big surgery. At first you both noticed the whispers and requests that turned into, “I’ll get your coffee,” and then that turned into other favors. You let it slide for a little bit until one day a young laboring mom was being life lighted in with severe trauma injuries, of course all the interns swarmed you and Arizona trying to get in on the surgery.
“Hey Dr. Sinclair?” One of the girls asked.
“Yes?”
“Can I talk to you?” This interns was promising and had been shy through her journey you were waiting for her to take the step and seize the opportunity.
“Sure, though it’ll have to be here cause we’re prepping for this surgery.”
“With her here?” She said shyly gesturing to Arizona who stood across from you at the nurses station.
“Is there a problem with Dr. Robbins being here?” you smiled at the shy intern, you'd seen her interact with Arizona before and saw how she was shy and nervous every time your wife was around, you assumed she had a girl crush whether she admitted it or not and you thought it was hilarious, you just didn't realize that it wasn't Arizona.
“No I um… I wanted to know if I can scrub in today,” she said redirecting her attention back to you and quickly realizing that you had analyzed her entire interaction.
“You know I think I’d be okay with that as long as Dr. Robbins doesn’t mind.” you looked over to Arizona who slowly looked up and nodded.
“Sounds like a plan to me.” She smiled at the young doctor, who quickly scurried away, face flushed red.
“Wow, you’re quite intimidating.” Arizona said looking at you and you chuckled to yourself watching the intern retreat.
“You think so?” You eyed curiously, laughing at your wife. She slowly shook your head and chuckled to herself.
"I think she has a crush on you." you joked.
"Oh no Love, that's all you, she's intimidated by you and definitely wants a piece of you, too bad you're already taken," she said jabbing at your arm.
"Really? there's no way."
"Babe I've seen a lot of people look at you like that, I looked at you like that except I made up my mind that I was going to make you mine."
"Haha very funny."
"Yeah but you know I'm right, that's why you have my last name," she said getting close to you before teasingly turning away.
Not 15 minutes later you were standing outside the OR and Arizona had told you she would meet you there with updates and to scrub in. You heard a knock on the door and wondered who would be asking permission to come in.
“Come in.”
“Mm the mysterious Dr. Sinclair, I heard you’re letting one of us scrub into your surgery.” you looked up greeted by another young female intern.
“Yes, do you have a problem with that?”
“Only if I'm not the one scrubbing in… I wanted to ask you if you had any plans tonight, you're smart and extremely hot, like dirty sexy hot and I um… I would be willing to treat you right to a night of drinks and fun and then maybe help with some stress relief after this case.” She ran her fingertips over your bicep and stepped in closer. What you both didn’t know was Arizona was right outside the door, she slowly entered as you were responding to the intern.
You looked at the intern shocked by how forward she was, a lot of people didn't know about you and Arizona, not that you hid your marriage you just weren't openly showing it in certain settings, but you still wore a ring, even in the OR you wore one, and when in business attire you had a pretty nice diamond on your finger that was hard to miss.
“Okay, first I’m married, to an amazing woman who just so happens to be a world-class surgeon at this hospital for that matter, and If I recall you said you had another case you were working on so I would say that takes precedence, there will always be other cases.”
“I’m sure your wife wouldn’t mind…”
“Oh, I’m sure she would.” Arizona interrupted, walking over to you and crossing her arms behind you.
“She's your...I…um… Dr. Robbins, I didn’t see you there… I, um.”
“I think you were just leaving.” You said coldly, as she watched like a deer in the headlights quickly turning to run out of the room.
“And that is why I love you.”
“Arizona…”
“I know, I know…” you finished scrubbing in and while gowning up she walked over to you.
“I know I probably shouldn’t do this but good luck, and thank you for earlier.” She said and leaned up to kiss you. You could hear the gasps from the gallery as others watched this unfold and finally realized who exactly you were married to Meredith and Bailey both smirked at each other and they now didn't have to keep your little secret. But you didn’t care you were about to save lives with your wife, and there was nothing more that you’d rather be doing.
“Okay people let’s save some lives tonight.”

Bad Day
Pairing(s): Arizona Robbins x Fem!Reader
A/N: Originally published on Wattpad. [Wattpad username: @ tml_19]
It was the worst surgery I've ever been in. Nobody was focused. I was doing all the heavy lifting. It was a nightmare, and Richard wasn't helping me when I clearly needed it. Now, because of them, my patient died. Today can not get any worse.
Now I'm sitting with my back against the wall in the nurses' office area.
"What's up, Sunshine?" I hear Arizona's perky voice ask.
I look up at Arizona, whose face saddens once she sees me.
"Zona," I mutter, but before I could continue, she sits next to me and pulls me into her arms. Her warmth gives me such a sense of safety, I sob, with my head resting on her shoulder.
"Hey, hey," she speaks with comfort and awareness in her voice. "It's okay, Sunshine. It's okay."
Once my crying stops, I sit up and look at her. Her arms still around me, we stare into each other's eyes for a minute, but it seems like a lifetime. I lean in, until I realize what I'm doing. Then, I pull back in time.
"Oh my gosh. Zona, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to," I say.
She starts giggling. "It's okay. Believe me, it's alright," she says before she presses a short but sweet kiss to my lips. "I've wanted to do that for a while," she says, smiling at me.
Her pager beeps before I could say anything. "Oh, I have to go. I'll be as fast as possible. Then, I am taking you out for a night you won't forget. I'm going to turn that frown upside down. I promise, Princess," she says.
I smile and nod my head in approval.
"Wow," I say under my breath.
"You're okay?" Meredith asks looking down at me. She must've been passing by.
"Yeah, I'm... I'm okay," I say before getting up to start walking with her.

Accident
The afternoon was sunny in Seattle, and Y/N's soccer team was in the midst of a match. Arizona Robbins, Y/N's girlfriend, watched with enthusiasm from the stands. The relationship between Arizona and Y/N was passionate and filled with love, and Arizona couldn't help but feel proud seeing her girlfriend shine on the field.
Y/N, skilled and passionate about soccer, maneuvered the field with agility. She was a fearless player, always willing to give her all for the team. However, at a critical moment in the game, a player from the opposing team committed a serious foul, hitting Y/N with force. The impact was so strong that Y/N lost consciousness and collapsed on the field.
The crowd in the stands fell silent as the stadium's medical staff quickly rushed to Y/N. Arizona, witnessing the situation from the stands, felt her heart pounding. Worried, she hurried down the stairs to approach the field.
Arizona arrived just in time to see Y/N being attended to. Her face showed anguish and concern as the doctors assessed her girlfriend's condition. Eventually, Y/N regained consciousness, though visibly affected by the blow.
Arizona's expression shifted from concern to exasperation. She approached Y/N quickly and hugged her tightly.
"Are you okay?! I can't believe they allow such brutal plays in a match!" exclaimed Arizona, frustrated and upset.
Y/N, still dazed, smiled weakly. "I'm fine, Arizona. It's part of the game. Don't worry too much."
"But they should protect you better. I can't stand seeing you like this," responded Arizona, gently kissing Y/N's forehead.
“I love you” Y/N said. “I love you too” Arizona replied as she helped Y/N to her feet.
Although Y/N tried to downplay the incident, Arizona couldn't help but be affected by the idea of Y/N being in danger. Both headed to the hospital for some examinations to ensure there were no serious injuries.
The experience further strengthened the bond between Arizona and Y/N. Arizona, always protective and passionate, committed to being even more present in her girlfriend's important moments, making sure nothing hindered Y/N from enjoying her passion for soccer and, above all, their mutual love at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

It was the middle of the night and you stumbled up the stairs to your brother's mansion, hastily shoving a key in the door and heading inside.
"Oh, thank god!"
Before you could even process anything you found yourself wrapped up in your sister's arms
"Melia, loosen up!" You groaned as you pushed her away from you and finally took in your surroundings.
Derek, Meredith, Maggie, Cristina, Addison, and your girlfriend Arizona all sat around the living room area with varying looks of concern written on their faces.
"Oh, no. Absolutely not." You refused.
You turned on your heel and stormed back towards the door but not before Amelia could block you.
"Get out of my way."
"No, you're not leaving! I know exactly what happens when you leave here because I've been through this. You're going to sit your ass on that couch and you're going to talk to us because we love you and we refuse to lose you!" Amelia argued.
With a glare and a huff you dropped your bag on the floor and headed to the couch to suffer through this talk with one thing on your mind:
When could you get your next fix?

Can I request a Amelia/Arizona x fem!reader fic? maybe with the reader being a visiting attending or during their time when they'd both be at Johns Hopkins?
❛ 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 ❜
𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜: Arizona Robbins x f!reader ♡
𝘼/𝙣: I thought to do Arizona this time, I hope this was like your idea! <3
You had to face a very long journey, from Los Angeles to Seattle, for a very important uterus transplant. You already met the patient some time ago. She had come for a consultation to try to have a baby since after so many attempts she had never succeeded. You did everything to help her, but she was furious. She wanted a baby badly. And she just blamed you and your methods, and she was gone, probably looking for some other study that could unnecessarily help her.
Then you were called by Grey-Sloan Memorial to perform one of the most important transplants in the world, your patient who has been diagnosed with a disease that compromised the formation of her uterus, and with one of the most important fetal surgeons, Arizona Robbins . You didn't believe it when you read that name.
It was her? The same Arizona Robbins from Johns Hopkins? The same gorgeous girl you were in love with?
Yes, you and Arizona were in a relationship when you both attended Johns Hopkins. But it was as though you both cared for each other you hurt each other... And in the end each one followed their own path without thinking or doing anything else. You were really sad for this.
The journey had tired you a lot, as soon as you arrived and entered in the hotel room you threw yourself on the bed, just wanting to close your eyes and be able to fall asleep.
The next day, when you entered the hospital, you asked for information about the patient in order to reach her. God, this place was huge, but it was amazing. You've never felt so disoriented.
Arizona was already in the patient's room, probably already explaining the various risks of the surgery. It was really her, the always cheerful one, with her smile and her unique way of being so beautiful and cute.
You entered with a smile at your patient, then turned to Arizona. She changed her expression and met your eyes. You couldn't tell if she looked happy, but a little surprised maybe.
You finished exposing the last details, now you just had to take her to the operating room, everything was ready for the surgery.
"Scalpel" the nurse handed you the scalpel, you looked at Arizona for a second, then lowered your gaze to begin the incision.
~X~
The surgery had gone perfectly. There were some complications, but nothing that together you couldn't solve. The patient was in the recovery room, as soon as she woke up you couldn't wait to tell her the good news.
"Y/n" you turned around and saw Arizona.
"Yes?" that's all you just answered not knowing what to say. How do we behave in these cases?
"We didn't have time to greet each others..." she tried to smile at you.
"Well, hi" you said turning back to the patient's room. If she was even a little interested in you she could have called you, but she didn't. Even you. You actually tried, but you never succeeded.
Now you didn't want to ignore her or act childish, of course, you still cared a lot about her, in fact, since you saw her again you've gone back to being 20 and feeling the same way. It sounded pathetic, but when you started your internship, you even wished that she had chosen the same place too.
“Y/n, it's been years” she figured you were still referencing that. When someone hurt you, you could hardly get over it.
"I know, in fact I don't know why you brought up the subject" you retorted pretending nothing happened.
"I missed you" she said causing you a rather surprised face.
"And you don't know how happy I am to see you again" she added with a sincere smile.
"But you didn't call, or looked for me" you said looking into her eyes.
"You too" It's true... "Unless you didn't care" you raised your eyebrows.
"I didn't cared? God, you have no idea how hurt I was about this!" you said raising your voice slightly at the end.
"We were so stupid..." she replied shaking her head.
You looked down not knowing what to say.
"You could stay here to work. Well, I mean, there aren't many fetal surgeons..." a smile came out spontaneously from your face.
"Seriously?" you asked laughing.
"Why not" she seemed really serious. "Together we'll work even better" it wouldn't have been so bad if you thought about it, it was true, during that surgery you both were awsome, imagine with others.
Before you could answer she pulled you by the arm into a call-room, closing the door.
"Wh-" she kissed you deeply placing her lips against yours interrupting you and making you feel so freaking good.
"Sorry, I- I couldn't don't do it-" you smiled at her biting your lower lip.
"And you're more beautiful than I remembered..." she added.
"So this is how new colleagues are welcomed in this hospital?" you asked with an ironic tone earning yourself another kiss.

Could I request an Arizona Robbins imagine in which the two are together but they’re arguing over what route to go in for a surgery and during the surgery they bicker and soon they make up? After the surgery and then it’s fluffy?
Author Note: Finally another story from me in the universe of Grey's Anatomy. I haven't written for these characters in a long time so sorry if they don't do justice to the real character on the show, I need to get back into it.
---
"Bookeh, pass me the pincer grip, please" ordered Arizona and looked concernedly at the monitor to which her little eight year old patient was connected in order to keep an eye on his vital signs during the procedure. "Pulse fluctuates violently, blood pressure is low but in the range."
Her gaze turned back onto the small and petite body as soon as she was informed of the health status and took the requested item between her outstretched fingers. "You seem nervous, we should have taken my route. It would have been safer!" you spoke slightly annoyed and pansy into the room, unsure whether the little boy would survive the operation with such a huge intervention and the associated risks with it.
"Then instead of three small punctures that the laparoscopy needs, he would have a huge scar that will forever remind him of this!" she answered seriously and continued to concentrate on the imaging procedures, which thanks to the camera, showed the whole abdomen.
Before you could counter anything against her choice, she invited you to look at the monitors as well and learn from it. "What can you see?" she asked to cover her nervousness about the information she had just discovered.
"The intestines are quite convoluted" you explained.
"I agree. That´s why I am going to try to unravel the intestines with the switch. What else can you see?" she continues to ask and began to press around the individual pieces of intestines with the forceps. "The rectum already looks necrotic" you answered confidently and a small grin escaped your lips.
Now she had to go your way; Arizona could not continue removing the already dead tissue with a laparoscopy. "Enough with the teaching, ´zona. We need to expand the operation and cut him open as soon as possibly."
The blonde bit her lip and stared silently at the monitor. She did not like to admit that you were right, but denying it was not in the cards at that moment. "I can see that, Y/n." While she carefully pulled the instruments out of the boy´s abdomen and sewed up each abdominal wound that was left behind, you took the scalpel and drew a long line from the navel to below the waist.
"I told you from the start that we should do it this way, why can´t you just listen to me?"
Sighing, your girlfriend pulled the stitches tighter and her hands clenched on the sewing scissors she was holding. "Because I am the head of pediatric surgery and I usually always contest the procedure I think is right!"
"Can you at least trust me for once and listen to me?" You brought me into this operation so I think I have a minimal right of choice as well." Your voice is suddenly muted by the irregular beeping of the monitor, allowing no time to bicker as you freeze for a moment in shock. Both heads looked up from their work and announced synchronously, "Pulse has dropped to 52, blood pressure has fallen into the red area."
While you tried helplessly to locate the source of the young man´s sudden debilitating state, Arizona stood paralyzed in her place and watched you frantically work the open body in on the operating table.
"What happened?" she asked in disbelief, seconds later, beginning to break out her rigid state as she mentally prepares for the worst. "He´s bleeding. Above the necrotic tissue, the intestinal wall is so thin that it tears open as soon as I touch it."
You tried desperately to stop the bleeding that was obliterating all your vision. The suction that Bookeh held in the open abdominal cavity, trying to suck up the blood to give you a better view, also failed due to the amount of blood. "I need help here, four hands are still better than two."
Your girlfriend quickly moved to the opposite side of you and grabbed the tools needed to help you find and stop the bleeding. But she, too, was struggling and was sure they had to do more than that. Arizona noticed through a minimal insight that both simple sutures and the tissue had not chance to hold or recover; everything had to go.
"Hemicolectomy. We need to remove the part that´s impermeable or it may rupture. Rose, page Doctor Bailey, we need assistance here" the head of pediatric surgery was slightly overwhelmed and annoyed, so she pronounced the sentences slightly mad.
---
After a few hours and the active support from Bailey, the little boy survived. Although he had a bumpy and difficult healing path ahead of him, the most important thing was that he was still breathing and had a long life ahead of him.
"Fortunately, everything went well" Arizona whispered and you could hear relief in her hesitant voice. Your gaze turned to her briefly and you nodded before looking at the sink again, not a word leaving your lips.
You stood in the washroom of your used operation room and kept silent to each other until the blonde spoke up. "Maybe next time I should step back and listen to you when it comes to a surgical route" she admitted, looking down at her hands. "It´s not that I don´t trust you, I just like to always be right and do everything right, you know?"
You nodded.
"Arizona, it´s okay. I am not mad at you." you said mournfully and simply, drying your hands before moving behind her and burying your face in the crook of her shoulder. "I know that you only want the best for the little ones on the operating table, I can understand that."
Your hands slid down her sides and she giggled before placing her hands on your forearms and wrapping them around her middle. Soft, light and warm kisses breathed on her thin and ticklish skin between head and shoulder, she leaned her head back into her neck and enjoyed the closeness and warmth of you.
"I am sorry."

My House, My Rules
Pairing: Arizona Robbin’s x Wife!reader
Summary: You and Arizona are married attendings, you’re both performing ground breaking surgeries along with you revitalizing the role of Cheif of surgery, after an extremely long week all you want is alone time with your wife but you’re fellow surgeons seem to get in the way outside of work to.
Warnings: 18+, little angst, smut to fluff
********************************************************
Ding… you heard your phone go off with a text, you figured if it was urgent they would call, so you let it lay on its respective side of the counter while you chopped veggies for your pico de gallo. Tossing some peppers into the bowl you heard it go off again ignoring it. You felt as gentle hands wrapped around you from behind, Arizona leaned her head between your strong shoulders her arms wrapped tightly around your torso, she relaxed her breathing letting it fall in line with yours.
“Hey baby…” you trailed tossing the last of the tomatoes in the bowl and cleaning your hands with the towel over your shoulder, she squeezed tighter around you. You turned in her arms letting her rest her head on your chest, gently wrapping her in your arms and kissing her head, the smell of her shampoo and perfume mixing was intoxicating.
“I’ve missed you.” She whispered, it killed you… seeing the impact this was having on the both of you. You had recently accepted the role of head of emergency medicine which meant paperwork and meetings on top of your existing case load, which is hard enough to manage. Arizona was so proud and extremely patient but it had been a week since you’d had a moment alone together.
“I know, I’m so sorry… Can I make it up to you?” You whispered in her ear.
“What do you have in mind?” She said looking up to meet your eyes, a shy smirk as she played with the buttons on your shirt. Before you could explain your phone started going off.
Ding… Ding… Ding,Ding… you rolled your eyes ignoring it. Turing your attention back to your wife, but before you could go any further your front door burst open, revealing Shepard, followed by Grey, Christina, April, and Karev.
You pulled Arizona against you holding her as they made their way into the kitchen… you couldn’t tell what they were taking about as they were all yelling at once telling different stories. Arizona looked up at you and stepped aside and she saw your face drop, it was a face she’s seen too many times in your ER, it was your take charge face.
“Okay, everyone shut up!” They all stopped talking at once, you were never one to raise your voice so when you did it caught peoples attention.
“What the hell is going on?”
“I just drove…” Derek said a hand swiping over his tired eyes.
“I’m here to watch the cat fight.” Alex said excited as Yang punched his arm causing him to jerk away.
“It started with Kepner…”
“Did not!!”
“Oh did to!!!” They all started yelling again.
“Okay!!!… Look I don’t care what happened or who did what… I don’t even give a damn as to why you are standing in my kitchen right now, what I am concerned about is my gorgeous wife that is standing here with me that I haven’t been able to be with in over a week… So please get the hell out of my house so I can spend the night with my wife.”
they all looked at you shocked and quickly exited the house as fast as they entered, you followed to lock the door, Derek turned with a silent thank you before closing the door behind him.
you returned to the kitchen to see Arizona standing there, a smile across her face, “You know that was really sexy, I love it when you take charge.”
“oh do you?” You said smirking kissing her soft lips.
“Mmhmm…” she said pulling at you shirt buttons again.
“Well then forget dinner for tonight we can heat it up later.” you said pressing against her, her back pushed into the stove as you leaned and quickly ghosted your lips before turning everything off. You leaned down kissing her again and running your hands along her body. You lifted her up setting her on the counter, she pulled the buttons apart and quickly pushed your shirt off your shoulders not breaking the kiss, you pulled at the jeans she wore tossing them to the side and wrapping her legs around you. She ran her fingers over the simple black bra that you wore taking in the sight before her, she quickly pulled off your old Harvard t shirt that she was wearing throwing it to the side, revealing the matching navy bra and panty set.
She kissed you again as your hands explored her body, you hoisted her up wrapping her legs around your torso as her hands ran through your hair one arm thrown over your shoulder as you carried her upstairs to your room trying not to break the kisses.
you placed her on the bed and slipped off your jeans, she looked at the sight before her, you on top of her in your black bra and matching simple black panties, the scar on your abdomen from the shooting, she ran her soft fingertips over the strong muscles that she so admired. She undid your bra sliding it off and taking in the sight before her she ran her hands, gently along your nipples, she looked back up making eye contact with the beautiful woman above her.
you bent and placed bruising kisses on her lips only pulling away to catch your breath letting you lips ghost only mere centimeters apart, your eyes trailing hers. She lifted her leg pressing her thigh against your hip as you ran your hand down her thigh and up her side. You bent down placing kisses on her stomach, your skilled hand unhooking her bra and tossing it aside, you kissed up her body, placing kisses on her breast but before you could go any further she flipped you over. She sat in your lap before working her way down to your legs, gently parting them and pulling your underwear off, tossing them behind her.
“You my love, have already done enough… let me take care of you.” You tried to open your mouth to talk back but she quickly quieted you, by running her hands down your inner thighs. You felt every nerve tingling as she kissed up your thighs, her fingers slid over your slit quickly ghosting over your clit before she inserted one and then two, she wrapped her soft lips around a nipple and you arched your back into her already teetering on the edge. Her fingers pumped in and out slowly at first only picking up pace as you moaned into her kisses.
“Arizona… baby… Oh god… I’m…”
“Hold on love.” She said moving her mouth down to your clit, her fingers kept moving in and out as she pulled it into her mouth, she knew exactly what she was doing and in a couple seconds you would be seeing stars.
“Arizona…” you moaned with a high pitched whine, your hands one tightly gripped the sheets the other tangled in her hair as she pushed you over the edge. You felt your muscles tighten and then release as you climaxes she pulled her fingers out letting her mouth take over and coax you back down, that was until her nose ghosted over your clit and she heard your whimpers and pressed a little harder, the aftermath causing your legs to tremble. She crawled back up your body laying on your chest.
“Thank you.”
“for what, you did all the work.”
“I just wanted you to know you were loved and I wanted to do this, you’ve worked so hard all week you needed to relieve some stress.”
“well in that case it’s your turn next.”
“in the morning… can we just lay here for now, i just wanna lay here and enjoy my wife.”
“whatever makes you happy baby.” You smiled as you both laid there in each others arms tangled in your own bodies.

Arizona Robbin x reader - Bonding over a trauma
First posted on my Wattpad - arizona_is_my_wife
Word count: 965 (including A/N)
Arizona's POV: Owen - "Incoming trauma people, multiple car collisions 5 injured and critical 2 dead on site be ready!" Great. I've just got out a surgery on a kid who needed a new bowel but there was some complications so it ran over and I was in the OR for like 11 hours and now this? Don't get me wrong I adore my job but I just want to sleep. I go and get a trauma gown on and wait for the ambulances. Y/N - "Hey I assume you got called down here for the trauma as well?"
Y/N's a cardiothoracic surgeon whom I happen to have a massive high school style crush on, she's a god. Like I don't think I've ever seen her lose a patient. Sure she may not cure them all the way and might have just bought them a couple more months but, that's better than dying on the table and if she couldn't do anything no one else could've. Arizona - "Yeah I was, I hope it's not too bad because I just got out of a really long surgery so I want to sleep so bad" Y/N - "I feel you, I just got done with a CABG it didn't take long only 5 hours but I've been at work since 4:30am for pre rounds and it now what? 6:30pm." Arizona - "Man that's rough, wanna grab a drink at Joe's after this?" Y/N - "Sure, I could do with some alcohol." Our conversation was short lived as we heard the wail of the ambulance siren rapidly approaching. Paramedic - "Female, 17 years old, multiple lacerations to the abdomen and chest, presumably a broken leg and a foreign body lodged in her chest!" Y/N - "Thank you we've got it from here."
Time skip
We managed to stitch up all her other wounds and stabilise her leg until Callie can come look at it and now we're trying to figure out what object is sitting dangerously close to her heart. I go and collect the scans to show y/n. Arizona - "Well, it doesn't look like glass." Y/N - "Definitely not glass. Wait.." Arizona - "What, what? Did you see something?" Y/N - "Crap! That's pushing right on her left ventricle we need to get her to an OR now before it penetrates it and she bleeds out!"
We rush her into an OR and crack her chest. Y/N - "In all my years of being a surgeon I have never seen a girl with a piece of number plate (license plate) in her chest, what about you Robbins?" Arizona - "Yeah no, this is a first for me too."
As we continued to operate nothing went wrong, like I said, god. So before I knew it, it was time to close and for Callie to come in and fix her leg. We left an intern to close because we both just wanted out of the hospital at that point.
We walked to Joe's and sat at a table and ordered drinks, I got a vodka and lemonade she got a beer. We sat in silence for a while until she spoke up Y/N - "You know, we should really hang out more, your a very fun person to be around. You're so bubbly and fun so.. yeah just an idea." It was cute because I could tell she was nervous and in all fairness I was nervous to reply because I didn't want to screw this up. Arizona - "I'd love that, you're a very nice person to be around too y/n."
Y/N POV: For weeks we have been flirting, weeks. Yet neither one of us has made a move. This is the closest we have got to asking the other out ever, so, I took it upon myself to make an even bigger move. I leaned in and kissed her. Her lips were soft and fit perfectly against mine. I felt her melt into the kiss and all my nerves around the whole situation evaporated. Her hand trailed its way from her lap to my cheek and the other to my hip. I took the incentive to wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer. At this point air was becoming a problem so we pulled apart. Arizona - "I know it might be a bit soon so no pressure but because we've know each other for a while and with all the flirting I just assumed we could skip the whole 'talking' stage and just got straight to being girlfriends I mean if you don't want to it's fine like I said no pressure or anything.." As she rambled I just stared right into her blue orbs, they're so mesmerising and just downright gorgeous. She stopped talking to that made me snap out of my trance. Arizona - "So?" Y/N - "Arizona, I would love nothing more than to be your girlfriend." She smiled ear to ear as I pulled her into my embrace. She buried her head into my shoulder and we just sat there for a bit before deciding to crash at her place for the night.
As we layed in her bed she was cuddling me, my head was in her chest and my arms around her like a koala. She wrapped her arms around my tired frame and rested her head atop mine and whispered sweet nothings into my ear as we fell into a peaceful slumber.
Don't get me wrong it was a tragic accident and I would never wish it upon anyone ever but, I am happy the trauma came in because otherwise this wouldn't of happened, I wouldn't have Arizona. My Arizona <3
