Again, no sketch since this girlie is super important too! I really had to debate on making her 14 or 16, but for story purposes, I needed to make her younger.

Technically, since she's been "adopted" by Mayumi, that makes Arisu Ryuko and Maki's stepsister... I guess? It'll make stuff complicated for sure lol

Incomplete character correlation diagram! Until I finish the fourth team, which yeah, their color is gonna be gray, this is going to be a WIP. But with three fucking teams and a secondary Chuohku team, I gotta start posting now. (´∀｀；)

Party of Words 💮

A tertiary team within the Party of Words, as expected they consist of three women. The Director of Intelligence and Research Office Mayumi Tanaka, an officer in the traffic bureau Riyeko Ietsuna, and middle school student Arisu Chikahisa.

These women both handle and command the events of my own Hypmic OCs' worlds. This is where most of the D.R.B. events between my blogs will be posted.

This is a canon-divergent Hypnosis Mic blog run by @nugsters. Character art done by me will be tagged with "nugsters art". Character-specific posts will be tagged appropriately with their names. This blog is completely for fun so postings will be irregular. Interactions and questions are encouraged!

Party of Words OC Team Dynamics 💮

Mayumi and Riyeko

Mayumi's Side - Riyeko was handed to Mayumi as a means to do what she needs especially concerning utilizing Ramuda clones. However, upon digging into her brother, Yano's relationships, Mayumi found it better to utilize Riyeko as a point of control. Keeping the Ietsuna sister on a short leash, Mayumi found it easier to use both siblings for tracking down subjects and eliminating any threats to the Party of Words.

Riyeko's Side - At first, Riyeko really hated having to work with Mayumi. Constantly being told to run strange errands for the woman, becoming her lapdog was the last thing she wanted (although it was better than having to be at the beck and call of Ichijiku Kadenokoji). However, now working with the Party of Words for roughly two years Riyeko sees Mayumi as a depressing person. While Riyeko knows almost nothing, Riyeko is smart enough to realize that her missions seem to intersect with Mayumi's past regrets... Regrets that seem to show itself more as this D.R.B. approaches.

Riyeko and Arisu

Riyeko's Side - Being close to Mayumi means that Riyeko has occasionally had to escort Arisu around. These errands are some of the worst Riyeko has to handle (in her opinion). Arisu seems to know exactly what button to press to get a reaction out of Riyeko. Of which, Arisu seems to love holding the Ietsuna siblings' debt above Riyeko's head constantly often using it as a way to get her way. It keeps the cop on a very short leash to say the least. Because Arisu is a part of her job, Riyeko cannot call Arisu anything outside of her first or last name in a formal way. Internally though, Riyeko refers to her in many different names that are probably not appropriate to say to a 14 year old.

Arisu's Side - For an adult, Arisu thinks that Riyeko is super egotistical. And she thinks its funny how high and mighty Riyeko makes herself out to be when she has special treatment and tasks given to her by the Party of Words. So knocking the cop down a peg is always fun for Arisu. Constantly reminding her of her faults and mistakes, Arisu thinks that humbling Riyeko is necessary. Especially when Arisu wants to keep Riyeko around not as a servant (as funny as it is to Arisu), but as a friend or family member.

Arisu and Mayumi

Arisu's Side - It wasn't until a year ago that Arisu was able to figure out who was in charge of all the classified information regarding her past went through Mayumi. And under that year, Arisu was able to prey on Mayumi's soft spot for kids. Arisu has stated to everyone that getting adopted by Mayumi was a formality; since Arisu was an orphan, getting adopted into a family for a sense of normalcy was expected. But unknown to everyone including Mayumi, Arisu has been closing into the Party of Words' secrets. So far, Arisu doesn't totally trust Mayumi, since Mayumi is like the rest of the scientists and officers who have been hiding the truth about Arisu's past. She doesn't believe that Mayumi is at fault however, since Mayumi is only doing her job. At least, that's what Arisu hopes. Arisu has yet to call Mayumi her mom, but she does address Mayumi as 'mother' when they are out in public together.

Mayumi's Side - Unknown to her previous children, having a daughter was something she had always wanted. So when the group responsible for ████████ ███████████ ███ ██████ (the company working under the guise of a medical company that makes new prosthetics) came to her with their special subject Arisu Chikahisa, Mayumi readily accepted her under her wing. While Mayumi would love to delude herself in this new life as a mother once again, she's all too aware of what Arisu really is and what she means to several projects. As a result Mayumi keeps Arisu as a distance, knowing that if things go wrong she could lose Arisu in an instant. So far, she has given Arisu the basics of a normal family life, doing her best to spend time with the young girl. Secretly, Mayumi as gushed whenever Arisu has called her mother, although she wishes that Arisu would drop her guard and say it in a more relaxed manner.
