I just have to know… are they as jacked as they are in the show, or would they have like noticeably smaller muscles??? Bc they ain’t ninjas?? or does the insane amount of sports they all do make up for the not being ninjas?

I think they're about on par! They're pretty a pretty active bunch, so they arguably do about as much (if not more) than the canon boys, since it's implied that their training is perhaps a bit, uh, sporadic when we first meet them at the start of the series! But they do have a bit less 'ninja training,' so to speak, though they're very capable martial artists! But, you know, they learned their martial arts in their dad's dojo in Brooklyn as an after-school activity...

i have like a severe interest in archaeoastronomy and firsthand observations of the night sky and the techniques that humans have been using to observe for like utter millennia. and so this had led me to a weird position where even among my fellow astronomy people i'm like, too knowledgeable about certain aspects of it such that none of them know wtf i'm talking about. like yeah my one coworker will make a metaphor and say that something is like an oscilloscope, and we all nod our heads and agree because we all know what an oscilloscope is and have done experiments using one. but if i mention like, the nebra sky disc. i'm the only one who gets it

Im thinking about a band au plotline where Ari discovers a love for music after the passing of her mother, singing to herself as they sort the records, humming along to songs, or playing a piano late at night for a restaurant gig to keep food on the table for their siblings, joining a band and it being so toxic that she looses her sense of empathy, unable to really react, but being healed by friends helping her cope in healthy ways finally being able to make the music she wants as an independent artist

my only criticism right now is that they cut so many of my fave lines and moments. so many important moments, stuff that really make ari’s character, and show his relationship with people around him. i get that they had to cut it bc it’s a movie but in my ideal world director’s cut is a 5 hour long movie that includes ari’s narration
