#FAILBLOGGER FAVS — NOW CLOSED

As promised, for my silly Valentine’s Day event, we’re going to switch the roles and have our favs be the chronically online failbloggers <3 this is open to all my followers we don’t have to be mutuals for you to take part so everyone come join ;)

WHAT I NEED:

Send me an ask and tell me a selfship of yours (please just one) and what the dynamic/lore is—just give me a decent amount of relevant info so I know what the ship is like. If you’re only a reader, tell me your favorite fanfic tropes, preferred word count range, and if you like to read sfw, nsfw, dark content, or all of the above. If you’re a writer, please include the previous info regarding the fics you read and write (I know, I know. A lot of typing, but it makes a difference I promise. To Me it does.) Please, and I can’t stress this enough, include whether or not you’re comfy with dark content because that will severely change the direction I take things

OPTION 1 — get a detailed description of how you and your fav become mutuals on tumblr and what they’re like on dash, what sort of asks they’d send you, what vents they’d make, who they’d beef with and block (as in other characters not real ppl btw lol), and what discourse they’d get themselves into

OPTION 2 — get a detailed description of what they’d be like if they wrote fanfiction about you and selfshipped with you. This includes how they might characterize you, if their forte is sfw, nsfw, dark content, etc., if they’re non sharing or sharing, who they’d beef with over you, how many comms they’d get, and plenty more idk I’ll come up with it as I go LOL

Hi! With Valentines Day approaching, I thought it’d be the perfect time to host an event. While there are some limitations on who can join, I hope everyone enjoys what I have in store!

❥ Who Can Join?

This is a mutuals-only event. However, if you're a mutual-in-law (a mutual of a mutual), I’d be happy to write drabbles for you as well!

If I’ve seen you around on the dash, I’ll probably recognize you, but I’d appreciate it if you included a name just in case! :')

❥ How to Join:

This is a drabble event! If you'd like to participate, send me an ask with details about your self-ship—this can be anything from voicelines to a general summary of your relationship. I need something to work with to bring your story to life!

If you have a specific scenario, setting, or AU in mind, feel free to include that as well. I’ll do my best to make it happen!

❥ What I’m Writing For:

I will only be writing for Genshin Impact. I’m open to most characters, but fair warning—I haven't played the Natlan Archon Quest yet, so I may struggle with Natlan characters.

(PS to my HSR mutuals: I’ve written for Blade, Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, Sunday, and Aventurine before and might be open to doing so again!)

I'm willing to write almost any theme but smut, pregnancy, drug use etc. are not things i'm comfortable writing.

Drabbles will be short (usually between 400-700 words) unless inspiration strikes!

i’m not entirely sure what my gender or sexuality is :,> (all i know is that i have a preference for men)

i really like sleeping when i can, drawing and writing are things i also like to do! i also like ranting about random things-

i tend to stay by myself though i do like hanging out with my friends whenever i can! i’m very sensitive emotionally and i tend to be able to empathize with people easily, though it tends to take a toll on me. having anger issues doesn’t help either- though i rarely take my emotions out on people.

i’m very physically affectionate and i tend to show my love through actions rather than words. i tend to get overstimulated/overwhelmed whenever there’s too much noise or people around me. i’m also super loyal to my friends and tend to be a bit protective over them (and just the people i love in general)

i tend to stay up VERY late at night because it’s pretty calming and it’s when i have the most energy. i tend to stay at home a lot but i do like going on walks or randomly exploring my area. i’d also like to be a librarian or work at a bookstore!

i love moths and cats to death and could talk for hours about them tbh- though i love listening to people i like talk about the things they like too!

he might draw the line in staying up late with you, however. instead, he might try to switch you to sleeping a bit earlier with him and get you into a healthier sleep routine.

one last lantern rite thought (at least it should be the last one)

some people are disappointed about wasted potential with menogias's lantern and tbh me too—however i am Not trading gaming's character arc for yaksha lore they can coexist. just make the lantern and minu an important sideplot/ending quest and get those fontanians out of the epilogue instead (every day we're faced with the restrictions that gacha places on storytelling) we can have both estranged son and father and also geo yaksha expansion... i agree that it's pretty disappointing to have all his mentions be in random lines and the furnishing description without any proper focus on it, but then again, after the first lantern rite i dont think any of the mingxiao lantern designs have gotten like a focus in the event itself (sea gazer from 3.4 wasn't mentioned much either). so maybe there's precedence but also . where's yaksha storytime

the other things conspicuously missing are xingqiu (bro put on a french outfit just to not even interact w the fontainians in the epilogue like what is this), liyue 6ang, and beiguang annual lantern rite flirtations. like again, all of this could have been shoved in the epilogue because they're cameos but no it's international collaboration time? like sure but hhhh forced as hell sorry
