Since officially opening its doors on December 2, 1983, the Arden Theatre has played host to some of the world's most renowned artists like Celine Dion & Jann Arden — to name a few — as well as local musicians, dance schools, theatre troupes and school productions from the local community. Currently, like all Entertainment Venues, the Arden Theatre was greatly affected by the current health crisis. After 24 or so years as subscribers to the Walnut Street Theater, we decided to change things up a bit and try a subscription to the The Arden Theatre Company, and tonight we saw Ragtime, The Musical, based on the EL Doctorow's novel. What a stunning, heart-wrenching, gut-punch of a show. After 9 months, 6 shows, and several Instagram takeovers...today was my last official day as stage management intern at @ardentheatreco ! It's been quite a season with everything from drag queens to puppies and everything in between and I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity. Thank you to everyone at the Arden for bringing me into your family...especially our three incredible stage managers and eight hardworking APAs! You guys have been my rock through this year and I'm so glad I was able to be in the room everyday with you.
