I find it funny that some anti-therians say stuff like “well, you can’t be an animal, because if I put you out in the woods right now you wouldn’t be able to survive!!” Like… yeah. If you take a fox and force it to live in a house with humans for its whole life, it won’t be able to survive in the wild. That doesn’t make it not a fox???

I told my partner I was a therian yesterday and they called me a weirdo, they call me a weirdo a lot as a form of affection and typically I agree, playing along with it and calling them weird back for being the one to ask me out, but yesterday it kind of hurt because I was being serious. They didn't mean to hurt me and I know that for a fact, so I brought it up later in the night. They got back to me today (we're distanced, it sucks but we deal) to say sorry and sort of just confirmed that it is a term of affection, my best friend calls me a freak in the same way and I just call them a bitch in return. It still kind of hurts since it was meant to be serious, but I'm ok now.

They're genuinly amazing though.
