hour 5 of ao3 being down… i have resorted to actually writing in my notes app for my nightly phone time rather than reading… the situation is getting dire, and i don’t know how much longer i will be able to survive this famine

if you are reading this it may be too late; i may have already succumbed to the lack of sustenance- in that case, i say stay strong my fellow soldiers… you will get through this plight

The one benefit about ao3 being down is that it forces authors to focus on writing their own fics instead of procrastinating by reading others.

PSA about AO3 right now

I understand this is a little panic inducing but PLEASE do not try to keep logging in or reloading the site, it's going to overwhelm the servers and make it more difficult for the very hardworking staff. And it will take longer.

In one hour my husband (AO3) will leave for the war (maintenance) and I don’t know if he’ll return alive (it will be back up in 10 hours)

I think what is really funny about AO3 getting issues, is that every single time it doesn't hit me until a day or so later.

So I am currently waiting for my life to be ruined.

When your bedtime story website goes down so you have to go to bed at a decent time in hopes that when you wake up in the morning she will return to you with open arms, giving you all of those tabs full of multi-chapter fics that refreshed when she left you.
