The arcane fandom as many others has such a horrible issue I want to address. Yes editors are artists in a different form too, their works require patience and skill, but what is NOT okay is them downloading fan arts previously stolen and put on Pinterest by no name accounts and then using them in their edits without asking for permission to use them or properly crediting the artist. "Credit: idk" or "Credit: Pinterest" IF YOU CAN'T CREDIT THE ARTIST, DON'T USE THEIR DAMNED WORK!!!!! I see way too many edits that use fan arts that surely took hours to make as if they're some free to use stock images.

I'm making an edit of Jayce but I can't decide which Jayce would people be more excited to watch. It's one of those edits people make about their fav kpop idol on Tiktok, with upbeat music and showing a badass-hot side of them. Would you help me choosing one option? I think people love S2 beard Jayce, but S1 Jayce has some amazing scenes like the forge one too that would fit the edit really great.

Can i just say as someone who cannot make a tiktok account, those over on youtube have been doing a great f--king job taking one for the team and creating GOOD quality compilations of the funniest arcane tiktoks known to me?? Like...yes i know there's that copyright grey area but how else was I supposed to find out about the Jayce pfp war?

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really like a lot of TikTok style edits? I find them to be really amateurish and jarring visually.

Specifically I cannot STAND the transitions between scenes. When a scene change doesn’t do a direct cut and instead does this weird motion blurring strobing effect every few seconds it hurts my head and gives me a migraine.

Maybe I’m just getting too old for these things, or maybe I just don’t have a tolerance built up… but whatever it is, 90% of the “edits” I see pop up and spread in the community are physically painful for me to watch.

Can you guys just not…. Cut? Directly? You don’t need to add transitions to EVERY CUT. I can’t focus on what you’re trying to say if the scene is concern ly moving with all these obnoxious effects and strobing lights.
